Incredible products, great customer service and wonderful sales. As an accomplished quilter, this is my go-to source for anything I can't find at my local quilt store. It's a family-owned company and their customer service is very responsive. They did have some shipping delays in the summer of 2022 and addressed it by offering bundled shipping; a huge plus! Their five dollar shipping rate is now good for a week, so if you see a deal of the day a couple of days in a row you only pay shipping once. It reduces their shipping costs, is environmentally responsible and reduces the number of packages on my porch. Wonderful company!

I have used this online quilt shop for years. My orders have usually been correct. I have had two errors in all the many many orders *** made. I contacted the company by email and the errors were quickly rectified. I received the Christmas box for the first time this year. I went into it with eyes wide open, knowing the items would be surprises. Although a few of the items were things I already have or just wouldnt use; I felt the price of the box was within line of the cost. Items I didnt want made lovely gifts for my friends. I stand by this company. I know that mistakes sometimes happen but I feel they work hard to make things right.

I've been a patron of MSQC since 2016. They have the best customer service and, when they mess up - which is rarely, they own it and make things right. Reading through the negative reviews for the Countdown to Christmas box, though, makes me wonder if these people bought one, especially the reviewer who said the contents were more for a child. They were anything but! This was my first Box and I loved every gift. This doesn't mean that I will use every gift - some of the projects seemed daunting and I've sewn a lot (hence the disbelief that anyone would claim the gifts were best suited for a child). Spoiler Alert: Here are a few of the gifts: The perpetual calendar was cute and very useful. The leather change purse turned out to be quite fun to make. They gave us a glass ornament in the shape of one of MSQC's building. Also, a zippered hard-case storage container. We received a charm pack of 42/5" square fabrics (charm packs usually cost upwards to $12) to make a table runner, with lots of fabric leftover for other projects. Also, a small, glass *** jar filled with colorful buttons. This became a pin cushion using fabric scraps and stuffing. There were also white buttons from this jar for another project (snowflake pillow). You received the dark blue fabric for that, as well. In another bag was a yard of white on white dotted fabric that one could use with other projects. Another gift was a parking sign that read, "Parking for Quilters Only. All Others Will Be Pressed To The Dark Side"! There were cool sewing-themed gadgets, with one costing $22 if purchased through Amazon. There was a mug, a beautiful tray featuring MSQC slogans, and an iron cleaner, among other cool items. Overall, I was very happy with my Countdown to Christmas box and I will be buying another one next year.To see the gifts for yourself, go to MSQC's website and scroll down the first page. I paid for *** 2-day shipping because I needed my merchandise in two days! On the third business day, after a weekend, I went online and noticed my merchandise was NOT shipped. When I contacted them, I was told that part of the order was back ordered and the other part had not been cut!UNBELIEVABLE! I don't usually pay for 2-day shipping but when I do it is because I need the merchandise. I was told that it is day-2 shipping ONLY after the product is packaged and shipped. This organization does NOT state this when they advertise 2-day shipping! I will NEVER use Missouri Star Quilt Company again. I have had much better results from Etsy sellers!

Such an amazing company! They carry high quality products and they have the best customer service! One phone call and anything that needs addressed is quickly taken care of. Shipping is good and they recently added a new bundle service to allow customers to purchase items over a week span to be combined for free shipping. They have one of the lowest minimum shipping rates of online companies. They offer free tutorials to customers. They often offer additional % off, even sale items, with codes they provide via email/text/FB. I can't say enough good things about this company. They are an amazing family owned business and I highly recommended them.

I have never had a complaint that wasnt handled professionally and quickly. Longarm quilt services take a bit but, I believe it is worth it. I love the Daily Deals and the fact that we can hold shipping of purchases to assist with reducing the cost of shipping. Love the Down family!
MSQ is one of my go to stores. Im getting at least one shipment per week from them. Sometimes it takes extra time in transit, but that is nor their fault. Any time I have had to contact customer service I have been more than satisfied with the results. My only complaint is that it is too easy to buy from them and I have no self control. Thank you team for all you do!

I'm barely convinced this is a real company. I made two orders for the same product about a month apart from this company and the items I received were way different. I emailed them on 7/7 and did not get a reply until 7/15. Further, I tried to call but their phone customer service was not available. On 7/19 they said they would resend the correct item but two weeks later I have not received any indication that they are doing that, no tracking number, package, etc. I tried to call again and they gave an estimated wait time of 8 minutes to talk to someone, after waiting 23 minutes the recording says they are having technical issues and to please email them, then it hung up on me.

Amazing customer service. Shipping time is fair to good. If something was broken, missing or never showed up it was replaced quickly. Products are good to excellent. If I am stuck while doing a product I can call customer service and they will help me through it. I can call them for ideas or questions and there is an option if I just wanna talk. No one is perfect ok, but this company is pretty dang close. And the Christmas Box is phenomenal with items more than I paid for and a heck of a lot of fun ! I have done the Christmas box for the last 3 years and plan on doing it again next year. I just really cant say enough about this company. There is a lot to check out and learn and is ever growing. It is a caring company and fun.

My orders are prompt and never damaged, all the instructions for their quilt patterns are easy to understand and the videos are AMAZING! My husband and I are planning a trip for the spring so that I can shop in person! I am so excited! I received the wrong fabric in one order and I called and got the BEST customer service! Not only did they send the correct fabric but they wouldn't even let me send the other back! I know threaten my son about putting the Buccaneers fabric in with the *** Patriots and *** fabric, he doesn't think I am funny, but, lol... The fabrics were all red, white and blue so it's an easy mistake.

The *** have brought back a dead town, provided many jobs, helped many Entrepreneurs setup businesses within the community. They have brought joy and love to evenmore people throughout the world with their tutorials and other videos. While I have only shopped with them online I look forward to visiting them in person in the future. Oh, and the Christmas box was fun, with Unexpected items. While I have duplicate items now from the box I received many more items that not only are useful they made more Christmas memories and projects to enjoy for the rest of the year. It was a box filled with presents we did know what they were until we opened them one at a time.

While I am sure it was disheartening and very disappointing to feel like you've ***, I would like to remind everyone that we have been in a pandemic and everyone in every company is having to "make do". Unfortunately quality and accuracy becomes sacrificed. I have had errors made on orders by MSQC, but I have ALWAYS been able to resolve the issue with their customer service. As far as the Christmas boxes go, I have bought them every year they have been offered. I know for a fact that the value of the items far exceeds what they are charging. I have been a customer of *** for quite a few years now and I think a little compassion and understanding of the times we are living in might put things in a little different perspective.

On August 11 I ordered off of a daily deal as of September 9 when I reached out the first time I was told my order was overseen and it would be worked on and sent out. Sent email to customer service with no reply. Today September 13 I called customer service again the agent laughed what I was trying to tell her what was going on. Was told that I would not receive my shipment due to their error of over selling. And I shouldve been informed. Yet I never received an email or a phone call or any information regarding this. If I wouldnt of called todayI wouldve not been refunded . I just like people to be aware if you do order something to please stay on top of it or this may happen to you as well.

I am sooooo upset with this business - I will not even bother to watch their videos anymore. I will find another FAMILY business that cares about my business. Snarky is the best work I can think of when it comes to a live customer service *** also love to hang up on you when THEY cannot grasp the issue you are trying to explain. I have been a quilter less than 6 years. With MSQC's videos, I have learned so much!I have bought the Christmas Advent box in 2021 and 2022. There have been so many helpful, interesting, and fun items in both boxes. The boxes are my Christmas gift from my husband. I am thoroughly glad to have he box both years. I love receiving a different, surprise gift from my husband every day! Next year, he already knows to order it as my Christmas gift from him. And like I said, their videos have helped me immensely in my various stages of learning .Someday, I hope to be able to visit *** to shop in ***'s stores and see some of the quilts from the videos in person, I see so many negative comments about MSQC and their Christmas box... Makes me wonder if they really did buy a box or have a grudge for some reason - but they are truly not living the Christmas spirit .

I have ordered from MSQC almost from the start of their company. I have had very few problems and when I did it was fixed immediately. Yes, their shipping has had some recent issues but no matter where you order from today there will be issues. They have gone above and beyond to help me no matter what it was. I struggled for several month not being able to get emails from them and they did every thing they could to help me resolve the issue and we finally got it fixed. I love their videos and have learned so much from all they offer. It is definitely one of the best companies out there if you are going to shop on line. And frankly THE best in person shopping experience you could ever hope for! Yes, if you want it now, that can be a problem if you dont have a local store or one that you can drive to, to pick up something, but you cant beat their inventory. I have never been dissatisfied from anything I have purchased from here. I love MSQC and all they have to offer. I will continue to order from MSQC and will not miss any of their videos! This year I visited MSQC personally and I saw firsthand how wonderful and generous this family run business treats their customers. *** also ordered online from them several times, and I ordered the *** Box for the first time this past year. I knew going in that it was going to be a mystery as to what I got. I was really surprised by what was in it, and enjoyed the thought put into each item. Not every item is something Ill personally use (hand sewing is a four letter word for me!) but I know others who will like them! I think the poor reviews are people who dont understand business and have never worked in a situation where their job involved relying on third parties to do things, like delivery. MSQC cannot control that. Do things take longer to arrive than from Amazon? Yes they do, however Amazon is a multi billion dollar company whose owner owns his own Hawaiian island he can afford his own delivery trucks and airplanes. When I order from MSQC, I know that Im getting a great product and that Im supporting a wonderful small family run business that has revitalized a little town from the brink of extinction. If I cant shop at my local quilt shop, Missouri Star Quilt Company is the next best option!

MSQC updated their computers system in June-July and my only 2 orders have suffered since then. In one order I had used my Quilters' Cash and after 3 weeks they informed me that they had oversold the product and more was on backorder. 2 weeks later another email stating that the product was no longer available and I had 3 days to choose a refund of Quilter's Cash or to my credit card as the default method. I didn't read the email within the 3 days so patiently waited for the refund and it still wasn't there by Sept 1st. I called and after being on hold for 45 mins was told that due to tech problems I should email with my situation. My email wasn't responded to for 3 weeks and I received a *** answer that the refund was sent to credit card. I emailed back and forth with them and still have not had a resolution to my issue. The new system doesn't reflect the full order that I had placed and the amounts payed aren't correct. I will keep trying to get my proper refund as I don't walk away from hard earned money but I will never recommend or shop from them again. The worst customer service that I have ever encountered!

I orderd sum fabrics for a quilting projct on Augst 11. The charge posted to my acount the folowing day. I was only notified on Augst 15 that one of the fabrics was not available. I was never called, only sent an email. I called and tried to talk to a supervisor to come to a resolution. I never got a call back. I should have been given the chance to cancel the whole order if they couldn't fulfill it in full. Also, my credit card should not have been charged if they weren't sure they could fulfill the order. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company.

I ordered 3 things from Missouri Star Quilt Company on July 2. They charged me $27.32 on July 7th. When I got the package, only 1 thing (2 yards of white fabric) was in it, even though their website said they sent everything. I tried calling customer service 4 times, but I had to wait for up to 20 minutes and then a recording said they were too busy and to call back. I also sent 3 emails last week, but no one answered. I can't find another phone number or email to contact them. Their customer service is terrible and I won't buy from them again.

So, I sent my quilt top to Missouri Star Quilt Co. on July 11, and paid $72.93 for machine quilting (Order #***). They got it on July 21, and they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to finish. But it's been more than 11 weeks now, and they won't answer my emails or give me my quilt top back. I've emailed them four times in the last week, but they haven't replied. When I call, the phone rings a lot before going to voicemail. I'm pretty upset about this.

I ordered it on 07/14, but when I tried calling, the phones were closed because they were updating their website. I've tried emailing and chatting a bunch of times since then, but I haven't gotten any response except for a message that says they're behind on emails. It seems like my order got lost, even though I got a previous order and a later order that I placed after the 14th. They said they're working hard to catch up, so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

I gotta say, I ain't too sure about this Missouri Star Quilt Company. They really messed up my quilt order back in 2020, and it was such a hassle to get it sorted out. Took me four whole months and a lot of stress to finally get my quilt back. And now, in 2021, they done messed up again! Can you believe they sent my finished quilt to someone else? That's what they told me when I called to complain. And now they're saying they put the wrong design on my quilt and gotta do it all over again. They promised it would be fixed and shipped out to me in less than a week, but it's been a whole week and still no quilt. And get this, they claim they take pictures of the quilts when they come in, but they don't even bother to check those pictures before shipping them out! Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I gave them a second chance and they still let me down.

I bought a gift card from Missouri Star Quilt Company using a prepaid card worth $250 on 11/24. I also spent $15.83 using my debit card to purchase some fabric and other items. My order arrived on 12/7, but I received the wrong items. Three cuts of fabric were not what I ordered. I tried to contact the company to get this corrected, but they have been ignoring me. I sent two emails, put in a ticket on their website, messaged them on ***, and called multiple times. When I called, they either had an automated message saying it was out of their business hours, despite those being the advertised hours on the website, or the phone connected and then hung up on me. I had to order replacement items from another company as this one will not respond. I want a refund of $55.72 plus tax to my prepaid *** card or my debit card for the incorrect fabrics received. I do not want store credit or a refund to the store gift card as I will not do any further business with this company.

I am a new quilter and I have enjoyed MSQC. I have learned a lot from the tutorials. This year 2022 I bought the Christmas box and really enjoyed opening *** a timely manner.
MSQ is fabulous! They have anything a quilter would want from fabric to patterns with how-to videos and anything in between. The staff is super friendly and helpful!
This was my first year with the Christmas Box. I really enjoyed it. I may not use everything but I really liked a number of them that made the whole box worth it. One of the items was missing the pattern. I sent an email to Missouri star. They answered me very quickly and sent a replacement right away. I am planning on getting another one next year.
Missouri Star Quilting is not only an awesome online store, a town full of quilt stores, it is also wonderful community. The *** have brought back a dead town, provided many jobs, helped many Entrepreneurs setup businesses within the community. They have brought joy and love to evenmore people throughout the world with their tutorials and other videos. While I have only shopped with them online I look forward to visiting them in person in the future. Oh, and the Christmas box was fun, with Unexpected items. While I have duplicate items now from the box I received many more items that not only are useful they made more Christmas memories and projects to enjoy for the rest of the year. It was a box filled with presents we did know what they were until we opened them one at a time.
