MJM has a wide range of furniture that is well made, modern and reasonably priced. Josie, at the Surrey, King George location, was experienced, knows the products well and was a pleasure to work with. Never pushy and very helpful. Amazing customer service! Stoped in surrey to take a look for a new couch after looking at a few other stores and being boarder line harassed buy sales staff we went to MJM furniture and as soon as we walked in the door the very nice lady said if you have any questions just give me a wave. Soon enough we found a sectional we liked and with out hesitation negotiated a very fair price. I couldn’t be happier shopping there and will recommend it to anyone I know looking for new furniture.

I once again dealt with Josie who was nothing short of amazing! I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with her a few times over the years and each time she’s gone above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I wanted and I was 100% happy prior to making my purchase. In this day and age where (sadly) Customer Service seems to be a thing of the past, I’m grateful there are still people like Josie around. SHE is the reason I continue to return to MJM and her employer should be grateful to have her on their front line as she represents the very best the company has to offer. She is professional, knowledgeable, genuine and honest. I can’t recommend her enough !

They did not deliver my furniture. I paid in full one month in advance in preparation for my move to my new home. Then they called me one day prior to the scheduled delivery to cancel the delivery and to be tentatively rescheduled for end of the month (2 weeks later than expected). Neither the sales associate or a manager called instead an office assistant. The assistant told us they would get the manager “jeet “ to call us. But never did. We called back and still have no resolution. Terrible service, terrible experience. Our inconveniences are not their priority there was no regard for our feelings in the matter. There was no priority given at all. Needless to say we would seek a refund and take our business else where.

I bought a sofa set from MJM Furniture on December 11. They sold me a 5-year warranty and said that if anything happened to it within 5 years, they would fix or replace it without any questions. But now, for the past two months, I've been trying to contact them and it's been difficult to get any answers. All they keep telling me is that they're working with the warranty provider to get it fixed. After waiting and waiting, they have now stopped replying to my emails.

I bought 2 new couches from MJM Furniture in Nov 2020. In July , I noticed all the cushions on both couches were falling apart at the zippers. I told MJM about it. They sent a technician who said the cushions can't be fixed. Since mid-July, I've been trying to get the owner, Jeet, to handle the warranty. It's been a year, but I haven't received any resolution yet. This is not okay. I've called him many times and he keeps saying he'll get back to me. The one time I reached him, he promised to have a solution in a few days. That was weeks ago, and now he doesn't even return my calls. This is not okay. I want MJM to replace these 2 couches. I can choose new ones at their store or get a full refund and go somewhere else. I paid a lot for this furniture and bought many pieces from MJM. I expected better treatment from them.

We bought 3 couches from MJM Furniture on Dec 26th, 2014. They were supposed to be delivered on February 22. We also wanted to get the extended warranty, but the person there said we should wait until the couches arrived. So, on Feb 21, 2015, we bought the 5-year extended warranty. We were told that all warranties are covered by the manufacturer, and it said so on the receipt. On Dec 24, 2019, our couches got damaged, so we called MJM on Dec 26, 2019, and told them about it. We gave them all the info and mentioned the extended warranty. They said they would file a claim and send someone to check the couches. We called them every day and went to their store in Surrey before the end of December. They apologized for being busy and said their receptionist was new and didn't follow up. A tech named Sam came to our place, took photos, and said the couches would be replaced. MJM was supposed to contact us, but they didn't, so we called them every other day. In early January , they said the person who handles warranties was on vacation, but someone else would get back to us. We visited the store twice during the first two weeks of January and were told they had submitted our claim and were waiting for a reply. On our third or fourth visit on Jan 28, 2020, they said we needed to contact the warranty ourselves. They gave us excuses about the person in charge of warranties leaving the company and leaving things undone. We contacted the warranty company on Jan 28, 2020, and they asked us to fill out forms and send them photos and paperwork. We explained the whole situation to them, including how MJM made us wait and then told us to contact the warranty ourselves. We sent our package on Feb 2, 2020. The warranty company denied our claim because we were 3 days late in informing them. We explained that MJM caused the delay, but they didn't care. We went back to MJM and spoke to the President, Mr. J. He admitted it was their fault and said he would talk to the warranty company or honor the warranty himself. Then Covid-19 happened, and stores closed. We followed up during that time, and they said they were dealing with it and would contact us when the store reopened. We waited patiently, thinking the President would take care of it. We called them in July, and they said the President wasn't available and would call us later. We called again in August, and they said Mr. J would call us the next day. But he never did. We wanted a refund or replacement for the couches we spent almost $3,000 on, including the warranty. It's not fair that they made us wait for almost 10 months and then said they couldn't do anything and the President wouldn't talk to us.
