I called the only phone number the this company has and no other options then you get a recorder asking you for your personal information and that someone will call me back, I am still waiting for that call back, this is the first time I am calling this company to pay a balance and I don't feel comfortable to record a report of all my personal information on a machine. This is a big company they should have a live person answering incoming phone calls at least, not a machine. Very poor customer service.

This company placed a collection on my credit report for a bill I did not know I had. When I contacted them via phone the same day I spoke with Ryan and he said they had been trying to contact me since they purchased the account from the hospital in July. I told him that was not true, because if they had I would have researched the matter, contacted the hospital since I was paying them thru an on-line portal that suddenly disappeared. I ask them to remove the report from the my credit since I knew nothing about and paid the small amount to expedite the matter and have not heard from them since. Tried to call, sent mail.
CS IS AWEFUL, PAID THE BILL IN FULL ON 4/30 AND ON 7/20 STILL SHOWING ON MY CREDIT REPORT. THIS WAS DISCUSSED TO BE REMOVED ON PAYMENT IN FULL. NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME THEY DO NOT HAVE THIS IN THEIR OFFICE ANYMORE AND WOULD SEND ME A LETTER SAYING IT WAS CLOSE OUT WITH A ZERO BALANCE. I DO NOT NEED A LETTER I NEED THIS OFF MY CREDIT REPORT. I STILL HAVE MY REFERENCE NUMBER AFTER RECEIVING MY *** MONEY!
Fraud. Scam. They will NOT send you anything in writing. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM. DO NOT PAY! I offered to settle if I had something in writing...email, text. NO they cant do that. They are a SCAM!
really rude and disrespectful customer service agents, unprofessional and bad service.
I had provided insurance information for the debt they are saying I have to medicredit 3 times and to the hospital it is from. I just had a medicredit rep call and start yelling over me that this is MY responsibility and that I will pay them. Absolutely unprofessional and I will be contacting my attorney.
This company is awful
This company is awful . They keep calling me about someone else's bill. I have informed them multiple times that they have the wrong number yet the keep calling me. One time they accused me of lying and "forgetting" I was in the hospital? Seriously? They call me in Spanish even too, even though I don't speak it. It is straight up harassment when I have no business with them. Fortunately since they have the wrong number, they don't even have my name and there is no actual bill of mine, so they can send this lady to collections and it has no impact on me. I just wish they would go harass the correct person as it is annoying.
Same problem url says invalid cant even pay them .WHen making a payment online it gives them ability to also charge without further notice with your credit information you gave them
They are essentially an ILLEGAL collection company helping to commit MEDICAL FRAUD. The Complaintsboard.com encourages their practices because they are paid to do so! I have the attorney general from PA investigating their deceptive practices, and I personally intend to file a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against the corrupt organization. It's all BUSINESS for them. They don't care whose lives they destroy, as long as they get their 10,000 percent medical overcharges collected. Everyone should join a class action lawsuit and put the organization out of business for good! Everyone should know, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A WRITTEN CONTRACT WITH MEDICREDIT, then you DON'T have to pay them 1 cent! That is the law. Talk to a good lawyer, and they will tell you the same thing. NO CONTRACT= NO LEGAL DEBT! DEBT cannot be conferred on someone without a legal contract between 2 parties!
It's interesting that a lot the complaints are from May/June alone. In my past dealings I would have given a higher rating but after my encounter with a representative today (6/3) who was rude and over talking me, this company is lucky that I event selected one star. If customer calls are truly being recorded, then I hope management is reviewing the calls. I did not get nasty or confrontational in my conversation, I was just trying to ask clarifying questions as to why my account, which was on a plan, was now reporting negatively on my credit report. What I got was a lecture as to why I should have had it on a plan with auto draft, why I should have called vs. paying online, and why it's not the reps responsibility to share what payment options are available. Again, I sincerely hope management reviews recorded calls. I understand that reps are doing a job but with all that has happened in the world, you don't know any of the reasons why outside of being delinquent, that an individual finds themselves on your line. Honestly, the companies that uses Medi Credit may want to review these comments. We as patients can likely find medical care at another medical facility, which will essentially impact their bottom line, if 3rd party vendors like Medi Credit are who they continue to do business with.
Medicredit appears to be some sort of fraudulent "collection agency". They charged my father's credit card $1,408 for which my father has no clue why. They appear to take advantage of older people that don't understand what is going on.

I just got a letter from what looks to be Medicredit www.medicreditcorp.com with a bill of $6, 393.10 from *** in Arizona dating back to 08-07-2017. We have paid in full all medical bills and our address has not changed since May . So why didn't we see a late payment a lot earlier. This is ridiculous unless they got the wrong person with the same name. Like others have said this is a fraud debit and it's so sad that I'm having to report this and will fight it. I'm tired of scam artist and now we have to deal with fraud collecting agencies. I hope this is fake and will be checking to see what continues to happen.
I received a letter from these people stating I owed a local hospital. In response, I sent back a letter clarifying that I do not engage with collection agencies as I have no outstanding debts with them. I mentioned that I have an ongoing payment arrangement directly with the hospital and have consistently kept up with the payments. I even provided a copy of the payment arrangement and a spreadsheet detailing the payments, including the dates each payment was cleared by my bank. Despite this, they persist in removing the account from my credit report and then reinstating it. The original amount they claimed I owed was incorrect, and it has remained unchanged despite my regular payments being acknowledged through cashing. They seem to disregard conducting any form of research. Moreover, despite my explicit request in the letter to refrain from calling me and to communicate exclusively in writing, they continue to call my phone. I have only visited the hospital once and have not returned since. Yet, suddenly, I have received another bill from this collection agency. Both the agency and the hospital have exhibited behavior that comes across as money-driven and discourteous.
I am in collections with them on my credit report BUT when I try to pay the provider it says I do not owe them any money. When trying to see my account on the Medicredit website it keeps popping up a warning saying incorrect URL... I have files a dispute with them in hopes of getting this collection off of my credit report seeing as to know one can fine where I even owe a bill!
The agents are RUDE, will hang up on you, lie to you, state they are doing things on your behalf but they aren't and you end up right back at the phone tree frustrated having to start over. Website has issues. I have been trying to pay my bill for multiple days and the URL doesn't work, not the 1st time this has happened. Today, 3/16 it took me 5 phone calls to Medicredit to get to someone who had a clue and could get me the correct URL to their own website. Today a few agents refused to help me because I wouldn't give my full name, address, DOB, why would I need to provide that just to find out why the website isn't working? I am not asking anything about my account. Agents did not even know if they had certain depts in their own company. Asked for technical dept, more than 1 agent told me they were not sure if they had a technical dept. What?! How do you work there and not know? That is absurd to me. During 1 of my 5 attempts I asked to speak with a manager and the agent didn't even cut his mic and seconds later stated "all mangers" were in a meeting, obviously a bogus statement because I called right back and next agent "attempted" to connect me to a manager but yet once again I end up at the phone tree. Very frustrating. If you have to deal with these people just set up an online account and save yourself the stress of potentially having to converse with them. New URL provided 3/16 www.medicreditcorp.com which redirects back to old URL.
I set up a payment plan with them. Received an email saying that my first payment had been made. It never showed up on my bank statement. Now they are hounding me again, but their website doesn't work. Keeps taking me to Loyale Patient Portal which doesn't work.

If I could give them a 0 I would So I kept getting a call from them and finally called them back. When I went on my credit report and saw them, I immediately disputed it. I got one *** to remove it off of my credit report and the other 2 did not because Medicredit refused to. They said they just don't do it. Then I asked for an explanation and they said they just don't do that. I asked to speak to a manager and the rep hung up on me after 10 minutes on hold. Then I called again and the line hung up on me. And I called back and rep is trying to argue with me and acted like she did not want to transfer me to a manager. So now I have to call back again. I spoke with

It's like they don't want me to pay them, I'm not looking to get in any legal trouble or have my credit attacked, but I've been trying to pay my bill for the past almost 2 weeks. I can't get them to answer their phone, even when I call during business hours I get sent straight to a voice mail that tells me to call back during business hours. And their website is one of the worst I've ever seen, I used to pay using a guest account, but they removed functions from guest accounts for some reason, using it I can only pay all or half of my several hundred $ bill which is completely unreasonable. Because of this I tried making an account, and the account I made won't let me log in, so I really don't know what these people expect.

They keep taking account off my credit then putting it back on. Their orginial amount was never correct nor has the amount ever changed dispite making a monthly payment that is cashed. They do no such thing as research, and dispite in my letter stating I do not want calls and anything they need to communicate can be done in writting they continue to call my phone. I have not been back to *** since the one time and now all of a ssudden I have yet another bill from this collection agency. Both the agency and the hospital are money hungry rude people.
I got a call last month about a $300 bill I supposedly owed a provider
I got a call last month about a $300 bill I supposedly owed a provider. They could not tell me what provider, what city they are in or even a phone number to call to confirm it is legit. All they wanted me to do was pay them $300 with NO confirming of the debt. I started calling all of the providers that I had seen last year. I did finally find the provider and the balance was correct but they had been sending bills to the wrong address. OKAY... I paid in full that same day! I get a call again today from them saying that I still owed the balance of $300 and that I needed to pay immediately. I told them that I had paid the provider and they they needed to just call over there and confirm it. They refused to do that and started threatening me. I told them that I do have their number since they said they didnt have it and to please call them. AGAIN... NO! The woman wound up hanging up on me and said they are reporting to my credit bureau. ***!
Horrible company!
Horrible company! Never got a bill so this debt was a surprise. Had to call 3 times, was very patient at first because I get life is crazy. First time my ex husband had to authorize me to talk about this account ok no problem. Called the second time, was told they had to contact the facility and they would call me back (im just trying to pay for it at this point and be done). Never called back. Called the 3rd time told that my ex would have to authorize me AGAIN! Told them he already did that, and they said well he didnt do it the right way, he did it the way THEY TOLD HIM! Finally they said ok, I asked why I couldnt pay online and they said well it was in dispute status...so how are customers supposed to know that or pay it if yall dont allow it? Finally he fixed it and I got it paid, asked for an emailed confirmation. Said the new system could do that but I paid with the old system so I'll get a receipt mailed to me...yea we will see. I'm not mad I had a debt, bill didnt get mailed, life gets screwy I get it, I'm angry that it was such a difficult time just to resolve the problem, and the company seems so out of touch.
In my opinion, this is clearly a criminal organization, that flourishes on a flawed health system
In my opinion, this is clearly a criminal organization, that flourishes on a flawed health system. The world would be a better place without it in the first place. I cannot believe this is a legal entity in this beautiful country. We got a $40 bill from the hospital (which obviously was never billed to us, that was sold to this company. We never got a single notification (mail, email, phone call, SMS, anything) from the hospital or the collection agency about the outstanding balance. We did not notice the FICO score going down as we had student loans at that moment and everything seemed to be normal. Once we noticed the bill, we contacted the agency and paid it off right away. We contacted the Medicredit on multiple occasions to pay it off, and each conversation with the clerks was the rudest, nastiest experience in my life in the US. Coming from a third world country, I remember the feeling of being treated this way, but I never had this type of interaction in America. Just brace yourselves if you will be misfortunate enough to deal with these scammers. The Justice Department should look into this asap. I offer my full cooperation with anyone who will seek to bring them down for their crimes.

I am beyond sorrowful to say that my 23 year old son died on June 21st
I am beyond sorrowful to say that my 23 year old son died on June 21st. He left behind some medical bills from an accident that occured Dec 3rd 2019. One July 20th of 2020 I received a collections notice from Medicredit addressed to my deceased son. I called on that same day (July 20th) and spoke with a woman named Diana who was very kind and sympathetic. She informed me that no further actions would be needed and that she would look it up online to confirm his death. I proceeded to tell her 3 places his death notice and/or obituary was to be found online. On October 17th I received another letter in his name, it had the same amount due and the same account number as the first one. The notice was dishonest in not just one but two things. It said attempts to reach us by mail had failed, obviously that is untrue, it also stated they couldn't reach me by phone... which is funny since I called them. As I received the notice on a Saturday I called on Monday October 19th, this time I talked to a woman named Kristen. She tried to claim that I had in fact not called that office, I can show photocopies of the two notices side by side to show that I had indeed called them. I feel like this is some sort of torture device, let us force a grieving mother to call repeatedly to be treated rudely while she explains that her young unmarried son who had less than 500 dollars has passed away. Since his estate was so small I am the executor of his estate having a notarized small estate affidavit, the first 500 dollars of person's estate can be used to help pay for the burial. Anyone who has had to bury someone can tell you that is a drop in the bucket of the costs. Are they hoping that if they make me do this enough that I'll pay them just to get it to stop?

I received a call that a medical bill had gone to collections and to call back to settle it
I received a call that a medical bill had gone to collections and to call back to settle it. I called the number and was immediately asked by the person I spoke to to provide my name, DOB, and address. I told the person I was happy to do that, but needed some verification that they were a legitimate operation. The agent did not offer any options to do this and basically told me to give him my information, or he wouldn't help me. I hung up and Googled the business to find their real phone number. When I called I spoke to someone else that verified the original contact number as legitimate. I called that number back and spoke to another person that was able to help. I asked to speak to a manager because the original interaction is very problematic from a security standpoint. When they went to transfer my call it was dropped and no one called me back. For a business of this nature, to not have well-defined process for helping someone authenticate who they are and feel comfortable before providing PHI is a huge problem. I get multiple calls every week that are actual scams, so it is important to ensure that I am not just giving this information out without being careful.

This company has been bombarding me with calls about emergency room visits that happened beginning of this year. I have contacted the hospital, and they agreed to remove the charge for the bad services they have provided me with. Actually none. In the meantime, while the process takes time I have paid the balance anyway. This collection company is still calling me and threatening me with collection even known I have paid the balance in full.
I frequently receive calls and robot-recorded voice messages on my personal cell phone, saying that they are calling on behalf of a certain medical facility. I have never been a patient at this facility and I do not owe them any money. I want them to stop calling me but I cannot get through to the business. They constantly change the number they call from so I cannot block them.
Had an account from a hospital sent to this collector without warning. I have asked that the account be sent back to the hospital and MediCredit refuses. I had been making consistent payments to the hospital prior. The hospital told me MediCredit has the ability to send it back to the hospital, but MediCredit refuses.
I have been constantly trying to get this resolved with this company. They keep calling me and sending me bills I do not owe. My account for what they say I owe includes charges on 7/27 for $145.00, on 7/27 for $331.00, and on 8/2 for $230.00. I am on a health plan and Medical I am fully covered. I have called my insurance representative and they even said these bills were paid. This company is also sending these bills under another account number which is not associated with me. My insurance company also sent me the information about my account and it shows I owe nothing. I am tired of being harassed and I want this to stop!

The first part to my complaint is that this company has begun calling me between 3 and 4 am so I have to turn my ringer off to avoid being woke up during *** work week. The second is upon speaking with ***m, I had requested something be sent to me via mail due to this being an amount in addition to a copay paid prior to a procedure (attached) done in Nov 2021. The representative of Medicredit said she would send *** supporting documents to which I have yet to receive. I do not know where *** discrepancy lies, whe***r it be insurance provider, hospital, or simply clerical error. The amount asked was more than my original copay however, if it is not an error and truly owed by me, I have no problem with paying whomever it is owed. Not having been contacted by anyone prior to a collection call gives me reason for pause and I do not feel my requests are unreasonable. I have not moved in 5 years and had *** same phone number since ***. The fact that I would not have been able to even schedule *** procedure without first paying my copay makes me feel more certain that this is quite possibly an error somewhere along *** line. I run an office and am well aware that mistakes occur but can also be traced and corrected with supporting documentation. I just need to know *** who, what, and where regarding *** failure to correct. Thank you for your time.Sincerely

This company has called me about a debt they say I owe to my actual doctor. My doctor says that not only do they not have any debt listed for me, but they dont even use this collection company.
I checked my credit report and noticed I had a collection from MEDICREDIT, INC that was opened in 09/06 for $221.00 with account number starting in *** that I do not recall and am not liable for. I never entered into a signed agreement or completed an original contract with them. This is fraudulent and a violation of my rights. This inaccurate collection is not mine. If you believe this account is mine, prove the validity. I would like all collection activity to cease immediately and for this inaccurate and fraudulent collection to be removed from my credit report or I will file for litigation and report you to the CFPB and FTC.
I have repeatedly informed Medicredit that I filed for bankruptcy and that their persistent calls need to cease. Despite being notified numerous times, they continue to contact me more than five times a day. This behavior is in violation of the new law that came into effect on November 30, which dictates the frequency with which a collection agency is permitted to make contact. They have exceeded the limit of seven calls per week. I have concrete evidence that the trustee and bankruptcy court have sent letters notifying creditors of the meeting, which Medicredit ignored and did not attend. Their relentless pursuit has not abated even though they are aware of my stage 1 cancer diagnosis and my struggles with PTSD and clinical depression. Their actions have compelled me to seek emergency medical assistance, and Medicredit's conduct has been nothing short of harassment.
On 7/31 I called Medicredit to payoff account balance
On 7/31 I called Medicredit to payoff account balance . The agent that I spoke to offered a settlement amount to satisfy the account in full. A payment was made in full for the agreed amount and I was told the account would be updated paid and full and removed. Not even a week later I receive another alert of balance remaining from Medicredit. A second call is placed to another rep inquiring why there is a balance if I settled account in full. I was told the previous rep did not process the payment correctly and I needed to speak to that rep to apply a credit reflecting settlement offered. After a back and forth hassle I was able to reach that rep who stated she was sending an email for the balance to be credited to the department that credits and it would and a few days. A week goes by and another notification is sent for sane balance remaining. Fourth call is made only to be told previous rep still didn't update the account correctly and their credit department didn't understand the rep notes. On this call rep states since the call is recorded they could back and listen to the call to verify what was offered and adjust the account . Almost a month later still no resolution to fix this issue done by your rep incorrectly. Each follow up rep I spoke to promised a follow-up call that never happened. I've requested a speak to a supervisor only to be told an email will be sent and someone would follow up which never happened.

Hello, I'd like to file a complaint. For starters, I never signed any form of papers agreeing to services provided, nor did I have a contract with the service provider. I never requested the service provided by medical personnel, yet I'm being charged and am in debt because of it. I'm in debt because someone else made the choice or call, not me. I've still yet to be shown any documents with my signature on them requesting these services.
To put it simply, it's like this: you break down on the side of the road out of gas, someone picks you up and takes you wherever, then you get a bill for transporting you to wherever, yet you didn't ask for it nor want it; it was offered to you. So, when someone has an accident and EMTs tell you the hospital in town can't do anything for your injuries, you're taking a flight to another city hospital when you didn't ask for it. Yet now you're in debt $67,000, with no proof of me asking for that or signing for the services ever provided, nor did I sign a release of medical information to this company.
They are calling claiming to collect a debt for a company I do not recognize and urging me to call a certain number. My health care provider is not Good Samaritan, and I believe this to be a scam. I would like these calls to cease immediately.

I don't know why you are still giving me this "other than you" feedback. I AM ME! and I'm asking you to delete the fraudulent accounts that I saw on my credit reports. I attached documents such as IDs, SSN, and my POA. I'm getting annoyed with this [censored] you are giving me. You are avoiding deleting the accounts that I keep on reporting and giving me the same feedback! Delete the accounts that I am reporting and I'm only giving you 15 days, you are testing my patience! Again, These are the accounts that you must block because I DID NOT AUTHORIZE ANYONE TO USE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION hence, these are all fraudulent accounts! MEDICREDIT , Balance $0.00 Account Number
This creditor has failed to provide me with a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical records and or information to you. Also has failed to provide a copy of the contract of buying this debit from the original creditor.
Hey, I have asked Medicredit to validate the alleged debt that they claim that I owe, and they have failed to prove every document I'm requesting therefore they cannot prove is mine. They have violated me as a consumer in the worst way. Attached is the letter too. I need this account removed now because it's 100% inaccurate & 100% unverifiable. Cease all collection activity.

I have been reaching out to MediCredit several times today trying to settle my debt for a deletion on my credit report and a letter stating this
I have been reaching out to MediCredit several times today trying to settle my debt for a deletion on my credit report and a letter stating this. They have done nothing but give me the run around. The first lady I talked to refused to help me and was not so pleasant to me. I got so upset, but I choose to call *** and ask them if they could help me. *** informed me MediCredit has to be the ones to take it of my creditf. So I got my mom to help me with this issue because it has upset me so much. We are trying to buy a house and this is affecting our credit They said it was not in their policy to delete it off my credit but after speaking to *** this was not true. *** informed me MediCredit is the only one to take it off. As it shows on my credit report "MediCredit". And my husband has a account with them, that needs to be removed as well but again not wanting to help remove it from my credit report. I was also informed by a rep I didn't know what I was talking about when asking about the deletion. I'm not asking for much, I have settled my debt with *** but still no help from MediCredit- on my account or my husbands. This is unacceptable and not a good company to work with. We have spoke to two reps and a manager- all say they cannot help. My husband and I are trying to purchase a home. No one seems to want to help. I need this resolved from both accounts to purchase a house. I have explain during this time, my aunt passed away in a car accident and we a very dramatic experience for our family. Honestly I forgot about the bill, till now. I am trying very hard to fix this but MediCredit has made it so difficult. I am not pleased with the customer service or the willingness to help their customers.

My wife has been tirelessly contacting MediCredit to resolve our account issues
My wife has been calling MediCredit for the last week and a half, trying to fix her account and mine as well. Today she was so upset, because we were told if we don't get this collection removed from both of our credits we will not be able to get the house we found. So she called on her phone. The rep she first spoke to was nice and understanding, even as my wife sobbed. She in fact told my wife, that since both accounts were paid in full we could receive a deletion and a letter. My wife had the phone on speaker and I heard the lady as well. My wife started crying more because she felt the issue was finally being resolved and we could go forward with purchasing our house. The rep told my wife, "I'm going to transfer you to a manager to get this started for you, one moment". We were both crying happy tears, but then when the next lady came on the phone, my wife explained everything again. That rep informed my wife no they cannot do this. Even after being told they could. She has spent so much time going back and forth between calls and MediCredit trying to clear this up and get a deletion. We did the right thing and paid the debt. And for someone to tell her yes they can delete it from both accounts to a non-compassionate person that got a little upset with her for saying it and said no. I have noticed doing research you can help with this, for example, a complaint (on Complaintsboard.com) sent on various dates. Last year was a very hard time in our family due to family issues and deaths to close family members. It's very hard for her to keep explaining it but she has to try to help MediCredit understand this wasn't on purpose. Also, we have sent certified letters in the mail on both our accounts. I just ask for a deletion like what was said by your rep, please. Our future counts on this. Both the accounts have been paid in full.

On the date of 3/31/2022 I sent a letter to Medicredit *** via certified mail, regarding debt they claim I owe. I asked them to please verify that this debt was indeed mine. That letter was delivered on April 13th (screenshot). On the date of 5/27/2022 I received a letter from Medicredit *** stating that they had received my dispute & were investigating the matter, along with several bills.Medicredit *** is in direct violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) because (1) they did not respond to my letter within the legal time frame laid out in the *** (2) they provided no proof that this debt is in fact mine & (3) failed to furnish statements as to my rights as laid out in Section 809: (3), (4), & (5)The FDCPA clearly states: Within five days after the initial communication with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt, a debt collector shall, unless the following information is contained in the initial communication or the consumer has paid the debt, send the consumer a written notice containing --(1) the amount of the debt;(2) the name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed;(3) a statement that unless the consumer, within thirty days after receipt of the notice, disputes the validity of the debt, or any portion thereof, the debt will be assumed to be valid by the debt collector;(4) a statement that if the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, the debt collector will obtain verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment against the consumer and a copy of such verification or judgment will be mailed to the consumer by the debt collector; and (5) a statement that, upon the consumer's written request within the thirty-day period, the debt collector will provide the consumer with the name and address of the original creditor, if different from the current creditor.

In checking my credit report I noticed a collection account from Medi-Credit
In checking my credit report I noticed a collection account from Medi-Credit. They handle collections for *** I had a hospital visit in 02/20 at the ***, and had a co-pay of $200. I thought that was paid that evening. I received a call from Medi-Credit in November, but I thought it was a scam as I had no idea I owed money to anyone. I immediately called *** Health Billing to confirm, and they said had $200 bill but had incorrect address on file for any mailings. I let them know I needed to check bank statements for 02 because thought I paid that on 02/20 at the hospital. I than called Medi-Credit to them know I spoke with the hospital regarding bill. I asked medi-credit why I did not have anything sent to me for almost 1.5 years. Medi-Credit also had incorrect address on file. They updated it when I called. I called *** Health billing and made $100 payment on dec 3 and on december 10 per their records. I called Medi-Credit and let them know as well. The hospital says they sent medi-credit the collection in Jan 2021, and medicredit says did not get until September . I was seen all the way back on 02/20 and no one reached out to me at all until Medi Credit called in November when I spoke with them. This is an issue between *** health and medicredit computer systems. Today 1/6/2022 I spoke with medi credit and they said my payment received 12/24, yet it was paid on 12/10 with *** Health. The hospital said this should have never been sent to my credit report, and not sure how medicredit system does not talk to *** health system right away, if payment made on 12/10 and medicredit shows 12/24. That is a two period, and the fact I never received any billing notices in the mail or even phone calls in January is not my fault, and now my credit report is hit 30 points for this collection.

I called Medicredit on 5/11, and while speaking with a phone agent (on a recorded call) regarding two accounts that I had that were placed
I called Medicredit on 5/11, and while speaking with a phone agent (on a recorded call) regarding two accounts that I had that were placed with Medicredit, I asked whether the company offered a payment for deletion option. The phone advisor informed me that the company does offer that option, however, the balances must be paid in full (not settled for a lesser amount) in order to be eligible to receive a payment for deletion letter from Medicredit. I agreed to pay one of the accounts in full on that day and I requested for the payment for deletion letter to be sent to me (I believe I may have requested for it to be emailed), then I advised the phone agent that I would call back in two weeks to pay the second account in full to receive a payment for deletion letter for that account as well. I confirmed the first payment on that call, and the agent confirmed that I would receive the letter promised to me. Eager to make the second payment, I ended up calling back on 5/21 (earlier than the two weeks that I had previously agreed to call back) and I spoke with another phone agent, ***. While speaking to ***, I mentioned that I wanted to pay the second account in full and receive a payment for deletion letter for the second account as well and *** informed me that in all of her years of working at Medicredit, it has never been their practice to extend a payment for deletion letter under any circumstances. Based on that information, I informed *** that I would wait to make the second payment and I instead requested for *** to open a request for me to have a manager pull the record on my recorded 5/11 call and listen to the conversation between the agent and myself. I was requesting for Medicredit to honor the promise that their phone agent had made to me on that day for both of the accounts that I had on file. *** agreed to open the request and informed me that a manager would call me back to follow up upon reviewing my recorded phone call. I never received a call back. I ended up having to call again to follow up since I never received a returned phone call, and a phone agent advised me that the company was not going to send me a letter. However, I still proceeded to pay the second account in full, so I no longer have any debts with this company.

After faithfully paying on a hospital bill $200 a month every month for over a year and being in constant contact with this company during that
After faithfully paying on a hospital bill $200 a month every month for over a year and being in constant contact with this company during that time, my spouse and I lost our jobs due to COVID-19. I called them immediately on 4/9 to ask for a deferment for a few months until we could get back on our feet. The man I spoke with, ***, said no worries "we are offering a program for 3 months of deferred payments", I said great thank you so much and he "put me on hold" to confirm, he said I could defer until June, I specifically ask him if this would be reported to my credit and he said no. On 4/18 I received a letter in the mail stating that my account was seriously delinquent and they have been trying to contact me. This was not true no one had contacted between 4/9 and the receipt of the letter. I called on 4/18 and left a voicemail for someone to call me back regarding this matter. The following Monday 4/20 I still had not gotten a call back so I called them and spoke with a lady told her the situation and told her the concern about the letter. She stated it had been "coded" wrong in the system and she would make notes and get it fixed. I specifically asked her if this would be reported to the credit bureau, she said no because I had been in contact with them. 2 hours later on the same day I received a phone call from *** from the same company asking me why I stopped making payments, I told her I had just spoke with someone and thought they had it all straightened out. She said she couldn't see any of those notes and she was now "updating my file", I ask again if this would be reported to my the credit bureau, she said no. Today 5/6 my credit score tank and when I inquired why, MEDICREDIT had reported me for unpaid balance! I called and spoke with a supervisor, Colleen, who told me I never should have been told it wouldn't be reported because it would if I stopped making payments. I told her I had only missed one payment and was told I had a deferment until June and she said that still would not stop it from being reported! Why in the hell would I call and ask for a deferment if it was still going on my credit?! The sad thing is I have never avoided their calls or letters and was trying to pay my bill and do the right thing and keep my credit score. If I had been told in the beginning when I called on 4/9 that it would be reported I would have tried to do something different. This company has dishonest business practices, having 3 different representatives telling me something and the supervisor telling me something different.

The customer service is terrible. The representative is very unprofessional. This issue was settled back in September, and they are calling again about a remaining balance. This has been a hassle and this business is a joke.
the customer service is horrible they are rude and unprofessional.
