NorthlineExpress NorthlineExpress Customer Service Helped with Stove Flue Installation, but Lacked Offset Instructions

I gotta say, I had to put on my thinking cap when I was installing my stove flue, but NorthlineExpress had my back. The customer service was helpful, but I gotta admit, it was a little frustrating that the instructions and videos didn't cover offsets. I had about 8 to 10 inches between the stove flue outlet and where I needed to go to be centered between the rafters. I was sent over to the experts, but their chart only showed 45 degree elbows, which didn't really help me with such a small offset. So, I had to estimate the lengths of sections of pipe I needed. I ended up going with the kit for an 8-foot ceiling install, but we'll see how it goes. I'm holding off on ordering the class a double wall chimney pipe until I get to that point. Thanks for everyone's time.

NorthlineExpress Misleading Warranty and Poor Customer Service Experience with NorthlineExpress

I recently bought a lifetime fireplace grate from NorthlineExpress for my Fireplace Xtrordinair fireplace. The website advertised a lifetime warranty, which caught my attention. However, upon receiving the product, I noticed that the warranty did not cover wood stoves, inserts, or outdoor fireplaces. Unfortunately, my fireplace fell under the category of high efficiency fireplaces, which was also not covered by the warranty.

Feeling disappointed, I decided to contact NorthlineExpress customer service to return the item. The agent who answered my call did not introduce themselves, which made me feel a bit uneasy. I explained my situation and expressed my disappointment that the website did not clearly state the warranty restrictions. However, the agent seemed indifferent to my concerns and insisted that my fireplace was an insert, which was not covered by the warranty. I tried to explain that it was not an insert, but the agent did not seem to listen. To make matters worse, the agent informed me that I would be responsible for the return shipping, which added insult to injury.

Overall, my experience with NorthlineExpress was disappointing. I felt misled by the website's warranty information, and the customer service agent did not seem to care about my concerns. In the future, I will likely purchase similar products from Amazon, where I have had better experiences with customer service.

NorthlineExpress Disappointing Experience with NorthlineExpress: Delayed Shipping and Lack of Urgency in Fulfilling Orders

I recently made a purchase from NorthlineExpress for a ceiling box kit that cost me $484. I was excited to receive my order and start working on my project, but unfortunately, my experience with NorthlineExpress was not as smooth as I had hoped.

I had ordered from four different companies for this project, and NorthlineExpress was the last to arrive, taking at least five days longer than the other orders. I was disappointed and decided to call their customer service to inquire about my order. The person on the other end of the line seemed surprised that my order had not been shipped yet and promised to put in a note to have it shipped out immediately.

However, even with the promise of immediate shipping, my order still held up our project for a week or so. I was frustrated and felt like NorthlineExpress did not prioritize my order. If it were my company, I would have put a rushed shipping on it, especially since I had called a week or more after ordering and it still hadn't even shipped!

Despite the poor response to my order, the ceiling box kit itself was fine, and the woman on the phone was nice. However, I don't think anyone was interested in making up to the customer for the delay in shipping.

Overall, my experience with NorthlineExpress was not the best. While the product was satisfactory, the delay in shipping and lack of urgency in fulfilling my order left me feeling disappointed. I hope that in the future, NorthlineExpress can improve their shipping times and prioritize their customers' orders.

NorthlineExpress Disappointing Experience with NorthlineExpress: Delayed Wood Burning Insert and Poor Communication

We was really excited to get our hands on a wood burning insert from NorthlineExpress. We found it on their website and it said it was in stock, so we ordered it right away in oct 2022. But boy, were we disappointed when we found out that it wasn't actually in stock and we had to call customer service to find out what was going on. They told us that it wouldn't be available until the end of December. We were bummed, but we figured we could wait a little longer.

But then January 2023 came and went, and we still hadn't received our wood burning insert. We tried to reach out to NorthlineExpress to get an update, but we didn't hear anything back from them for a while. Finally, we got an email from them saying that it wouldn't be available until the end of April 2023. We were frustrated and confused - why was there such a long delay? And why hadn't they communicated with us sooner?

We understand that there are supply chain shortages and delays happening right now, but we still think that NorthlineExpress could have done a better job of keeping us informed. We spent thousands of dollars on this product, and we expected to at least be kept in the loop about what was going on. It's frustrating to feel like we're in the dark about something that we've invested so much money in.

At this point, we're not sure what we're going to do. We're considering seeking a refund, but we're not confident that the process will be smooth or easy. We're just really disappointed with our experience with NorthlineExpress, and we wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

NorthlineExpress Trustworthy and Reliable: My Experience with Northline Express

I gotta say, I've been a customer of Northline Express for a while now and I'm pretty impressed with their service. I've made six purchases from them so far and I wanted to wait until my latest one to write a review, just so I could give a more comprehensive opinion.

My most recent purchase was for chimney and stove pipe, along with all the accessories I needed for the project. Everything arrived on time and was packed up real nice, just like you'd expect from a company like this. However, one of the sections of pipe was damaged when it arrived. I was a little bummed out, but I knew I had to reach out to customer support to get it sorted.

I gotta say, the folks at Northline Express were super helpful. After a couple of emails back and forth to establish the damage and figure out a solution, they sent me a replacement section of pipe right away. And get this - I didn't even have to send the damaged one back first! That was a real lifesaver, because I was on a tight schedule with my project and I didn't want to have to wait for the RMA process to play out.

Since then, I've made a few more purchases from Northline Express and I've been pretty happy with everything. I think what really sets this company apart is how they handle problems when they come up. It's easy to be a good company when everything's going smoothly, but when something goes wrong, that's when you really see what they're made of. And in my experience, Northline Express has been a real stand-up partner.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend Northline Express to anyone looking for chimney or stove pipe supplies. They've got a great selection, good prices, and most importantly, they're a company you can trust to have your back when things don't go according to plan.

NorthlineExpress Impressive Prices and Fast Shipping - My Experience with NorthlineExpress

I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with NorthlineExpress. I had been on the hunt for some specific parts for my stove, and I already had the part numbers handy. So, I plugged them into the search bar on their website and boom, there they were! It was super easy to find what I was looking for.

Now, I'm not one to just jump on the first website I find, so I did my due diligence and compared prices among four different vendors. And let me tell you, NorthlineExpress beat them all! I saved over $200 compared to one other vendor, and it was half the cost of buying from the store that sold me the new stove. And the best part? All the vendors I compared offered free shipping, so I didn't have to worry about any extra costs.

The shipping came from two different locations, but everything arrived in about a week. Considering the weather conditions and delays nationwide, I thought that was pretty darn good. I wasn't in a rush to install the parts anyway, so a week was no biggie for me.

And let me tell you, the pipe and components were packed up real nice. There was absolutely no shipping damage, which was a huge relief. The weather here has been pretty rough, so I haven't been able to install the new stove yet. But the pipe is a brand name (Duravent), so I'm not expecting any issues with the quality.

Overall, I'm really happy with my experience with NorthlineExpress. They had great prices, fast shipping, and everything arrived in perfect condition. I'll definitely be keeping them in mind for any future purchases.

NorthlineExpress Disappointing Product and Customer Service: My Experience with Northline Express

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Northline Express. I bought the Spitfire Fire Place Heater, thinking it would be the perfect addition to my home. But boy, was I wrong. The thing just doesn't work. No matter what I do, I can't get the fire to stay lit for more than 5 minutes. And let me tell you, I've tried everything. My firewood is super dry, but even that doesn't seem to help.

So, I decided to give Northline Express a call and see if they could help me out. But when I spoke to Amanda, she was less than helpful. She basically told me that it wasn't their problem and that if I had used the product at all, it wasn't returnable. I mean, how am I supposed to know if it works or not if I don't try it out? It's just ridiculous.

To make matters worse, they expect me to pay over $600 for a product that doesn't even work. I mean, come on. That's just not right.

Now, I know they have this whole guarantee thing on their website, but let me tell you, it's a load of crap. They claim to have an A rating with the BBB and to always be looking out for the customer's best interest, but that's just not true.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Northline Express. The product is bad and the customer service is even worse. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

However, I experienced some significant trouble on the checkout page, which nearly caused me to abandon my purchase altogether. While I spent a considerable amount of time shopping on the site, I spent just as much time checking out, which was quite frustrating.

The site repeatedly offered a correction on my shipping address, which resulted in the payment information resetting each time. This caused me additional confusion, and I found it challenging to complete my transaction successfully.

I have been a loyal customer of NorthlineExpress for several years, relying on them for high-quality TACTRAPS and other products. However, my recent experience with them was far from satisfactory. I faced a significant challenge while placing an order on their website when I tried to enter separate billing and shipping addresses. Despite multiple attempts, I was unable to proceed, which led me to contact their customer care team.

After a frustrating wait of 7 to 10 minutes, I was able to speak with Josh, one of their representatives. While I expected an empathetic response, what followed was not quite what I'd hoped for. Though I expressed my concerns and frustrations, Josh's recommendation was simply to try again. I had hoped he would've taken the initiative to resolve the issue, but no such luck.

Feeling even more disheartened, I decided to abandon my purchase altogether. It was only after I had time to cool down that I received a "save email" from NorthlineExpress reminding me of my abandoned shopping cart. I decided to give it another try and return to the website, only to be met with the same issue again.

At this point, I was compelled to share my specific shipping address, hoping that it would solve the problem. I'm now hoping that my order is on its way to me at 131 Hoop N Holler address.

Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with NorthlineExpress. While their products remain of high quality, their customer support left something to be desired. I have been ordering from them for years, and I would expect better support for my loyalty.

This led me to NorthLine Express.com, where I must say, the ordering process was seamless and the shipping time was reasonable. However, when I received my order, I was taken aback to find a pair of used flip flops on top of the item I had ordered.

As someone who is concerned about hygiene, especially given the current pandemic situation, this was deeply disturbing. I can't help but wonder how this could have happened and what kind of quality control measures are being taken at NorthLine Express.com. While mistakes do happen, discovering someone's used footwear in a package is inexcusable.

As a result, I am now hesitant to purchase from NorthLine Express.com or any company that doesn't take proper care to ensure that their customers receive the quality products they deserve. From now on, I will be sticking to well-known companies like Amazon, Lowes, and others that prioritize customer safety and satisfaction in all aspects of their business.

I was excited to order from NorthlineExpress (northlineexpress.com). My initial order was for two items, as I saw that shipping was allegedly free. However, as I progressed through the check-out process, I was surprised to find that the shipping costs had escalated to $16.95. Despite attempting to remedy the situation by clicking on the shipping options, I was unable to amend the fee and forced to pay the increased amount. As a customer, I feel that this is incredibly unjust and borderline unethical. The shipping fee seems excessive and unreasonable, and I am disappointed by the lack of transparency and explanation.

I want to reiterate that I was excited about this purchase, and I truly believe in the product. However, this experience has made me hesitant to shop here again. Additionally, I feel that it is my responsibility to warn others about my encounter with NorthlineExpress. The shipping fee felt like a another form of a hidden cost, which is always an unpleasant surprise for any customer. NorthlineExpress Great Customer Service but Shipping Could Use Improvement- NorthlineExpress.com Review

I recently had a great experience with NorthlineExpress.com and wanted to share my thoughts. Firstly, I must give a big thank you to Josh who was a wonderful help in building my order. He was knowledgeable, efficient and personable, making the whole process so much smoother. I really appreciated his assistance in ensuring I received everything I needed for my chimney system.

However, the shipping experience was not so good. Unfortunately, all of the 8" Shasta chimney pipes arrived with dents in them. As someone who works at the post office, I understand how this can happen during transport, but I would recommend that Northline Express consider packaging the pipes with bubble wrap or some other protective material to prevent this from occurring. Thankfully, the dents are only noticeable up close and as the pipes are inside the wall, they won't be visible anyway. We did have to adjust the chimney pipe on the roof due to one section having one large dent instead of several smaller ones, but this was manageable.

Despite the shipping hiccup, I would still highly recommend Northline Express. My experience with Josh was fantastic, and I'm confident that the company will take onboard my feedback and continue to improve their customer service. The quality of their products is also excellent, so if you're in the market for chimney supplies, be sure to check them out!

When the temperatures dropped this winter, I placed an order for a necessary part for my pellet stove from NorthlineExpress.com on December 28th. However, upon checking the online reviews for the company that same day, I became concerned about my purchase choice. Attempting to cancel the order, I was informed that it had already shipped. Now, 14 days later on January 11th, the part has yet to arrive at my door, leaving me to wonder if I made a mistake in choosing to do business with NorthlineExpress.

It's frustrating to wait so long for a critical component, especially when it seems like it could have walked the distance from Nevada to my home in Arizona in that time. I'm left questioning when it will finally arrive and if it will even fit my stove. My experience with this company has left me feeling like I encountered an organization that lacks integrity, and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The most concerning aspect of my experience is that the company seemed to be either blatantly lying about the shipment or genuinely unaware of what was happening with my order. The part may never have even shipped from their facility on the supposed ship date, which is understandably frustrating after all this waiting.

In conclusion, the delay and lack of information surrounding my order from NorthlineExpress has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Despite my initial impressions of this company, I feel I can't trust them, and I would encourage others to be cautious when considering doing business with them.

NorthlineExpress NorthlineExpress.com: Quality Fireplace Accessories with Fast Shipping

When it comes to finding quality fireplace accessories at reasonable prices, NorthlineExpress.com is an excellent choice. Recently, I found myself in need of a Pilgrim Spark Guard that was 50" by 33". As someone who has shopped around for fireplace accessories before, I can assure you that such specific dimensions can be hard to come by. Fortunately, NorthlineExpress.com had exactly what I was looking for, and I was impressed by how quickly they delivered it.

While the product itself was exactly what I needed and arrived in perfect condition, I did notice one area where NorthlineExpress.com could make some improvements. Specifically, I think they could do a better job with their packing materials. The Spark Guard I ordered was fairly large and heavy, which can make it difficult to ship safely. While my order did arrive without any damage, I felt that the box could have used more reinforcement in the corners to help keep it in its rectangular shape. Additionally, the shredded cardboard used as packing material ended up making quite a mess.

Despite these minor issues, however, I am very happy with my purchase from NorthlineExpress.com. The Pilgrim Spark Guard is an excellent product that meets all of my needs, and I appreciated the fast shipping and reasonable price. If you're in the market for quality fireplace accessories, I would definitely recommend giving NorthlineExpress.com a try.

NorthlineExpress Unsatisfactory Experience with NorthlineExpress Chimneys and Stove Pipe

I recently acquired 4 chimneys from NorthlineExpress and unfortunately, each one was slightly flattened, making it difficult to assemble them without injuring my fingers due to the amount of force needed. Regrettably, it was too late for me to return them during installation. Moreover, I received one 4'v stove pipe that was in poor condition and had severe damage to both ends. After returning it, I had to wait a month to get a replacement only to find that the second pipe was also bent in the middle and had damaged ends. I elected to send it back again, and it stated that it had been delivered to them two weeks ago, however, there has been no further correspondence from them. I will say that I wouldn't want to touch this company with a 10-foot pole ever again, and I'm concerned that if the pipe does arrive, I'll just encounter the same issues again. It's quite possible that NorthlineExpress is taking its sweet time since it's the second product that I've returned. So, until I receive a resolution, I'll be sharing my views and experiences in a variety of reviews. I've included a snapshot of the first item I received in the first picture, with the second and third pictures displaying the second pipe that was sent.

NorthlineExpress NorthlineExpress Review: Unique Products, Frustrating Ordering Process

The ordering process on NorthlineExpress (northlineexpress.com) left much to be desired. As someone who frequently uses their address book to fill in delivery information, I was disappointed to find that this was not an option on their website. The system seemed to be backwards and required the postal code to be entered before the rest of the address. This unusual sequence caused me a fair amount of frustration and almost led me to abandon my order.

Despite these difficulties, I decided to proceed because NorthlineExpress has unique products that I could not find elsewhere. However, I did notice that their prices were quite high compared to other retailers. While the quality of their products may justify the added expense, the ordering process left a sour taste in my mouth.

I hesitate to give NorthlineExpress a one-star review because I believe that they have good products and are catering to a unique niche. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about their ordering system. If they could streamline this process and make it more user-friendly, I would be much more likely to return as a customer. As it stands, I'm not sure I'd be willing to go through that frustrating experience again.

I have mixed feelings about my recent experience with NorthlineExpress. While I appreciate aspects of their site, their online order processing let me down significantly. Unfortunately, after two unsuccessful attempts, I found myself directed back to the beginning of the process each time I entered my card information. I also received no error messages indicating what the issue might be. I was forced to reach out to their chat support for further assistance. Although their representative, Daniel, was helpful, the chat response was slow, and it took some time to diagnose the issue. Ultimately, Daniel suggested that there may be a problem with the site itself - not exactly reassuring since I was attempting to complete a $1,000 order.

On a positive note, I found the site well managed and easy to navigate. I was able to put together my package with ease, and the site's intuitive design certainly contributed to that. However, I was puzzled to see that their kits were priced the same as the items when ordered individually. This left me questioning the point of purchasing the kit, other than perhaps simplicity in the ordering process.

All in all, while NorthlineExpress has both pros and cons, their online order processing issue leaves me hesitant to give them my full recommendation. I'd suggest they work on ensuring a smooth checkout experience to keep potential customers from bouncing.

NorthlineExpress Disappointed with NorthlineExpress: Ordered Spark Guard, Paid for it, but Received a Refund Without Notification

I ordered the Pilgrim Burnished Bronze Spark Guard from NorthlineExpress and paid for it. They sent me a confirmation of payment and notified me that the item would arrive at my home on Friday, March 24. I received tracking information that showed the item was in transit and the city it was currently sitting in. I waited patiently to receive my new spark guard, but to my surprise, I received a notification from Paypal that there was a refund to my account for this item. I did not receive any notification from NorthlineExpress about the refund, which was odd. I was disappointed with this encounter and will not be doing business with them again.

NorthlineExpress Disappointing Customer Service Experience with NorthlineExpress Chimney System

So, I had this chimney system that I wanted to install, but I couldn't do it until my roof was done. I reached out to NorthlineExpress to help me out with the design and they did a pretty good job. However, after the installation was done, I realized that I had some expensive parts that I didn't need. Unfortunately, it had been more than 30 days since the sale and they wouldn't take them back for credit. That was a bummer.

I needed one more part and they were willing to sell it to me, but only online. That was kind of weird, but I went ahead and bought it anyway. The thing that really got me was that I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. That's just poor customer service, you know? I was really disappointed.

Overall, I don't think I'll be recommending NorthlineExpress to anyone or using their service again. It's just not worth the hassle.

NorthlineExpress NorthlineExpress Review: Great Company, Disappointing Manifold

NorthlineExpress is a great company to work with. They really surprised me with how quickly they got my order shipped out. I was expecting it to take a while, but they really under-promised and over-delivered on that front. It was a great start to my experience with them.

The heat exchanger that I ordered from them works really well. I'm very happy with it. However, I do have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the manifold that came with it. It just seemed a bit hinky and cheap to me. I mean, come on, silicone? That's a bit of a do-it-yourself solution, isn't it?

I really think that for the price I paid, they could have done better. I would have loved to see a 1.75"-to-2" exhaust manifold that was streamlined to reduce turbulence. And it would have been great if they could have shipped butt joint clamps to assemble it with. That would have made things a lot easier for me.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't stand that sheet metal thing that came stock. So, I ended up having my welding shop fab a new piece for me. It was a bit of a hassle, but it was worth it to get something that I was happy with.

Overall, I would say that NorthlineExpress is a good company to work with. They have some great products, and their customer service is top-notch. But, I do think that they could do a bit better when it comes to some of their products.

NorthlineExpress Disappointing Experience with NorthlineExpress: Chimney Flashing and Support Box Issues

I recently made a purchase from NorthlineExpress for my wood stove chimney installation. I ordered around 10 pieces, including flashing and a chimney support box. However, I was disappointed with the condition of the flashing when it arrived. It was folded in half and crammed into a box that was too small, causing the sheet metal to become bent and warped. Additionally, I encountered some issues with the chimney support box. The intersection of the square base and round tube connector was not square, and the box was riveted improperly. NorthlineExpress Mixed Bag of Experiences: My Review of NorthlineExpress

I recently had the opportunity to order from NorthlineExpress and while the overall experience was satisfactory, I must admit that there were a few issues that I encountered.

For starters, I have ordered the Stove Bright product on two separate occasions and while I was pleased with the quality of the product, the color representation online was not necessarily true to life. The first time around, I opted for the Metallic Brown color but upon its arrival, I realized that it was much lighter than I had anticipated. In fact, when I applied it in daylight, it looked more like a light grey. As a result, I was hesitant to order it again and this time around, I decided to play it safe and order the charcoal color instead.

In addition, I found that getting in touch with the sales department was more difficult than it should have been. During my attempts to call, each time I failed to get through to a sales representative. While I understand that sometimes things happen, it was frustrating to not be able to get in touch with someone when I needed to.

All that being said, there were a number of positive aspects to ordering from NorthlineExpress. The website was easy to navigate and the product selection was quite extensive. The checkout process was also straightforward and I appreciated the fact that their shipping options were clearly laid out from the outset. Furthermore, the products arrived on time and were well-packaged.

Overall, while there were a few issues that I encountered, my experience with NorthlineExpress was generally satisfactory. I would definitely consider ordering from them again, although I would suggest that the company work on addressing some of the communication and color representation concerns that I encountered.

My recent interaction with NorthlineExpress was not the most pleasant experience. Initially, I attempted to use their chat service to gather information about their products. I recently tried to place an order on NorthlineExpress.com and unfortunately, my experience was not the best. While attempting to input my address, I ran into some technical issues and was unable to successfully do so. I decided to give it another shot the following morning and was connected with a representative who was unable to assist me directly in fixing the issue. Eventually, it was suggested that I remove the use of a PO Box from my address which seemed to solve the problem. However, the ordering process continued to remain frustrating. The system was not user-friendly and I found myself struggling to navigate through the process.

To make matters worse, the platform required card information before offering me the option to use PayPal as a payment method. Eventually, I was able to proceed to the checkout screen but even then, I had trouble submitting my order. It was a frustrating experience that left me wondering why they don't use a more efficient ordering system. The price for the product I had my eye on was reasonable, and I was happy to make the purchase on their website.

One of the enticing things about shopping on NorthlineExpress was the offer of a discount coupon of $5 off for purchases over $50. As such, I was happy to provide my email address to receive this coupon code. However, I was disappointed when I tried to use the code for my purchase, which was almost double the minimum spend requirement. The website reported that the code was invalid, even though I had double-checked to make sure I had entered the correct information.

I recently placed an order with NorthlineExpress, and I have to say that the experience was a bit frustrating. As a homeowner, I recently made a purchase from NorthlineExpress, an online retailer specializing in wood stoves, fireplaces, and accessories. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong part, which ended up costing around $450 on my MasterCard. While this was entirely my error, I was hopeful that it could be resolved quickly and smoothly.

I shipped the item back on December 9th, and it was received at Northline's return facility on December 23rd. NorthlineExpress Mixed experience with NorthlineExpress: Great Prices, Disappointing Support

When I first contacted NorthlineExpress back in May of 2016, I received fantastic phone support. However, during my most recent experience with them, I did not receive the same level of service. Although the representative I spoke with was polite and friendly, they were unable to provide me with the information I needed regarding how to connect my stove with an 83-inch ceiling and a 43-inch offset. This was concerning to me, as I expected someone answering the support phone at NorthlineExpress to be knowledgeable enough to help me with this basic question.

After spending over an hour searching online for the information I needed, I eventually managed to figure it out for myself. However, I did not receive a return call from NorthlineExpress, and I did not want to wait for two days to find out if I would hear back from them at all. All in all, I was disappointed in the level of support I received during this particular interaction.

However, despite the frustrating experience I had with their customer service, I must say that NorthlineExpress does offer excellent pricing. In fact, I wasn't able to find a better deal anywhere else. So while I may have experienced some difficulty with their support, I still highly recommend NorthlineExpress for their unbeatable prices. If you're willing to put in a little extra research and don't mind the risk of less-than-stellar support, then NorthlineExpress is definitely worth considering.
