I was gonna buy a new kia sportage ex and trade in my car. after much back and forth a deal was agreed to and 2 people i dealt with knew i wanted an xm radio , when it came down to signing the deal and setting the stations on the xm radio i was told that car didn't have an xm radio and if i wanted an xm radio i had a choice of 2 other models , 1 for an extra $3000.00 the other was an extra $4500.00 . Plus i had to have a smart phone to get xm thru an "APP " which is crazy . I will not be forced to buy a stupid/smart phone so i can get APPS and end up paying double for a phone bill. I am a senior citizen on a fixed budget and i don't use a cell phone very often and i will not be forced into buying 1 so i can have xm radio in a car i want to buy...the 2 people at Matt Blatt Kia that i dealt with in Toms River didn't seem to care at all which in my opinion just shows me i would end up getting bad customer service there...

I gotta say, the guy who sold me my car was great, really made me feel welcome. Had an issue within the first month, but they took care of it right away. But then things went downhill. Been going back and forth with the service department for weeks trying to get a second set of keys made. They never call me back and it's been a real pain. And today, I had an appointment for a voltage issue at 8:30am. I got there early, but it's now 1pm and my car is still sitting in their lot. I told the service manager that the issue happens when the car is warmed up and parked outside for more than 4 hours. But the mechanics went to lunch and my car is still sitting there. What's the point of making an appointment if they're not gonna look at my car? They didn't even offer me a loaner, just a ride home. I bought their warranty too, but now I want my money back. I had to take time off work for this and my car still isn't being worked on.

I bought a car from Matt Blatt Kia of Toms River on April 22. I still ain't got the license plate for the car. I had to go back to the dealership twice to get a temp tag. They said I would get the plates in less than a week when I went there last time. But it's been almost a month now. I called the manager many times but they didn't call me back. I just want my plates. I don't feel safe driving with an expired temp tag. They should either give me the plates or refund the fee so I can get them myself with all the documents I need.

I had a problem with my Sorrento and filed a complaint with ComplaintsBoard.com before. I talked to *** from *** and he said that the engine was covered under warranty but the catalytic converter was damaged and should be replaced at ***'s expense. He said that *** denied the claim but he would see what he could do. This was in June 2022. I waited until July 7 2022 and called *** six times but he didn't call me back. It seems like they ignored me since my previous complaint was closed. I want the situation resolved at someone else's cost. I will take legal action against both *** and Matt *** dealership if necessary. This dealership has a habit of ignoring their customers until a formal complaint is taken.
