Michaelis Corporation did all the work they promised, exactly when they promised, and took great care of the surrounding plants and lawn to leave the worksite as neat as it was before they started.

Work was done according to the contract. My son-in-law interacted with the workers and inspected to see that all was well. I just paid the *** no more raccoons under my house as that is a nasty job

Outstanding service and communication. They were quick to respond and got my job completed quickly. All of their service providers were courteous and professional. The work performed was top quality. I highly recommend them and will use them again.

Ive used Michaelis twice. Once for water damage and repair and recently for some remodeling. They listen to my concerns and work with me. Theyre careful and considerate and both times finished earlier than their estimate. I highly recommend this business.

Michaelis Corporation helped us when we had a major water leak in our kitchen. The service was excellent, starting with the first phone call to the service techs that came to our house. They were friendly, respectful, on-time and knowledgeable.

My 47 year old home had developed "bouncy floors." Michaelis fixed the problem on the very first try. They always conducted themselves in a professional and business like manner. The men who did the work were terrific. Price? They were thousands, thousands below Indiana Foundation's price!

A person came out in July to take pictures of the damage. He told us he would have an estimate for us in 2 weeks and we never heard back from him. We ended up using someone else. This was very disappointing because we had heard good things about this company. However, they did not come through for us.

Michaelis was called to complete/repair the work of a previous contractor who lhad left us high and dry with an unfinished project.Michaelis showed up on time, performed the job in a very knowledgeable and professional manner. Additionally, *** and *** were extremely pleasant to work with. We will be calling Michaelis for all future home improvement projects.

We had several settlement and water seepage problems in our circa 1900 basement. Michaelis came out and inspected the property and came up with great solutions to solve the issues.Their team came out and implemented these solutions. They did an excellent job with the remedy and repair of the complex situation. We are a couple of weeks out now and the repairs seem to have solved all the issues we were having.This is a great team to work with!

We purchased our 70 yr old home in May . Though the sloping floors were inspected and the engineer who was hired to make any needed repairs said the floors were stable and nothing needed to be done, I just had an uneasy feeling. I called Michaelis to get a second opinion and if anything just for peace of mind. From the moment Nick came out to inspect and give a quote, to the follow up calls from Bill and Tom, I felt very comfortable and trusted what they had recommended. I am so glad I called them! I feel much more comfortable knowing my floors are supported and not going anywhere. Thank you so much!

A contractor did repair work for us in the fall of 2019. They claimed they would coordinate with our insurance to ensure we only paid our due. However, they failed to bill our insurance, instead sending us a final bill grossly exceeding our deductible with over 30% of the work, like cabinet and mirror replacement, not done. The tile grouting was poorly done, resembling amateur work. When questioned, they ceased communication. Later, they demanded payment and threatened collections. This company is disreputable, and I advise against using their services.

This company has some of the best tradespeople in Indianapolis. They may be a little pricier than some others, but they add the right level of overhead and project management, with top-quality tradespeople, so the work is not only done right, but the attention to detail is wonderful, cleanliness attended to, with consideration for this being your home and not just a job site. We moved into our most recent home last year, built 130 years ago, and it's needed some serious attention, so we've had Michaelis out multiple times for very different projects. We had water damage that affected roofing, exterior decking, siding, and two stories of interior. We've also renovated a room with an original fireplace in it. Roofing work. Siding. We call Michaelis every time. As a homeowner of several houses over the last 15 years, I haven't come across a more reliable, professional group of people. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a water intrusion issue in my basement concrete wall which had a crack in it. I also had a issue with concrete eroding at my front door step.I called Indiana Foundation for repair and Nick S from Michaelis showed up. I had never heard of Michaelis before. The sales rep said they could take care of both issues easily. They sent a technician to repair the concrete step and install their special wall crack system to take care of water intrusion issue. Both repairs were disasters. The wall crack repair didn't solve the water intrusion and caused more harm than good. Whatever the tech did didn't work. His concrete didn't set up and was like clay for a week until i called and complained. The front step work didn't look professional and concrete started to crumble. The next time it rained hard my basement flooded and caused considerable damage. Water started coming over my crawl space access opening and not going into my sump pump pit. It always did before. The wall crack system he installed didn't weep any water into sump pit. They sent a different tech to repair both bad concrete issues. The first tech told me he had never done a wall crack repair before and this was his first. The new tech did a excellent job of repair and felt the first tech should have had someone with him with experience. I called another company to investigate water intrusion and they immediately found where water was coming in at. Michaelis could not find it and seemed to think that the wall crack system was sufficient to handle issue. The General manager of Michaelis came out to investigate my complaint and said that I should have told them that water was coming from the access opening. Well it never has before until your wall crack system was installed. He said that he would get back with me after he talked to sales rep. I've been waiting now for over two weeks to hear back from him. I have since had a sump pump installed into my crawl space with full perimeter drain by another company. Michaelis miss diagnosed my problem and sent a inexperienced worker with bad workmanship to do the job causing considerable and unnecessary pain and monetary loss for me. Finally, I have called both the sales rep and general manager a number of times and they have not returned my calls. I'm sure somehow it is the homeowners fault for not explaining what the problem is and not the professional fault for not diagnosing it correctly or fixing it.

I made a deal with Michaelis Corp to fix my leaky roof and get rid of mold on Feb 7th 2022 for $14,465.69. They cashed my 50% deposit check on Feb 15th 2022. I had to call the project manager because the site wasn't secured properly and the interior damage was getting worse while waiting for the roof repair. I hired ELC Home repair on 3/23 to secure the area against further interior damage. I paid ELC *** for plywood and labor to stop further interior damage. They installed a new rubber roof membrane on 3/28. I'm worried about the rubber membrane installation. I asked Michaelis Corp for a signed and dated warranty for the rubber membrane, but I haven't received it yet. I also want paperwork that says my membrane install was done by roofers trained and certified in rubber membrane install so I know it meets the standard required by the rubber membrane manufacturer to have a valid warranty from them. There are issues with the mold remediation that need to be clarified. I want to know what kind of post treatment certification I get on job completion. I tried to resolve issues with the project manager, the estimator for the job, and a sales manager. I even called the company owner because the work to date seems out of character from the Michaelis reputation. I haven't had my phone calls returned and would appreciate any help you can give me to address my issues.
