Lockheed Martin HR team at Havant

I was recently offered the job as senior hr assistant to start after my holiday around September. I signed the offer of employment form on 5th July with the Manpower HR contracts manager Vivien Bell. Then having told everyone I had accepted a job offer-friends ,family, on Tuesday, I was then informed the offer was withdrawn. It was explained via email that the Hr team had a restructuring and because they were going to have a busy Summer they were going to select someone from already within the team. Which sounds very cost effective for them, except this is terribly bad practise to the person they were going to hire.

My husband is Egyptian and am concerned that my offer of employment was withdrawn out of associative discrimination. The offer of employment was given on Friday 5th July and withdrawn by email on Tuesday 11th July. Before any references were taken or any security checks undertaken, and they suddenly need to restructure? They don`t work a Friday, when I signed the offer of employment, so am I to believe the restructuring was decided on Monday before Tuesday`s withdrawal ?This is utterly ridiculous, that I was rushed into this job for a second time and that there was no job for me as an external applicant in the first place? Do they enjoy wasting peoples time, money and effort?

Surely more sensibly, the HR team had looked over the fact that I am married to an Egyptian man, understood that the security checks would take longer and then discriminated against me, given the suddenly huge Summer workload .This is so unfair. I have done everything asked of me, from interview, to signing of forms. Additionally I have had security checks done before in my previous work. .and was employed!

I was told the HR manager Marie asked for me enthusiastically by name, after I was turned down initially after interview, the other candidate let them down so I was to be given the job. I was then told that they needed my forms in very quickly so they could start my training -so I completed and gave them as quickly as I possibly could, stopping my work, my search for other work and turning down interviews.

If this wasn`t done through agency this would have been breach of contract! My conditional job offer was conditional on references and security checks neither of which had been taken or requested for. The reason the job was withdrawn was because they needed someone in quickly, and up to speed on the systems, this was not conditional to my job offer!

I would like to be acknowledged for the discomfort and upset this has caused my family and I, after all ,all I was trying to do was find work. I have jumped over all the hoops to get the job ,to get it and then be told in the space of a week with all the current cost of living climate the world is currently going through, it`s been withdrawn- is just ...well cruel.

Vic Kingston

Desired outcome: Discussion about compensation- associative discrimination has taken place ,and through no fault of my own I have been given employment and had it withdrawn within a week because I can`t get through security clearance quick enough!

Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems

Out of all honesty, it seem that the multi million dollar integrated systems that Lockheed Martin sells to police produce result to criminal indemnity. Police follow the inaccurate results that many times lead to false arrest or other infractions.. Since I have worked for their competition it would almost seem obvious. Lockheed must have vendettas to people who suffer from inaccurate results of their junk. Waste of taxpayer money.

Lockheed Martin hr contact - customer service skills/attitude

My son graduates in May with a bachelors degree in computer engineering from Georgia Tech. He had applied for a Computer Software (C++) -position with Lockheed - Orlando location. He responded to an email regarding the position (which I encouraged). He was contacted by a Mr. King (John King maybe) from your Pennsylvania office today. Mr King said his supervisor had requested that he contact the GT job applicants. I'm not sure if Mr. King has a problem with all GT applicants or just my son, but for about 20-30 minutes all Mr. King did was chastise my son about his resume - it was too short - not detailed enough etc. I'm sure there's always room for improvement; however, I know that my son has participated in several resume workshops at GT and has had several GT faculty & staff review his resume. He only followed guidelines & feedback that was provided by his university. If Mr. King didn't think my son was worth contacting due to his terrible resume why did he call him? Thank goodness there's other companies with a different opinion. I've never heard anything negative about your company, but after today's experience I would say that a weak area is definitely customer service skills.

Thank you for taking the time to read my personnel complaint.

Lockheed Martin state street retiree services

After my mother passed away they have been by far the most difficult to deal with. All I was requesting was her 1099-R be mailed to me. I called in March and was told no problem, 5-7 business days. After about two weeks I called back and was told it takes 5-7 business days for them to mail it out, and another 5-7 business days to receive it. That I should get it by April 16th (one day after taxes are due), A full month to get a 1099-R? They didn't seem interested in my problem. The 16th rolls along, still no document. Got the same woman who told me it'd be a month and explained to her I haven't gotten it yet, she said it was returned to them, I don't know why I get lots of mail for my deceased Mom, she said she would mail out another one. I was trying to ask the question what if that don't come, and she cut me off. When I got frustrated about not being able to ask my question, she hung up on me! Called back got a gentleman, who didn't see were the form was returned to them. He mailed out another, but gave me the information to finish her taxes. He was helpful, but what a mess. Rude people, difficult menus, poor services, being hung up on. Honestly, its very stressful to get your deceased relatives paperwork in order but these people don't care. We'll see if the document ever actually comes. But I won't be calling back these people are awful.

Lockheed Martin legacy missile systems

I was working on a legacy missle system in Florida... and there was some asian-chinese-looking guy with an accent sitting in a secured area working on electronics for a missile. So it wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Chinese have an exact clone of every legacy missile system in the US. Then, I walked out into the main plant... and it looked like they had wipro or tata consultancy or some other indian outsourcing-contracting company working on testing some engineering device that they needed a camper van to drive around in.. and this was a facility where you need an essort if you don't have a secret clearence. Personly, i Wouldn't hire India outsouring anything if you don't want your code base stolen. that's what those people do is run around from company to company minding their code and transfering it to other companies that they prefer more than american run companies. It wouldn't surpise me if the people from india have a clone of legacy US missle systems also. Maybe the Chinese and Indians help each other out in "stealing" the plans for any weapons system they can get into. Just my feeling. I wouldn't consider it safe to have any of these people working on anything inside of a missle design facility. I have to put quotes around "stealing" because these are not the best weapons systems... but still... as long as they explode and kill people they are information that should be guarded in my opinion.

Lockheed Martin whistle blowing

I filed a complaint against two Lockheed workers for sleeping on the job and was put on Administrative leave and told I had to turn over my medical records and take a Mental exam. I was threatened by one of the workers and the other who was site lead made up stories about me having a multiple personality disorder. I passed the Mental test to get the job and received the highest assessment for my work. But I made the mistake of being a whistle blower.

After two years of very reasonable low prices, why would you raise your prices starting in January 2009 to $204.00 one way.
This flight would be from Gulfport to Sanford, Fl.

Several customers of yours in my company also stated that they will not pay that high price, especially when your airlines prided yoursefves of low prices.

If this is the case, it was nice flying Allegiant Airlines, but no more at that high price

Lockheed Martin lockheed martin sippican: company or psych ward?

I think something needs to be done about the situation at Lockheed Martin Sippican. A member of my family was on the receiving end of terrorist threats and death threats due to the psychotic actions of an employee at Lockheed Martin Sippican. Isn't this "company" a government contractor? Their website proclaims they create "countermeasure systems for electronic warfare." If this is a government contractor, why are my taxpayers' dollars being used for Sippican to pay a salary to an employee who makes terrorist threats against a member of my family? It's probable that some of these threats were even written on Sippican's computers. The management of this company clearly does not know what is going on there and even more clearly doesn't do a single thing to monitor its employees' activities. But they should. I don't like paying taxes that support such an incompetent organization and one that hires such a sick woman, no questions asked, then puts her in a position of responsibility, and in a company that creates warfare material, no less. At the very least Sippican is going to be sued.
