misleading and conflicting responses
My 89-year-old mother signed up for this "policy" and within a month called the center again to cancel, once she realized she had misunderstood her need for it. She was billed over $200 dollars, and forfeited this. In a subsequent phone call, I, her sone, spoke to a representative and asked that the account be cancelled and that we were not requesting a refund, simply a cancellation. i was told the account was cancelled, and took the name of the rep with whom I spoke. Several weeks later we received a notice that our "Extended Vehicle Service Agreement" was about to be terminated due to "non-payment, " and indicated an amount due of $1, 972.66. I called again, and was told that we did owe this money and that the account was not terminated, in fact could not be cancelled over the phone, and that I could not even discuss the terms of the account because I was not qualified to speak on behalf of my mother. I will have to call again, with my mother on the line, and meanwhile we continue to risk our credit rating or who knows what else. Their story does not add up, and we never received any services nor any details of the services supposedly offered.

false and misleading information
i bought an extended warranty on my vehichle, when i spoke to the man on the phone it was stated to me that if i did not use any part of the policy at any point i would be refended my money in full. due to the fact that i lost my job and could no lnger pay for this i terminated my policy and tried to get a refund, which i was told that thry would keep over a third of it. the man i spoke with which was a george jones was very rude and said there was no way i could speak to a supervisor. at that point i stated to him that o i would be contacting my attorney, so before you sign amything or have people take money out of your account auotmatically monthly . make sure they are legitimate and stand behind there word...

I have been an employee with the Real National Auto Division for a year now everyone has their point in a way. First of all people use their credit cards everyday over the phone but if your smart you will check your transactions everyday you are protected by the card issuer for any "false" transactions. When you recieve a call be honest and most importantly LISTEN! ask any questions and they will be answered. The company has been in operation for a long time and simply brokers coverage for great insurance companies (i.e. Gold Key, American Auto Shield.) look them up on the BBB.org A+ ratings for all. Its smartest if you do review the coverage available to you and if you feel you were mislead cancel you get 100% refund no problem. anymore questions feel free to contact me by email. kgfield6@aol.com
lying as sales tactic
I was sold a preview policy by a Steve Castelli. I was told that I had 30 days to preview and all I needed was to call to cancel within the 30 days. I attempted once to call and Mr. Castelli told me he would need to speak with my husband to cancel the policy. Upon my second phone call nearing the 30 day, Mr. Castelli told me I would need to send a cancelation letter in writing. I asked to speak to his supervisor because I was quite unhappy about the deception that all it took to cancel was a phone call. Mr. Castelli refused to give me the name of his supervisor. I am very concerned that this policy will not be canceled and am disappointed by the misguided sales tactics and lies that this company uses.

I have worked for The National Auto Division for over a year now, and have nothing but postive things to say. 95% of the complaints are made by disgruntled employees or peole who didnt listen fully or read their warranty. Any questions or for help please don't hesitate to contact me, as I stand behind the coverage and the company 100%. My email is kgfield6@aol.com

This company called my home phone 30 times within 30 days. When I picked up, there was nobody. I called back and spoke to an agent. He said he had my car's VIN number and wanted to offer extended coverage. He had to agree it's an optional coverage after I asked. I declined the offer and asked him to remove my number from their database. I am still getting calls. This is a pesty company.
I CALLED TO CANCEL MY POLICY WITH IN 7 DAYS AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD TO SUBMIT A LETTER TO CANCEL THE POLICY. I WAS TOLD THAT IF AFTER I READ THE MATERIAL AND WANTED TO CANCEL ALL I HADTO DO WAS CALL AND I WOULD RECEIVE MY REFUND BACK WITH NO PROBLEM. I EVEN TRIED TO FAX A LETTER TO TWO DIFFERENT NUMBERS AND THE FAX WOULD NOT GO THRU. I FINALLY EMAILED THEM TO CANCELL THE POLICY. WHY IS IT THAT THEY CAN TAKE YOUR INFORMATION AND WITHDRAW FROM YOUR ACCOUNT BUT YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH A LENGTHLY LINE TO GET A REFUND AND HAVE TO SIGN ALL KIND OF PAPER WORK. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT. ANOTHER RIP OFF AND NO ONE STANDS UP FOR THE LITTLE GUY WHO HAS T WAIT TO COLLECT HIS MONEY. MR. WARD, BATTLE CREEK, MI
