Nokia nokia care cannot fix my phone problem and do not want to change it

Dear Nokia,

I bought Nokia n79 on August, 2009 from RAYA shop at Obour branch and at the same date of my purchase i found my mobile while it was working normally or making a call " the operator signal cut off then it appears to me sim card registration field and there is no choice except ok and when i press ok appears a white screen with the following message insert sim card" so i have to move the battery to restart the phone i went back to the RAYA shop to ask to change the phone he refused to change it until i change the sim card from my network operator i indeed changed the sim card twice as he request because it may be this problem come from the sim card the problem was still appears as i mentioned above so i went back to him again with the receipts that indicate that i have changed the sim card twice then he changed the phone to me by the same model N79.Unfortunately, the problem still the same i thought that it may be from the software i went through the internet to update the software as much as i could to fix this problem but it still the same, i went to NOKIA CARE on December 12, 2009 they took the phone to forward it to the main office of maintenance i took it back on December 19, 2009 and they told me that they have changed some technical component in the board but the problem still the same i return it back to NOKIA CARE on December 23, 2009 and showed the problem to the manager and received it back on December 31, 2009 and they told me that my phone is working normally and there are no problems with it i found strange from this report, the problem still the same and went to NOKIA CARE on January 12, 2010 and met the manager called " Ahmed" and i have showed the problem to him and he make a complain to me and forward it to the head office requesting him to change the phone by another model then i called the customer service to know what happened they told me that my phone is working normally and my phone is ready to received on December 17, 2010. To be informed that i every time they took my phone i called the customer service and make a complain.

Hi i received a sms to inform me that i won money through nokia on my mtn nr they asked me to pay R1440.00 MTN air time in then after that they say I have to pay in anothe R2880.00 before I can get my money I asked for a bank account to pay the money in The lady at the bank report that the acc is used in scams so now it seems as if it was a scam how can I find out what is going on

Nokia fake mail

I have received a mail from Nokia Business Promotion That I have won some prices of money which is as follows: I wanted to know why this kind of bogus people cheating others. I have not heard any thing that some people got the money thru' this similar type of mail. Normally some of the people may fall with this mercy of this fake mail.

Nokia relacement for mobile

Dear sir/madam,

My name is siddiq basha from coimbatore (Tamil nadu). I was purchased nokia n97 last three month before, (Wlan no: 00266873631b3 imei no: [protected] item no: 002k9d5) so that mobile was problem on buying with three days. I went to nokia care, met to manager. He asks to me, that mobile problem was not easy to ready with this center. So I will transfer for this mobile at level 3 nokia care head office, that problem with solve after 10 days. But he will taken 20 days for that problem. So am not happy that at all. I will request for replacement for this mobile, but he will not accept and adjusted to me. Come again for more complaints on mobile, (Problem mentioned for it. , battery back up was empty, mike not working with on for loudspeaker, several times mobile was automatically restart and hanging) I will used for properly condition. Many times, I went to nokia care center for this kind of problems. Than, we are always not responsible to me. Most of calls for used in customer care services; they were not response to my queries. So I felt to more time depression for start for that problem. Than I was used for that mobile just for 20 days on hand. Finally, I requisition for destination is replacement for this mobile. This request for you will not accept for this complaint or any for at all. Defiantly I will go to consumer court. If u don’t mistaken for me. I didn’t any way for this problem. Reply for us to immediately on current status

Nokia hanging problem

I bought phone 10 months ago. Its started troubling just after 2 months of purchasing. Nokia care told me to use phone without memory card. I did so, but still it not ok. Since last month i have send this phone for repairing to nokia care 4 times. And it is still not ok.

Nokia memory problem

i m pallavi mahajan from jammu...i bought a nokia 7610 supernova on 20th january 2009...the problem is that on the net its internal memory is given to be 64mb but in real its internal memory is 26.7mb only...its totally a fraud, nokia is cheating people like this...once i have told the regional manager about this but no action has been taken yet...i went so mant times to nokia care but they always say that we have talked about this in the company...i told them to replace my set, but now its almost an year and i purchased the cell for Rs.10, 800, nw i want the money back...i am going to the court also to launch a complaint...my no is [protected]

Nokia my nokia hangs every time I use it fr more than 4 to 5 min

my nokia n 97 has a problem...

since i bought the phone i have not used it for more than 15 days.. after that i have been given at least 3 to 4 new handsets as stand by phones which also have the same problem...

i would like some to take some serious steps to give me a phone which works.. in nokia..

i am feb up of changing phone using stand by from nokia..

nokia being such a reputed brand has launched a very bad model which is expensive...
the worst things is we cant use the phone for more than 5 min it hangs.

Nokia won r95 000

I received an sms this morning: congratulations! Your number have been randomly picked in our end of year nokia promotion, you have won r95 000 (With a reference number that I will confirm with nokia alone). Please contact your claim agent on [protected] and claim your won prize.
If this is another scam then I will request nokia to look into these matters, because it is doing damage to a very good brand. I lost my job and took a bad knock financially this year. Having people like this trying to scam more money of me just aint funny! Please look into this matter, because this is damaging to nokia which I feel is a very good brand name. What is the objective of all this? You can contact me at [protected]@seeff.com

"Congratulation! your mobile no has won R195 000. FROM NOKIA PROMO. with ticket no. 0166P. for claim call Mrs Portia Zulu [protected]." By looking at the punctuation, one can see that this is a scam. Someone working for Nokia would know that a sentence starts with a capital letter for starters.

Hi all, the prize money has gone up to R450 000.00. Just imagine the temptation in all the debts you can pay. Ignorance get the best of everyone who is in need of CASH! But than, lets look who is at fault in all of this? Our Government insist that we must RICA our simcards by disclosing our personal details as well as the FAIS compliance. So the scam syndicate get excess of our numbers from those who work for the government, we need to go out there and SHOUT or else we are DOOMED! Nokia is also responsible as far as I'm concern, cause all these scams are related to their BRAND name. Please let us be protected as Vodacom customers. Andy S.(matyozaLol!

I also received an sms last night at 23:58 from a cell number :[protected]
saying that I won R265 000 with REF NO: ####. It states that I must call a Lucas Smith on [protected] between 09:00Am and 6Pm. I don't even own a Nokia cell phone. My husband received the same sms. We have Blackberry phones and are with MTN. How the did they get our numbers in any case. Please Nokia, sort these people out...

Hi all, these scammers must have a whole network of numbers to use, maybe they employ people to use their own numbers for this scam and pay them a commission for any monies scammed, whatever method they use its a scam...

Here is the latest scam number to watch out for:

Sms recieved from cell [protected] and to call Portia Zulu at [protected] to claim your R95 000...
Have'nt bothered to react, but sure hope that fraud division will call them, trace the number, and take action. Its enough that the economy is down and the people are suffering to make ends meet. The desperate will clutch at any straws to get a windfall like this. South Africans are ripe for the pickings and to get scammed out of whatever we have left...

I received sms from [protected] to call [protected], [protected] to claim price. The person was groggy and dont know how to talk on phone.I realised it was a scam. We see all these complaints with peoples names and numbers yet there is no response from NOKIA or relevant authority.THIS SAYS A LOT.

I received an sms says ""We wish to inform you that your network no. has meritted R95000 Ref.no. 0166p. Call [protected] from 8am- 6pm""
I phoned this number abd the lady called Portia Zulu answered she said I won in the Nokia Promo, I have to buy 2X eartime of R180 so that they will process the money to my bank account. I send the airtime, but not receiving any responce from them Please South African dont be the victim of this scam as I am hoping that Nokia will act immediately in this matter.

I received 2 meeages . One telling me I won R500, 000 on my one phone this afternoon and ref was [protected] was refered to come and pickup my check at the waterfrond, Nokia promotion house.
Then I received at midnight an other sms on my second phone to tell me I won R265, 000 have to phone [protected].
Please Nokia, after all this FICA issues I hope you can get them

Nokia hang & only read key working

I am sorry that i have purchased a handset nokia make model - 5130 Express music.
The instrument started causing problem within a period of 1 month of its purchase or so in such a way that it automatically gets hang, when I visited service centre in 10th dec 2009 they gave me JOB SHEET...& say 25 days latter, you contact us !

I purchased Nokia 5130 in Oct2009 and from the starting it use to Hang. Its use to rectify if i remove my battery or sim. But today dated 17Jan2010, it permanently gthang. None of the key is working and even removing of battery or sim is not reverting it back. Its now painful to keep this mobile phone. Its processor is damm slow. Its a wastage of money and it is demolishing the NOKIA brand name from my mind.

Good day,
I received an sms from this no: [protected] that " congradulations, your no was among the lucky winner on the nokia yearly promotion. youwon r95000 with ticket no. 0166p. call paul benson [protected] for your cash prize".

I then call mr. paul, he told me to buy an r180.00 mtn airtime and send the voucher pin to him before i load it to my phone and also my banking details so that he can register me.

So i want to understand if is this promotion real or not, because i am scared of loosing r180.00 airtime and also scared of give out my banking details to a stranger.

Nokia improper service of nokia customer care

Dear sir, I have purchased nokia e71 set on 3rd april 2009 from jaipur, customer id [protected] and of lot no [protected], with 2 month of its purchase I found the set totally dead and non functional, during this period I was on official work to brahmpur (Orissa) where I have shown this set to nokia care, which was deopsited with them for 10 days and later they told that its battery is dead and it requires changing, but warranty of battery is of six month which has finished 2 days back, when I requested that I have deposited the set 10 days before, there answer was that the complain of mobile was done not of battery. Further after inserting a different battery the mob is not getting charged though it is showing the sign of getting charged. When the same set was shown to nokia set pathankote (Punjab) they r also not showing any sign of help, and there only answer is the battery is dead and it require changing.
