I ain't goin' back to Toyota of Huntington Beach, no way!
I ain't goin' back to Toyota of Huntington Beach, no way! Them guys can't even do a simple oil change right. Like, what's the point of scannin' the vin if they ain't gonna use the info?! They tried chargin' me for a v8 oil change when they already scanned the vin and knew it was a v6. And get this, the engine in my truck only takes 5.5 qts with the filter, but they went ahead and put in 7. Ain't no way I'm goin' back to that dealer. They're just too dang incompetent.

I already wrote a complaint about this place, but I have some new updates to share. When I bought my car, they sold me a vehicle that had an oil leak, assuring me it was completely safe. To get it fixed, the official service charged me over $7000. They claimed they repaired it, but after just 2 months, it started leaking oil again. What a waste of time and money! I'm preparing to meet with lawyers and take legal action against them. Just thought you should know...
On 7.7.21, I bought a Certified 2018 RAV4 XLE from this car dealer
On 7.7.21, I bought a Certified 2018 RAV4 XLE from this car dealer. They said I would get a Carfax report, but I didn't. I tried three times to get the report, and I emailed *** and ***, who work at this dealership. I gave all the info to ***, like the vehicle ID and stuff. I'm complaining because the dealer didn't give me the Carfax report like they said they would. They either don't want to keep their promise or they're hiding something.

I bought a car in May and it was brought to me in June, but they didn't give me any papers for the car. I called the car dealership's manager and he assured me they would expedite the paperwork. Despite his promise, there was no delivery the following morning. I informed the dealership of my intent to depart today in the new car, which I now cannot register. I own a $70,000 vehicle that I'm unable to drive legally. This situation seemed unfair. They had assured me the documents would be inside the vehicle upon delivery.
My name is redacted
My name is redacted. I bought a 2016 Altima from the dealer on 11/20, and the CARFAX report of the car on that day showed no structural damage, but now as I'm about to sell it, a new CARFAX report indicates pre-purchase structural damage. I'm unsure of the discrepancy and feel deceived. The first three attachments are the dealer-provided CARFAX report from the purchase date, and the others are the recent CARFAX report.
3 years ago I bought a Tacoma at Toyota of Huntington Beach
3 years ago I bought a Tacoma at Toyota of Huntington Beach. I always took my truck to the dealer for service, but 3 months ago they did a bad job. So, I decided to take my car to a mechanic I know. He checked the car and told me that the dealer hadn't been servicing it properly.
I bought the car on January 17th from salesperson Mac, and the finance manager was unresponsive.
I bought the car on January 17th from the salesperson named Mac, and the person who handled the finance for me was unresponsive. I purchased an extended warranty for $2,745 and additional coverage for $431, but I didn't buy the Alarm System. However, one week later, I discovered that the finance manager added the alarm system, which costs $1,195, even though I didn't approve the purchase. I tried calling the finance manager to clarify, but he didn't answer or respond to me for over 4 weeks. Finally, on February 16th, he answered my phone call. The finance manager added the alarm system to my contract without my approval, as shown in the attachment, and it cost $1,195. On February 18th, 2022, the finance manager informed me that if I remove the alarm from the Gap, the price of the extended warranty will increase. This is not what the dealer and finance person told me when I was purchasing. On February 18th, I called Toyota Finance to clarify the warranty and request a refund of $1,195. They said I have to deal with the car dealer directly because it is not part of Toyota finance. I just want a refund of $1,195 and to have the alarm that I didn't buy removed.
I'm really disappointed with my experience at Toyota of Huntington Beach
I'm really disappointed with my experience at Toyota of Huntington Beach. First, we called and put down a deposit to reserve a vehicle. A few days later, we called again to see if the vehicle was ready to purchase, but they said it was in the shop being repaired. We waited another week and called again, only to find out that they had actually sold the vehicle by mistake, even though they had earlier claimed it was too damaged. This is really unprofessional.
They offered to find us another car and promised us a good deal. We agreed on a price and I made sure to ask multiple times to confirm that it was the correct price. They assured me that it was, but then they decided to change the contract without informing us. They added more payments and fees, increasing the total cost of the car that we would have to pay. The people at the finance office told us one thing, but ended up lying and doing something else. I felt misled.
To make matters worse, they didn't let us see the contract because they said they needed us to sign it first so they could print it out. When they finally printed it, they didn't even let us see it before folding it up and giving it to us. This lack of transparency is really frustrating.
Overall, my experience at Toyota of Huntington Beach was extremely disappointing. The miscommunication, unprofessionalism, and lack of transparency left me feeling frustrated and misled. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
I bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid XSD 2022 at Toyota of Huntington Beach
I bought a Toyota Camry Hybrid XSD 2022 at Toyota of Huntington Beach. The salesman lied and didn't provide necessary information about the transaction. They didn't disclose that the MSRP was $34,376. I asked if there was any mistake when they sold it to me for $37,762 dollars and they said no. I asked the manager to refund the difference and he said it was my fault for signing the contract. Now that I have done the maintenance service, I asked the salesman why he didn't give me the second key that is given when purchasing a new vehicle. He replied, "Well, I didn't promise you the second key and you didn't ask for it when you signed the contract. So I cannot help you now." Why do I have to tell these people how to do their job correctly? Lying about the mistake and not providing the second key is just incompetent. They also didn't disclose that Toyota had 2 years of free maintenance care. I ended up refinancing the car with a credit union and canceling the unnecessary warranties because dealing with these people is irritating and just a waste of time. I do not recommend anybody to buy from Toyota of Huntington Beach. Their customer service is overwhelmingly terrible.
This car buying experience was the worst ever
This car buying experience was the worst ever. They straight up lied to me and pulled a classic bait and switch scam. Let me tell you what happened. So, I went online and contacted Toyota of Huntington Beach and talked to this guy named Daniel R. I told him what we wanted and that our max price was $36k out the door, taxes and fees included. I even mentioned that I had $6k for a down payment and financing set up with Chase. I also mentioned that another dealership had offered us the same price and asked if they could match it since they were closer. Daniel talked to his manager and then called and texted me back saying they could match the $36k price. So, I left work early and drove over there with my wife and baby. Everything seemed alright while we were there. We test drove the car, they confirmed the price again, and then we started doing the paperwork. I sat there for an hour signing papers with the finance manager before we finally got to a document that showed the actual price I was paying (of course, they saved that for last after I had wasted a bunch of time already). And guess what? It was about $6k more than what we agreed on. Their excuse? "Oh, you meant $36k for the total price? We thought you meant $36k for the loan amount after your down payment of $6k." I don't know about you, but to me, "max total price" doesn't mean "loan amount size". And guess what? They couldn't even give me a good reason for their mistake. It was obviously a scam to get me in the door and then hit me with the higher price at the very end, hoping I wouldn't notice. They flat out lied to me, wasted three hours of my evening, and I had to take a 30-minute Uber ride home (my wife had left early to put our baby to sleep. We thought I'd be driving home in the new car).

My issues are as follows: - Havent received second set of keys - Havent received rubber floor mats - Havent received wiper plug covering the bolt - Headlights misaligned - Requested security system sensitivity turned down or off - Havent received parts to broken DC outlet - Requesting someone certify its actually a certified pre-owned vehicle. Series of events: - Purchased vehicle and told to rerun for mats and second set of keys (Kam Foo)- Discovered vibration in steering wheel at speeds over 65mph - Returned, was told vibration was corrected and that mats would be shipped to me (***)- Vibration was not corrected - Made appointment and called twice to check if I should go to the offsite/scion location, I was told to come to the primary location - Upon arrival I was told I was supposed to go to the scion location and to return the next day - Mechanics repaired vibration and I was given the contact of the offsite person to contact (***) - I called to make appointment with *** but was informed he was out and that they would check if my parts were ordered and call back - I have not received a call back - Called again, told that they needed to check the status of the parts and that I would receive a call back - I did not receive a call back - Called and told the parts were in and that all repairs would take 5-6 hours and that if I wanted to receive a rental car I would need to pay for it myself - Contacted Kam Foo and directed to two persons to receive a rental car - Called *** 3x over the course of a week, leaving 3x voicemails requesting a call back. I have not received a call back yet. Update - received call from *** called *** back and he said hed order the parts. I told him *** told me that the parts were ordered. *** said hed check and call me back. I did not receive a call The series of events is ongoing and I am on the fourth day of my vehicle in the shop without any contact from Toyota.
I went to Huntington Beach Toyota and got really bad customer service
I went to Huntington Beach Toyota and got really bad customer service. They tricked me into thinking I could get out of a $63,000 contract. It all started when I went in for an oil change and a salesperson approached me, thinking I wanted a new truck. I told him I was only there for the oil change and not interested in buying a new vehicle. But he kept pressuring me, saying the newer truck was better than mine. Eventually, I got deceived into signing a new contract and getting the newer truck.
I had to trade in my old vehicle for this, but they didn't give me a fair price. They only gave me $35,000 for a truck they sold to me for $50,000. The salesperson lied to me about how much I would end up paying for the 2021 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Sport. He said it would be $54,000, but when I got home and looked at the contract, it said $63,000. I was really confused.
Because of this, I lost over $16,000 that I had put down on my previous Tacoma. They didn't give me anywhere near what my truck was worth, and I feel like I got ripped off when I traded it in. I tried talking to the manager, but he didn't do anything to help me. He didn't even try to find a deal within my budget or help me with my traded-in truck.
When I went back to the dealership because they never called me back, I had to return the Tacoma Sport. The sales manager, Marc, then put me on a lease for 5 years, where I owe over $70,000. He said it was my best option, but I'm really upset about this whole situation.
