I never knowingly authoritzed this company to charge my account $88.97 like they did, I truly never read the terms and conditions that I will in the future. These people at the 800 customer service line are rude ignorant people who do not care. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. Too bad we have companies like this since now I will no longer order on the internet from companies. I will stick with Amazon for everything.

This is the worst place that I have ever had to deal with and this weekend when I have time I will be filing complaints with all parties involved. They do this because they know people are too busy and really sometimes not everyone looks at their statements. I am disputing the charge now. I will find the Better Business Bureau in CA and do all that I possibly can from NJ.

I tried to call and cancel several times & was refered to web site. could not cancel there either. charged my account $88.97 without my consent. You can't get a person to give you a RTN code so you can return this junk. They will not accept the return without the code. I am reporting them to the California Atty General. This was a lesson learned about giving a card number to strangers. Only deal with companies you know. If I lived there I would be on their doorstep & picket the place! A bunch of ### run this company. Their parents must be ### to have raised such garbage. As is said " The apple dosen't fall far from the tree.

Luminous Brites will deduct $88.97 from your bank account. If you gave them your debit/credit card number, you can prevent this company from STEALING your money by canceling the card and having the bank issue a new one w/ new numbers. Therby blocking the w/drawl of funds from your acct. I realize this sounds like a lot of work, but it isn't. It is worth your 10 minutes on the phone.

Does anyone know if Luminous Brites changed the company name to Ivory Smiles? Ivorysmiles.com looks exactly like luminousbrites.com.

Like others on this site, I am cancelling any transactions from this company. I never authorized this company to charge my credit card other than the initial $4.oo for a trial. In no way did I ever, nor will I ever, pay $88.97 for this rediculous product! Take this charge off my bill immediately and cancel any further shipments! I need a RMA# immediately or I will file a dispute with my credit card company and a complaint with the BBB.

Luminous Grites free trial was ordered on October 19, 2008 and a charge of $5.99 was issued to a Visa card ending on 4398. As of December 21, 2008, I have not received any product or communication from the above mentioned institution.. I would like to receive the product or a refund in case the product would not be available.
Thank you.

I ordered a "free trial" of this product for s&h only. For 3 months now $88 had been drafted from my account with my permission. I have not been able to contact this company my e-mail or telephone. But the money continues to be drafted from my account. Also the very expensive product is CHEAP and not worth even the s&h. I have used it as directed and have noticed some difference but less than with using Whiten Strips. I hope anyone considering this product reads this and chooses NOT to!

I was fooled into thinking that luminous brites was a reputable company and just wanted me to sample their product. They mailed the product with absolutely no implication that I was on a trial period and that my card would be charged twenty days later for $89. I tried to contact the company several times and no one picked up the phone. Two days later I received a generic e-mail from them saying that I had committed to these charges after I didn't cancel my free trial membership. I never thought of reading the fine print. I disputed all charges with my bank and in less then a week all money was refunded to my account. I have learned my lesson and will never input my credit card information unless I am positive I am on a trust worthy site. I just hope that others who have been misled by luminous brites understand that they can get their money back by simply disputing the charges.

Fit Factory, Celebrity Smiles, Luminous Brites, Ivory Whites, Ivory Smiles and I'm sure various other names are all ran by the same company and they all charge your account without permission. Additionally the order form that first comes up when you order the sample contains their terms and conditions either in a scroll box that is less than a 1/2 inch tall or actually can't be seen until you've give them your credit card information. Later they will send you a different web address where the "membership" terms are clearly marked to prove that you agreed. They ignore requests for the full refund that their website says will be given. Also the sample product comes in a zip lock bag and has no ingredient label or proper packaging. I didn't actually use the sample because I was afraid of what might actually be in that syringe. I have emailed repeatedly as according to their directions and they continue to respond with a form letter threatening what will happen if I dispute their charges, but they never reply to the request for the return authorization. This is a definite scam.

I have now been billed twice by your company for 89 dollars each time. After the first time I called and canceled your product and was assured I would not be billed again. Of course I was billed again. I assume I will be billed again next month as well. I called your customer service, and they said I would never be billed again. Two weeks later I get your product in the mail, with a new bill. I want it to be reimbursed to me.

I answered a product questionnaire and paid the 4.99 shipping for a Crest teeth whitener kit. I did not authorize Luminous Brites to bill my credit card for 88.97. Will I ever get my visa credited for the 88.97? What more can I do but complain to you? Was I scammed? When I call the Luminous Brites toll free number they refer me to this web site. Something's wrong.

I paid $4.99 and received one syringe of teeth whiteniing gel. I called the company and asked to send me no more products. I received a shipment of 2 more syringes of the gel in 11/13 and my credit card was charged $88.97. I haven't used any of the products. I would like to return your product to you and get the full refund. Again, I have disputed the charge from my credit card company and you will not receive any payment any way.

I called your customer service and I was told to write to you before I mail the shipment back, to see if it's OK to mail it back. Please reply to me to let me know the address to return the shipment (the second shipment is still sealed not even opened)

Like everyone else. I signed up for the trial offer and saw nothing about a continous monthly supply billed at $88.97. In fact, the first shipment I received after my trial, there was no paper work with it except the directions for use. Nothing about the billing or return information. I only discovered the charge while looking through my bank statement. The web site does not come up. I will attempt the phone number and email and I guess then resort to canceling my bank card as this seems to have worked for other people. What a fraud. This has to stop.

I ordered a sample of a teeth whitening kit off of the web. While I was waiting for it to arrive my husband informed me that my card was charged $89. I was surprised. That's a lot of money and when he said who charged it, Luminousbrites.com I was upset. I already paid the shipping and handling for the Free Sample and on top of that they are charging me another $89. What really made me mad is that I had not received the "Free Sample" yet. So, I looked them up on line found a phone number and called. When I finally got through the guy on the other end said that not only have I received it but I ordered it past the time to cancel. I told him that that is ridiculous cause I just ordered it and I didn't get it yet! He told me to write an e-mail to support@luminousbrites.com and I will be refunded. I'm still waiting for my refund. I don't think that people/companies like that should be in business. It's fraud, unethical and they're stealing from people. I didn't even get anything from that company and they still charged me. I think that they should be put out of business.

I too ordered a sample trial. That's all. I did not sign up for any club or further products. First of all it did not work to my satisfaction and I chose another product. You cannot reply to the web site that they give. I did cancel in time but the girl answering the phone with the most insipid tone said her name was Betty after she thought about it. She said they had no record of me, yet they took money from my credit card! Businesses like this damage other people trying to make an honest living. They make other people hesitant of trying anything without a face behind it.

I have put the charge on dispute with my credit card company. Your system is deceptive. I do not need teeth whitening. I have never used the original pachage . I never checed my orginal billing for the first 4.95 or I would have cancelled at that time. Please issue a credit for the $88.97 and advise shipping return authorization. I am able to obtain teeth whitining from the local Dental School for a total cost of $75.00, which I do not need.

My wife sent in for a FREE trial of this luminous brites whitening trial after paying shipping and handling. Less than a month later low and behold we received another package of this $89.97 whitening crap. We then noticed the charge to our bank account. She read all instructions and terms and conditions (she is a teacher with a masters degree) she told me that there was no side box about conditions or terms of being a member of this monthly reoccurring charge.

Several attempts have been made by email and telephone with no results. I threated them with attorney general, BBB, and legal action. They laugh it off and hang up on me. They also informed me that there is no other way to contact the return department but by email. He tells me that the office has no phones in it. These people treat you like your stupid and that they know that they have got over on you.

I want to do anything within my power to make sure these ### pay for what they have done to everyone involved in this scam.

If anyone has succeeded in getting your money back let me know what works.

I responded to an internet ad for a teeth whitening product. The ad said it was a free 14 day trial size for only the shipping charge of $4.99. I received the product and about two weeks later, there was an unauthorized debit from my account in the amount of $88.97. I only wanted to try this product, did not want to continue with it and did not authorize further debits from my account.

Now I cannot get in touch with the company to get the process going to get a refund - and time is running out. The website I was initially directed to is nonexistent - and neither is the secondary site www.luminousbrites.com. Nobody answers the only phone number I have for them. Not to mention that the number is in California which happens to be a 3-hour difference from my time zone so I am always at work during the hours they are open.

Soon my ability to receive a refund IF I can jump through all the hoops exactly as required will be expired. Apparently, I only have 15 days from the date I was billed in order to receive a refund. I have a half sheet piece of paper sent to me with the product trial that looks like it was printed from an ordinary computer that says that I must receive an RMA (return merchandise authorization) within 15 days of the date I was charged. Then it states that all cancellation notices need to be received within 20 days of the date I was billed. This 'company' has made it extremely difficult for people to get refunds of their fraudulent charges.

This is a scam! Just go to your dentist to see if they have a sample of a teeth whitening product.

Warning...do not order luminous brites! They give you a 20 not 30 day trial period. They then ship another product and hit your account for $88.00. I called and emailed them numerous times before I got a response. They were very rude and unprofessional. I sent the product back like I was told to do and they still did not refund my money. I was told that I should have cancelled within the 20 days in order to keep the product from shipping, but of course they didn't tell me that until after I had shipped the product back. These crooks need to be stopped!

I too did not read the fine print that it would cost me after 20 day trial not 30 days. I called to cancel and all I get is music. I e-mailed
them to cancel and got no response. I that they refund me my 89.00 they took out of my account. I still have not received my credit. I have 2 packages sitting here and do not plan to use it. I got this cause my son wanted to try and told me it was free. Poor services do not make good customers.

I sent for a trial off for a teeth whitener. It cost 4.99 plus 1.00 shipping..I received it, used it, and then was going to buy it at a local drugstore, when another shipment of the same trial arrived, or so I thought. It was my "monthly" supply of the teeth whitening product, and they informed me that I would be charged 88.97 per month for future shipments. They said I could cancel at anytime and they gave me a website...so I cancelled, kept the receipt, sent back the whitener. It still has not been put back in my checking account so I called them...it sounds like the same story they are giving everyone...I should have read the fine print...I do not remember seeing any fine print...I only wanted a sample...so now what do I do to get my money bacK? they told me to write to their billing dept, so I will try that but I doubt that I will have much luck. Thanks, for a place to air my gripes and warn others. Polly Dersch

I checked off a trial offer, thinking that they were offering a newly designed whitestrip - based on their add wording. Once they got my credit card number they started charging me $88.77 per month. There were no white strips. What you got was a syringe of goo and two mouthguards. This is a fake offer in my opinion and should not be allowed to continue. It is impossible to get your charges taken off your card because the card companies really do not stand up for your consumer rights. This company is being allowed to perpetrate a fraud in my opinion. They come up with bogus screen shots that claim that you OKd a monthly billing, which is completely ridiculous.

Another variation on the theme: I ordered, they tray system sucks and I didn't use it, I received two more tubes of gel and $88.97 charge on my credit card. I called and cancelled my bogus "membership" and was told to email support for an RMA number to return the unused and unopened product. Email support said basically, "too bad, so sad." $90 is a chunk of change for nothing and what's worse is that they are laughing all the way to the bank. How can this be allowed to continue? How can we stop this?
