MetLife Short term disability

I have sent in every paper asked for. I have paid for short term disability every paycheck for almost 2 years. Since somewhat approved starting 8/7, with supporting paperwork out until 10/6. I have gotten 2 weeks worth of pay. And at that $400 short of that pay. It started with them not even starting with the surgeon until the beginning of September. With an excuse every call as to why. Most companies use them for benefits, and we fall for it because we want to protect our family and home, if something would god forbid happen. However the fight of your life will begin when something does. Everyone I speak to via phone, email, facebook, never responds. I suggest Aflac, or Colonial to protect you, otherwise you will not be able to pay your bills, healthcare, rehab, vet bills, etc.

MetLife Complaining about a withdrawal for my 401a plan

I made a withdrawal from my 401a plan and I wanted to deposit the funds to my IRA account with Schwabb bank, I made this with drawal in 6, 25, 2021, the withdrawal is pending, my human resource at my hospital is working from home, I need a adminstrator signature, is that my responsibility, I thought not because the form is made up by MetLife. MetLife Incorrect adjustment to my payroll withdrawal

I recently received a letter from MetLife stating they were raising the price of my weekly deduction by $23.74.
I immediately called MetLife and was told it was because I hadn't made a payment on June 23, 2021.
I am on automatic payroll deduction, but told the person I spoke to that I would pull my check stubs and verify if this had indeed happened. I have that payroll stub and the deduction was taken from my paycheck correctly.
I want my money back. MetLife has begun taking $105.38 from my paycheck starting this week, instead of the correct amount of $82.64.
I need someone to contact me immediately regarding this situation. This situation was handled very unprofessionally and to say the least I am unhappy with your service at this time.

MetLife Lack of customer service by email

MetLife mailed to me instructions on how to register my account.

I go through the registration process and it rejects it

Yet I'm entering the very same information, name address soc sec number that they send my payment to and mail things to.

Something about "cannot verify" it says.

Then the ever present "call Us" (pretty sure that won't work since I cannot hear).

Desired outcome: MetLife should get Customer Service that actually works for the Customer.

MetLife Surrender life insurance policy 213172178 usv

I am Kha Pham who is the owner of Metlife line insurance. I requested to surrender the policy on 22July2021. First request at [protected] and sent surrender form through the email [protected]@metlife.com on 22Jul21. Then I received the mail including the Surrender Form from Ms. Michelle W. on Friday 30Jul21, but the letter date on 23Jul21. I immediately sent Surrender Form with the Express Mail Option through US Post Office on 02Aug21. Since then I NEVER receive my Surrender Check until now. I called at [protected] more than 5 time and one time sent complaint email [protected]@metlife.com on 17Aug to seek for helps, but I only receive that no response from the email, and the response from the customer services are you need to wait and keep waiting because we are working and request Brighthouse Financial without any responses. I mention to them do I need to involve the lawyer for helps, they said If you want to because that is all we can do - request and waiting for the financial department answers

Desired outcome: I am seek promise response from Metlife Brighthouse that when I can receive my surrender check?

MetLife 2 x policies ([protected] & v27094136

1st policy in subject was bought from Alico rep in Abu Dhabi on face value under pension program, the rep disappeared after 2 years reasons unknown till date, upon approaching Alico office in Abu Dhabi, Ashwini Kumar cleverly sold me another policy (2nd one in subject) promising he will merge the 1st policy into the 2nd which later he denied when I saw it didn't happen.
Upon asking contacts to approach complaints Dept within UAE, I was repeatedly denied which giving me false hopes that they are trying.
Moreover, no rep of yours informed me that there is a deduction every month against Insurance coverage which was not needed or demanded by me at any point and time.
Customers buy policies upon your reps repeated approach on face value while it is a hard fact that these policies are not thoroughly read by customers (maybe a mere percentage worldwide)
Now upon maturity of 1st policy I was expecting to get full amount deposited with Alico while I am getting only around 50%
2nd policy the deduction is further huge while I am getting only about 50% of the total deposited amount.
In light of above facts, I am utterly disappointed with the approach of Alico/MetLife where they have no room for giving any consideration to customer grievances.
With hope, MetLife being a Global organization, I rest my case with MetLife USA HO to do justice to my case, as it is very hard earned money being taken away for no reason.
Note: I don't have a single medical/Insurance claim in the past at any single time as was not needed

MetLife Long term disability insurance

Please file a complaint with your State's insurance Department. Immediately. Posting here is not going to help. Metlife long term disability are a bunch of criminals. I can't believe that I work for a place that uses them and has paid them for so many years. Please file a complaint with your States Insurance Department. Please do it now. They have gotten away with this for too long.

MetLife Metlife will not provide copy of my policy-going on 4 years!!! Why

We have been trying to get a copy of our policy for 4 years now with no action to date except MetLife return the $25 check they requested to get the copy of the policy...they deposited the check, then sent a refunded check back to us! We are at the point to start taking Legal Action! We pay our premium every month...DID THEY LOSE THE POLICY! Is anyone else experiencing this terrible customer service?

Desired outcome: We want a copy of our policy.....we had a house fire years ago and it was burned.

MetLife Explanation of the dental benefits

I called to Midlife [protected] and requested an explanation of the claim for the crow which was installed 4 year ago. I spoke with representative 15 days ago (Adriana) and she said she needs 10-15 days to pull the info from archive. When I called 15 days latter, the new rep (Tony) said I need to send them a written requires to pull the info from archive. When I asked for supervisor, he handed up on my. I still have no benefit's explanation! Terrible customer service compare to other Dental insurance! Some one in Metlife, please help me to get the benefit explanation.

MetLife Short term Disability Claim Processor

I am completely disappointed with my experience with this company. The claim processor over my claim made several errors which resulted in my claim not being processed in a timely manner. I had to escalate my issues to a manager before my claim was processed and a payment was issued. When a payment was finally issued the processor sent it to an incorrect address which caused further delays in me getting a payment. This issue has been ongoing for over a month and now I have penalties and late fees on my bills because of this. To date I still have not received my payment.

MetLife Metlife Dental claim

I claimed orthodontic service on January 15th 2021, this was never resolved for unknown reason until today the June 15ht 2021. I spent hours on the line with different supervisors and all what they say - now it will definitely will be resolved in 5 business days. And NOTHING CHANGES, AND I HAVE TO CALL AGAIN AND AGAIN AND THE STORY IS ALWAYS SIMILAR. The difference is, each supervisor lies in their own manner, but the salt of the story always remains the same - 5 moths since i claimed and no resolution so far.

Im on the phone trying to resolve a claim for the same thing and it’s been a year! They literally will not reimburse us for our $1000 orthodontic and keep saying they are processing claim it takes 10-15 days and then they kick the claim back every time for some error which I correct and then get a different BS excuse and the 10-15 processing crap again.

MetLife Accident policy

Impossible to file a claim - website wont display form to fillout - have called 2 days in a row- VRU system is horrible if you say accident they send you to dental- i have 3+ hours invested in trying to get help and all that happens is I am transferred around in circles and today in the middle of them taking the same info over and over the disconnected me - the offshore support is horrible, the VRU is horrible and the website doesnt work in Chrome, Edge or firefox

Unable to provide reason why all claims are denied no payment of short term disability for 60 days however I am the customer! Numerous doctors have filled out forms and none have been acceptable! Jason West, a BA in government has been unable to comprehend the information, process the claim or get adequate help in processing the claim effectively or efficiently in which conditions are worsened due to the stress of no income...

MetLife Future gold insurance

I discovered that Metlife branch in Jordan has adjusted the premium I pay for the future gold policy without informing me and in violation of the investment policy agreement I have with them.
Once discovered, I went to the company to file a complaint. The action taken by them was to ask me to send an official email which took them a long time to respond to (around a month).
Today I received a response from the legal department admitting to the error and stating that they will waiver the payment for 2019 and 2020, but that I need to pay the full value in 2021. Their legal letter is even wrong because I did pay the higher fees for 2020 which were above what was stated in the policy agreement, but in 2021 I refused to pay it.

I believe there is foul play in their operation in Jordan and they need to be investigated or audited.

Desired outcome: Formally notify the head office in USA.

Overseas customer service is atrocious. Woman would not connect me with her supervisor unless I gave her both my full SSAN and DOB! Tried reaching out to other contacts via company listing to no avail. Disgusting customer service!

MetLife Auto Claims

Herb McLeod. My claim number is SLR05422IL. This is my second complaint regarding miscommunication with Agent Laura Taylor. My first complaint was verbal to your Complaint Department. I am writing because I was told that my deductible would only be $100 as opposed to the $500.

MetLife Life insurance

I was given a 1099-R form for 2020 saying that I had been given a Gross Distribution of $186, 494.24 and when I called they said I had cancelled my life insurance policy # [protected] A and was given $45, 000.58 as a surrender amount. I have called my bank and there is no record of that amount ever having been deposited in my account. I have asked in numerous emails and phone calls for a copy of that check, the endorsement and where the money went. I can never get them to respond.

On January 31, 2019 I had sent them a letter asking that future dividends be applied to the loan principal and any loan interest. Apparently they did not do this.

Desired outcome: I want the life insurance policy reinstated and information as to who got that money if it was ever really cashed.

MetLife Customer Service

Regularly on hold for 35-60 minutes. Anytime you get transferred or request a supervisor they either disconnect you or promise to call back and NEVER wrong information is consistenly given out. Today as i was waiting 10 minutes to be transferred i was transferred to a recording that said"hello, i cant hear you please try the number again and disconnected

MetLife Burial insurance

I canceled both of our policy's I have asked for refund and they will not send my refund
Policy HSW103486. And HSW10487
I took out a policy for my husband Dick McCartney and one for me And they never paid for my husband who passed March 27, 2020, so I called them and requested a cancellation for my husband and for me!
I took them out at Halley Olsen in Lancaster, CA their number is 661-942-1139 . They told me I could get my money back from the insurance Co! However I have been trying to get my refund back for months!

MetLife Insurance

My doctor sent MetLife my off work order (twice) and they refuse to acknowledge it. They owe a months worth of pay. They have not communicated with my work Rio Tinto and I just received my second letter from my employer telling me I am on "unapproved leave." I have cc'd both Roi Tinto and MetLife to no avail. I cannot get anyone to call me back or address these issues.
