canceling account
I called [protected] and spoke w/Peter. He would not listen to me. I told him I had had Malwarebytes removed from my computer and wanted to cancel my account. He insisted on getting rights to my computer and when I gave them, he went into files that were none of his business. He also kept asking how much I paid for Norton. When he found out that Malware was removed, I told him he didn't listen to me. I asked him for the customer service number, he refused to give it to me. I told him I was going to report him and I hung up!

strange way of communication
This is a program that may cause problems, and of course people will always have questions regarding their issues. So your company has to have a great customer service. It's normal. It's how it should be. But no, it's not about you. They answer emails, but it takes them too long. Actually, a communication like that irritates. Because they miss details, and you have to ask, sending more and more emails. Would it be better to talk to each other on the phone, huh?

malwarebytes 3.0 trial
Today I was using my windows 10 laptop when my windows defender alerted me of multiple threats on my PC, Trojan to be exact after checking that it was still there and windows defender did not quarantine it (not sure if it even does that) I started up malware bytes except for it to find in a full system scan and do what ever they do, but not only did it not find it, I didn't even get a notification about the Trojan's presence. after seeing this and getting rid of it my self I felt as if Malwarebytes is a antiviral programme that cant be trusted for simple tasks such as protecting a computer system not to consider a ton of my bank info photos and files etc are on the pc.

continued service
There is a charge on my Discover account for $24.95 dated August 11th, 2017, No. [protected]. My computer is not connected to the internet and there is no reauthorization for service. Please reverse the charge and terminate all service. If this communication is not adequate, how do I cancel service and reverse charges for a service which does nothing? Jack Pugsley Ph. [protected].

complaint
I ordered malwarebytes about a eight months ago and it was working fine. Then all of a sudden it stopped working. I called customer support and they wanted 200 dollars to clean my home pc. He went inside my computer and I trusted him. Because I refused to pay the 200 dollars, he damaged my computer somehow. It wouldn't work anymore. This company is dishonest and are swindlers.
unprofessionals
I bought this thing on February 2017. At first it worked fine, however, for the last three months they have been bombarding me with notices that show up on the left side of my screen while I'm trying to do my work. I have sent several emails and all I get are suggestions written in poor English (probably by a Filipino) and screenshots of Malwarebytes telling me to do the obvious. Today I sent them an email demanding a refund of the unused portion and that I will not renew my license come next February.

Same problem. It goes away. After my experience with a fake tech, I wouldn't download the "upgrade"
clean computer & install malware/virus
With this malware there was very little I was able open on my computer, and when I removed it then your bill showed up on my credit card statement. The last four digits of my credit card are 1975. It was $27.00 on 2-27-17. This product is unsatisfactory and there was very little I could do on my computer. I hope that this matter is resolved very soon. Thank You

double billing
Good day, I have a problem with billing by Cleverbridge for Malwarebytes. I was charged $39.95 on 8-31-16 for Malwarebytes protection for three computers. On 9-25-16 I was billed $24.95 which I believe was a recurring payment for Malwarebytes on one computer that I purchased in 2015. The $39.95 purchase on 8-31-16 is correct. As this is a double charge for a service I purchased on 8-1-16 I need to have you credit my bank account the payment in the amount of $24.95 that was made in error. Please, as soon as possible! The transaction ID might be [protected] Thank you, Peter Gray

Unauthorized/fraudulent charge to credit card
Charded to my credit card. Have no idea who this is or what their supposed product is. Phone number associated with card is [protected] whoch does nothing but direct you to this website. Refund immediately requested.I have filed a complaint with the NC Banking commission, the SEC, the North Carolina Attorney General's Office, the Federal Attorney Generals Office and my attorney is researching other agencies from which direction request could levy the appropriate action and the removal of this charge to my credit card. This is credit card fraud purely and simply. It

I was charged twice (2 consecutive days) for 24.95 for CBI*MALWAREBYTES. How can I get these charges removed?
Hi Peggy. Thanks for your message. You can get in contact with our support team on support.malwarebytes.com and they'll be able to help out. Thank you!
Hi,
Kindly remove the charge of $26.51 card ending 2075 from Citicards advantage.

Charge shown as CBI Malwarebytes. I don't have any use and I never authorized this charge! It was
charged on 06/09/2019
I called [protected] IL and it is just a recording.
Thanks

it is a scam, ask for the billing email address, tried both of mine and it says it is not registered so how can they say you charged it without an email in your account file
My comment has been entered! Stop telling me that the 'comment' cannot be empty! It is not empty.
I have entered 3 different messages and you want a comment. I have entered a comment! This whole situation has made my blood pressure rise to a dangerous level. Just put the money back in my account!
I am sick and tired of the way I have been treated on this site! A senior citizen has many issues...and you just treated me as if I was uneducated! Goodbye!
Checked the spelling twice.
I have checked my spelling. There are no errors in my spelling.
I have just spent over an hour trying to straighten out this mess. Please, get this problem resolved.
My bank account has a withdrawal for $43.19 by USCB malwarebytes. I want this amount refunded at once! If need be, I will contact my attorney. I am unable to have this money withdrawn from my account. I have always had malware on my system. I have never had to pay for that. If, for any reason, there is a problem depositing this money back in my account, it will show on my statement. Don't scam old, retired people! I have already had my SS reduced because of WEP/GPO. If this is a one time payment...OK...but every month? ...no, I have not authorized this.

Same issue here. Trying to delete CBI account is impossible! Nothing I've tried works. I have NEVER authorized anyone to automatically charge anything to my credit card. I want the $40.00 amount credited to my account Immediately! Anyone actually get through to a real voicemail or person?
I was charged 12/02/2017, 04/29/07 and 04/29/07 for Malware CBI. There was a double charge in April I caught as I was working on my 2017 taxes.
lesson learned!
Before buying from Malwarebytes I contacted them and asked about the product. They assured me that I will be able to install the software on my PC and I belied them!
So I bought the software and nothing! My PC was not able to install it! I contacted Malwarebytes right away hoping for a refund but they refused to give my money back. Lesson learned!

Malwarebytes -
A really great application, but, don't ever reinstall your os because you will be treated as a criminal by malwarebytes.
Apparently, whenever you reinstall your os, malwarebytes still maintains the record of the initial installation.
Stupid!
My latest (Third time) same problem, malwarebytes records show that I had malwarebytes installed four times (I have 2 licenses) on four computers!
The correspondence from malwarebytes was just one step from calling me a thief because they have my history down as having installed the software on four separate computers.
Malwarebytes will id your attempt to reinstall their software as a brand new additional computer! Not your same 'old' computer. You are automatically assumed to be stealing their software by reinstalling it to your same computer that you just cleaned and reinstalled your os.
So, be prepared to be treated as a criminal when you reinstall malwarebytes. They are more then happy to spend time emailing you back and forth from their customer support department and waste your time.
After all, they are getting paid — by you.
There is a very simple solution, but they are obviously too dense to see it.
THIS tells you how to do it properly.

can't get a id & key code
I have requested help from Malwarebytes regarding the software to protect against viruses to my computer. A person named Gunter Poller contacted me via email (I have paid for the protection plan already). He indicates that I should have received an email from Cleverbridge who should have given me the ID and Key number. I haven't received such an email. My software is supposed to be good until 1/4/2015 and there is an icon that appears that after four days the program will no longer be effective. I would like a response for I take online classes and can't afford for my computer to crash.
Please help.

refused to pay for the repair or to apologize
My friend advised me to try the antivirus from the website www.malwarebytes.org. It was mentioned that they offered it for free, so I decided to download it. After I downloaded and installed this antivirus, my computer broke and I needed to repair it. I contacted the representative and told everything what happened, but he refused to pay for the repair or to apologize, he simply hung up on me. I just wanted to warn everyone not to deal with such dishonest people.
Even if your computer broke after installing the software, there is a very high possibility it was coincidence in timing. They shouldn't have to pay for your repair. What is wrong with you people are you all entitled idiots?
I too have used MB for years with no problems. People need to be careful when doing things they do not understand.
program performance
My computer got infected by a bad malware program (Antivirus IS) and a bad virus (unknown). I had McAfee Antivirus Plus and these virus and malware programs went right around McAfee even though I had real time scanning on. By the time that McAfee detected the danger it was too late. I had to have my hard drive wiped clean and reprogrammed. The repair shop added the free Malwarebytes program and I purchased the upgraded program. It scans with blinding speed and detects rogue programs that McAfee misses. One does need an antivirus program along with Malwarebytes. I know that new malware and viruses are concieved often and all of the antivirus and malware software can't offer 100% protection all of the time but I do feel confident with McAfee and Malwarebytes running realtime scanning.

unistalled windows vista, driver
After downloading malwarebytes to remove a virus, that mircosoft sercuity essentils couln't. It found two infections and one virus. I then removed them and things were ok. I then uninstalled malwarebytes and I found that I had lost windows vista, driversand my data as well as all updates for a year and a half. I took it in for repair. And was charged $170.00 for this. Now I wouldn't tell anyone to get malwarebytes. The laptop was a toshiba satellite L305-S5955 running vista with sercurity essentials.
What is going on with this malwarebytes thing. We all need to post our history with them. This why we can share our problems better.
Hey I had that same thing happen to my laptop. I am glad to see I am not alone out here with the problem. Way to go dong me.
I would very much like to know how many other people have had this problem with malwarebytes. It would be helpful for everyone. Thany you for posting this complaint.
Thanks for the heads up on malwarebytes. I do think they owe you some money for the problem they caused.

Malwarebytes's update notification steals focus. This causes you to exit out of some games whilst in fullscreen and ruin your attempt. I am seriously considering uninstalling and getting a new antivirus just over this, because it happens so frequently and is so frustrating.

I received a bill for $26.45 dated 3/24/19. This subscription was cancelled last year about the same time last year, and a credit was issued. I will not pay for this, and have contacted our card service and registered a dispute. I have another protection for my computers. Please correct your records showing that I am no longer using Malwarebytes.
Hi Rosa. Thanks for reaching out to us. I will send you a private message, if you could give me your email address through there, I'll make sure it's fully cancelled for you. Thank you!
