They said nothing was wrong but the heater but it kept blowing cold air. Funny how a diffrent company came out and identified the problem- that there was a problem. I have to question their knowledge of tech, plus lack of service and poor customer service by the lady that answers their phone. Any heater blowing cold air is in need of repair. Never ever use them again. Steer clear.

Myers quoted me a price of $6750 for an Ameristar HVAC unit. They said I would get a $1000 upgrade credit from AHS, so I would only have to pay them $5750. I had three other HVAC companies come out and they all quoted me $5500-$5600 for the same unit, but without any anticipated credit. This means that Myers added the $1000 credit that AHS would have given me to their quote. They would have ended up with my $1000 upgrade allowance and an extra $150-$250 on top of the regular price for the unit. I wouldn't recommend using Myers unless you have to stick with AHS and don't want to pay anything out of pocket.

Myers Comfort Specialists is a company that should never be used. They never returned our calls and never gave us any itemized estimates for any of the $***+ "out-of-pocket" charges over and above America Home Shields payment that Myers claimed were necessary to replace our air handling unit. We have a policy with American Home Shield, but they did not even report all of the issues to them. AHS ended up having two work orders associated with the same air handling unit repairs due to the incompetence of the Myers staff. We eventually got our claim with AHS reassigned to another air conditioning repair service. Three weeks without a/c in June and starting over now with a new service provider thanks to Myers! 0 out of 5 stars!

This company is a joke. They were sent out for a second opinion on my AC and heater. They got my heater running, but when they came back for the second opinion, they charged me $300 to clean my coils. I wasn't told that anything was wrong the first time. Then, the second time, they put in preconditions, which was totally wrong. I proved to my insurance that they were trying to deny my claim until I showed them the evidence. In the end, my insurance went with another company. I would never recommend using this company. It seems like if you have insurance, they will give you the runaround. They charged me $300 the second time they came out. If it was preconditions, why didn't they mention it the first time?

We've been tryin to get sumone to give us an estimate for a complete hvac & duct system evry day but havent been contacted by them for 4 days. I guess they dont need the work. Saw them (***) ar *** home show, seemed like a very professional company. NOT SO.

We had Myers Comfort come over to fix our AC Unit in June 'cause it kept shutting off and not working right. The guy said he fixed it and the air was blowing like normal again. But then a few weeks later, we noticed water all over our bedroom, dining room, and living room. So we called Myers Comfort again in August. This time, the new guy said that their coworker messed up and didn't drain the P-Trap properly, which caused the water to overflow. The second guy fixed the problem, sucked up the water, and even took pictures of the damage. He wrote it all down on the invoice too. We tried calling the management a bunch of times, but they never called us back. Finally, I talked to this lady named Yolonda, and she passed me on to the supervisor, ***. He said the manager, ***, would call me back. Eventually, Yolonda called and said Myers Comfort wouldn't do anything about the water damage.

Myers replaced my thermostat with one that's not compatible with what I had. I had to pay an extra service fee because they didn't do their job. American Home Shield sent Myers out to my home on Feb. 19, 2021. The technician, Blaze, came to our home and couldn't find the issue with our furnace, so he concluded that our thermostat needed to be replaced. So our thermostat was replaced by mistake because that wasn't the issue at all. Once Blaze left our house, the issue continued to occur and wasn't fixed. So I called Myers back, and on Feb. 22, 2021, Andrew came out and actually found the issue. The problem was the Main Level Rollout Switch needed to be replaced, and on Feb. 23, 2021, Myers came back out to replace the switch. So Myers replaced our Honeywell thermostat (valued at over $90.00) with a cheaper $20 to $30 thermostat (Braeburn). This was replaced by mistake, and the thing is not compatible with what we had. I've left several messages for a manager to call me, and it's been 2 months, and no one has called me back. So about a month later, Myers had to come back out to our house because we were still having issues. The furnace was doing the exact same thing it was when they left, and with me not trusting that the issue was fixed, I placed another service call. Okay, Brandon came out on Apr. 2, 2021, and was VERY disrespectful. He argued with me in front of my KIDS and WIFE about wearing a mask in my house. He told me "Whatever man" and proceeded to walk into my house with no mask. He's walking into my house without me telling him to come in! So I had to tell him to leave my house. I was charged by American Home Shield $75 for this visit, and this guy was very disrespectful and didn't do anything. Once he apologized, he came in, looked at the furnace, and was about to leave without troubleshooting anything. He disrespected my entire family because he did this in front of my FAMILY.
