OptumRX will not refill prescriptions in a timely manner or at all. This month I called them 6 times (documented calls) before they told me for the 3rd time it is being processed. My 1st call to them was on 4/3/24. Now, my husband, an open heart surgery cardiology patient, has 4 pills left. This will now cost us 3X the normal medical cost as we have to pick them up at a pharmacy. I go through this stress, the lies. the hang-ups, the failure to speak with a supervisor, etc. with EVERY prescription refill - that's 8 times. We are forced by insurance to deal with this company. I too have heart, blood pressure and medical stress issues at age 78. I can no longer deal with this stress. This company is doing everything it can to make sure we do not get our medications in a timely manner & to force us to drop them as a provider and go elsewhere, where we will have no insurance coverage. It is a total disgrace that anyone with paid insurance should have to go through this, much less senior citizens with health issues.
Claimed loss: Cannot but a price on what happens to me with all this stress. Maybe an attorney can.
