resume building service
This is what I have been dealing with for the past day. I cancelled the initial trial and this did not get reflected in my account. I have been charged 8 times for a service that I have not even signed into. Your employees will not refund my money and I can see why you have such horrible reviews online. I wish that I paid closer attention to my account and I would not be in this rough situation. I know that you outsource your phone services because everyone that I have talked to has a language barrier. Maybe this person who was supposed to cancel my account did not do so for whatever reason. I cannot speculate. I would like this issue brought to your attention and hope for a speedy resolution. My credit card is also investigating this complaint EMAIL DOUG.[protected]@LIVECAREER.COM Thank you for contacting Resume-Now Customer Care. First of all, we would like to apologize for the way you were treated by some of our agents. Their actions were unacceptable. We will definately be taking action. We also want to thank you for the evidence provided. The first time you sent the information should have been enough. We have proceeded to grant all the charges since March. This means that $398.00 should be reflecting in the next 3-5 business days. Your account has been cancelled and no further charges will be made to your service. Per Management.

cancellation of service and refund of the amount fraudulently deducted
I had opt for your service in September and after the initial payment of $1.30 I had cancelled your service online but fraudulently without any intimation you kept deducting and a total of $198 has been deducted. I need an immediate refund of all the money unknowingly deducted from my account even after cancellation of your service. This is really a scam, I...

Live Career Ltd owns multiple resume building scam websites. Their sites sell you resume building services for nominal fees and then begin charging your credit card a monthly fee 36x the amount. It was 2 months before I caught this happening on my credit card. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and will fight to be refunded everything, but this company should be shut down before this happens to more people.

I purchased 14-day service, which was okay. It is somewhat useful. The problem is, once I canceled account, this company still charging monthly $38.50 two times. I do no have account access anymore, due to account deactivation. Their phone support are not picking-up call. I send email through their link, but no response.

intentionally mislead and confuse customers - was charged $38 for nothing
This service intentionally mislead and confuse customers - I only wanted to buy one CV, but was charged several months for NOT using thei srvice: no notifications, no updates, no invoices. If you are buying a CV at one of their products you will be automatically charged for a subscription $38/month, but there is not a sign anywhere saying this. They only say this in one email, but make it in the very end of the letter. And they make it intentinally because: - Not a word about subscription and its price when you buy just one CV - They include information about subscription only in one email (when you buy one CV in the very end of the email they say: "As a reminder, to avoid any disruption in your job search, your subscription will automatically renew each month beginning on 08/06/2015 at 23.80 per month". But they say - "Order amount: £2.95" I am not a native Englisj speaker and I could not understand what do they mean saying at 23.80 per month. Overall the service brings no real service - just scam and fraud
cancelation of my subscription
When I subscribed to this it cost like a $1.oo and said I could cancel at any time, so once I realized what I did I canceled it immediately however, this morning as I was looking through my bank account I noticed I was charged $34.95. I want this taken off my account now. They should not say you can cancel anytime and then not cancel the account when asked to. To me this is a fraud.
I never even used this account because I don't need help with anything they have to offer.

LiveCareer somehow steeling competitive resume's and publishing those resume's as sample resume from their website. They just change name and publish it as their sample resume. They are keeping candidates personal profile in the public. This looks so unethical and very dangerous.
They keep the personal data in the public..
I paid $2 for subscription and that was supposed to be a trial. There was nowhere said that later I'm going to be charged extra $25! When My Perfect Resume took money from my account I contacted them to ask what was going on. They have no reply till now .

Hi I have same experience! I purchased a cover letter or something with awareness of paying $1. Today, I found that I was charged by $39 because I did not cancel a subscription in time. First of all I did not know about it and second of all I think this a way how to get ripped off by somebody who does not provide a proper informations and make money at expense of unaware customers.
fraudulent charges
On February 27th, 2015 I used this website called livecareer.com to help me create a quick resume. This was supposed to be a 0.95 one-time charge, but it automatically keeps charging me $40 per month for the following four months (from March to June) without any authorization, totally $165, 97!!! The fee is listed towards the bottom of the page, and when...

I trid this service and used it for a couple of momths. I was OK with making the payments, but then I got a good job and no longer wanted to keep the service. I have tried for over three months to cancel my account. I have emailed and even called them directly. Each time they assure me that my account is closed, but each month they continue to bill me $39.80. And now again, today I see they are charging my debit card $39.80.

beware of bait and switch ploy to steal your money
I used Live Career to create a resume. At the end of the session, I was charged $1.95 or so for the resume...I made the mistake of using my credit card. My stupidity resulted in Live Career taking it upon themselves to charge my credit card 39.95 for two months before I noticed what they were doing. When I called to tell them that I had not authorized these charges they basically told me too bad. The best they could do for me was to cancel the subscription and pro-rate the rest of the month. When I explained that I had not authorized or used the service, the representative was still unable to refund the unauthorized charges. Never use this company...these bottom feeders are praying on people who are out of work, people that are least able to absorb these fraudulent charges.

credit card scam
This Company is a total Scam!
They charge my card 38. 90 three different times
I called after 5 days to cancel and was told I'm NOT in the system
I gave them customer number and they still Allegedly could not find my account, yet charged my account for 3 months
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!
If this happens to you, call your bank immediately, dispute the charges and cancel your card
Hope this helps!
unauthorized charges for 2 months to my credit card
I used the system one time and charged 2 times for the only time I used the services. I was not satisfied with the resume due information I entered and not included in my final product. Then I checked my checking account and I have been charged approximately $36.00 monthly. I contacted the company and find out that I was supposed to terminate their services in 14 days. Even though I did not use their services in 2 months and they confirmed what I said, the charges will remain. Please be aware of these scam services

charges after account cancelled
This was supposed to be a .99 charge one time to help build a resume. AFter that charge I cancelled my account to ensure no further charges would take place. For 3 months after I cancelled they still continued to take 35.80 out of my account. Then when i called to complain, emailed them, or called them they told me i didn't have an account at all. 3 months later i finally got someone to tell me that i never actually cancelled my account and those charges were authorized. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

fraudulent charges - cancellation
LiveCareer is a scamming website. They advertise signing up to create a resume to people who have signed up for unemployment online for $1.95. After that they charge you $39.99 a month. I signed up to create a resume and never actually used it as I found an old template on my computer. 6 months later I notice they charged $250~ dollars to my account and their website will not allow you to cancel! If you click on my profile, cancel account, it tells you that you have an active subscription and you need to cancel that first, and then it loops you back to the purchase another subscription page hoping to take advantage of you again. I called in and sent them an email with my information and decision to cancel and nothing was done. I replied online to their help now chat and am awaiting a "Confirmation Email" as they "do not have a Cancellation Number" to provide. Upon further research online, this is a recurring theme to many people who have been forced to seek an alternate place of employment. Due to the current economic status of this country, hooking good people in during hard times and secretly stealing their money should be punishable to the highest offense. So I have contacted the FBI.

Two months ago I created an account even though I realized the bait and switch, advertises a free resume but once it was created they ask for a credit card. Sadly, I had put so much time into creating the resume that I went ahead and entered my credit card because I was desperate to get my resumes printed. I realize that was my decision, however; 3 weeks ago I logged in and cancelled my subscription after realizing my card was charged $39.95; it was my fault that I forgot to cancel my subscription before being charged. Yesterday, my card was charged AGAIN! So I called the company, which wasn't easy since there is NO phone number on the home page of their website and when you click "Contact us" nothing happens. I only found a phone number after googling "Live Career phone number" and it led me to this message board! Anyway, the man I talked to barely spoke English, I had to spell my name 3 times, then he told me I had an active subscription and it was never cancelled. I argued with him for a few minutes and he kept saying I must have used the wrong email address. Even if that were true, and its not, what does that have to do with cancelling my subscription? As I was talking to him I was trying to log on to my account and I couldn't access my resume without entering a credit card but he said he was logging in too and could get in just fine...LIAR! I will never use this site again and will be telling everyone I know!
I just bought some resume for 5 or 6 dollars.
Then they began to charge me monthly since march something like 50 dollars per month.
I had to cancell my credit card.
I just realised today, that i have more than 250dollars.
Does anyone knows if there is any way to get back the money?
I signed up with this website about a month ago thinking it was trial. I didn't get any messages because I needed resumes for job interviews. I found it affordable but, but somewhere in the terms and conditions there is a provision that if you don't cancel they will start to charge you $34.95 a month! And, they stole my $34.95. I've tried lots of ways to complain them but they didn't even answer me. They're crazy people.
I want my money back. Bunch of bulls.
How come they don't show any warning signs on the site? So, what do I have to do?
I can't contact them via live chat or emails.
With the modern culture of agree to many terms and conditions a day for software and online payments etc, it is unfair of them to slip in the auto renewal and then claim to have disclosed it. If indeed they are an above board company and care about ethics... why have they not adjusted their sign in process to avoid all the incredible unhappiness they are creating.
A simple tick box allowing people to select the option of auto renewal would be much more honest and provide the same option. Why not do it?... because they wouldn't make the same kind of money they are now making by conning people, that's why.
There is not one single good review or post about this product... only countless complaints and bad posts.
HOPE they CAN SLEEP AT NIGHT AND SHAME ON them.
Let me rewrite what you just said...
I was too lazy to read the online terms and conditions so they started charging me for the service that they provided.
Now I did research on the company and I do not like them so I am going to claim that they have no food reviews. I only hope that others do not check this fact because they actually do have good reviews by people that read the terms and conditions first.
TRUE FACT: "The only bad reviews are from people like you that do not read first"
semi-hidden auto renewal
Automatic $40 monthly fee requirement is buried in a previous screen when paying for what looks to be a one-time charge. The fee is listed towards the bottom of the page, and when actually entering credit card info, there is no mention of the automatic charge that will be debited every four weeks. The monthly fee should be clearly listed on the final payment page. Clearly "let the buyer beware" should be foremost in your mind with this company. Their intentional lack of clarity is dishonest. Don't give them your business!

fraudulent charges
On April 21, 2015 I used the website called live career.com to help me create a quick resume. I agreed to pay .95 I was under pressure to get this resume done and ran through everything as quick as possible. The today while I was looking at my credit card statement i noticed 2 charges of $39.80 from this company. I thought Oh no problem, I'll just contact them and explain that this was unauthorized and they would credit my card. But when I contacted them, that was not the case. They did not care and state that they are authorized for these charges and although they will cancel my "subscription" but would not credit me anything! This resume for a short summer job has cost me $80.55! That is almost one full day of work!

cancelled and still being charged
I have had my subscription cancelled on March 12, 2015, but my visa card record shown me that i have been charged on April 05, 2015 and May 03, 2015. I tried to delete my account. It said that i have an active subscription that needed to be cancelled first, after i clicked continue and they asked my billing info again. Which meant even i cancelled my subscription but its still active. I tried to use LiveHelp on Livecareer.com but no one answered. i have cancelled my I also send email to [protected]@livecareer.com. No one was there for helping in the past 48 hours. This is a scam.

benito o.
I just got charged about $40 for livecareers monthly service... I used their service once to build my resume and their charge of $4.95 was a little steep to start with! Now they're charging me monthly when I never subscribed for monthly service. Such a scam.
I demand a refund livecareer. They charged me today, 4/25/15, so this charge should be reversed by the end of the day or I will be very dicontent.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
My girlfriend and I ordered a pizza from the Benito's in Ypsilanti. The pizza came 20 minutes late, was cold, and even though I ordered extra cheese and extra sauce, I got neither. Also too, I ordered a side of sauce that I did not get as well. This is not the first time I did not get what I ordered, and payed for, from the Benito's on Huron Street in Ypsilanti! But this was the last straw. I will not order another item from any Benito's. I also plan to share my experience with all my friends! What a sad way to run a business. You would think that taking care of regular customers would be a priority for any establishment.
My e-mail address is: majoroppressor@yahoo.com
I offer my e-mail address only because I am curious to see what the Benito's corporate response will be a legitimate complaint.
