Argumentative, lazy, rude liars.

Plimmerton delivery driver woman is constantly leaving "We missed you" cards in our mailbox. She has never once bothered to come to the door, saying she's knocked when she hasn't once. After calling customer service we were told that she can't come up the stairs, which is odd because other post companies do easily and often, but okay... Can we please get our packages left in a different place? We were told "yes! If you follow these instructions the driver will have to follow them". So we waited for a pin in the mail which we were assured would then allow us give directions to where we wanted our packages. They even confirmed that this information was correct-That the driver had to follow the delivery instructions. With the delivery driver in mind, we had easy instructions where she could leave packages tucked by our bins without having to go up the stairs (and out of street view and safe) & of course, another "We missed you" card in the letterbox. We call customer service again and apparently even that is "too far for her"

Unbelievably frustrating because we've been having to go all the way to the dairy to collect feather light items that could've fit in the mailbox! (our delivered to the door like every other post company)

This time ringing customer service, I read my new instructions word for word to them so that I could make sure there would be no excuses and that we would get our packages. We made all packages Authority To Leave and to leave just next to our letter box since she will not come to the door. Next to our letterbox is a safe place we can see from our window, and 90% of the time someone is always here to go down and get it immediately when the delivery status says "delivered". After having 3 different NZ Post representatives confirm that a package will be left there according to the instructions, we thought surely this time we'll finally have our parcel...NOPE. It's as if she is trying to be difficult, when we have done everything we can so that it's as easy as possible for her to deliver a package!

For about 2 months now we've had to pick up packages from the dairy which was very annoying but do-able since we were able to drive there. Not that it should matter, but my partner recently had a seizure meaning he is unable to drive for a period of time. This is why we wanted to be 100% sure that there was no way the driver would leave another card as he could no longer pick it up. We even put "PLEASE leave by mailbox as we can't get to pickup point". She ignored this too, leaving another card. We are shocked and annoyed. We're not even asking her to come to the door because that's too hard. Now even after being asked multiple times to leave our packages, that we can no longer pick it up (which shouldn't even matter because she's meant to DELIVER IT) she drops it off at the dairy instead.

My partner called customer service where he was met with a power tripping, condescending woman named "MARGIE" who was instantly argumentative and patronizing towards him. Backpedaling and shifting reasons as to why we couldn't get our package AGAIN. Insinuating we didn't want people coming to our door "What's wrong with your door?" when we were only accommodating the so-called "delivery" driver? LOL. She even had the nerve to say "Well you have a car!" in the most bigoted, ugly voice when we explained for the 100th time that we had followed all instructions and were assured our package would be left where instructed. it doesn't matter that we have a car?! So unbelievably rude. The whole point of getting things delivered is because we're unable to get there? For serious medical reasons? What if I was an old lady and relied on door deliveries? Would i just get told "oh its too far you have a car" ?

"Margie" is a detestable, mule-headed, unpleasant woman who immediately shut down every reasonable thing we said because she couldn't come up with any more excuses. We were told "YOUR'E NEW. Eveyone knows that no one delivers to your address" Bull. Why did no one tell us that the last 4 times we've been trying to sort this out? And if it is true, why are you letting us know in such a sour, nasty way if we're new? Sounds like you are just lazy, incompetent and unwilling to accept any wrong-doing.

Why is NZ Post giving delivery drivers routes that they are unfit to do? The delivery driver for Plimmerton is obviously incapable of delivering a package so why is she still doing it at the customer's expense? Both Aramex and PostHaste come right to our door with heavy boxes and this driver is incapable of walking up a short path, and refuses to leave our packages, saying our address is undeliverable! We arent rural or inaccessible. this address isnt undeliverable by definition on the NZPost Website! Perhaps you are just unfit for the job!

Desired outcome: They start doing their job
