The behavior of the representative name Michelle is inappropriate.
I think that Mortgage Solutions would be a better company if certain representatives were honest about the credit score requirement upfront. My husband and I thought we were going to get approved so we left our Townhouse and didn't plan ahead to look for a new one. So we were without a home for two months and we we living in a temporary home. At first I didn't blame Mortgage Solutions but now I do because of the misleading and deceptive behavior of one of the Representatives by the name of Michelle. Michelle kept us busy with an app so we could look for homes and we thought we were going to get approved but we didn't because our credit scores were low. We currently live in a new Townhouse, but I preferred that Mortgage Solutions was honest from the beginning. In the near future, my husband and I will be moving to Texas and we will work with a company that built their homes and have their own lender. After the whole ordeal, I told Michelle not to contact me nor my husband anymore. Michelle didn't listen to me and I believe that she has ulterior motives because I think that she is an adulteress towards my husband. She recently contacted him through a text message and said I'm sorry; she made it seem like it was an accident but it wasn't and she texted him again and showed him a bunch of houses. I don't want to work with Michelle anymore and neither does my husband. I just want Michelle to leave my husband alone. I also believe that she is purposefully attacking my marriage because my husband and I look like a interracial couple, but technically we are not. My husband is part Hispanic and I'm Hispanic. My skin just looks dark. I'm Caribbean. So I think she is racist. It doesn't matter what the ethnicity of a married couple may be, a married couple is a married couple. If I want to, I can take Michelle to court for harassment and sexual harassment towards my husband.
Recommendation: You are at your own risk if you choose to work with Mortgage Solutions.
Stay away!
Stay away of mortgage solutions financial! We are first time home buyers and had Rita Rebollar NMLS:508503 as our loan officer. It was bad from the beginning. This woman ran our credit without our permission. Red flag! We should have ran, but decided to forgive her and move forward. During our escrow we had to pry information/details that we needed to know out of her. Even then she was very deceitful. When we decided to stop signing forms until they were explained thoroughly, Her and her realtor partner/boyfriend forged our signatures. After putting up $2000+ on this home buying process we fell out of escrow. When this happened she said our loan wasn’t going to be approved anyways. She threw a fit and decided to block me and my husband completely. She committed fraud and misrepresented herself. Do yourself a favor and choose a different lender or at least a different loan officer.
Steve was FANTASTIC!
Steve was FANTASTIC! He communicated with us and answered all of our questions. I was dreading the refi process but it went quickly and smoothly. I was quite surprised at how smooth it was. I don't know if we'll ever refinance, but if we do,.. it WILL be with him. I strongly encourage people to go through them. Mortgage Solutions Financial we Thank you! If anyone ever asks me who we recommend for a home loan or refi, we will definitely send them your way! Thanks again!

Excellent service from beginning to end. My loan officer was the absolute best! He was always available for me, even on weekends. His team was on top of everything. I began this process with stress and apprehension, but they did everything but literally hold my hand. I started the process in mid-September and closed on my new build today! Forever thankful, forever grateful, and forever blessed!
They took 2 mortgage payments from my checking account and left me and my family with nothing! Called back 5 times. On the 5th time spoke to someone who was a manager. Had to wait 5 days till they would send my funds back. told her it only takes 5 min to wire a transaction but she was no help.
Worst company I have ever dealt with. Issues from start to finish (except that we still arent finished) with nobody offering to help. Was told whole loan process should take about 3 weeks. Im a little over 2 months and still havent closed and getting the run around. Loan officer got fired so now dealing with supervisor who is not any more help than the shady loan officer who was fired. Have emailed corporate with no response. Would not recommend to anybody!
JD Peck is amazing!
JD Peck is amazing! My clients were working with another lender who dropped the ball...They were going to lose their house because we had to keep pushing back the closing. They called JD and instantly felt comforted/ relieved. JD was professional and caring and had excellent communication with everyone involved! He was able to save my clients' loan in record time and make it feel effortless! I really appreciate how hard he and his team work to get things done efficiently! Don't hesitate to give him a call. You won't be disappointed!

Horrible company because they get you approved and you jump through all the hoops and right before signing, you get denied. We should have never gotten approved in the first place, that's selling false hope.
My husband and I are selling our house in MS. One of the loan officers from Mortgage Solutions Financial from the Mount Juilet, TN branch reached out to us about buying our house. She had a list of requests before we went to closing, one of which was tearing down a greenhouse in the back yard. Which my husband did for her, and paid out of pocket for help, and a dumpster fee for a weekend. After this was done, we had a termite inspection done, and an appraisal, ( we paid for the termite inspection, she paid for the appraisal). After all of this was done, she text my husband and said that she did could not "invest" in the purchase due to her age, being that at closing it was going to cost her around 45k! Not long after we got a letter from Mortgage Solutions Financial that read: " Based on recent information provided to Mortgage Solutions Financial we regret to inform you we are no longer able to move forward with this purchase transaction. We have based this decision on recent information by the buyer and the inability to provide sufficient assets (both funds to close and reserve requirements) for closing. On behalf of the buyer we are terminating the application to purchase. If you have any questions please don't hesitate me to let me know. Signed Brandon Dwyer vp retail sales". After putting two and two together we realized that this was the SAME company that the buyer worked for! He had written this for Ms. Hale so that she could get her earnest money back, only he never put in the letter " loan denied" so my realtor pointed that out to the broker, and her agent never checked the box on the contract which states "if the loan is qualified then buyer gets her earnest money back". This also happened to my parents about 2/3 years ago with the SAME PERSON AND SAME COMPANY! Is this the kind of business they run? Letting their loan officers make deals and then back out of them, screwing people out of time and money! And should a "seasoned" "branch manager" not know what she can and can not afford before even expressing interest?! This is a nation wide company and they employ loan officers who are continuously doing this time of thing to people! I will not suggest this company to anyone, ever!
I am supposed to have a VA Home loan through this company
I am supposed to have a VA Home loan through this company. It has been pushed back 3, going on 4, times now. For weeks I have heard that I am approved for this loan, I just need to wait a little longer. They got the original closing date wrong. They needed to "verify" my rental history 3 or 4 times? Now they are saying that it is going to take another 6 days to get the closing paperwork to the title company, even though they knew my closing date was extended to tomorrow... Other lenders have told me it shouldn't take more than a day. I have been jerked around by these people.
Deplorable service in their home office and customer service department. I set up my mortgage payments to come out automatically. We are first time home buyers and we didn't want to miss any payments. Our first payment was set to come out on October 1. It didn't, so I logged into the online portal and manually made the payment and received a confirmation email. It never processed out of my bank. Same thing for November. It is now November 16th and I have called countless times only to have my calls placed on hold for up to 45 minutes and then my calls were dropped. I have sent several emails and received no response. I was able to get a hold of my loan officer who pushed my concerns up the chain. Nicole *** is absolutely horrible with her customer service. In her emails to me, you can tell that she has no interest in helping the customer. She told me "With that being said moving forward, I am unable to assist you" and basically told me to contact someone else. I will never recommend or use Mortgage Solutions Financial again.
I completed a refinance on my home and when it was time for the appraisal, there was inclement weather and it had to be rescheduled, and during the time the rate lock in period had expired. My loan Officer Lisa Booker went above and beyond to lock in my rate so that I did not have to pay enormous point fees. This to me is a fine example of customer service that truly benefitted me, the customer, in the end. Her service should be duly noted for her exemplary efforts.
David *** with Mortgage Solutions Financial was absolutely pleasure to work with
David *** with Mortgage Solutions Financial was absolutely pleasure to work with. He was attentive to our needs and extremely clear as he guided us through the process. David worked hard to meet and exceed our expectations, even answering our calls late into the evening. Another thing we appreciated so much was his weekly video updates, our transaction was handled electronically, so putting a face to the name was a nice touch! From the pre-approval to the day of closing (which he worked to get it done 2 days early) felt almost seamless. We highly recommend David (& his assistant Alex) for your mortgage needs & feel blessed to have worked with him on our home buying experience!

I approched Mortgage Solutions of Harlingen, Texas to ask if I could apply for a loan several years after my bankruptcy on June 9. I told them all my credit issues and asked for advice. I had sold my home and I had a job waiting for me at Austin. This is why I wanted to check if I could buy in Austin. The employee checked my credit report and said that I was approved and will proceed with caution. I asked what that meant and he did not give me a specific answer, he just said I could look for a home. I moved to a rental home and traveled to Austin to look for homes. I found one and Mortgage Solutions of Harlingen started the process. They askes for $2,600 earnest money and $600 for appraiser. During the process the MS never contacted me to give me updates. I had to call and they gave me several reasons. Three weeks passed and I was told it was still at underwriting, they said they had backed up work. We had a sign date with Austin title company on July 7th. On July 7th got an email that underwriting had denied my loan. They claimed I had given 5 late payments on my previous mortgage, I did not have a stable credit and I purchased a car during the loan process. I answered that I was never told not to purchase anything on credit while waiting on loan and that they had pulled my credit report. My family and I were devastated. I did my research with another lending company and they explained what had trully happened. Mortgage Solutions of Harlingen did not check my discharge bankruptcy date before approving me. That is the first thing they should have done. I was not elegible yet for a loan. I told the employee since our first phone call of my bankruptcy. He never asked for court documents and I was looking for their advice so I had no idea either. I lost $2,600 of earnest money since they made the seller wait after we had a closing date with title company at Austin. I lost $600 of appraisal since MS said its a service that had to be paid. I rented a home for $1,750 waiting on Mortgage Solutions. We spent of groceries, utilities, travel and logging at Austin and a rental storage unit for my things. Mortgage Solutions had me loose over $5,000 for a mishap that their employee did. I have emailed them and they ignore me. Not even an apology I have heard from them. Their mistake made me loose money, time and they gave me hopes of owning a home. The saddest part is when I told my 3 boys that we were not getting the home we had seen. We had appliances and furniture ready. This could all had been avoided. I approached them for advice and I was honest since the first phone call. Now I start my job in two weeks and need to look for a rental. Please be careful with this company and I pray their employees learned their lesson and are more careful now. I do not wish this on anyone.
Horrible company. Does not care about customers. I had a previous loan with this company in Colorado, had no issues so when moving out of state and buying a new house in Kansas, it was a no brainer to continue to use them. I was sooo wrong! I was pre approved, using my spouses VA Entitlement. Had the home inspection done and appraisal. Kept in touch with lender, and made sure we were on track. Kept telling me all was good. I closed on the Colorado home and the day after I followed up with lender, confirmed they received the funds so we could close the following week on our new Kansas home. Again, I was assured everything was on track and closing was still set for the next week. We got into town the day before close, final numbers not in. Got in touch with lender morning of and he thanked me for the reminder, and that we were not able to close. He still had ALL the paperwork to do! Paperwork that should have started on day 1, was started the day of closing. It was a nightmare. We have kids, animals and moved out of state. 5 missed close dates later, we were finally able to close. Not how you run a business or treat your customers. Very disappointing and the team could care less on what they put us through.
This company is garbage I have giving them everything they asked for so I could close on time they didn't say anything and the last minute they want me to resend them and a bunch of silly non sense. I wished I went with a different company. The assistant Nicole *** is completely incompetent. Do yourself a favor go with a good company.
Not sure why the negative reviews
Not sure why the negative reviews. I had nothing but a fantastic experience! I am a first time home buyer and had no idea what to expect or if I was going to be 'played' by mortgage companies for being a newbie home owner. I did make sure I researched and had all my questions lined up. I felt very comfortable with my loan person I was dealing with. It was awesome because I am definitely not one to do business solely from an e-mail or even over the phone. I was able to meet face to face and even over my lunch break. The process was really simple and if I was ever freaking out my loan officer was right there to reassure my worries. I also recommended this company to my sister who was also in the market. Shes going to be going through the VA loan process so i'm excited to hear how her experience was with this! Thanks MSF!

I refinanced in October with this company
I refinanced in October with this company. Their representative that I was doing my refinance with was great and super helpful! I was very excited when he said we had November and December not having to pay the mortgage (the kiddo got a PS5! he was thrilled and so were we). Somewhere, communications got crossed and I received a call in January saying I had missed December's payment. I responded that the company had given us Nov and Dec off as part of the refinancing, which I had confirmed via email with their representative who handled our refinance. Well, I don't know if it was a breakdown in communication between the representative and the underwriters or if the representative made promises that the company couldn't keep, but I have been receiving multiple calls, every single day from this company regarding this "late balance" and now the almost $400 in late fees they've tacked on. As soon as I am able, I am going to be leaving this company and warning others to be very careful with them.

In the beginning I was very happy with my mortgage
In the beginning I was very happy with my mortgage. However, after some years they suddenly decided to up my mortgage from $1148 to $1500 telling me my escrow was deficient. And it was, but after fixing it they decided to keep my paying way too much which included PMI which should have been cancelled years ago. I have a fixed rate so that is not the reason. They definitely do not care about me. They probably think I a pigeon they can just take advantage of. My credit union has been watching my back for 20 years. The companies through which I have credit cards have been watching my back. Even ***, a company to which I pay no money is even watching my back. These companies know I do not work in the banking or credit industry, and therefore, tell me things I likely would not notice. MSF, however, has done nothing for me other than simply take my money, ignore me, and raise my payment without due reason. They know I do not work in the mortgage industry, but still feel no need to tell me anything, like, I don't know, maybe, tell me I should no longer me paying PMI. I am doing a refi through my credit union and am glad to be leaving MSF behind me.

Entered into a Forbearance plan right after COVID started due to a layoff, there was no issue at this time
Entered into a Forbearance plan right after COVID started due to a layoff, there was no issue at this time. We attempted to EXIT the Forbearance plan after becoming gainfully employed again, and that is where the problems began. The first attempt, Mortgage Solutions reported that they sent the paperwork for Exiting Forbearance to our address. We never received any documentation. We attempted to follow up with phone calls on multiple occasions and were told that 'it's no worries, it should arrive soon' and 'no rush, just let us know when you receive the documents'. After the last phone call WE made to THEM, we received a call two days later informing us that due to a 'failure to provide the requested documentation in a timely manner' that our request had been denied and we owed multiple thousands of dollars.Straightened this out with a branch manager. RE-ENTERED into a verbal agreement (they refused to send anything in emails/writing) to exit forbearance. They re-sent documentation. We actually received it this time, immediately had it notarized, signed, and sent back.We followed up every week until they reported they had received the documentation. I was told by my 'Customer Ally' (a complete joke), that they had received everything and we were 'good to go'.Two weeks later, we receive a call on a Friday afternoon around *** saying that there was a page missing. We needed to get the page printed, signed, notarized, and sent back. I asked for a timeline and was told 'no rush, just when you can'. The following Monday, my Forbearance Exit was denied due to 'failure to provide the requested documentation in a timely manner'. In addition to waiting TWO WEEKS to tell me I had to sign another paper, the one they sent in their email to me that was 'missing' was the WRONG PAPERWORK. This resulted in yet another exit attempt. Luckily, I sold the house at that point. Absolute worst company I've ever dealt with in 30 years, < 1 star.

they have changed their billing address twice in 2 less than 2 years. this last time they did it i was on a submarine and didnt change my auto bill pay soon enough. now i have gotten one payment returned via mail (snail) and have sent it back to them at the new address. i am waiting to get the other half of february back in the mail to send it back to them as well. i am getting no less than 4 phone calls a day from a variety of idiotic harrassing people acting like they dont see the notes from previous idiots calling me. i have explained to them several times that i am waiting to get the other half of the payment back in the mail. i have already sent one half of the february payment back and my auto bill pay is updated so march should be ok. they are harrassing me several times a day over half a payment and now they are threatening me with late fee's.
Mortgage Solutions Financial, LLC of Colorado Springs, Colorado is the Lender of my loan in which I closed on April 30th. At closing I was given 3 temporary payment coupons. I have made my payments June and July. As of today I have yet to receive a single statement. On June 10th I spoke with a rep named Oscar who told me he would submit an inquiry. I heard nothing. Today, I called and spoke with Nicole in customer service who informed me my loan has not been uploaded on their sub-server and she didn't know why. This is unacceptable. I want statements and be able access my account online.

I live in Colorado Springs and have been here for the past 15 years after retiring from the military. My family is from Iowa and are looking to purchase a home and move back there due to family members getting older and will be passing on. Mortgage Solutions Financial advertises how much the help veterans. I started a year and a half ago with Jason. He started with sending me to a good friend of his for credit repair. After this and 7 months, I called him for an update. He answered and I could tell he didn't remember who I was. He was scurrying on the phone and then said he got hurt in the mountains and my file got placed aside. He then sent me to Burt who is licensed in Iowa. Same thing, many months went by and I had to call, was told VA would not do the loan right now due to credit. He said I had to get credit card and pay bills for at least the next year, he also said he didn't know why I was sent to credit repair. Now with Iowa company and getting great help and moving forward.
This company offered me a deferral for my payments due to the pandemic
This company offered me a deferral for my payments due to the pandemic. They approved the deferral for 6 months but now that those months are over, they are not updating my account. The payment date has been stuck on the same date for a few months. I call nearly everyday to ask them to resolve this issue but each employee tells me something different. They have yet to give me a concrete answer as to what exactly is going on with my account. One of the things they said was that the due date would be updated today, but again, this was not the case as nothing updated. I try to get into contact with management directly but they also beat around the bush with some lame excuse. They never fulfill their promises and I am very dissatisfied with their business. I hope this complaint is read by someone from their management who can do something about this. I am growing very impatient at this point and have exhausted all my options as a customer.

After submitting contact information after viewing advertisement on facebook, I viewed web sight filled out information request, was contacted that evening by Rep. and asked could one of his loan officers call me to discuss loan for mortgage at 12:30 pm central time the next day i agreed. The call was taken but it was the same rep. that contacted me the day before. I filled out loan had but i had questions but when reached no one would return calls or emails. My credit score was a problem but he stated that his company was the only one that worked with lower scores, i received today finally information that i had a late payment on my credit to which i paid that creditor in full that month that was stated and i don't make much income. The reason is that i am a disable veteran but i was able to pay a previous mortgage of 820.00 and make it work. I received a check for Covid 19 and I called and asked mortgage solution if they needed to sign the check before I deposit it into my bank account and they told me no. Now the funds are being held at the bank because of the refusal for the mortgage company to sign the check. So no this is putting me and my family in a bind of making payments to the company because the money is being held.

This problem initiated in the beginning of 2021, our mortgage company increased our mortgage payment almost $300 in March stating it was a property tax issue due to homestead exemptions that issue was resolved our mortgage payment never went back to what was originally promised by them. In June we received another letter from them stating our mortgage payment was going up again almost another $300 citing an insurance issue I spoke to the insurance company they said that they were not correct in raising our rates that much our payment should have been raised less than $10.00 after speaking with the mortgage company on several occasions they continue to blame everyone but themselves for the increases with no resolve. There is no reason why my mortgage payment would increase almost $600 in 6 months unless someone is stealing or misappropriating my funds to some other account without my knowledge I want answers or them to be held accountable for their actions!

My mortgage payments are set up through the lender for auto pay
My mortgage payments are set up through the lender for auto pay. Beginning in June, Mortgage Solutions randomly raised my payment by $62.00 per month stating a shortage in my escrow account. Because my payments sent did not reflect this increase, they will not credit any payments and have now put me in default and are threatening foreclosure. I have been trying for weeks to get a proper reason for this increase but they cannot provide one. I have requested manager call backs since 8/13 and finally got one from Tawana *** on 9/8. She said the delay was because the manager it was assigned to went on leave so it sat while they threatened foreclosure. Issue was not resolved. She promised call back on 9/9. After reviewing documents, I found they did not credit anything to Escrow for May. Their error is what created the shortage. Due to their incompetence and lack of care or concern, I have had my credit hurt and have had credit lines reduced. Also, I cannot refi.

I live in Colorado Springs and have been here for the past 15 years after retiring from the military
Very unprofessional
Very unprofessional. They told us we would have a 302k payoff while going through a hardship. My 3rd party authorized realtor tried for days, week at times to get in contact with them but they wouldn't reply back. Now our home is up for foreclosure and all of the sudden they switched lenders and our payoff went up by 20k! we were due to clue on a sell 3 days from now! Now that's not a possibility and they pretty much don't seem eager to help only for us to reapply with a new 15 page application for a new either short sale or give in the house to them! My wife is currently pregnant and having problems with the baby. We also have 2 more kids a 1 year old and a 3 year old while I'm also getting medically discharged from the army. This whole coronavirus situation doesn't help as I cant attend the school which would had given us bah to at least sustain ourselves. They took weeks to reply with a payoff and now the other family set to move into the home needs to find somewhere to stay because they were already set to move in 3 days from now. This is completely unacceptable as our personal lender specialist kept ignoring our calls and emails when we wanted to refinance the home. She said she was away in another state but we clearly saw her the same day in our town.
I contacted Mrs
I contacted Mrs. with Mortgage Solutions for a Pre-approval on a home loan. After prescreening and submitting preliminary information, I was told that I got pre-approval for a home loan. I talked with my realtor, found a home, and provided earnest money of $1000 to Heritage Title company. At the same time, I provided all necessary documents that Mrs. requested. The process seemed to be moving along smoothly and I was set to close on the 8th of October. I had gotten the Appraisal back from Mrs. about a week before and she informed me that the final paperwork was being processed through their underwriter. I finally had gotten a closing disclosure and noticed that the closing costs were very different from what she had told me. I sent it to my realtor for a second opinion and she confirmed that the disclosure didn't look right. I talked with Mrs. two days before closing, who assured me it was ok and the final numbers would work out to what I needed to bring to closing. She also asked me to provide Sept. bank statement, which I'm sure I had given her all paperwork up until this point. Finally, a day before closing, I was told by my realtor that they had declined the loan, said I had spent 10k in reserves, which I never said I even had, and that was their reasoning for declining. I didn't get anything from the lender directly and now my realtor is trying to help me get my earnest money back, which I doubt I will get back. Their reasoning for declining my loan is really weak and their business practices are questionable due to lack of communication, not being upfront with the process, and sending documents that are contrary to what they are promising. The biggest cost to me was a month of my time wasted and potentially a loss of $1300 in earnest money and inspection fees.
Our dispute is over the manner of paying off a mortgage
Our dispute is over the manner of paying off a mortgage. I requested and received a payoff letter for my mortgage in the amount of $390.87 I paid the amount in full via ACH transfer on the date due August 24. Mortgage Solutions states they must receive payoffs via wire transfer, cashier's check etc., otherwise they have a different accounting mechanism. Oct 26th they sent me a new payoff letter requiring an additional $123.19 to payoff the loan and forward the trust deed. Mortgage Solutions (Logan) admits they have no statutory provision, law, investor guideline, or contractual obligation in my closing documents requiring the payoff be via wire transfer, cashiers check, etc. I have requested they cite any legal basis for their actions and they have been unable to do so. They claim it's just "company policy," and "they aren't going to change just for one person." (Bill) Admittedly some payoffs are best done via wire transfers in transactions involving large cash amounts, when title is transferred to a 3rd party, or when time is of the essence. None of those conditions apply to my account. I have spoken with at least 6 individuals from their company. No one has ever given me an explanation of WHY the accounting mechanism for a payoff is different via ACH transfer. Accounting amortization doesn't vary for a payoff date depending on the method of payment. Amortization is a separate matter from payment. Mortgage Solutions received the full payoff amount and retained it since Aug 24, 2020. The money is good. By their own admission, they claim I still owe $34.60 in principal only because I paid via ACH and not a wire transfer. Their response speaks for itself. Amortization doesn't vary per method of payment. They have now reported a late payment on my credit, have made harassing collection calls, and sent a letter threatening collection action, demanding a full original monthly payment of $573.74.

We have had nothing but difficulty in trying to communicate with this company
We have had nothing but difficulty in trying to communicate with this company. We are currently in a bankruptcy, and although this mortgage is not included in it, we cannot get anyone to talk to us directly and come up with a resolution. Mortgage Solutions has sent claims to the bankruptcy court, and they have been paid extra money. We got behind 2 payments on our mortgage loan and reached out to Mortgage Solutions Financial several times via phone to try to find out exactly what we owed, so we could bring out mortgage current. We were informed on 2/11 that our loan was transferred from Mortgage Solutions Financial (by Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc.) to Mortgage Solutions Financial. I mailed out a request for a full accounting of our payments on 3/7. On 3/27 I spoke to a Courtney #8812 and she advised me that it would take 60 days to be able to figure out the total amount owning. Every month we would get a statement with different amounts owing on it. On 6/15 I sent out an accounting of all of our payments from August to current to this company and asked them to please respond. I have delivery confirmation of that packet on 6/18. To date, I have not received any response on this. I called Mortgage Solutions again on 7/2 and spoke to a Liz #11913. She informed me that they had finally applied all of our payments (for some reason they had been holding back on some) and that the past due balance was $4677.26. We sent off a cashiers check to bring our account current at that time. This should have brought our account completely current and we should only owe our regular monthly payment of $2338.63. However, our most recent statement says we owe $2595.70. We don't understand this amount. We are unable to get a satisfactory answer from the company, and we just want our past due balance to be resolved. We want the statement to reflect a zero balance and only owe the current payment of $2338.63.

In February and March, Mortgage Solutions paid my homeowners insurance twice out of escrow
In February and March, Mortgage Solutions paid my homeowners insurance twice out of escrow. This led to a shortage that they had asked me to pay. After doing the research myself, I found THEIR mistake and contacted them. They suggested that I seek a refund from the insurer and mail it to them (basically do their job fixing their mistake). Unfortunately, the insurance company sent the check to the property address not the mailing address so I didn't receive the first one. Two months later after not receiving the first check and getting threats from Mortgage Solutions, I corrected the insurance company and they claimed they were sending the check out to the correct address. Since this was still me doing a favor for Mortgage Solutions, I just let it go and waited for that check. The calls from Mortgage Solutions started again and this time they were far from nice considering THEIR mistake. The second check was never received so the insurer overnighted it with tracking. I got it the following Monday as the call was on a Friday. I deposited it and called Mortgage Solutions to have them take the full amount out. They did just that and I thought it was over. The next week, my credit score dropped 67 points and 103 points with 2 of the three bureaus. Since COVID, the credit bureaus are allowing a credit report to be accessed weekly so I printed them all out and found that Mortgage Solutions had started reporting me late (even though I made the agreed upon payments every month). I have my bank statements to prove the payments. I have been on the phone for no less than 4 hours so far this week and all I get are promises that they are working on it. My credit is already ruined and I just got a letter threatening foreclosure. Now I'm finished with being nice hence this review. I want my credit repaired, my escrow repaired, my payments back to EXACTLY what they were before this fiasco, and any and all late fees refunded along with any overages.

I called yesterday, June 1, to return the phone call from Rich
I called yesterday, June 1, to return the phone call from Rich. I spoke to a Nadine? She informed me that our loan modification has been completed and will be ready for signature soon. She also informed me of the new payment amount of $1800 and something. I didn't write it down since I heard 18 it didn't matter to me what came after. I have been very communicative on my end and have paid all trial payments on time. As I appreciate the quickness of the processing, the amount you are wanting us to pay is not correct. We are EXEMPT from all property taxes effective October 24. I even submitted the exemption notice from our county appraisal district where it indicates we are fully exempted. I was told a few times by Tara and other reps that a new escrow analysis would be completed to verify that we were in fact exempt and for the new payment to reflect as such. If you go an view analysis completed in January from the previous servicer it will show we were to start paying $1476.75 for March .The only thing that should be going into our escrow account is for Home Insurance premium to be paid in September. Also, our December payment should have been made at the end of April when the 2nd trial payment was posted. The trial payment agreement states once enough funds are received to make a monthly payment it would be applied. I called on May 15th to ask about this and the representative said that is not what happens. Yet at the end of May that is exactly what happened and both the December and January payment were applied. The December payment needs to be corrected in posting date. Once the new analysis is completed and goes back through underwriting we would like to have the paperwork sent to us directly. I work for a credit union and we have many notaries that can notarize our loan modification documents, including a mortgage department. This is the normal practice for you and there shouldn't be any issue with us doing so.
