I am writing to file a formal complaint against Mr. Checkout regarding the non-return of a retainer fee of $2,500, which has not been refunded as per our agreed terms. Additionally, Joel of Mr. Checkout has refused to engage in any conversations to resolve this matter.
About 2 years ago, I engaged the services of Mr. Checkout for to bring me orders, and as part of our agreement, I paid a retainer fee of $5000. The terms of our agreement specified that this retainer was refundable under certain if no orders was brought in, which have been met. Despite this, Joel of Mr. Checkout has not returned the balance of the retainer fee of 2500.
Furthermore, I have made multiple attempts to contact Joel to discuss the refund, but my efforts have been met with complete silence. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and has caused me significant inconvenience and financial strain.
I kindly request the Better Business Bureau's assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I seek the return of my $2,500 retainer fee and an assurance that Joel of Mr. Checkout will improve their communication practices to prevent similar issues for other customers in the future.
