LoopNet LoopNet Review: Beware of Sneaky Practices and Hidden Fees!

So, I thought I'd give LoopNet a shot when I had a listing to sell. Signed up for a one-year deal and put my property up on their website. And hey, it sold in just 3 months! I was psyched to update the status to "sold" on the site and bask in my success. But then, what do I discover? LoopNet went ahead and removed it from their pages without even asking me first! I mean, come on. Even after a property has sold, you'd think there'd still be some benefit to having it up there for some time. But nope, they took it down and didn't even tell me.

So, here I am, thinking "Well, at least I won't be charged anymore since it's all sold and done." But oh boy, was I wrong. LoopNet doesn't care if your listing is gone, and they sure don't care if you're still paying up after the fact. They kept on charging me $99 a month, even though I had nothing to sell anymore. What kind of scam is that? If I had known that beforehand, I might have thought twice about signing up for their "service".

I wouldn't even mind if they charged me for my sold listing, since that's what I started with. But paying every month for nothing? That's just bananas. I don't think they ever mentioned in their terms and conditions that they could do whatever they want with your listing and still keep charging you for the full year contract. That's just sneaky, and I don't appreciate it.

Overall, I'm not impressed with LoopNet's practices. If you're considering using them, just beware that they might not treat you right and you might end up paying for nothing.

LoopNet LoopNet.com Review: A Frustrating and Time-Wasting Experience!

So, here's my experience with LoopNet (loopnet.com) and let me tell you, it was a frustrating and time-wasting one. They lure you in by offering a free FSBO (For Sale By Owner) listing on Costar.com, and after you've spent hours creating the listing, they hit you with the news that Costar.com is only for commercial properties, not residential ones. Like, seriously, why did they even give us residential drop-down menus and options if they weren't going to post residential properties for sale?!

And here's the worst part – now they refer you back to LoopNet.com to post your listing there, but it's not for free. You have to sign up for a monthly subscription. Talk about being a sneaky business! They define the nature of their business perfectly – guide you in loops and force you to subscribe.

To sum it all up, LoopNet.com are nothing but scammers and liars. Don't waste your time and energy on them unless you have money to spare for a subscription.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Mediocre Results & Dishonest Billing Practices. Save Your Money

Alright, folks. So, let me tell you about my experience using LoopNet. I listed a commercial property for sale on their website on June 1st and surprisingly managed to sell it through my local MLS in just 21 days. However, the leads I got from LoopNet were, let's say, not the best. None of them turned out to be qualified buyers.

Now, here's where things get frustrating. I only signed up for a 3-month marketing plan with LoopNet, as that was the shortest period offered. When I spoke to their customer service rep, they assured me that I wouldn't be billed after the three months. But guess what? They're still charging me for a whopping 5 months. And even after I complained, they've only agreed to cancel my service effective December 1, 2021. You do the math - they're essentially trying to steal 4 additional months of payments from me.

Honestly, I'm beyond disappointed with LoopNet. The results I got from their website were mediocre at best, and now they're proving to be dishonest and unreliable when it comes to billing and customer service. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone - save your money and look for better options out there. Terry Sullivan, Broker at RE/MAX out.

LoopNet LoopNet Charged My Account for Ad That Failed - No Refund in Sight

So, I'm gonna be real with y'all here. I tried to get an ad up on LoopNet's website back in April of 2022 - just trying to promote my little business, ya know? But the dang site was having a hard time and eventually ended up timing out. No big deal, I thought. Little did I know that those slick LoopNet folks had been drafting money from my account for FIVE WHOLE MONTHS without so much as an email confirmation or anything. What the heck, right?

After finally discovering what was going on, I picked up the phone and gave 'em a call. This dude on the other end, he was alright. He told me he'd refund my money and cancel whatever they had going on with my account. But I was like, "wait a minute, I never even signed up for anything!" So I asked for some proof of all this. It's been long enough now that I really should have gotten some sort of confirmation or receipt or whatever. But nope, nothing. Crickets.

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with all this. Why does it seem like every day there's another business or company out there trying to squeeze every last penny they can out of regular folks just trying to get by? It seems like nobody's got any pride in their work anymore.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Auto-Renewal Scam, Disappointing Service and No Communication

Okay, so I gotta rant a bit about LoopNet. I shelled out over $3000 in hopes of getting some sweet benefits from their service, but nada. I signed up for a three-month subscription that auto-renewed every quarter for more than two years, and my credit card was charged a whopping $104 each month. I thought it would be no big deal since I was expecting to receive some sort of amazing service from LoopNet, but boy was I wrong!

Being the responsible person that I am, I called to cancel before it auto-renewed for a third time. The person on the other end of the line said that everything would be taken care of, but guess what? They still kept charging my card! Honestly, I can't believe that companies still do this sort of thing. Every other company that I've signed up for, that has an auto-renewal clause, sends out monthly receipts and emails or notifications as a reminder that your contract is renewing. But for LoopNet, it seems like their plan is to trick people into forgetting about the recurring charge.

My advice to those who are thinking of using LoopNet: document everything, keep track of every conversation, and make sure that you get email confirmations for any changes made over the phone. In the end, I was really disappointed with my experience with LoopNet, and I hope that they'll make the necessary changes to ensure that their clients don't get swindled again.

LoopNet Beware of LoopNet's Auto-Renewal Scam: A Broker's Warning

Okay, let me tell you about my experience with LoopNet. So I posted a listing on their site, right? And then those jokers went ahead and auto-renewed my listing without even asking me first! They're still charging my credit card, too, even though my property has already been sold via MLS. That's straight-up fraud, if you ask me.

If you're a broker and you're thinking about signing up for their auto-pay service, let me tell you: don't do it. These guys will take advantage of you, and getting out of your "subscription" is gonna be next to impossible. I'm not even kidding - I've been trying to cancel for months now, and they just won't let me go.

I mean, I get it - they're a business and they want to make money. But come on, LoopNet, have a heart! I've been advertising with you for over two years now. I fulfilled my initial contract after one year, and yet they still claim that I'm set to "AUTO-RENEW" every year. That's just ridiculous. They keep charging me for a listing that's been sold and a service that I don't even want anymore.

But you know what? I decided to get a little revenge. Since these PoopNet people want to keep billing me, I uploaded a picture of a toilet as my main listing photo. I hope they enjoy it!

In all seriousness, though, it's really frustrating dealing with a company like LoopNet. If you're thinking of working with them, just be careful. Make sure you read the fine print and don't get sucked into any auto-pay schemes. And if you do end up getting stuck in one, good luck getting out!

LoopNet LoopNet: A Rip-off for Commercial Property Listings - My Experience

So, lemme tell you about my experience with LoopNet, ya know, the commercial real estate listing website. I had two dang listings on there, one was for a space for lease and the other was for a piece of land I was tryna sell. I had to dish out $231 a month for both of 'em, but dang I was hopeful I'd get some hot leads from those listings.

Then, something awesome happened and I leased out my space! I was like, "heck yeah, let me cancel that listing so I can save some dough and only pay for the land listing." So I called 'em up, told 'em I wanted to cancel the space listing and expected to only pay $118.50 from then on.

But oh was I wrong, my friend. Fast forward to freakin' April 19th, 2022, and I find out that LoopNet has been charging me the $231 this whole dang time, even though I cancelled one of my listings! When I called to figure out how they could do that to me, they straight up told me that I never cancelled my SUBSCIPTION. And now, I've been gettin' charged $231 a month for no listings.

Ya'll need to steer clear of these dang crooks, they ain't worth your time or money.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Sketchy Practices and Ridiculous Fees

So I recently decided to give LoopNet a try when I was on the hunt for a new piece of property. At first, I was pretty impressed - they had so many listings available and it seemed like the perfect place to find what I was looking for.

But then, as soon as I signed up for a free account, I started noticing some sketchy things going on. Suddenly, almost all of the listings on the site had a little lockbox symbol on them, which meant I would have to pay to see the full details. What the heck?

And then, when I decided to list a property of my own on the site, things got even more ridiculous. They told me it would be a free listing, but as soon as I added it, the only way to get anyone to actually see it was to pay over three grand. Like, seriously?

I was pretty fed up with LoopNet at this point, but I decided to give them a call and see if I could work something out. The guy I talked to, Jon, spent almost forty minutes trying to sell me on their ridiculous prices before finally offering me a three-month listing for more than $200. When I asked him to send the details to me in writing, he told me it was a "commission" offer that wasn't available anywhere else. What a load of crap.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if anyone besides me has ever seen my listing on LoopNet. They keep claiming that they get all these views and that they have a huge audience, but I'm starting to think that's just a bunch of baloney. Maybe I represent the entire two percent of people who have actually checked out their site.

Overall, I'm not too thrilled with LoopNet. It seems like they're more interested in ripping people off than actually helping them find the properties they need. Save yourself the trouble and look somewhere else.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: A Company Designed to Swindle Customers with Hostile Billing Practices

Man, if I had to describe LoopNet in one word it would be "mugging." Seriously, dealing with them is like getting robbed blind.

Listen, I hate to rag on their customer service reps because they're usually pretty nice. You can tell they feel bad for the unfortunate souls who are stuck with LoopNet. But the company's policies are designed to take advantage of their customers - it's straight-up swindling.

Let me give you an example: if you try to dispute a charge on your credit card, they will unleash the wrath of their legal team on you and your poor credit card company. Imagine having to deal with that crap just because you're trying to contest a shady charge.

And if you think you can cancel your subscription willy-nilly, nope. Miss the cutoff point by a second and you're stuck paying $5,000-$6,000 a year, no way to back out, no way to fight back.

LoopNet used to be a decent company with reasonable prices. But since they got acquired by CoStar, their billing practices have become downright hostile. I can't even bring myself to consider using CoStar's services after the nightmare my company and I went through with LoopNet.

Honestly, I don't know much about CoStar - they could be just as bad for all I know. But one thing's for sure: LoopNet is the worst real estate and web company any of us have ever dealt with. Stay away, folks. Save yourself the headache.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Frustrating Experience Selling Small Business, Not Ideal for Business Listings

Hey, so I wanted to share my experience with LoopNet because it was kind of a rollercoaster. I'm a small business owner and I thought it would be a good idea to advertise my business for sale on their website. It was a little tricky to navigate the listing process, plus you have to talk to an advisor before your listing goes live. During the call, my husband and I were offered an upgrade but we decided to stick with the basic package.

As soon as our listing was up, we started getting calls from CoStar, who apparently is LoopNet's sister company. They told us that LoopNet was mostly for property and we should list on CoStar if we really wanted to sell our business. I was a little annoyed because they didn't mention anything about this during the upgrade call. CoStar called us three times a month for the next few months, which was pretty annoying.

To be honest, our listing on LoopNet wasn't getting a ton of traffic and I wasn't all that impressed with it. The advisor had told us that it would be a great place to sell our business, but that didn't seem to be the case. Eventually, I decided to cancel the listing but I was in for a surprise. I thought I had signed up for a month-to-month plan, but it turned out to be a yearly plan, which wasn't what I wanted.

I emailed them to see if they could let me out of the contract, but they said they only offered quarterly or yearly subscriptions. I asked if I could at least downgrade to quarterly and pay the difference, but they weren't willing to budge. It was frustrating because I felt like they were happy to take my money, even though they knew I was selling my business and not just the land. Plus, they never told me that LoopNet wasn't the ideal place to sell a business until it was too late.

Overall, I didn't have the best experience with LoopNet. The listing process was confusing, the website wasn't getting much traffic, and the customer service was a little lacking. I wouldn't recommend using them if you're trying to sell a business, but maybe they're better suited for property listings. Just make sure you read the fine print before signing up for anything!

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Buyer Beware - Misleading Pricing and Policies Avoid at All Costs

Honestly, feeling a little ripped off by LoopNet. I was just trying to add one listing for $200, and somehow I ended up on the quarterly plan for $190 a month. Like, seriously?! Of course, when I found out they were charging me for a second quarter, I tried to cancel. But apparently, according to the fine print, you can only cancel at the end of a quarter once it's started. Ugh.

So, I tried to call and get a refund, but that was a bust too. No effort to help make things right or anything. Now I'm stuck paying $190 a month for 6 months - when all I wanted was to add that one listing for a month. It's been rented out for five months already, so the whole thing was a waste of time and money.

Avoid LoopNet like the plague, folks. Save your money and sanity.

LoopNet Beware of LoopNet's Sales Tactics: They Care More About Your Money Than Your Business

So, I had some experience with LoopNet and I gotta say their sales people are super nice and make you feel real comfy. But, lemme tell ya, don't be fooled by their charm. They couldn't care less about you or your business. When it's time to cancel your contract, they put up a real fuss and try to lock you in for another whole year. It happened to me, brother, so this ain't no made-up tale.

I called 'em up way before my year was even up, four whole months beforehand, and asked about canceling. Not once did they mention anything about needing to send emails, texts, faxes, phone calls. But when I tried to cancel, they suddenly pull this "oh, but you needed to do all these extra steps" BS on me. Real slimy if you ask me.

Overall, if you're thinking about signing on with LoopNet, just be aware that they might try to trap you in a contract longer than you wanted. Don't let their sweet talkin' fool you, yo.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Beware of Hidden Fees and Inactive Listings

So, guys, let me tell you about my experience with LoopNet. To be honest, I'm not really a professional in the real estate field, so perhaps that's why I had a bit of trouble using this site.

I gotta say, I was pretty surprised when I found out that I had to constantly keep updating my listing every 75 days, or else it becomes "inactive". And what does "inactive" even mean? Basically, it means that no one will see your listing when they search for properties. But get this, just because it's inactive doesn't mean they stop charging you!

To be real with y'all, I had no idea about this, and that's probably why I had no activity or inquiries for over 15 months. On top of that, they kept auto-renewing my "listing" without even listing it! Like, what kind of shady business is that?

Look, unless you're a real estate pro who can keep on top of regularly updating your account, I would suggest avoiding LoopNet. Trust me, guys, it's not worth the headache.

LoopNet Beware of LoopNet Scams: My Personal Experience with their Deceitful Services

Hey, let me start by sharing my personal experience with LoopNet. I once called them up to cancel some listing services that I was using, and the representative on the other end informed me that it was all taken care of. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that I won't have to pay any more charges.

But dang it! Three months down the lane, I still noticed that they were withdrawing money from my account. And that too, illegally! I was furious and decided to reach out to my account representative to complain. The representative listened to my complaint and apologized for the 'error' (more like scam if you ask me!). But then again I received a call back from one of the managers, who told me that there would be no refund. Imagine the audacity!

Apparently, they had heard the recording of our conversation, and according to them, I hadn't mentioned anything about cancelling the services. All lies! I had a colleague sitting next to me at the time when I made the call, and she remembers our entire conversation.

Honestly, I couldn't believe that such a big and well-known company like LoopNet would stoop so low just to make some extra bucks. I feel like they're nothing but a bunch of scammers, preying on innocent people like us.

In the end, I decided to close my account with LoopNet, and I advise you to do the same. Don't fall prey to their lies, and don't let them fool you into giving them your hard-earned money.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Poor Customer Service and Billing Issues

Oh man, let me tell you, my experience with LoopNet was pretty rough. I had to cancel my membership and I spoke to a manager about it. They told me it would be taken care of and I'd get an email confirmation and all that jazz. But NOPE, turns out they never actually cancelled it and I got billed again. I was so pissed off, I called them back up and they told me that the original manager I spoke to couldn't even cancel my membership in the first place! What a load of crap.

Apparently, I could still cancel but I'd still be getting charged for the next 6 months. Ugh, what a pain. And to top it off, the new manager I talked to couldn't have cared less about how unhappy I was with their service. She didn't care if I stayed or left, just wanted to get me off the phone as quickly as possible. Needless to say, I definitely won't be using LoopNet again. Stay away, folks.

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Beware of Their Auto-Renewal Scam!

Oh, boy! Let me tell you about my experience with LoopNet. I was trying to lease a small space and thought I hit the jackpot when I stumbled upon their website. But let me just say, buyer beware!

I had listed my space for lease on their website but ended up having to cancel it on Oct 8th. And what do you know? I get billed another $118 today (Nov 2) even though the listing is no longer active. I was livid! So, I called them up to complain, and all the person on the other end could say was "it auto renews quarterly."

What kind of scam is this? Apparently, if you miss the first day of the next quarter, which was Sept 1st, you're automatically committed to the next three months. Even if you cancel on Sept 2nd! It's absolutely ridiculous!

I can't believe they expect people to pay for a service that they're not even using anymore. It's an absolute joke. So, my advice to you, dear reader, is don't do it! Go elsewhere!

LoopNet may seem like a promising option, but you're better off searching elsewhere for a more honest and fair deal. Save yourself the trouble and avoid LoopNet at all costs!

LoopNet LoopNet Review: Detailed Property Specs, Pushy Reps, and How I Updated My Listing Straight Up

I gotta tell you guys about using LoopNet for checking out properties. Okay, so I was looking at this spot and got all the deets I needed about it. The listing was so thorough - had specs on the property and the best ways to make use of the buildings. Plus, I even got some info about what was going down there currently.
Eventually, these reps from LoopNet started ringing me up, pressing me to make some updates. They couldn't get the memo that the listing was already top notch and precise. Got me feeling like why even bother to ask for updates when nothing has changed. Then, when I stopped taking their calls (who has the time for that?), they go and block my listing! The audacity, right?
Anyway, I didn't need those LoopNet dudes to keep things fresh. Just updated the listing straight up on their site. No need to deal with any of their haughty reps.
This was for 602 Crain Hwy S. Glen Burnie, MD, by the way.

LoopNet Disappointing Experience with LoopNet: Zero Stars - Don't Waste Your Time

Yo, so I've been using LoopNet for over a year now, and let me tell you, I ain't seen no real results. I mean, I got a few so-called recommendations from the salespeople, but they didn't help me none. They just talked a good game. And don't get me started on the product - it totally let me down. I was hoping for way more leads than I got, but in the end I didn't get any. And to make matters worse, when I tried to cancel my subscription, I wasn't given no instructions on how to do it. With my busy life, I just didn't follow up, and they kept on charging me. It wasn't until months later that the rep finally had the courtesy to tell me what to do. Seems like all they care about is the payment, not the customer. I give 'em a big fat zero star rating. Don't waste your time with this company, folks.

LoopNet Beware of LoopNet: Unethical Business Practices & Endless Harassment for Payment

Listen up, folks! If you're thinking about giving LoopNet a shot, be careful because they're not playing by the rules. I shelled out some dough for their services in 2020, but when it came time to renew in 2021, I told them I was done. Despite my clear statement, LoopNet kept pestering me for more money – like, what the heck, dudes?

Eventually, I had to bring in the big guns and call up the Attorney General's Office of Florida to get these chumps off my back. Let me tell you, it was a big ol' headache that I didn't need. So trust me when I say, save yourself some stress and steer clear of LoopNet.

There are other companies out there that do the same thing, but without the underhanded tactics. And the best part? They'll let you advertise on a month-to-month basis, which means you can switch things up if you're not getting the results you're looking for. So why tie yourself down to an annual contract just to get harassed once it's up? Stick with a company that treats their customers right – and make sure LoopNet knows they're not the only game in town.

LoopNet LoopNet's Shady Business Practices and Frustrating Cancellation Policy: A Review

So, I recently had a pretty frustrating experience with LoopNet. I was just minding my own business, checking out some properties on their website, when I got an email saying my account had been cancelled. What the heck, right?! I immediately tried to contact them to find out what the issue was and why they'd cancelled my account without warning.

But, let me tell you, trying to get anyone on the phone at LoopNet is like pulling teeth. I called them multiple times over the course of 45 days and all they ever said was "we'll look into it and call you back". Did they ever call me back? NOPE. Not once. Eventually I had to escalate the issue to a manager, who also never bothered to call me back.

In the end, they wouldn't undo the cancellation and now they want me to pay 4x the original price to restart my account. Ugh, what a bunch of scammers. Even one of their former employees who used to deal with me admitted that LoopNet has some shady business practices.

Apparently, everything went downhill after they were bought out by Costar. They lost a lot of great tools and features that made them really useful, plus their reps aren't as helpful as they used to be. And now they're just jerking people around with this ridiculous cancellation policy. I'm so over it. It's not worth the frustration.

So, if you're thinking about using LoopNet, I would suggest you steer clear and find a more reliable platform to search for properties. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of headaches in the long run.
