Nexway Avast

Nexway took £39.99 from my paypal account. Pay pal says this is a pre arranged agreement, but I did not agree to it. I can't get Avast onto my computer so the renewal they say it paid for has not happened. I need that money refunded to my account. I have been trying various ways to dispute this since September, but I'm getting no where. I'm very disappointed with Avast. I've used them for years, but I can't get to the bottom of this. It's obviously fraud, but it's impossible to settle to matter. I'm cancelled any agreement with Paypal now, but how do I get refunded?

Nexway Avast Renewal without Permission

My att.net email has been compromised for some time. You elected to use the practice of "if you don't respond to our emails, we will automatically renew." Today, after resolving email problems, I got two reminder emails from you about renewing Avast. And a 3rd email confirming that I had renewed. I did not renew. I am challenging your credit card charge to my account of $39.95 made on 4/11/14. Here in North Carolina, the Attorney General considers what you did as fraudulent practice. Either credit my account, or I will lodge a formal complaint with the AG's office. I am calling my credit card company to dispute the charge. I do not want Avast, or I would have renewed it when reminders popped up. In fact, reminders still pop up as if it has not been renewed, even though you charged me a renewal fee, We do not like fraudulent practice here in North Carolina. My wfie's computer was recently scammed by this company -for $599.99. She got a loud beeping sound that her computer was recently hacked & she was to call a number. Personally, I believe the hack came from them. They identified themselves as FSPT Support. The charge of course came through as Nexway. I told the guy on the phone I was not interested. In very broken English, he told me it was too late, that the work was already done. This was bull. Fortunetly, the maunfacturer of the computer was able to remove this & fix the computer at no charge. Unfortunetly, I am now in the process of working with my bank to get this removed. I could go on and on - Buyer beware!

I was just billed 49.99 on my Visa from AVAST-Nexway with no notice. I haven't used AVAST in several years, and am sure have being charged annually, but overlooked. I have called numerous numbers to Include AVAST and Nexway to no avail..Same is true for emails, as they don't recognize my address, and I don't have a License number or order confirmation...This is a scam of large proportions and suggest we all report to our State's Attorney Generals. I already have...I have disputed the charge to my credit card, but have little hope of getting a refund. The bank has cancelled my card, and going to re-issue a new one, which will exasperate the situation. I have other legitimate services auto billed to my card, that will have to be updated

The same happened to me.. i notified Paypal, and they had removed them from my account, so this don't happen again.. as for my refund of $69.99 I'm trying to get it back.. I just emailed them a letter, stating i too, didn't give them permission.. I'm soon talking to my bank as soon as they open. .. It was rereshing to know, at least Paypal had taken them and others off my account! just wanted everyone else to know, that's gone through the same!

Yep me to had purchased avasti nexway [protected] for $59.00 i just got charged 11 months and one week later $99.99 for a 2 year subscription ..I have received no emails or advise for a renewal or that this would happen.. the active package i have at the moment does not expire for another 6 days.. i am very irate and also have now defaulted on my house repayment with no other means of paying it, I have contacted my bank cancelled my debit card and launched a fraud investigation into this illegal debit of my account. my research online has revealed hundreds of people world wide complaining of the same illegal debits and some of these people have been debited twice . avasti nexway and also digital river, , cancel your card people launch fraud proceedings and never deal with either of these company's again. $99.99 worth of vengeance for me.. if they want to keep my money then i will make them earn it.

My Name is Vicki and I have been charged $69.99 AU to my credit card which is even a new number this month so how were you able to charge me.! I have not had AVAST free for 2 years I am very angry I want that money returned to my account, I will also speak to my bank regarding this and why you were able to charge me without an authorization. Very angry bad practice Nexway.

Il y a quelques jours, j'ai reçu une facture de 64.99$ dont le service doit se terminer dans quelques jours. Je ne comprends pas. J'ai déjà payé pour ce service en décembre 2015. De plus, je ne vous ai jamais autorisé de débiter cette facture sur ma carte de crédit. Vous devez obtenir cette autorisation à chaque renouvellement. Veuillez donc interrompre le paiement, ainsi que le service. J'ai besoin plus d'explication. Il est impossible de vous rejoindre au numéro de téléphone qui vous nous soumettez, c'est un mensonge. Il me faut des explications le plus rapidement possible. Pour vous rejoindre vous nous demandez de " connecter à l'espace client" qui nous mène nulle part.

I have just renewed and upgraded my Avast Software through NEXWAY. Received the invoice and am able to login to see my purchase.
The only thing I haven't received is the Activation License key!
Several requests for the activation key have been fruitless so far. It has only been 14 hours after the purchase however!

So far, no response from Avast other than they don't know my email address etc, so no record of purchase. AVAST really need to take more responsibility for bad resellers. They'll damage their reputation and bottom line if they don't, no matter how good their software is. Customer Service on purchase is critical for Company growth. I should know...!
Rang my credit card company, who confirm the purchase. Credit card company has been told to dispute the purchase unless they hear back from me.
Judging by the emails in this complaints blog, I'd be wise to ask for a new credit card to be issued in case they take more from my account.
Not impressed so far, have no faith at all in Nexway, or AVAST do wake up to this. Had no problem a year ago when I made a purchase. Will not be buying AVAST again, totally lost trust in them. Bit ironic when you consider it's virus software...supposed to protect you from fraud and infection and people like this. Perhaps they should add themselves to the "suspicious activity sites list"
Wake up AVAST...don't allow a reseller blacken your reputation.
Will start putting out my experience on FB and Twitter.

I renewed my software licence on 21st January for $39.99 and paid via PayPal (This was for a 2 year subscription) and on 7th March I was debited via my PayPal account without my Authorisation another $3.99. I have contacted the provider and yet have had no response.
I think this problem amounts to fraud.
No a happy customer!

Nexway I don't even know them

I noticed the unknown withdrawal from my account. The unknown company Nexway Software charged me for $34.99, and I have no idea who these people are and for what services they take money. I haven’t found the contact information, and I have no idea how to find them. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.
