Extremely bad service to international patient
I have received extremely bad services from the international office of RN Tagore Narayana Hospital, Kolkata. Since I changed the hospital, I needed some help with eFRRO or something of that sort. They told me to go to a computer shop to do that. I did that but the shop charged me 1200 INR which was supposed to be free of cost, they could have charged me 200-500 INR for service. I have checked the website and then wanted to complain to the team through a phone call but they were like- what can we do? They sounded very negligent. It was my worst medical experience. It seems like a third-grade govt hospital. I just came here for a check-up.

My policy covers twin bed sharing and Narayana HSR GIVES ME twin bed for policy
Here they say for same policy I have to take 3 bed sharing. My father had surgery and they want him to stay in that. Rooms are pathetic for 8000 for 3 bed sharing,
When my father was in ICU we saw Covid patient taken inside next to my dad and later they took him out immediately. How are they so negligent.

Follow up Video Consultation Booking
Unable to book the free follow up video consultation appointment with the doctor. Again the website is asking to pay the consultation fees. NH Care customer care responded that within 6 days, the follow up appointment had to be taken. But, when i called they were telling that the slots are booked. But there were free slots available online.

I kept my bag in the NH hopital Basement female changing room on 16th august [protected]@ 8:00am. I came back at 1:00pm. By that time someone had stolen a 2000 Rs and an earphone from my bag.
The authority has said that its not their responsibility if we are losing any valuables.
But I wonder... Only staffs will be able to enter into the changing room and Why Narayana Hrudayalaya have to conserve thefts in their institution. Last year my juniour lost her mobile phone and no actions where taken because of our poor managament.I know its my mistake to keep my money in rhe changing room but Naryana have to take immediate action against this. My Mother in law was Rushed to Emergency ward due to some sudden Pain after Operation and the Response by Duty Doctors. nurses. Staff was Excellent and they all deserve Appreciation but at the Billing Counter an Idiot fellow named Rakesh has Harrased me and my wife (3 Month Pregnant) for no reason and made us to wait more than 1hr and his seat was empty without any alternative staff. When we questioned about this his reply was Coffee Time and replyed in Vague and Rude manner.
He has Literally Harrased our Entire Family. He is unfit to be part of your Valuable Organisation.
Will wait for immediate action from the management and if no Action is initiated then the matter will be Brought before all the Platforms and I will initiate Legal Proceedings and Register My Complaint before Jurisdictional Police Aithority and also before the Competent Court against this Idiot Fellow who has not only harrased us but many members of Patients Family who were waiting for hours...

Highly unsatisfied post visiting the doctor paying such a hefty consultation fee. The doc. is only keen in getting several tests done without even examination and providing medicine.
Just for a minor foot injury, they want want to bill customer. Money making business nothing more. I tried connecting with Narayana on this but no action yet and they are least bothered to resolve patient queries post billed.

Desired outcome: I would like to get a refund on consultation 1100 inr/ xray 490 inr imposed unnecessarily as we are not satisfied with the service.
Patient treatment
My mother uhid [protected], INP 1765-[protected] was rushed to emergency department with simple vomiting problem and a slight restless. The condition was not that critical that she should have been admitted or treated in Emergency Care unit or HDU. But she is purposely kept in HDU and to do high billing as she is a TPA patient. I checked with your person they said that she needs some tests to be done but these tests can also be done in general ward instead of HDU were charges are high.. It has been 2 days her vitals are normal but still she is not being shifted to general ward after multiple request. Also your persons call us to take approval to order test of high value but never call us to tell us about the clinical outcomes or the patient condition. Even the doctors are not available to talk on phone or in person meeting. It is the right of the patient to know its clinical progress. Is this the level of care and treatment we should expect. ?

I am writing to make a complaint against one of your colleagues name Sharmila M (304184) who sits in the Package Office room no. 4. After today's meeting with Dr. Devi Shetty Prasad when Dr. Devi Shetty suggested for a surgery, we went to know the estimated amount. At first we were told around Rs. 400000 for the surgery and when we explained about our financial situation and requested for some discount, she spoke very rudely and was angry, and blamed us for being poor and coming to your hospital. All the doctors that we have met so far at your hospital were very kind and welcoming and spoke in a very friendly manner. But today we were surprised to such a rude behaviour staff. She behaved that way as she thought we were beggars who came there to get free treatment. She said why come to your hospital if we want discount. We came all the way to India we a great hope to get better treatment as we don't have such hopes in Bangladesh. But today that staff's rude behaviour was very disappointing.

The billing department here at SRCC Mumbai not helping us after insurance rejection. We have been asking management since five days still no solution..as our discharge day is near, they are asking us to pay for the services and surgery we haven't even taken.
Hope for help from here. Tomorrow is my babies discharge. Need help asap

Last 2 days she is emergency without a ICU bed and today morning they told us move to a ward...there is no private ward available

Poor Service, poor consultation and poor patient handling with no hygiene
Extremely disappointed with service provided for old age patient, for cardiology consultation from Narayan hrudayalaya, Boomasandra.
I came with my father for his heart consultation on 11 Oct 2021, with prior appointment booked for a normal check up. The doctor had already prescribed a list of pathology test that I carried with me. After doctor consultation, he was referred to make CT scan which will take 5mins. I paid for CT scan. At CT scan, We had to wait for very long and after a long time they made the patient lie down on the CT scan bed/ blanket with no hygiene.
Later, they took several signatures from patient without informing any details on the document he is signing on. After a very long time, they start to quiz on the patient history and said that CT scan might be harmful for the patient. The hospital correspondent, requested to refund the amount. Even though I paid the amount, they insist to return the money only to patients accounts.
Nayarana Hrudayalaya is an esteemed hospital and we expected a high level of consultation/service. A heart patient was induced with high level of stress due to mismanagement from hospital. The hospital is liable to give the service for amount paid which is not the case.
Even now, we are not sure if we can trust on the consultation provided. I kindly request to refund the consultation fees as soon as possible as the hospital was not able to provide the service.

Capt. (Now Advocate) . I am under your eye treatment since many years. It will be self-explanatory if you go through the records which is available on your Computer. When I started treatment there was no much problem in my eyes. But the concerned Dr. prescribed ‘Myseft 500. After taking the medicine for a long period of one year, my eyes problem deteriorated. Now the condition of my eyes ie right eye became dark in central place and also like spider nets and that minute dots -black and white appeared. But on the left eye: spider net like, dots -in black and white.
Recently I am continuously attending eye treatments in your Hospital, but to my utter dismay, it has been increased and now I humbly request you to call me for a check up but the present Doctor should not participate.

Non refund of the consultation fees in spite of repeated persuasion
On 12th May 2021 I booked an online consultation slot for 1445 hrs of 13/05/2021 from mobile number [protected] for Dr Sumit Mukherjee, Endocrinologist of RN Tagore Hospital Mukundapur, Kolkata 700099, but the Doctor didn't turn up and as such then and there I contacted the Bangalore Office of Narayana, who promised to refund the money in my Google Pay account, but in spite of my repeated approach to them, the amount has not yet been refunded.

Refused covid vaccination despite having a valid appointment
Hi,
This is Tribenee Bhuyan writing this to lodge a complaint regarding vaccination not offered despite having a valid vaccination appointment in Narayana superspeciality Hospital situated in Amingaon. I was told that since today 04 July, 2021 is a sunday they are not offering vaccination. I booked the slot from cowin portal where it was showing slots available on 04 July, 2021. My slot was successfully booked and received confirmation message and appointment details.
But when i arrived at the hospital i was refused to provide vaccination saying that it is canceled since its sunday. However i was never informed earlier about any kind of cancellation.
I request you to look into this matter, since i have traveled from very far this was a very horrible experience. Looking forward for a proper action here.
They have provided the reason of cancellation in written only after asking several times( sent email confirmation at 2:36 PM only after i requested exclusively for an cancellation

MY FATHER DLIP KUMAR GHOS MRN [protected] IS UNDER TREATMENT AT NARAYANA SUPER SPECIALITY HOSPITAL ANDUL, HOWRAH . I MADE A CALL FROM [protected] AT 2.45 PM approx in [protected] ON 01/7/21 .They told me that TPA department is busy at that time .I should call after few time .I called again FROM [protected] AT 5.10 PMapprox in [protected] and told the customer care executive to transfer the call to TPA department .They told me TPA department is closed we cannot transfer .I have seen the employees of TPA dept stay in office upto 6-6.30PM and sometimes beyond that .I need to inquire about a approval for my fathers chemo treatment . As we d onot stay in kolkata we tried to contact them via telephone .Inspite of several request to the customer care executive she did not tried to transfer the call rather she cut the call .This is complete unexpected form group like narayana .

Not refunding money
I had a appointment with Dr. Saurabh Bhargava (Urologist) on 13th of May 2021 at 1:00 PM. But due to their technical issue I will not be able to do so but till date i'v not got my refund money back and I have already complained 10 times regarding the same thing but not getting nay response. This is the worst thing I can ever face.

COVID vaccination
I got myself vaccinated on 22/5 at Narayana hrudalaya. My patient mrn [protected]. The staff have not updated the cowin portal and my vaccination status still shows pending. This was brought to the notice of concerned person. Mails sent, calls made, reminders .. nothing seems to work. Hope they realise the impact of their negligence in scheduling my second dose. Waiting to get this rectified asap.
