I bought a Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy 30 on July 19th, 2010 totalling $745.89 dollars. I gave them $300.00 in cash, and my credit card for $445.89 dollars. Unfortunately, the bag has a slight damage in lieu of when closing the zipper it dented the handles already. So I had returned the merchandise the same day . I have the reciept of being credited for it. Then I called my credit card in a week to find out that they had not credited my credit cards for the amount of $445.89 dollars. I called and spoke to the Manager named Russ and he adamantly said it is going to be credited. Because, as I told him I had openned a dispute on my behalf . I trusted the manager, but now the problem is when I stop the dispute Louis Vuitton did not gave my credit back. As I now, is missing $445.89 dollars on my credit account. According, to my credit it is between me and the Louis Vuitton . This is really ridiculous! I had called them again, and the manager won't even talk to me at all! All they ask is my phone number and will get back to me! WTF? is going on? This is beyond bad customer service! This is like ROBBERY! THEY HAVE THEIR MERCHANDISE AND I DON'T GET MY CREDIT BACK! Marc Jacobs channeled the fifties era in his Fall 2010 Louis Vuitton show and the models wore corseted full skirted dresses accessorized with high ponytails, chunky heeled pumps adorned with flat bows and a slew of structured handbags.
This Louis Vuitton show provided a amazing backdrop to display the bags. This season, it’s a zillion mignonne reinterpretations of the classic Speedy. Here, that functional shape, designed in the 1930’s, came flocked and sequined, smothered in guipure lace over satin, or woven in metallic thread and done up in fox.

Louis Vuitton bags carry poor quality and worst customer service I ever experienced with a luxury merchandise retailer!
In April 2010 I bought a brown LV bag over $1000 from Westfield Mall San Jose CA. In June I noticed the top edge of leather trim is starting peeling off. On June 12 2010 I took it back to the same store I bought it. I waited over 30 minutes alone to finally speak to one of managers Danielle. She looked at the bag and told me that the bag was not defective and it was the way I wear the bag (my body rubbing the bag) and caused the peeling. She also said the bag was not made from steel. She said the natual leather is fragile and should be taking good care of (? I guess to take a good care of is to put on the shelf and do not use it?). I told her how could I caused the peeling as I totally wear the bag just for two weeks because I exchang bags from week to week. I also told her that I have all the designer bags and none of them have the problem within months after I purchased and used it. she did not listen. She said she could send another manager for a different opinion. I said OK. Then I was left alone for another 30 minutes. Another lady manager Neu (asian?) came and inspected the bag. She said the same thing. No matter how I explained it, they just said it was not a defective merchandise. They did not offer repair even I asked for it. Their attitudes were careless and rude. Of course they felt uncomfortable while I was standing there alone as other customers passed by me and eyed on my bag. They told me good luck. The two managers also told me to lower the voice and be quiet. How funny! Since I was going no where with them, I left the store and called the corporate office. A lady called Jusin (?) told me to take the bag to Palo Alto or San Francisco for another inspection. My godness. It must be kidding! I have to make another trip, wait for a manager to inspect the bag, take picture, send it in to determine it was the merchandise problem or reject me again!
LV bags are supported by a lot of asian people. Somehow asian clients are the royal clients to them. However, from now on, I will NOT buy any LV products at all! I don't like the way they treat customers: rude and ignoant and take no responsibility. It also the poor quality of the bag that no employees seem to care to solve the issue. I own many top designer bags and none of them like LV bag worn out that quickly. Frankly I use them very carefully and the bags look almost new every time I take out from the dust bag. I put the clean bags in the own dust bags and put them in the dark closet on the floor. Any how I will be calling my credit card company to get it involved ASAP. I am just tired to be ripped off by big corporation who just want the money but no responsibility!

yes I do own leather coat, leather pants, leather skit, top designer leather bags from all the designer names you mostly could think of. I do clean them and take care of them. However I never ran into problem that a brand new bags only wear 1-2 hours here and there and started peeling on the edge of the leather trim just days after I bought it. 99% of leather goods I have no complaints at all!
I do believe the quality of LV bag that I purchased is poor! My credit card company also agrees with me too!

I second what Mina posted. I was treated poorly by Louis Vuitton when I complained about my purchase too. I bought a small purse from LV boutique in Neiman Marcus at Tyson corner in November 2013. I kept it in its box until we went to Florida for Christmas. The 1st day I took it out to carry, I noticed a strong unpleasant smell inside the bag. I thought the small would go away pretty soon, so I put my belongings in it and took off! We came back from the restaurant in 2-3 hours. I opened the purse to take my stuff out, good Lord! Everything in the purse smelt like dead fish even my cellphone. I took it back to their store, and told the whole story to their sale person. Surprisingly, she replied:" well, we all have different sense of smell" ! I said it smells like dead fish to anyone I showed this! I she said that she needs the dust bag, and went to the back! With a new purse she came back, and asked me if I wanted to exchange. I said yes, and asked if they had smelt the bag. She replied very arrogantly : " we did not, but that's ok!"
No apology for the smelly products or ruining my belongings in the purse, no nothing!
I sent an email to their customer which was remained unanswered!
I waited a month, and send another one claiming that it was my 2nd email regarding a purchase, and they finally got back to me with a lousy email blaming the " untreated leather handle" for the smell! While that fishy smell was from the lining not the strap! And the last time I checked leather is made of cow's skin, and has nothing to do with fish!
I believe we should boycott LV, and make them respect customers right!
Same thing happen to me, My boyfriend bought me this Damier Canvass pattern (brown checkered) LV bag for my birthday from Singapore, As soon as i opened it, I used it right away and went to the mall with excitement... When i got home, i placed the bag in the side table and stared at it.. then i noticed the peel in the left corner piping of the bag..
Then i informed my boyfriend about it, as usual he told me to let go, and he said to continue enjoying the bag, it did not affect the functionality of the bag anyway.
But still i can't accept the fact that it just arrived and used it just for hours, then it happen.. And i cant remember being so rough with it, i was just in the mall...So i emailed LV Singapore. They are kind enough to reply promptly, advised me to bring it to LV near my area, which is a plane ride away by the way... so i emailed them instead including the pictures and receipts... Hahaha after a month no reply, then i remembered i bought my LV Agenda from that branch and the SA gave me her card... to make the long story short.. the phone just keep on ringing! hahaha!
I am disgusted with the quality and customer service at Saks Fifth Avenue (Troy, Mi.) and Louis Vuitton (Somerset Troy, Mi). I purchased a Retiro Bag from Saks Fifth Avenue in Sept. 2012. I was wearing it and it began to drizzle rain, by the time I got home approx. an hour later, the purse had tiny rain spots on the lighter color of the bag. I took it back and explained my concerns regarding the spots and Saks Fifth Avenue said that was normal. They wouldn't do anything, not even exchange for a purse that would be more durable. I then noticed this purse I had spent $1, 700.00 was no longer a "so called" structured bag. it became a floppy mess that collapses because the zipper was not stitched correctly, therefore buckling has occurred. I now have a spotted floppy mess of a purse. I have spoke to a manager at Louis Vuitton (Troy, Mi) and the manager at Saks Fifth Avenue Troy, Mi.) to no avail. My last resort was to email Louis Vuitton. Please Louis Vuitton don't disappoint me. I have bought your product since I was 18 and now am 53. I have purchased purses, Belts, wallets, a check book cover, change purse. My $1, 700.00 purse is defective, this needs your attention.

Tried one in Westfield London - the staff had a chip on their shoulder and would not serve me, infact told me I was not allowed to stand where I was and had to move immediately, there where people to each side of me. This website claimed their Louis Vuitton items were genuine and authentic with of course much cheap price. In fact, the products they sale are only cheap/fake tatty replicas. When I found out the products are fake and ask for return, they refuse to refund me with excuse of having no quality problem with products. And forced me to keep the bag to give it away as a gift, I am not rich to do that. They said they were going to refund me of $200 USD and I only have to pay $100 USD for keeping the bag. Then when I decided to take a $200 USD refund deal they said they can only refund me $100 USD. Then I told Ms. Betty Lee and Mr. zhi Hao I will file a complaint to Better Business Bureau, Inc; if they do not refund me at all. I had to spent a tons of hours dealing with them so now they had contacted the online processor ECPSS who is responsible to collect the payment in behalf of this website. Mr. Zhi Hao told me I will get a refund with in 10-14 days.

The woman on the phone says they sell "Authentic Bags" by Louis Vuitton and other designers and that the reason they are so low priced is because they had very slight defects, and that LOUIS VUITTON could not sell them at their Boutiques if they were not perfect. They state that the defects are "merely" noticeable and will take returns if not satisfied. (In other words if you find out it's FAKE, which they all are)

I was totally ripped off by this seller on ioffer.com and now ioffer banned me for reporting the fraud and warning other users on some of his other items for sale. What we need is for anyone scammed by this seller to contact Paypal in the next 3 months and file a claim against them under the (resolution center). 1 person complaining to Paypal will be meaningless. Paypal helps these criminals perpetuate fraud against the honest account holders there and this is heinous. These criminals can send us anything they want and as long as we get the package no matter what is in it we are scr*wed. I was sent a bait and switch item which was an worthless imitation of the real picture on the seller's ioffer site. What I received isn't worth $1 and I lost $50 for 2 of them. I ordered a louis vuitton purse and it was made very poorly. On the website is said we can return the purse in 10 days. I called them 3 times and emailed 3 times and asked for the return address and my money back. They sent me an email 5 days later and told me it will take more time to contact me back. That will probably be passed the 10 days to return, which I believe they are doing purposely.

After receiving an email that the products were inded real. I ordered them... When they arrived... They were poor quality knockoffs... I called them and told them the problems... Glue on one handbag, chanel logo wrong and charms tinny, and the shoes not of good quality... They said to email them and they would send me the address to mail them back... I notified visa... My emails are not accepted and bounced back to me... I have written email proof that they stated the past season products were authentic... Now their phone is disconected... This is a scam of the greatest kind... I thought that because they were p[st season merchandise I could believe them... But that was certainly not the truth... I noiw have to find a store that carried the merchandise and have them write a letter for me that these are not "the real deal"... What an expensive lesson to learn... This website is a total scam i was stupid enough to buy three bags from this website, when i got the bags they were total fakes! I even talked to the lady from the website she said the bags were real and that they were from Italy and France. She told me that i could even go the the actual designer store and have them confirm that they are real. I did just that, and they told me they were fake! I called her back and told her that i knew the bags were fake, she said "how?" I told her i could just tell and that i went the designer stores to have them confirm for me. She still kept saying, "the bags are real" And then she said, "we don't get the bags from the store we get them directly from France and Italy". The thing is, she's the one that told me to go to the designer store in the first place to confirm, and now she's mad cause i actually did it. Another thing is, why on earth would France and Italy send real designer handbags to Hong Kong so that these people could sell their merchandise for dirt cheap on the internet? I wish i knew that before i purchased the bags. Anyways, after the lady kept getting all mad, she started pissing me off and i didn't know any other way to make her understand me so i finally asked her if she spoke chinese because i had a feeling that if her company is in Hong Kong she must speak chinese. So when i asked her about speaking chinese, the tone in her voice changed she became alot nicer she said, "Yes, do you speak chinese?" So i handed the phone to a very dear friend of mine that speaks chinese, and my friend yelled at her and told her in chinese that selling fake bags are illegal and my friend asked the lady if she wants to go to jail and that she was going to call the FBI on her. The lady then told my friend that she would take care of the situation and then hung up the phone. I've tried to call this lady back tons of times, no answer! I tried calling again, but her phone was disconnected. I have filed a dispute w/my bank in hopes of getting my money back. This website is now being investigated. I was so mad that i even called the Better Business Bureau but they could not help, i called the Federal Trade Commission, they could not help me. I came across this website called IC3, they are affiliated with the FBI. I even spoke w/an FBI agent and told him what happend, he told me to file a complaint online so i did. If anything the only people who could help me get my money back would be my bank. I'm hoping and praying that all will work out. I have been so stressed out because of what happend it's making it hard for me to function sometimes. These people are going down one way or another! They have messed w/the wrong person!

I am writing this complaint based on my horrible experience in Louis Vuitton at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan, on 13th November 2008 around 6.30pm.
I went into the shop and was hoping to purchase a bag. I stood in front of the counter for 15 mins but no one came to assist me, even though some of the sales associates were idling.
I waited patiently for another 10 mins and finally i managed to stop a sales associate to help me with my purchase.
I gave her the model number of the bag (Manon MM Model no: M95619).
She brought it out after a while and i told her that i will get it, but requested her to hold on to it for awhile as i wanted to go to their 2nd level to see other bags as well, but she did not follow me.
After 5 mins, i went down and wanted to pay for the bag. The sales associate who served me earlier was serving other customers, and so i waited for her or reckon that she will at least get another sale associate to help me to settle the payment.
I stood at the counter for 15mins and once again no one bothered about my existence. At the same time, some Caucasians walked in, and they were being served immediately.
I finally managed to grab a sale associate who walk passed me. I told her that I wanted to pay for the bag which I have requested her colleague to hold on for me, but without asking me or her colleague for the model number, she gave a snobbish look and said she doesn't know and the bag was sold.
Hence I asked her to show me other bags instead, but she refused to.
She said all the bags are on the display so i can just look at it from afar! After insisting her to show it to me, she started to bang on the drawers
containing wallets; since the bag i wanted to see is a Speedy model, how can it be in the drawer of wallets?
So i told her again that i wanted to see the Speedy bag, but she simply walked away and talked to the security guard.
I was speechless; and when she came back to me, she opened up the same drawer again and brought out a wallet to show me.
I don't understand her angry attitude towards me and it is not that she does not understand English, so why did she refuse to show me the bag that i wanted to see?!
Again, i told her that i wanted to see the Speedy bag, and finally she brought it out and together, she also brought me the bag that i wanted to purchase earlier.
I asked her: I thought you said this bag was sold?
and she replied saying I don't know! and walked away.
Why will i get such treatment from Louis Vuitton when you have such good reputation, and shouldn't your staffs be service-orientated as well?
Or could it be because i am an asian and your staffs are being racist?
I am really upset by this incident, as i felt so discriminated and am truly disappointed by the rude service rendered to me.

All of their stores have jerks working as SA. Years ago the Copley store and the Fifth Avenue store were wonderful. Not anymore, Rude ignorant classless people.horrible customer service. Most of their bags are made in the US now, assembly line bags. Nothing but junk. Stopped doing business with them. They don’t even know their product.
To start off, this review is my honest horrible experience with AMANDA and the entire staff at Louis Vuitton Garden City Roosevelt Field Macy's location New York. LIZ also added to my unpleasant experience.
After owning my pochette metis for a short 2 months, with gentle use mostly on weekends, the wax on the edge of the shoulder strap started to peel off. I was shocked and upset since i'm gentle with my items, especially high end "luxury" ones. I went in to LV and explained to AMANDA the issue and she said it's no problems & that this style bag has been having these problems and she will put in a complimentary replacement strap order free of charge. I asked for a confirmation receipt or paper, and she guaranteed i did not need one, just my name/last name. I asked one last time and she said not to worry. I took her word for it. She mentioned 6-8 weeks, and honestly, i wasn't in such a rush that i did not call or bug anyone, thinking i would get an update eventually. (that was Nov 2017) Months pass & having not heard from them, i stopped by confident that they just forgot to call me since it was already March 2018.
I asked the first available associate and she said she can't locate any order in the system with my name. As she way saying this, i saw AMANDA walk out. When i explained to her, she also looked like a deer in headlights. She could not explain to me why the order "she placed" was not coming up. Now that i think about it, i wish i didn't stay so calm and act so kind. Others would have caused a scene. I calmly waited for her to place me another complimentary order. This time i demanded a receipt. No sorry, nothing.
Weeks later i decided to call and see what the update was... and this is when everything hit the fan. I looked at the receipt she gave me and it showed $210.00 charge that was NEVER mentioned to me. I wanted to speak with her to clear this up since it was complimentary. I have screen shots (proof) that i tried to get in contact with AMANDA 24 times. Every time i called the store, different employees told me AMANDA will call me right back, i called from morning to evening, spoke to a minimum of 5 different people (one name i can remember is George). HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU GET 24 CALLS TO A STORE AND CAN'T CALL BACK?
I ended up in disbelief calling a customer service line that got in contact with (a manager?) named ROSA who guaranteed AMANDA would call me. N E V E R H A P P E N E D. Weeks went by and some other employee called to say my strap is finally ready.
I went in, and had the displeasure of meeting LIZ. She brings the strap and tells me my total it $210.00 (HAHA) i told her i'm not paying a penny and tried to quickly explain my situation... instead of her saying Sorry for your experience... ANYTHING they teach people working sales, ESPECIALLY high end luxury companies. If someone is paying $$$$ for handbags, we expect and deserve to have a pleasant experience and top of the line customer service, especially with simple requests such as these.
In the end, i hope people like AMANDA and the rest of the staff gets contacted from someone higher up and is given a lesson in basic customer service and general common sense. I would expect this type of service from cheap stores "fast fashion" but not LV.
They won’t this is all trickle down effect. Upper management is worse than they are. LV has gone to the dogs.
Woman at the San Jose store leaves me hanging to sell a belt to a kid and then goes on to help a couple. Got up and left. I'll be getting my bags at the Palo Alto store from now on..
I have bought a neverfull bag from LV 2 years before and it has started to paint shoulders of all my clothes.After wash, the fleck still appears on most of them.I have given my bag to LV shop in Nisantasi/Istanbul/Turkey and informed them on this issue, but after several days they have told me that''LV bags can make painting after a while''which is NOT a logical and consistent explanation since this is my last bag that i have bought from LV and since several years i have bought 3 more bags from you and although they are older than this one they never made painting or i did not have any other complaints.If the others would make the same problem in several years i could understand and accept this explanation, but while bags that i have used since 6-7 years do not make this painting, if only this 2 year bag is making this-then i can NOT accept this response.I would appreciate if you resolve my grievance, otherwise i will apply to consumercourt . I purchase a speedy 30, The lock look cheap alone with purse. I took it back to Neiman Marcus, and was told they have a 30 day policy and there was nothing they can do. The cost of the purse $970 plus tax and delivery. $1070.00. I want to return this purse and credit my account back. I will never order a purse from Louis Vuitton ever again. My husband purchased a Neverfull Pm for me and nearly 3 days later while on vacation we returned it to the Bal Harbour shops for what I thought was the Speedy 30. Soon after we left, I looked at the receipt and realized we were charged for the Speedy 30 Bandoulierre for over $500 the price of the classic speedy 30. I immediately packed the bag back in the box and called customer service, who assures me I will have no trouble returning the bag. A day and a half later while in the Orlando area I stopped in to the Millennia Mall where I'm told there are handprints on the handle and they would not accept. LV customer service have done nothing to fix the mistake of their classless sales rep who gave me and charged me for the wrong bag. When purchasing from a high end brand, and spending over $1500 for a purse, as a consumer you do not expect to be greeted by slimy sales people who are looking for a few extra dollars. Louis Vuitton sure could take a lesson from Apple's customer service team.
My husband purchased a $1200 purse with the $900 wallet. 9 months later the corners of the bag are torn. This is not my first LV (definitely the last) and was surprised with this. Took it in. The sales people (they do not seem to realize that that is ALL THEY ARE judging by their attitude) treat you like they are doing you a favor, instead of understanding they are paid by idiots like me that thought LV strived for quality. Her response (just like the poor guy with the wallet) was that the purse had been "heavily used" in this 9 months so they were not responsible for a repair. I asked if the shelf life of their purses was now 300 days...clearly they do not recruit the sharpest knives in the drawer - especially at the Cherry creek mall in Denver - so she looked blankly at me whilst she repeated they did not stand by "heavily used products". That are getting away with robbery by not honoring a return/repair policy. Unacceptable - and that is leaving aside their horrendous corporate culture of arrogant ignorant employees. They lost their quality/class on behalf of mass production.
Purchased an LV bag back in 2009. After 5 years the strap broke. Today went to the flagship store on 57th Street & 5Th Ave., NYC to inquire about repairs and i was told there is nothing that they can do. First at hand for almost $800 I do not understand why my strap broke within 5yrs. Secondly why are they unable to repair a bag of this quality is beyond me. I'm not giving up, will do my research. As for purchasing another LV bag that will never happen ever again. Quality I think not.
Dallas Galleria is just as bad. Operation manager Noel George is a worthless manager and needs to take a few customer service classes. Never purchasing another LV product again! Take your money to a company who backs up their product and quality.

I bought a $900 LV wallet in a LV Las Vegas store in April... by the end of June, the zipper handle finish had flaked off and the zipper itself had turned black... YUK! i took it to the South Coast Plaza store for warranty work. They were going to send my wallet back to be repaired. I've been back to the store 3 times and have called them 5 times. the only answer i get from them is that they havent heard from the factory and cannot give me a status. i asked the clerk when should i expect to hear something back from them, the answer i got is "we'll hear when we hear". what a load of crap. they should be calling the factory to find out where my wallet is, i am concerned that if they never hear back from the factory, i will be out $900 because these idiots are incapable of calling the factory to find out status. i would expect these guys to be a little better with customer service, especially since i spent more than $6000 there in the 4 months. i just tried calling the store again a few minutes ago, the girl put me on hold for the repair team. after a while i hung up, and called back only to find out the repair team is not there today AT ALL!... she put me on hold for no one... i will never do any business with that store again...

I purchases a bag from Louis Vuitton a couple of momths ago. I havent worn it more than 6 times. It has a python handle that peeled half of it as well as the leather of the bag as well.

Ordered a handbag for my wife to be delivered on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. My Bank questioned the purchase with me and I gave approval.
After notifying the Bank that the charges were in fact mine I called Louis Vuitton to verify the handbag was in fact still going to be delivered on the requested date. No Problem was the response but they did notify me a signature was required. As this was a special gift for my wife I waited all day to sign for the package that never came. I called customer service late in the day only to find out it had not been shipped.
I requested it shipped 2nd Day Air to insure I would have it on the day needed.
Customer Service said they could clear the Handbag for shipping and I would have it on Saturday. As I will be out of town, I cancelled the order.
Spoiled my surprise, ruined my day by sitting at home, spent hours on the phone getting assurance it was being handled, only to cancel the $2231.30 order while trying to find something last minute.
I realize this is not a big deal and others have real problems. But why the runaround when I trying to spend money with NM. - Very poor service!
