Moss Bros
Moss Bros. Honda is not good at customer service. They try to sell a car to you while also selling the same car to someone else. The managers there are rude and full of themselves. They don't have any morals when it comes to treating customers, as long as they make the sale, they don't care.
Sad bait and switch
Sad bait and switch. Fraudulent actors. I traded a car that I wanted for $3000, and got a $6000 car. I got $500 for my trade-in, and the cost went up to $16000. I don't care what is said. That is ridiculous and will end up in small claims or a revoked license.
Stay away from these swindlers!
Stay away from these swindlers! They totally bait-and-switch you. They quote you a price and then add on non-negotiable extras. I didn't buy a car here because I know better, but if you're looking for a new Honda, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. They are swindlers and scoundrels, and you won't get a fair deal here.

They advertise the prices extremely low to get people in and then force you to buy a bunch of "packages" that they state are mandatory at all dealerships. I only found out recently that it is all optional and all of these "packages" don't really cover anything and add on at least $3,000. If I could return my vehicle I would do it in a heartbeat and never return.
Horrible and dishonest thiefs
Horrible and dishonest thiefs. After saying multiple times that I didn't want anything extra included in the vehicle, and agreeing on a price, the contract that I signed was another 9k over the price, but I didn't until after I had finished signing and was too late. They charged me extra for warranty and other features that I said I did not want to pay for. Disgusting human beings.
I went to Moss Bros
I went to Moss Bros. Honda in June to cancel a warranty and GAP coverage that I had purchased from a third party. I dealt with a guy named Nabeel K from Honda, but unfortunately, he didn't get the job done. I never heard back from him, even though I left him more than 10 messages. Every time I tried to reach out again, I would just get passed around to different salesmen. Frustrated, I decided to go to the dealership in person. I spoke with Brandon from the finance department, and he made a copy of my documents. He assured me that he would "expedite" the process and told me to call again if I hadn't heard anything after 8 weeks. Well, it's been over 8 weeks now, and I've been trying to get in touch with Brandon. I've left him messages and notes, but I haven't received any response. This whole experience has been a nightmare, and the customer service at Moss Bros. Honda is just terrible.

They advertise the prices really low to get people in and then make you buy a bunch of "packages" like alarm, GPS tracking, interior and exterior protections that they say are mandatory at all dealerships. I just found out recently that it's all optional and these "packages" don't really cover anything and add on at least $3,000. If I could give back my vehicle, I would do it right away and never come back. They made many promises through email and never kept them. I'm satisfied with the Honda Pilot we bought but I'll never suggest this dealer.
This company does bait and switch stuff!
This company does bait and switch stuff! I got a quote from one of their online sales guys for a price that included all the dealer add-ons and doc fees. They said it was gonna be 16.8k. So I drove 40 miles to this place thinking that's what I gotta pay for the car before any fees or taxes (usually 10%). But when I got there, they said the car has these built-in add-ons that cost an extra 3k. They said it was already included in the price and I couldn't take it off. They all told me this, the sales guy Ron, the sales manager, and the finance manager. But it's actually listed as optional on their contract. Super shady! I talked to the GM David *** and he didn't seem to care at all. These guys should be shut down. Especially now during the pandemic, they're doing some really unethical stuff. It's just straight-up fraud!
I called the dealership 'bout a car I was interested in and said I'd be goin' in the next day 'cause I was callin' from outta state
I called the dealership 'bout a car I was interested in and said I'd be goin' in the next day 'cause I was callin' from outta state. They set me up an appointment and said I could see the car that day. The seller texted me the address to confirm and they called me on the day to make sure I was comin'. I drove 4 hours to get there and when I arrived, I asked for the seller I talked to the day before. But the seller wasn't there and the manager (who called to confirm the appointment) came to me and said the car was sold the day before. I asked him why he didn't tell me the car I drove 4 hours to see was sold when he called me. And he said he only confirms appointments, not why people are comin'. It was totally unprofessional and they didn't communicate properly. I wasted 8 hours drivin' for nothin' and missed a day of work.
I spent 8 hours making the original deal
I spent 8 hours making the original deal. Found out on day 13 they couldn't get the financing they promised and tried to raise the payments $150/month to $722/month for a Civic! I loved the car, showed it to all my family and friends, but now I'm returning it because the financing is completely unreasonable. They must have known before I drove it off the lot that it wasn't going to go through. This is like a yo-yo car fraud that I can't fight because we lost the envelope the contract cancellation came in the mail after the 10 days they had to notify me went by. My Experian credit score, according to Experian's own app, was 630 and I make $75,000/year with a perfect payment history on my previous vehicle of 18 months. They told me it was 570. They refunded the down payment on the ATM cards used, but as of the writing of this, I haven't received it. I will update the review later, if possible, if the money isn't returned in full. If it doesn't, I can get an attorney involved because this would give me a winning reason to... unless your credit is PERFECT, don't even show up... they lie to get you into it and change the deal! It's called YoYo car sales fraud!
I would give them negative stars if I could
I would give them negative stars if I could. I never write reviews, so for me to write a review, I have to be extremely pissed off. I went to Moss Bros on 1/15. I got there around 2-2:30pm and met with the sales associate I had been talking to that morning. We went through the whole process and financial application/credit application. We were discussing 3 used cars: a Corolla, Civic, and Volkswagen. After running some applications and waiting for the banks to respond, the sales associate came out and told me there were a couple of options. He said he was going to pull up a car. About 40 minutes later, he told me he couldn't find the car. He went to speak to a couple of guys in the back and came back saying it's a Prius (which was never mentioned before, but an application was submitted for it). All 4 cars had similar mileage and price, but I was told I could ONLY get the Prius. I told the associate I didn't want a Prius, and then the manager was brought over. I told him the same thing. I didn't want a Prius. He told me not to look at buying something I like or want, but to look at it as an investment (I'm not going to invest or buy something I absolutely dislike). I kept insisting I didn't want the Prius to the point where I had to step out of the building to clear the air. While I was doing that, the associate came and told me I could get the Corolla. I proceeded to test drive and agree to get the Corolla, which I really liked and got my hopes up. So I went back inside and sat down. Now the finance department associate comes over and brings up me purchasing the Prius because he has absolutely no idea that I declined the Prius and had test driven the Corolla and agreed to buy it. He tells me he's going to work on everything and call me back the next morning on 1/16. That was around 7pm. It is now 1/16 at 4:55pm. I've been calling all day, being placed on hold, being disconnected, and being told that the phones are not working at Moss Bros Honda financial department. I even had emails sent from the receptionist to give me a call as soon as possible, and I hear nothing. I truly hope that everyone who is going to shop here and buy a car does serious research because this is ridiculous and stressful. I also plan to file a complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com. I don't like things being pushed on me to the point where I'm so uncomfortable I need to leave, and then be scammed into staying again to get tricked into something I did not want.

I got an email with a price quote from Moss Bros
I got an email with a price quote from Moss Bros. Honda. But when I went to the dealership, they said they don't have the basic model of the car at the price they quoted me. The real price was $3,000 higher than the quote. These guys are terrible scammers who trick you with false promises.
I have a few complaints about Moss Bros
I have a few complaints about Moss Bros. Honda. First, their advertising is misleading. They advertise one price online, but when you actually go to the dealership, they suddenly claim there was an "accounting error" and increase the price. It feels like they're trying to scam customers.
Secondly, the product they sold me was defective. They sell vehicles without properly inspecting them, and as a result, the engine light in my car came on. It's frustrating and I need assistance to resolve this issue.
I bought a Honda Civic from Moss Bros
I bought a Honda Civic from Moss Bros. Honda and paid them in cash. I sent them the full amount on Aug 11, but since I live in Arizona and wanted the car delivered out-of-state, they couldn't handle the tax, license, and registration stuff on their side. They said they would refund me the extra $2,897.64 that I overpaid for the vehicle. It's been six weeks now, and I still haven't received my money back. I've called them so many times and talked to a bunch of "finance managers" who haven't been able to solve my problem. They never connect me with the owner of the dealership. They keep giving me excuses and not getting things done.

I went to buy a car from Moss Bros
I went to buy a car from Moss Bros. Honda. We negotiated a deal, but I decided not to go with them because they seemed a bit shady. They chased after us when we tried to leave, which wasn't cool. That happened about a month ago. Since then, I've bought a car from another dealership. I've told Moss Bros. Honda multiple times to stop contacting me, but they just won't quit. Unlike the other dealership, they keep calling and emailing me like crazy. Seriously, it's like they contact me 30 times a day! I've made it clear through emails and direct communication that I want them to leave me alone. It feels like they're harassing me for not buying a car from them. I've even resorted to using a spam call blocking feature on my phone, but they still manage to call me 211 times in just one month. It's frustrating, and I really wish they would respect my request to stop contacting me completely.
I went to Moss Bros Honda on September 17th, 2022
I went to Moss Bros Honda on September 17th, 2022. I already knew which vehicle I wanted to buy thanks to ***, the salesperson (He's great!). I was trading in my 2020 Honda Civic Hatchback and buying a 2022 Honda Accord. It's now October 18th, and my trade-in still hasn't been paid off. I had to make the payment for it, and I'm also getting ready to make a payment for the new vehicle. I've called many times to talk to the finance department and also spoke to ***, the "Manager". Their only response is, "I'll call you back with more info." It's been 31 days since the purchase, and legally they should have paid off the trade-in within 21 days. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I really need them to pay off that car as soon as possible!
I took my 2016 Acura MDX for service on Friday 5/7
I took my 2016 Acura MDX for service on Friday 5/7. By Tuesday morning 5/11, my car breaks down. Turns out, it has a shot engine due to lack of oil. The dealer charged me for both an oil change and transmission fluid change just 4 days prior. They also inspected the car and assured me that everything was good. Now, they refuse to take any responsibility. This car has always had its maintenance done on time as required by the manufacturer and has never had any issues before. I had a shop look at the car before it was towed to the dealer, and they confirmed that the car had very little to no oil and the filter had metal shavings. I have attached the receipt for my first oil change with Moss Bros Honda in Moreno Valley, as well as the receipt for the oil and inspection done later at Riverside Hitch & Trailer. I asked for video footage of my car being worked on, but they couldn't provide anything. They completely ignored me and said they couldn't help.
I bought a 2020 Honda Accord Sport from Moss Bros
I bought a 2020 Honda Accord Sport from Moss Bros. Honda on May 30. The boss at Moss Bros knew I was paying with a cashier's check, not financing. The salesperson asked for my social security number and took me to the finance manager to complete the sale. They didn't tell me why they needed my social security number, so I thought it was for their own records. I tried contacting Jayson Miss from Moss Bros multiple times before he finally called me back yesterday about the promised GPS system. I asked him about the social security number, but he gave me different explanations that didn't make sense since I wasn't financing. Basically, he couldn't give me a valid reason. This morning, I checked my credit and found out that Moss Bros Honda had run my credit on May 30.
I bought this car in February and was mad when I found out it didn't have what I wanted
I bought this car in February and was mad when I found out it didn't have what I wanted. The dealer didn't tell me when I looked at it. I went back the next week like they said, thinking they would help me. They acted like they wanted to help, but then said they couldn't do anything because I already had a lender. That was a lie because the next month I got a notice to return the car right away because they couldn't find a lender. I was out of town and didn't get the notice in time. When I went with the notice to return or exchange the car, they said I couldn't. My car couldn't even get registered because of two recalls. I finally got my license plate and will send the paper showing the recalls were fixed. I'm just mad because they didn't care how unhappy I was. The lender told me the dealer could cancel the contract. When I told an employee, they said it was weird because you can't cancel after everything is done. At this point, I didn't trust them and said maybe it wasn't finished, like when I went back the week after buying the car. The employee said, "well, I can tell you we did find a lender and it's finished because I got paid today." I left after that because I was there for over 2 hours and no one cared to help me.
I paid my car off early and went to Moss Bros
I paid my car off early and went to Moss Bros. Honda on January 12th to get a refund for the gap insurance. Honda Finance told me to do this. I talked to a sales manager named Mr.. He had me fill out a form to request my refund and said it would take 4-6 weeks to get it. I asked for his card and when it had been 8 weeks, I emailed him because I couldn't reach him by phone. He didn't reply, so I sent another email. Still no reply. I went back to Moss Bros on Saturday April 2nd and talked to the finance manager, Mr.. He said sorry for the lack of response and promised to call me by the following Monday at noon with an update on my refund. Yesterday, April 6th, I called and left a message for Mr. because he didn't call like he said he would. I called again today and left my number with another sales representative after being told I couldn't talk to the General Manager, Mr.. He wrote me a letter asking me to "set up an appointment to learn about your trade-in options". The sales associate said someone from finance would call me back in "3 minutes" and that he would take the message himself. I have bought three new cars from Moss in the past 12 years and was going to buy another one for my son's graduation. I don't know if they changed owners or what happened, but the fact that they keep making promises they don't keep is unprofessional. It makes me not want to do business with them anymore and I won't recommend them to my colleagues. I'm not asking for anything unusual and I have been very patient and polite.
I signed a retail installment sale contract on 11/27 to get the car ('22 Honda Insight) with all the upgrades included ("Sold as Equipped")
I signed a retail installment sale contract on 11/27 to get the car ('22 Honda Insight) with all the upgrades included ("Sold as Equipped"). On 12/02, we got a call from the sales person saying the dealership got the car and we needed to pick it up right away. We were repeatedly called to know where we were. We live about 40 miles from the dealership and drove as quickly as possible, fighting the traffic. When we arrived, we asked the sales person if all the upgrades were installed. This is where the misinformation started. We were told we would get an app in 2 weeks to start using the GPS and alarm system. We kept following up with the sales person, but they kept changing the story. Finally, we were told the remote installer would come and install them. We patiently waited past Christmas holidays (almost 5 weeks past the contract signed date). We were promised the remote installer would install both. Then, in the 1st week of Jan, the installer came but only installed the GPS, not the alarm system. When we called the sales person again, they changed the story and asked us to come to the dealership. It was a lot of hard work to get the contracted upgrades installed. I suggested to the sales person that the dealership should credit the alarm system and refund me for that part, as we had been given the runaround on the installation. We wasted so much time chasing the dealership even after signing the contract. This isn't fair to us as buyers. The sales person kept saying they would talk to their manager and get back to us about our request for the credit. But then they stopped responding. I left a couple of messages with the dealership management, asking them to review my request and credit the remaining upgrade. So far, I haven't heard back. I have no choice but to make this complaint.
I bought a Honda HR-V on 3/6/22 and signed a contract where I got confused by the numbers
I bought a Honda HR-V on 3/6/22 and signed a contract where I got confused by the numbers. I was there for 5 hours with hungry screaming kids (my own) and I just couldn't take any more confusion. They only showed me the monthly payment and interest rate, not the total car amount. They changed the interest rate to show me different payments. I signed the contract 3 times with different amounts because their system was failing. They also ran my $5000 down payment 3 times for the same reason. When I called my bank for a better interest rate, I noticed the contract amount was not what we agreed on. I went back to Moss Bros on 3/8 to talk to a manager who said I had no legal case because I had no proof of our conversation, only the contract I signed. He said there was nothing he could do. My bank told me I was taken advantage of and signed up for unnecessary products. I went back with a check from my bank on 3/10 and asked them to remove all the unnecessary products. They said I couldn't remove anything because I signed a contract. I mentioned my bank said it was possible. They rewrote the contract and removed Gap insurance and extended warranty. I thought that was all, but I was still upset. I signed and returned on 3/11 with an adjusted check. On 3/17, I got a call from service asking me to come in for protective paint, seat protectant, and floor mats. I didn't agree to any additional services and I've been going in good faith to get an explanation for my purchase. They've been giving me the runaround and won't give me the information I asked for. I've lost all patience and I'm tired of wasting hours with no solution. I want them to refund any money I paid for services I don't want. I've expressed this on my 4 visits to the business and the 10+ hours I've spent there. Their staff doesn't know much about their contracts and some have even made me feel small.
