Rip off
I purchased an airline ticket from Lagos Nigeria to New York city. I arrived at the airport only to be told the Royal Air office closes at 11pm. My flight was for 5:35am . I was advised to wait for the office to open. I sat outside of the airport over 3 hours to be told that I missed the flight and I needed to purchase another ticket. I spoke and chatted with a representative over 4 hours only to be told the airline said I was a no show and now I need to pay an additional $1100.. I tried calling customer service several times and was hung up on. This company is a rip off!
Recommendation: Don't use this company!!
a bunch of crooks
I purchased five Turkish airlines tickets in February. I accidentally entered my name instead of my son’s name. promptly I’ve contacted oojo.com and representative Kumkum advised me to buy another ticket with the correct name. I did that and the previous (one out of five) wrong reservation was cancelled. I then requested a refund from oojo, they said they no longer have my money and I need to request it from Turkish airlines. I got an email with an approved code for a refund from TA but because oojo.com bought it with its own credit card, TA needs oojo’s permission to wire the refund directly to my bank account. All I need from oojo is to write an email to Turkish Airlines stating that they agree to that. It’s been October and no result. The representatives and like Mahaelani keep saying that someone from their accounting department will get back to me. I’m feed up and filing a court complaint next week
Recommendation: AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Don't trust Oojo.com
I bought Three airline tickets April-2023 through Oojo. They over charged me $717. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the extra charge of $717, but unfortunately, I couldn't get the money back as Oojo said I agreed to the purchase, which I never did. I am posting about this company on different websites and social media platforms, in order to warn people and expose their deceptive business practices. They even asked me to pay tips to their employees after I finalized my ticket purchase.
Recommendation: Don't buy through Oojo.com
Deceitful practices
Booked with OOJO 4 months in advance of my trip, since then they’ve made over a dozen changes now to both legs of the journey.
After contacting OOJO support ~2 months ago about a 14 hour layover (was 2 hours when I bought the ticket), they claimed they would refund that part of the ticket, but that I would need to use my departing flight(s) first before it could be processed for a partial refund.
Well as it turns out that was a lie, and 3 days before my trip I was informed that I either had to accept the new schedule— and as such would not qualify for a refund— or I would have to refund my entire ticket and be left to book my trip through other means days before I was set to leave.
Pretty clear to me now that they were giving me the runaround so that I would have no other choice but to accept their new schedule or be SOL when the time came for the trip.
Very shady people. Literally go anywhere else.
Oojo.com Review: A Nightmare Experience with a Scam Flight Booking Website
Oojo.com is a website that claims to offer flight booking services. However, my experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. I provided my card details and went through the booking process, only to find out weeks later that I hadn't actually booked a flight at all. Instead, they treated my "booking" as a statement of interest and bombarded me with offers for similar flights, which were always more expensive.
When I contacted them to inquire about the issue, they gave me some flimsy excuse about a glitch in the system. But this wasn't an isolated incident - it happened to hundreds of customers. It's unacceptable to take someone's money and then not deliver on the promised service. It's even worse to use their personal information to spam them with offers for more expensive flights.
If they were upfront about their practices, maybe some people would be okay with it. But they're not. They pretend like everything is fine and dandy, only to leave you high and dry when you realize you haven't actually booked a flight. It's a scam, plain and simple.
I'm not the only one who's had this experience. Many other customers have reported the same issue. Oojo.com needs to be held accountable for their actions. They can't just ask people to take down negative reviews and leave positive ones instead. They need to make a public statement acknowledging their scams and commit to becoming a legitimate airline booking company.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Oojo.com to anyone. They're scammers who profit off of creating confusion and obfuscation in the booking process. Don't waste your time or money on them.
Terrible Experience with Oojo: Stay Away from this Unreliable Travel Agency
I recently had a terrible experience with Oojo (oojo.com) and I feel like I need to share it with others. I had booked four tickets with them for a flight from Atlanta to Lahore on June 15th. I paid $4000, which included insurance. However, when we got to the airport, we were told by the Qatar Airlines counter that our tickets had been cancelled. They could only find one ticket and three tickets were not even in their system. We immediately called Oojo and they told us that the airlines had cancelled our tickets. I was shocked and disappointed that they did not inform us earlier. It was their duty to inform us about the cancellation.
We then asked for a refund, but every time we called, they would say that they would send us the details of the refund, but nothing happened. The next day, when we called again, they said that someone would be in touch with us shortly, but there was a long silence. They had no supervisor, no manager, and no system at all. One of their team members even told me that they could refund our tickets after deducting $100 per ticket for taxes. However, when I called Qatar Airways regarding their refund policy, they told me that they were not cutting any taxes and that they were fully refunding people with cancelled flights. They even told me that Oojo agents were trying to make money out of our cancelled flight.
To make matters worse, Oojo charged us almost $500 under the amount of airfare difference when we changed our dates due to COVID-19. However, Qatar Airlines clearly stated that they did not charge us any airfare as there was no travel fare difference. This has put us in great trouble as our house lease ended before we could travel. We are currently living in a hotel and have nowhere to go. We even missed our family wedding and are just wandering in hotels here. We are US citizens and have complained to the DOT and BBB department regarding this matter. We are just waiting for them or Oojo to resolve this complaint or make it even worse.
In conclusion, I would advise everyone to stay away from Oojo. They are just robbing people and selling their deals from India. They have no system in place and their customer service is terrible. They do not inform their customers about flight cancellations and try to make money out of their customers' misfortunes. Please avoid them at all costs.
Stay Away from OOJO: A Nightmare Experience with Flight Ticket Purchase
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from OOJO. I wish I could give them zero stars because they do not deserve even one star. I made the mistake of using them to purchase my flight tickets and it turned out to be a nightmare. All those five-star reviews are fake, and people should stay away from them.
I booked a flight with Turkish Airlines, but the flight was canceled due to mechanical issues. The airline changed the flight date to the next day, and I was told to contact OOJO to change my tickets. I called OOJO customer service at 9 pm while still at the airport, and I was told that my situation was an emergency and that it had been escalated. They assured me that I would receive a phone call within minutes with updated tickets. However, nothing happened for an entire hour, and everyone else was changing their tickets successfully.
I called Turkish Airlines to plead with them to change my tickets, but they told me that because I used OOJO as my agency, they should be the one to change my tickets. I called back to OOJO, and they told me that someone was handling it, and I should receive a phone call within a few minutes. However, nothing happened until midnight. I called Turkish Airlines again, and they informed me that this agency made it impossible for them to change my ticket as they made it private.
It was now 2 am, and I called OOJO about the new ticket, and they told me to talk to the Turkish airline rep as they were unable to help me. They even had the audacity to tell me to pay the difference for the ticket change. This was a joke! They were not able to change my tickets, and by the time Turkish Airlines decided to take matters into their hands, it was too late. The flight to the next one was fully booked, and I still couldn't fly.
I regret using OOJO, and I would advise anyone to avoid them. I learned the hard way that it's best to purchase tickets directly from the airline and save yourself the headache. I was told by other people who successfully changed their tickets to never use third parties like these ever again. OOJO is a joke and not an agency!
Misleading Error Messages and Unhelpful Customer Service: My Experience with Oojo.com
I recently had an experience with Oojo.com when I tried to book a roundtrip ticket from DC to IST Turkey. Unfortunately, during the transaction, the website indicated that my reservation did not go through. However, to my surprise, my credit card was charged more than $1266 and a ticket was issued in my name with the wrong travel dates, Aug 7 to Aug 17 instead of Sept 6 to Sept 16th.
After a week, I was charged for a higher ticket because it was during the high summer travel period. When I tried to contact customer service, I was informed that the office was located in the Philippines. I asked for a US-based customer service representative, but they claimed to be a CA office. When I asked to speak to a manager, they said there were no managers available that day. They promised that someone would call me back, but it was someone from the Philippines who called in the evening to inform me that the ticket was not refundable. To change to a lower-priced ticket, I had to pay an extra $170 fee.
When I asked if they took any responsibility for the misleading error message, they told me that it was my responsibility as a passenger to check regardless of the messages generated from the OOJO site. They said that I should not believe what the OOJO travel site indicated. When I asked to speak to someone higher than the first-level customer service representative, she informed me that her leadership in the Philippines did not work the evening shift.
It was frustrating to learn that the site could generate an error message, issue a ticket when it said the reservation could not be completed, and generate a ticket at different travel times and dates. The only recourse for customer support was to tell me that I should verify that the site would not generate a ticket. I did check my email after the error message, but I did not receive an email. I did not spend the rest of the day checking.
The company could have won my trust if they had waived the change fees and just booked the higher cost ticket and changed it to my desired travel dates and time, which only cost $1093 if I purchased directly from the airline. This is a perfect scam, generating an error message to make the customer think they don't have 24 hours to check, then booking them on higher cost travel dates and times. Then, they wait for the customer to call if they don't discover what happened. When they call, they get even more money, $170, additional OOJO revenue for ticket change and processing fees.
Overall, my experience with Oojo.com was disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this site to anyone looking to book travel. The customer service was unhelpful, and the site generated misleading error messages that cost me more money in the end.
Avoid Oojo at all costs: Unfair fees, rip-off insurance, and terrible customer service
If you're thinking about booking a flight through Oojo, think again. This third-party online site is the worst place to book a ticket from. Here's why you should avoid them at all costs:
Firstly, they charge a $100 fine for international and a $250 fine for domestic cancellations, even if you cancel within 24 hours of booking. This is against the law, as every other airline offers 100% free cancellation within 24 hours of booking.
Secondly, they charged me $110 for travel insurance and do not allow you to reschedule your trip even once. If you want to reschedule again, they make you pay $110 again for another travel insurance. This is particularly frustrating during these unprecedented times, as people may have to reschedule their flight. Even if the airlines reschedule your flight, OOJO will charge you a $250 re-booking fee in addition to any fare difference.
Thirdly, their travel insurance is a rip-off. It's not listed on their website because it doesn't cover anything additional to what the airlines already cover. Their representative is not aware of what it covers and what it doesn't cover, making it a waste of money.
Fourthly, while you may save $30-$50 in the beginning, you'll end up paying up to $250 to cancel it, even if you want to cancel it after a minute of buying. This is an unfair business practice, and they have every clause out there to rip you off of the savings you had buying a ticket from their site.
Fifthly, it's a nightmare trying to get a hold of customer service. I wasted an entire day trying to get a hold of them, and the one I was able to speak to was based off of India and wasn't able to assist. They mentioned that they're not allowed to connect you to their supervisors, so you cannot talk to a supervisor. The entire business model is a fraud.
Sixthly, if possible, I would give them negative ratings. Use Priceline or other third-party booking sites, but never OOJO.
Lastly, the customer service representative is always from the Philippines fish market (as I always heard background noise from a fish market), mostly a lady with a thick accent. She threatens not to help and curses a lot.
I warned you guys! If you do end up booking with them, the only thing that will help you is filing a dispute/chargeback with your credit card company. They will help you get your money back.
Avoid OOJO at All Costs: Terrible Customer Service and Scam Tactics
I recently had an experience with OOJO, and I must say it was one of the worst travel services I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is terrible, and to make matters worse, they are not even located in the United States. At first glance, the ticket prices on OOJO seem reasonable, but you have to be aware of the amount of transit you will have to face when you book a cheap ticket. If you are traveling alone, this may not be a problem, but if you are booking tickets for family members, it can be a nightmare.
I booked tickets for my mom and sister, thinking that the price was reasonable with the transit. As soon as I booked the tickets, I received a call from one of the customer service representatives, who told me about travel care. Travel care is a service that protects your flight in case anything happens. Normally, I don't take travel care, but because two females were traveling, I decided to take it. The customer service representative told me that with travel care, I could change the flight date without any additional charge, in case of emergency, flight cancellation, or flight delay. I took the travel care, so I wouldn't have to worry about anything in case any of these situations happened.
Unfortunately, five days before my mom and sister's return flight, my father passed away. I called OOJO customer service to let them know about my situation and that I needed to change the flight date. They put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then told me that I had to pay money to change the flight date. I reminded them that I had travel care, and they told me that the travel care was only for OOJO, not for the airline. This shocked me because the person who called me for the travel care told me that if I needed to change the flight, they would do it for free.
The customer service representatives were so rude that every time I called and told them I had travel care, they hung up on me. They already got my money and didn't care about their customers anymore. The situation I went through with the passing of my father, and the fact that they still didn't help me really hurt me. I don't usually write reviews, but OOJO is the worst service ever. I would never tell anyone to book a ticket with OOJO. They are a scam, and once they get your money, they could care less about what you go through or your situation. I ask everyone who is reading this review to avoid OOJO at all costs if you don't want to get scammed. Please, please, please!
Terrible Experience with Oojo Travel Agency: Don't Make the Same Mistake I Did
I gotta say, Oojo is the worst travel agency I've ever dealt with. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I mean, seriously, don't book through any travel agency. They don't care about you, all they want is your money. My wife and I were planning to visit her family in Nairobi, Kenya, and we live in Arizona, so it's a long flight. I called Oojo to book our flights, but I was a bit skeptical because of all the bad reviews I've read online. The agent assured me that everything would be fine, but boy was I wrong.
We booked three round-trip flights for January 16, 2023, at 8:00 pm. When we got to the airport, we were told that our 2-year-old daughter needed a visa to enter Kenya. We were told that we could get the visa at the airport, but the airline wouldn't let us board without it. We tried calling Oojo and the airline customer service, but no one was willing to help us. We even talked to the employees of Saudia Airline, but they said there was nothing they could do.
We were stuck at LAX with no help from anyone. We had to contact the Kenya embassy to sort out the visa situation for our daughter. We called Oojo again, but they were so unprofessional and rude. They put us on hold for 54 minutes and never got back to us. We were so frustrated that we decided to rent a car and drive back home to Arizona. Of course, Oojo had already processed our payment.
I regret booking with Oojo. They are a scamming travel agency that doesn't care about their customers. I hope this review helps someone avoid the same mistake I made. Don't book with Oojo, book directly from the airline instead. Trust me, it's not worth the headache.
Terrible Experience with Oojo Travel Agency: Unprofessional, Disorganized, and Unreliable
This travel agency called Oojo is not good at all. They are very unprofessional, disorganized and they don't care about their customers' time. I had a very disappointing trip with them. I booked a flight from Detroit to Cairo on September 1st and the return was supposed to be on September 25th. I also bought Oojo care, which is a Travel Care Service that cost me 79.45 USD. They said that processing fees would be waived for all passengers unable to take their trip for any reason. The passenger must cancel the reservation before the scheduled departure. Airline penalties and fare difference might apply. The fees are waived for the first change of the reservation only. In addition, Exchange fees*** will be waived for all travelers unable to take their trip for any reason. The traveler(s) must cancel the reservation before the scheduled departure.
However, one day before my flight to Cairo, the flight got canceled by United airlines because of the weather conditions. I called Oojo customer service desk who confirmed with me that my ticket was not canceled and I should ignore United airlines email. It took me several hours waiting over the phone trying to get a hold with one of their travel agents (by the way they assign only one travel agent to handle your reservation, this person works a specific time and apparently not from the United States). Finally, this person was convinced that my flight got canceled by United airlines and he spent about a day and a half to find me an alternative flight which cost me to miss the domestic flight I booked from Cairo to Hurgada.
On the flying day, the flight from New Jersey to Frankfurt (the second stop) got delayed so I missed my flight from Frankfurt to Cairo and I had to wait in the airport for 7 hours until I got another flight. During this time, Oojo stopped communicating with me and they told me to directly contact United airlines.
Now I want to reschedule my flight back to Detroit, but I tried to contact Oojo customer service and as usual, there was no answer. I even asked a couple of my friends in the US to try to call, but they just put them on hold and then they directed them to voicemail. Finally, they contacted one of my friends and told him that I need to pay an extra 250$ processing fee in order for them to reschedule my flight back to Detroit. This is even though, according to their travel care that I bought, processing fees are waived if the flight was canceled 24 hours before the departure with 100% refundable fees.
This was my first and definitely will be my last experience with this fraudulent company! I would not recommend anyone to use their services.
Terrible Experience with Oojo: Paid $9000 for Flight, No Reservation, No Customer Service
I gotta tell ya, folks, I had a real bad experience with Oojo. I mean, I paid over $9000 for a flight and I still don't have a reservation. Can you believe it? And the worst part is, I can't even get in touch with these guys. I tried calling and emailing, but nobody answers. It's like they only care about selling you the ticket and then they don't wanna deal with you anymore.
I had to deal with an agent who didn't seem to care about my concerns. They kept saying they would escalate the issue to a supervisor, but nobody ever got back to me. And when I finally did get in touch with someone, they told me I had to apply for a refund for my first ticket and then buy another one. I had to pay even more money and even tipped the agent, but my ticket got canceled again.
It's been over three weeks now and I still don't have a reservation. I keep getting the runaround from these guys. They keep telling me to wait 24-72 hours, but nothing ever happens. I even tried calling the airlines, but they just told me to go back to Oojo.
And don't even get me started on their customer service. It's like they don't care about their customers at all. They only want to sell you the ticket and then forget about you. I wouldn't recommend this agency to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and buy a ticket directly from the airlines or a trusted website. Trust me, it'll be much easier and you'll have better customer service.
Unreliable and Unhelpful: My Terrible Experience with Oojo Travel Agency
So, I had a really bad experience with Oojo. Let me tell you all about it. I was supposed to go to Medellin, Colombia with my friends, but our flight with Spirit Airlines got messed up. We had to find another flight to get there the same day, and we found one on Travelocity for $1800 round trip for the four of us. We thought it was a great deal, and we trusted Oojo since we were going through Travelocity. But boy, were we wrong.
We bought the tickets at 9am, and we were supposed to get our e-tickets by email within an hour. But we didn't get anything. I called Oojo at 10am, but they couldn't tell me anything about the status of our tickets. They said they would put in a request for customer service to contact me, but they never did. I called them three times, and my boyfriend called them three times, but we never got through to anyone. We were so frustrated.
We waited around for hours, hoping to get our tickets, but we never did. We ended up missing our chance to fly out that day. We were so disappointed. We booked another flight directly through AA for the next day.
I don't recommend using Oojo. They were so unhelpful and unreliable. They couldn't even tell us that they couldn't fulfill our ticket request. We wasted so much time waiting for them. It's not worth the risk to save some money. And don't trust the positive reviews on their website. Most of them have spelling and grammar mistakes, which makes me wonder if they're even real.
I hope this review helps other people avoid the same mistake we made. And to make matters worse, they finally called my boyfriend back at 6:30pm, even though I left my number twice. They probably saw this review.
Fraudulent company
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK FLIGHTS WITH THIS COMPANY. I booked round trip flights but later I had to change the date due to family emergency. They were hiding to disclose how much was charged for my flight in and out. They said they will not provide that information. They already paid 1,020 for round trip and they wanted me to pay another 1,000. I went to their website, their one-way ticket price was $600. So why are you trying to scam me? I already paid you for round trip and we only use one way ticket so far. SCAM SCAM SCAM! STAY AWAY! CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE ARE LIARS TOO! Can someone from this airlines get my return flight money back or change my return flights from May 08th to any date in July? That would not be nice to scam your customer and take their money! I NEED HELP FROM SOMEONE FROM AIRLINES!
Later, the airline company wrote me that they have a case with a complaint assigned a special id: 239067. And asked me to email them so I did email and called multiple times, I was told that someone will call me back but no one called me back!
CAN SOMEONE FROM AIRLINES LOOK INTO MY CASE? My mom's flight is on May 8th, but she wont be able to fly back. So I need to change her flight dates to July. I did explain to the customer service that my dad went through amputation surgery so my mom needs to extend her time and stay longer. But they did not seem to care!
CAN SOMEONE FIX THIS PROBLEM BEFORE MAY 8TH?
Fraudulent company
Stay away from from this company once you buy a ticket from they make your life miserable.
I tried to change the date on my ticket they wanted to charge almost $1000 and my ticket was $950
I changed my mind I just wanted to go back on the date I was supposed to. They canceled my return date and asked either I will buy the changed date or I have to buy another return ticket because I can no longer travel on the date they canceled it. Customer service all from India covering each other they will not let talk to a supervisor. It was terrible. I had to pay extra to comeback in a later date and 10 hours layover as soon as I get to the state I am taking them to court
Recommendation: Stay away from Oojo
Ive purchased tickets through oojo multiple times without issues; however, this time is horrible
Ive purchased tickets through oojo multiple times without issues; however, this time is horrible. After selecting my flight and submitting payment info I received my confirmation number. Oojo took a new (to my experience) approach this time and never attempted to *** my account in any way, and then canceled my flight 2 days later. They never told me they canceled my flight, but left voice messages asking for a call back to discuss my reservation (sounded like some sales promotion bs). Upon calling to confirm my flight a representative said he wasnt in the right department and someone else would call. No one called. I called again the following day, the day of my flight, again, a representative told me someone else would call me back. No one did. I called back and a representative (sounded like the same person) said the system shows no record of ANYONE talking to me at any time over this 2 day period. She told me my flight was canceled and irredeemable. She said she would look up a new flight I could book (obviously, it would be more expensive) and call me back in *** minutes. She never called me back. And when I called her back, more than once, and left a message, still no response. Utter and complete failure on their part to make the ATTEMPT to purchase my ticket, nor *** me for it.

Quite quick and efficient to book. Praying everything will work out for the best.
Very fast booking. Got the lowest price. Will use it again in the future.
I found everything as agreed The best price I found on the internet
Lowest price! Much appreciated when ticket prices are skyrocketing and no stable job market.
*SCAM*Did not send e-tickets after payment was made and when calling they keep telling me to wait the 24 hours, even though the payment was made
SCAM*Did not send e-tickets after payment was made and when calling they keep telling me to wait the 24 hours, even though the payment was made and card was charged. They sent me a confirmation number from their website but will not send the e-ticket till 24 hours from booking which is the time that you have to cancel your reservation and then will get a hard time disputing it with your credit card because it's past the 24 hours.+ VERY BAD customer service:- They are based outside the US.- They will put you on mute and stop answering, - They will transfer to another department - They will not transfer to a supervisor.- They dont respond to emails and on website states might take 15 days to respond to emails.- Eventually, they will stop answering your calls.+ False advertising and they will try to steal from you any way they can:- Besides the fact that they will not purchase the ticket from the airline right away;- On the website, they are advertising free cancelation but when clicking on the details you will see a refund minus fees:From their website:"If you made your booking within the past 24 hours, you might still be eligible to cancel your booking for a refund minus *** charges. Click here for information about same-day cancellation."- These good reviews are probably all fake!

I booked my round trip recently and at the airport airline team was not able to print boarding pass due to Oojo booking mistake.I open a case for my refund and Oojo team is not not refunding my money which occurred due to their mistake . *** saying that your agent has made booking error whic we can not pay for.
The best service and the best price if any one a ticket please use this
Quick, *** for future I will use them as well
Got the best price, super easy booking process and a received a quick follow up call after booking.
Be very careful!
Be very careful! I bought an expensive ticket to *** for two months. I found out later that I could not take any bags. This information was not visible at all. If it were, I would not have bought it. Oojo's customer service did not help me at all. During the several calls, the employees would either lie that they would solve the problem or the person would not help at all. The last employee told me that they just sell the ticket, and that I have to buy the bags if I want any. It became very clear to me that, on their website, they sell a fare that should be much cheaper because it does not include bags for much more money, and they purposefully do not inform the customer about the bags. The customer then finds out that they do not have the right to take bags, so s/he must buy those bags from the airline. I am going to inform the travel company that Oojo is doing this. According to them, they are not obligated to add that information there. So, be very careful with this website! I have always bought tickets with Expedia, and they have been excellent. I deeply regret why I bought this ticket from Oojo. Oojo is not an honest company. This was my first time using it, and it became a nightmare. THEY ARE A BIG SCAM. My name is ***. If you feel that you have been scammed by this company, let's join forces and put it out of market, so that they do not keep scamming people any longer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
This is a lie! You have sent me the same message:
"Dear Customer,Thank you for contacting us.We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. It's our goal to deliver the highest quality of service to all of our customers, so we'd love to learn more about what prompted your feedback.Your complaint is assigned a special ID: *** Please email this ID at feedback@*** with your booking confirmation number, and we will get in touch with you Thank you in advance. "
But no-one replied to my email or called me back. YOU ARE SCAMMING AMERICAN CITIZENS!
I would give zero stars if I could. They give misleading advertising on the insurance policy, and then they say supervisors don't get on phone calls; they only assist agents, yet the agents can't provide assistance on all matters. They put you on hold for unbelievably long wait times. This is a HORRIBLE company. DO NOT book through them. They care only for making money, even at the expense of hardworking people.
Great customer service, second time booking with Oojo - love the flexible option and can confirm that we got a refund for previous flights.
Good customer service and follow up. Honored lower advertised fare when original booking not available and had to rebook on more expensive flight. Reached out to keep me informed and updated during rebooking process.
I am happy with *** It is quick and efficient.
We had a lot of unneeded anxiety with them
We had a lot of unneeded anxiety with them. We purchased plane tickets on what we thought was through Kayak only to find out after we purchased the tickets it was through Oojo. Usually after I book a ticket, I get to choose a seat. Not so here. Here they take your money and don't even give you a ticket. We called up and asked what gives. While polite, they explained they need a half hour to procure the tickets. Huh? You mean I just paid you for seats you don't even have? I read reviews where by the time they procure the tickets, the price went up and the purchaser was forced to pay extra money. Hence our anxiety when we heard a half hour wait. After a half hour, no email of tickets and we had to call back again. Again, polite, and they said they need a half hour more. We had never heard of Oojo, thought we were dealing with Kayak.com, and now wondered if Oojo is a scam company. I'm now feverishly scanning the internet to see if they're even a somewhat legit company. If people must call up twice, and eventually a third, just to get an online ticket, how can they stay in business? This business model is too labor intensive to be profitable and now I was really worried we lost over $1,000.00. After over an hour of anxiety we finally did get the tickets for the price we paid. However, Im used to buying a ticket, its immediately followed by seat/meal choice and then the airlines confirmation number. Id have reservations using Oojo again.

Scam and sexism airfare
I bought travel insurance of $59 per ticket and has to cancel due to stage 4 cancer of husband. I still had to pay a cancelation fee and processing taxes to the airline. The insurance was explained to me that it only covers the OOJO $200 penalty for cancelation of each ticket. It's a scam. I told them it sounded like fraud, since the insurance is just for their fees. They told me, "Do you want me to refund your $59 and give you a $200 penalty then." Worst customer service ever. The sexism was potent on how he spoke to me.

Read full review of Oojo.comcharge me twice and refuse fully refund
This company is a total scam. I booked a flight from Seoul to Los Angeles on September 12, and it cost me almost $3,000 USD. On that day I only received a confirmation email, and my bank text message only informed me of their charge once. Also, I confirmed the price and time with them on the phone several times that day to verify my credit card. However, by the time I received my bank statement at the end of the month, I realized they had charged me twice and immediately contacted them. They said that they had accidentally booked two tickets and that they could only contact the airline for a refund, minus a processing fee of almost $800, and that they couldn't do anything else because I hadn't contacted them within 24 hours of finding out. This is really unreasonable. Why should the customer have to pay for the mistakes of your website employees?
Please can you give me their phone number to call them and get my refund back? I tried to look for their contact info but didn’t find
Please refund my one way ticket of 8th July
My ojo confirmation number is LI3M5
I had a horrible experience to buy ticket from this website. I bought tickets in January for July and we went to airport with all of our luggage and for my surprise our names were not there even ojo already sent us confirmation email and we called from airport to the ojo customer service but nobody helped us and they were blaming your airline canceled your ticket due to schedule change which was completely lied because flight was on time and nothing changed . Even if airline canceled it then they should informed me because I bought tickets from ojo not from airline. Now I just bought new one way tickets from other airline and I requested to refund me my one way ticket and I got another surprise that due to our policy we can’t refund it .. please be careful before buying tickets.I don’t want anyone suffer like me…
Terrible Experience with Oojo: Unprofessional and Unreliable Service
So, I recently decided to book a flight through Oojo (oojo.com) and I must say, my experience was not a pleasant one. At first, everything seemed to be going smoothly. I received an email notification with my reservation code and all the necessary information. I was excited and looking forward to my trip.
However, a few days later, I realized that I had not received my ticket yet. I checked my email and found that I had only received the first confirmation email. I immediately called Oojo to inquire about my ticket. To my surprise, they informed me that they could not see my reservation and advised me to call another number.
I called the other number and was told that my transaction had not gone through and my ticket had not been ticketed. I was shocked and frustrated. I had not received any notification or call from Oojo regarding this issue. To make matters worse, when I asked if they could fix the issue, they told me that I would have to book again, but at a higher price of $600 more than what I had originally paid.
I was outraged. How could they expect me to pay more for their mistake? I asked if they could take accountability for their mistake, but they refused. The best they could offer me was a $25 voucher for my next flight. I was insulted. How could they think that this was an acceptable offer? The guy on the phone even told me that if I found a cheaper flight, I should go with them instead.
I was left wondering how Oojo could operate a business like this. It was clear that they did not care about their customers or their mistakes. I would not recommend Oojo to anyone and will never use their services again.
Warning: Oojo Travel Care Protection Plan is a Scam - My Experience
I had a really bad experience with Oojo. I booked five tickets for myself and my family with the Travel Care Protection Plan, but they didn't tell me that flights were being cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They just wanted to charge me money, so they booked my tickets anyway. When the flight was cancelled by Qatar Airways, they didn't refund me the travel care plan, which cost almost $650. On top of that, they charged me $186 of recall fee from my credit card without my permission.
If you don't buy the protection plan, they charge $250 each to other passengers upon cancellation. Their agents, Mr. Paladin and Mr. Borgee, are real crooks. Once they catch you, they play with you and loot you. I am one of the victims and I'm looking for options to file a case against them. I agree with the comments of LATHA U word by word. The same thing happened to me, and I advise you all to be careful with this company. They are based in India, and their time with USA standard time won't match, so you'll lose your money and time.
I'm really disappointed with Oojo. They should have been more honest with me about the situation with the flights. It's not fair that they charged me so much money and didn't refund me when the flight was cancelled. I hope that other people will read this review and avoid using Oojo.
Disappointing Experience with Oojo: Hidden Cancellation Fees and Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased tickets from Oojo and was disappointed with my experience. When I was making the purchase, the website stated that the cancellation charges were $160 per head. However, when I went to cancel my tickets, I was shocked to see that they were initially charging me $750 per head and $1,500 in total. When I asked for an explanation, they gave me four different reasons, including blaming the airline for the charges. I had to explain to them that the airline had issued a completely refundable ticket, but they still didn't have an answer.
After some back and forth, they finally reduced the cancellation fees to $250. However, when I asked for an explanation, they escalated the issue to their "Special Services" team. I didn't hear back from them for five days, which caused me to have panic attacks because I was afraid of losing all my money. Eventually, they cancelled the tickets and charged me $500, but I still haven't heard back from the Special Services team.
I would advise anyone using Oojo to be cautious and make sure to use a credit card for purchases. There are plenty of scammers out there, and it's important to protect yourself. Overall, my experience with Oojo was frustrating and stressful, and I wouldn't recommend them to others.
Questionable Identity Verification Practices: My Experience with Oojo
So, I was looking for a cheap flight and Rome2Rio.com suggested Oojo. I had never heard of them before, so I did a quick Google search to make sure they were legit. Everything seemed okay, so I went ahead and bought the tickets. However, about an hour later, I got a call from a representative saying they had to switch my flight to a different airline. It was a bit unusual, but I didn't think too much of it.
Later that day, I got another call from Oojo asking me to confirm my identity by sending them a photo of my face and a copy of my photo ID. I've never had to do that before when buying a plane ticket online, and my parents always told me never to give out my photo ID online, so I got a bit suspicious. I decided to cancel my tickets, just to be safe.
It's been around 4 hours since I canceled, and I've only seen a $0.77 charge from Oojo on my account. I'll keep an eye on it and report it if it still goes through. A few hours after canceling, I got another call from Oojo asking me to confirm my identity again. I told the representative that I had already canceled, and they were understanding and said the charge would be canceled.
All the representatives I spoke to were polite, but I'm still not sure about Oojo's authenticity. If they want more business, they should stop asking for a copy of my photo ID and a face picture. It's just too suspicious.
Oojo: A Complete Scam - Don't Waste Your Money!
This company, Oojo, is a complete scam! At first, they were all smiles and sunshine, but as soon as I purchased my ticket, they completely ignored me. They didn't care about me or my family at all. My daughter's passport was expiring in less than 6 months, and they refused to let her board the plane. I tried to reschedule, but they wouldn't let me. They said that if we didn't board right away, we would lose our ticket. I couldn't believe it! My 5-year-old daughter couldn't board, and they didn't even bother to notify me when I entered her passport information.
Then, they told me that I would be considered a no-show and lose my ticket. But how could I be a no-show when I was right there at the airport, talking to them and trying to board? It was ridiculous! I suggested buying two one-way tickets and using my return tickets, but they said no. They told me that if I didn't board right away, I would lose my whole ticket. I had paid for a round-trip ticket, and if I didn't board for the first trip, for whatever reason, I would lose the return as well. It made no sense, but they told me that "it is what it is."
When I talked to customer service, they asked if there was anything they could help me with. I replied, "You didn't even fix my issue." They said that I had lost my tickets, and they refused to let me use my return trip tickets. This company completely ruined my family vacation. They separated us, and we had to spend more money to buy new tickets. It was a complete nightmare.
I am going to sue this company for what they did to me and my family. They are a complete fraud, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Stay away from Oojo!
Terrible Experience with Oojo: Lost Tickets and Double the Cost
I recently had a terrible experience with Oojo, an online travel booking website. I thought I was getting a good deal by using their service, but it ended up costing me twice as much as it should have. The reason for this was because Oojo has a "new system" and they lost my ticket that I had purchased months ago. I had a confirmation from Oojo, but not from the airline itself. I spent hours on hold with their customer service, but no one could help me. They kept telling me that everything was fine and that my payment had been processed, but I still didn't have an itinerary or any confirmation from the airline.
I found it strange that I hadn't received an email from IcelandAir yet, but the two different ladies I talked to at Oojo assured me that it was normal. Finally, just two days before my trip, someone at Oojo admitted that they had lost my tickets and couldn't get the same price. They wouldn't match their old price or pay the difference in cost for the new flight. They didn't make any effort to fix the situation and the price they quoted me to re-purchase the same flight was even more expensive than what the airline was charging.
It was truly unbelievable and a nightmare experience. I was able to get the charges reversed, but it left me with a ticket that cost twice as much as it should have and a headache. I learned my lesson and will never use Oojo again. I would recommend buying directly from the airline or using a more reputable travel booking website like Hopper or Expedia.
Unprofessional and Ripping People Off: My Experience with Oojo.com
So, I decided to book my flights with Oojo.com. I had a family emergency and needed to travel overseas with my daughter. I found their website easy to navigate and selected the flights I needed. Shortly after, an agent called me to confirm the passengers' details and credit card information. I was happy with the service so far.
However, after two days, I received my tickets only to see that they had my daughter's last name wrong. This was a last-minute trip, and I was panicking. I called them to report the issue and ask for help, and they directed me to the airline company. I called the airline and sent a feedback request so they could make a correction. They emailed me saying it was Oojo's fault and they should fix it.
I spent the next few days on the phone, where they were tossing me from one agent to another, and pretty much demanding I pay cancellation fees and for a new ticket! At some point, they started promising they would fix it - I even have the name of the employee that promised - and that I should expect a call soon. The call never came.
In the meantime, I had to book tickets because I still had to travel. I canceled the reservation via their website, but they started demanding that I pay fees! I disputed the charges, and they had the audacity to fight it!
Overall, I found Oojo.com to be unprofessional and ripping people off thousands of dollars. They caused me stress because they don't care about anything else other than ripping people off. I would advise anyone to keep away from them!
Oojo Review: A Nightmare Experience - Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service
I want to share my experience with Oojo, and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I purchased a ticket to Brazil for a two-month stay, and to my surprise, I found out later that I could not take any bags with me. This information was not visible on their website, and if it were, I would not have bought the ticket. I tried to contact their customer service, but unfortunately, they were not helpful at all. During the several calls, the employees either lied to me that they would solve the problem or did not help me at all. The last employee I spoke to told me that they just sell the ticket and that I have to buy the bags if I want any. It was clear to me that they sell a fare that should be much cheaper because it does not include bags for much more money, and they purposefully do not inform the customer about the bags. As a result, the customer finds out that they do not have the right to take bags and must buy those bags from the airline.
I am planning to inform the travel company that Oojo is doing this.
If you feel that you have been scammed by this company, let's join forces and put it out of market, so that they do not keep scamming people any longer. My name is Marciana Lobo, and my telephone number is ***480.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone planning to purchase a ticket from Oojo to be very careful and read all the terms and conditions carefully. It is essential to know what you are paying for and what you are not. The lack of transparency and honesty from Oojo is unacceptable, and I hope that they will change their ways soon.
Terrible Customer Service and Manipulation: My Experience with Oojo Flight Booking Website
I recently had an experience with Oojo, a flight booking website, and it was not a pleasant one. I booked a flight for my mother-in-law to travel from Antananarivo to Washington on July 7, 2022. The next day, I received a call from someone at Oojo to verify the passenger's name and the credit card used for the booking. After the call, I was told that I would receive an e-ticket receipt for the flight.
However, on June 23, 2022, I received a call from someone at Oojo who claimed that they had been trying to contact me, which was not true. They informed me that my flight request had been rejected because the name on the credit card used for the booking was different from the passenger's name. The lady I spoke with was rude and hung up on me after saying that they could rebook the ticket but at a higher price of over $600. I immediately called back, but no one picked up the phone or called me back.
I have since made several attempts to contact Oojo to find out what is going on, but to no avail. The customer service has been terrible, and the main line takes me to people who claim that they do not have access to see what is going on. They promised that someone would contact me regarding the ticket, but no one ever did. Instead, they sent me an email stating that their ticketing system failed to issue the ticket because the name on the credit card did not match the passenger's name.
It is clear to me that Oojo manipulated the situation to make me pay more for the flight. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and would not recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for a reliable flight booking provider, I suggest that you look elsewhere. My experience with Oojo has been absolutely terrible, and I would not want anyone else to go through what I did.
Avoid Oojo at all costs - Terrible customer service and fraudulent practices
This company is absolutely terrible and I would not recommend it to anyone. If you're thinking about booking through Oojo, do yourself a favor and choose a different, more reliable company.
I had a terrible experience with Oojo when I booked a flight ticket that I was unable to use due to testing positive for Covid one day before my flight. Oojo had been urging me to purchase flight insurance for an additional $50, which I eventually did. The insurance policy stated that in the event of a cancellation due to Covid or any other reason, I would receive a full refund or be able to change my flight for no additional fee.
When I contacted Oojo to cancel my flight, they assured me that I would be able to rebook my flight once I was ready to fly again. However, it took me five hours on the phone to be transferred from one person to another, only to be told that I would need to wait a MONTH in the USA until SAS Airline was ready to provide feedback on my case. Alternatively, I could book a business class ticket, which was completely unreasonable. Furthermore, I was assigned an agent who did not respond to my emails for three days.
Despite the insurance policy, Oojo refused to provide me with a refund or exchange for my cancelled flight. They also refused to book me any of the other flights that they were offering online, instead insisting that I book a business class ticket for $5000.
The customer service at Oojo is absolutely terrible and their people talk nonsense. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this company and save themselves a lot of headache and frustration. They are nothing but frauds.
In the end, I had to book a completely new ticket with a different airline and service provider. I will never use Oojo again and I would strongly advise anyone else to do the same.
Oojo did not book the flights correctly when i try to check in
I booked a flight from MCO to CMB depart on 25th apr 4.35pm using OOJO.com travel agent. But when i went to checkin i was not allowed to travel because the jetblue checkin counter told that my first segment from MCO to JFK was not booked to the itinerary. All booking references were provided by OOJO. Now when i call them to give me a new departure flight they are not willing to give one. I am stranded in Orlando with my family for 6 days now. I also have a 1 year infant. We r emotionally and financially affected by this mistake of OOJO.
Desired outcome: I need my departure flight booked today
Horrible customer service
I purchased a ticket since yesterday and its been passed 24 hours and still didn't receive my ticket, i called too many times every call different story same script they will tell you that they don't know and will send am email and will call you back let you know and its all total lies, even if you want to cancel after you give up on everything they wont do it, its my first and last time for sure, i warn everyone not to book from here, you will regret it BIG TIME believe me.
I booked a round-trip flight from Atlanta to Pakistan
I booked a round-trip flight from Atlanta to Pakistan. I boarded the flight from Atlanta on 9th December and went to Pakistan. My return flight was on January 14th, 2022. Right before my flight, my covid test came positive and I informed the airline. At first, the airline and Oojo, told me that I didn't show up and now I have to pay a no-show fee in order to rebook. I explained to them how one is not supposed to travel when they have covid so they do not expose other people to covid-19. It's so hard to communicate with them, they responded to me days after. Upon showing them the right documents, they both agreed that the case is legit so I should be either refunded or get an exchange for the same ticket. By the time they responded which was like a month later or something, I had already come back to the US. I paid $900 for the entire ticket and only used halfway. The refund I was offered was about $91. I settled on that I will exchange the return ticket which I missed with another one in the future before November 2022 which is the validity of my ticket. Now I called them to reschedule the ticket and now they are taking everything from scratch saying that this ticket is totally non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If I want to exchange it, there is a $3200 penalty on it. I have all their conversations recorded and email threads where the company itself agreed that they would help me with it. Now they are just making excuses all over again. They are so unreliable and never check the communication records before contacting a customer.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
On 04/14/2022 I purchased a ticket to *** on the Oojo.com website, when I received an email saying that my purchase couldnt verified my credit card. After that I got an email with the confirmation number, when I realized that this trip didnt include baggage I submitted a cancellation (they offer 24 hours free cancellation fee) I also called to verify the cancellation. Then I got a phone call from the credit card saying that Im late on my payment and also have a late fee, the total amount is $605.35 I submitted a claim with Oojo.com website and the credit card. Im running out of time because Ill probably get another late fee, I contacted them a few times and I need them to resolve this issue.
I was charged for three tickets for a funeral trip. My wife's mother had passed away. I contacted the reservation department and secured a ticket on March 16, 2022. Unfortunately, we were unable to travel due to a negative COVID-19 test result. I proceeded to cancel the booking with the intention of rescheduling for a later date. The representative assured me that the amount of $1264.74 would be refunded. Subsequently, I paid an additional $1138.00 for new tickets issued on March 23, 2022. We traveled and remained at the destination for three months. Upon returning, I reviewed my credit card statement and discovered charges for three separate ticket costs: $1138, $1264, and $1190. I reached out to customer service to address the issue and also contacted my bank. The bank initially credited my account, but the following month, the charges reappeared.
The airline's representative claimed that the additional charges were taxes and aligned with their policy. Further details might be found in the email exchanges I had with them. Despite my efforts, they continued to assert that the two extra charges were legitimate. This situation has left me bewildered and I am seeking your help to resolve this matter. The issue has persisted since July 2022, causing significant stress. I am requesting that the two charges of $1264.74 and $1190 be either refunded or credited back to my credit card.
