THIS IS A SCAM! They advertise Government funded 100% -- "act quick before these funds are discontinued by our state!" This is total fraud -- the company give you a loan to pay for the equipment and trys to sell you on it by saying you will no longer pay an energy *** but will be paying a Solar energy ***... There is no 100% government paid solar anything -- this company shouldn't be in business - The sales lady on the phone had to get her manager *** as they didnt want to tell me it was a loan -- only till i talked to *** did they come out and admit that they are trying to loan you the equipment... Such crap!

We signed up for solar in *** with Orbit in the spring of 2022. This has been nothing but a positive experience. *** is our contact and he has been available for questions/concerns since the first day he met us at our house. Everything was laid out to us in a manner that anyone could understand. He told us up front that the process was slow and it would be months before work started. Once work started in September we were updated constantly on appointment dates and times both by the office and by the onsite ***. Anytime there was a question we were able to contact *** directly and our questions were answered immediately.

Worse company ever. No response, they quick to charge you monthly when you Panels dont even work. I try to call them 6 different times still no answer as of why Im getting charged a loan and the panels dont even work.
This company is definitely a scam. They will not return your calls. We are now in our third year with the company and the solar panels have damaged our roof that we paid for before installing and ruined the paint in the ceiling in my house. The solar panels never work and still have a huge electric ***. No one returns your calls. We are going to hire a lawyer at this point. Our neighbors have solar and are very happy with the companies they hired. Orbit got to big and cant keep up with all the complaints. Dont go with this company.
I must concur that this company's operations are dubious. I acquired solar panels on July 22, 2022, and almost immediately encountered issues. Upon monitoring my account via the Enphase website, I discovered a malfunction with my gateway meter. Additionally, there was a problem with a micro inverter, which I suspect caused the panels to fail in storing energy during a power outage we experienced this morning. Since the beginning of August, I have been attempting to schedule a technician visit. Representatives have contacted me with no definitive timeline for service, only suggesting today that someone might be available to visit my area in two weeks, despite being a mere 35 minutes away. My residence is in the same region where the company is located. It is appalling how swiftly they managed to install the system, yet it's been almost a month without any service. Moreover, their assertion that the installer is not the same individual who conducts repairs is an insult to my intelligence, given my background as an electronic technician. I firmly believe that if the installer is not qualified to repair the system, they should not be permitted to install it in the first place. I will wait for the proposed 'two weeks,' but if no one arrives, I intend to file a formal complaint with Complaintsboard.com, consider canceling my loan, and possibly seek legal counsel. The next communication I expect from them should be to inform me that they are en route, or else I will be canceling my service.

I have had to initiate all communications with the *** spoke with *** who has lied to me and is very rude and condescending. I now have 2 power bills I have to pay. 2 weeks ago she told me she would have a check cut to cover the solar *** that is due 10/15. Today she told me she would have a check cut and mailed out this Friday same day as my *** is due. Extremely frustrating! I would never recommend this company to anyone in fact I would highly recommend not to talk to anyone from Orbit.

My husband and I got solar panels from Orbit back in January, under the recommendation of my in-laws who also got a roof and solar from Orbit a year prior to my installation. They had an amazing experience with the roofing department and the solar department, so we expected to have the same and we did! Our sales rep and the customer service manager were both always available to answer any questions I had before, during, and after my installation. It has been almost a year and a half and we love our panels and how they have offset our electricity use. Our *** has been greatly reduced, and even in some months when we don't use as much energy, it is in the negative! We highly recommend Orbit for any of the services they provide- roofing, solar, or anything else.
I think the company is a scam...Contract you for a service but don't deliver...They slap you with a loan company that demands payment with no service. This company delayed on installation, inspection but hurry to sent up loan payments with services not rendered. One other thing, due to their neglegents when installing the panels they put a hole in my brand new roof that leaked for at least three quarters of the day,after the rain storm. When trying to call the Orbit Energy company no one returns your call or addresses your complaint.
The company set, and reconfirmed the solar consultation appointment. Nobody showed up or called to explain the no-show, and the emails were left unanswered. Inexplicable, strange and inconsiderate. Strange that the customer service even exists.

I had a phenomenal experience with Orbit Solar! Our sales person, *** is the best! He is honest, follows through and was there and available through every step of the way! Everyone else at Orbit whom I spoke to was also very nice and helpful (Special thanks to ***, *** and ***). I am not an easy customer to please but this company goes above and beyond to make sure the process is smooth and easy and I was very happy. They came out 4 different times after the install to make sure everything down to the cosmetics were how I wanted it. After the fact, I ended up using Orbit for a plumbing issue in our home. They came out same day and did a great job once more. Overall, I would recommend Orbit to anyone.

That date was the first time I used the clothes washing machine since the installation. The washer worked perfectly well before the installation, but mysteriously stopped working afterwards. I struggled for hours trying to find the source of the problem, not realizing it was the Orbit team that messed it up by being negligent and sloppy, and definitely not worth the high price they charged! So after working 3 hours on trying to diagnose a washer problem or plumbing problem and ready to call my home protection plan in the morning, I checked one more thing that I had assumed was highly unlikely since I assumed Orbit uses trained professionals. Ha! What a joke! The guys they hired for the day had turned off the basement water supply, both hot and cold to the washer, but never bothered to turn them back on! Moreover, they also turned off the inside valve for the outside spigot, and again, forgot to turn it back on. Why they did this I don't know. I literally wasted 3 hours of my life fixing their mistake! I contacted the salesman who sold us the system that same day by sending an email to him and the corporate office. He called right back but never did anything to rectify the situation. I said to myself to wait a week. If no action, I would write a negative review. You are reading it. Use anyone else. It will be cheaper and they would likely be more responsive.
Telephone number [protected] called my phone, it was a scam caller who was asking about personal information in some town. When you say you don't know what they're talking about, they pivot to asking if you own a home. I hung up and called back, only to be greeted with the company name Orbit Energy & Power. When I mentioned that their phone number was being used for a scam, the lady on the line, with the same tone, asked if I owned a home. I have been registered with the national Do Not Call registry since 2012 and have been receiving these calls for a long time before I identified the company that kept calling me. Legitimate businesses do not ignore the Do Not Call registry.
Terrible experience with the roofing department. 2 months after signing contract, no plan or urgency from Orbit to complete the roof replacement. The customer service line goes to voicemail every time and the project manager is unresponsive after making me his "top priority". I left a review elsewhere and the owner said "...to re-earn your trust, please give us a call" - I called several times, even speaking to a different department (solar) but the roofing department never answered. The owner didn't have the decency to call or email me to attempt to fix things (they have my number as we signed a contract). Absurd.I can't comment on the quality of their work because they didn't do anything.Do yourself a favor and find someone else.

He took the time to answer all of our questions about solar energy, which were numerous since we were novices. I had spoken with salesmen from two other companies who made grand promises but couldn't answer many of my questions. He didn't pressure me to sign up because of expiring incentives. Instead, he suggested I get other estimates, confident in the quality of his product and proud of the company he represented. We spent quite some time discussing, and by the time he left, we had established a good rapport. Whenever I called or texted him, he responded promptly. No question was dismissed as trivial. I believe his company is fortunate to have such a dedicated representative.

I was explained all the details and it was done when they said it will be done, New roof and panels were done in a timely manner, the clean up was good, no debris left behind. Everyone whom I talk to from Orbit was Nice, they answered all my questions and concerns. I would like to give *** Degree a shout out from the time I met *** he has been helpful and professional. He explain the system in details and even when I thought the time was taking to long or got a little worried about the installation and date he was there to assure me that things will be done soon, and let me know what we were waiting on to begin. Whenever I needed *** in regards to a question or concern he answered via phone and via text, I cant wait to see how much I will save. I would recommend Orbit to anyone who is looking into getting solar panels.

Orbit Solar does not value open and truthful communication with their customers. The supposed co-owner name sold me the panels on the guarantee that I would receive an *** cash tax credit and will save money on my electric ***. It was explained to me that I can apply the tax credit to the solar loan to keep my monthly payment the same. In addition to the monthly payment increasing, I was not provided enough solar panels to cover the electric ***. Name stated that this would not be the case and that he would provide additional units if this occurred. For the past few months I contacted customer service via email and phone. The customer service manager name has conveniently been on lunch every time I called. I entered into the solar agreement under the promise that I would save money on my electricity ***.Ive lost time, money, and patience with this snake. I write this complaint to document the lies and injustice done.

Whenever you call to contact *** (the "only one who can give me any type of answers") she is "not at her desk, can I leave a message for her and shell get back to you?" which is a bunch of c*** because she doesn't reach out. I have called 11/18, 11/22, 11/24 with no call back and she wasn't at her desk for any of them. Back in August/September I went through this trying to get ahold of someone with no call back and constantly being told they'll put a ticket in with my name and number and not one person ever called me back. The refund check was only giving to me from August, September and October, all within the beginning of the month.. nothing for November but my solar still isn't up so we still have to pay two bills. All I want is some kind of answer and they don't keep you updated about anything that is going on! Only one phone number to call and clearly no communication throughout the company.

I have been trying to get a technician to come out since the beginning of August, a representative calls me only to tell me they don't know when they will be able to come out, just today I was told "possibly" they can get someone to come out in my area in two weeks, mind you they are only 35 minutes away, in ***. I live in ***. I think it's a disgrace how fast they came out to install it but it's almost a month and I can't get anyone to come out. Then they insult my intelligence telling me that the same person that comes out to install it, is not the same one who repairs it, not knowing I am an electronic technician and if the person who installed it can't repair it then they shouldn't be allowed to install anything. I am going to wait for the "two weeks" if no one comes out I'm going to make an actual claim with the Complaintsboard.com, and also see about cancelling my loan and contact a lawyer. The next time they call me they should be saying they are on their way, or I am cancelling my service.

I am having a terrible experience. First and foremost, no one ever answers the phone. I purchased the whole house system back in Nov. 2021. I was told of all these great incentives. They came out the next day and put the plan in. I attempted to call a few times before Jan because of noise complaints. January comes someone answers the phone. I asked about our incentive, which was a 10yr supply of detergent and other things. They said they would have the finance girls contact me. Here it is in May. I still haven't heard from anyone. I called again in Feb and March and left a message about the sound. Someone called me back after I left a letter demanding a call. Back. It took them a while, though. I told them I was not pleased with the noise I was hearing coming from the machine and coming to get it. They tried to explain the sound was normal, and pretty much there was nothing they could do about the sound. I asked again for them to come to get it. The person said they would have their supervisor contact me, and again here it is *** and I still haven't heard from anyone. I also mentioned the "incentive," and they still couldn't tell me anything. I feel if you all can not answer your phones, return a call, or even keep up your end of the bargain, how can I rely on you to do maintenance when promised. I wouldn't work with them ever again

My panels were installed in February
My panels were installed in February. Then March 7, they were supposed to be working, but according to delmarva power, orbit never sent the docs for running nor for changing the meters. Since then, delmarva has been charging me and I have been paying a loan for the solar panels since February. No benefits from this and I have contacted orbit many times. They keep saying the money paid for the build should be reimbursed by delmarva. Delmarva states that is orbit to be blamed because they send the letter to operate on July 28. I'm still paying bills and my situation had not been changed since then. At the beginning my wife I were very happy with the agent who sold us the panels and all the benefits we thought we would have, but the agent, doesn't reply to me at a time needed and the company doesn't respond for my questions and situation. I have had to rely on other departments from the company to see if they can help me get someone in the customer service department to help me because this department doesn't answer. I have thought of getting a legal approach to delmarva or orbit because none of them wants to take the responsibility to accept their mistakes. Delmarva took 3 months to give the permit to trim the tres from my house and never changed the meter knowing that I had solar panels installed. I have also come to the conclusion that if I don't get my reimbursement of all the bills paid, I would ask for the panels to be removed and stop paying the loan. I am losing more than what i earning and I prefer to pay a good lawyer than have this at my house. I should have waited or compare other solar companies and not let myself be involved in this because of a frend of mine who told me it was a good company. I was holding my review to this company for a while, but I haven't seen any improvement. And I'm tired. If the company would tried to fix my problem, I would not give this review, but they have let me down for 6 months already.

First of all they are scammers! purchased our Solar panels in December. We were told they take care of everything as far as the *** applications. I called to follow up on the applications months later to find out that *** electric Corp is no longer accepting applications for 2023 year. They also offer us the first 6 months if we committed that day when they came to our house for the estimate and they cut the check the day of installation. I would should receive it within a week. Month and half later still no check. I called to follow up and the famous words they created a ticket and someone will be contacting me. Still 2 weeks later nothing, so once again on the phone only to be told there was a ticket created and someone will get back to me. After, a half of dozen calls I get the check. But, that was only the beginning, I was told we would no longer have electric bill, once the last billed was paid. I call the electric company and they told me I will always have a bill, its a connection fee that I will have every month that never goes away. I was also told would get a *** credit every month. Nope cant do that without the *** from the electric company is approved but they are closed. So once again another *** we cant use. Now,when I call no one seems to actually care or even try to help you in anyway because you are no longer a customer. I have had over a dozen of tickets left messages for the manager (by the way she quit). My new one is they transfer me to non person extension with no voice message recording. I wanted to get a copy of my application for the electric company so I can submit it when it reopens and which is only open for a couple of weeks. Nothing,but I have a ticket open. ***(from Orbit) did email me and tell me they were willing to cut the check the *** to help us out for the first year since We can use it to help us.That never happened. We did this to lower our bills and thanks to Orbit we pay more. Still nothing 4mths later

I have sent two referrals to Orbit Energy and Power after my installation was completed
I have sent two referrals to Orbit Energy and Power after my installation was completed. I was told I would be paid $500 for each when the installation for them was completed. I have only received one referral check even though both systems are now installed. The company is refusing to pay the other referral and is not willing to give answers as to why. One of the people I referred that is now installed has referred a few of this friends and was also not paid for his referrals either! Very unprofessional, would not recommend this company to anyone.

Orbit Energy has failed to return our refund of $22,000.00. Each time we contact them, we're met with false assurances. Our initial transaction involved the purchase of two Tesla Powerwalls, which we never received due to ongoing delays and product complications. Upon requesting a refund, they've repeatedly provided us with dates but have consistently failed to honor them. I've spoken with several representatives, receiving nothing but hollow promises. For instance, one representative promised to personally deliver the check on January 28, 2022, but failed to appear. After I reached out, I was told the delivery would be postponed to January 31 due to inclement weather. Yet again, the check did not arrive, and I wasn't even afforded the courtesy of an explanatory message.
I contacted another representative who informed me that the check was ready and awaiting a signature. Shortly thereafter, I was told the payment would need to be sent directly to our lender. This representative provided me with a personal contact number, but despite multiple texts and calls, I received no reply and found their voicemail to be full. Another representative stepped in to manage the situation in the absence of a colleague, promising a callback the following day, which never came. I had to actively seek them out for updates. Now, I've been informed that the check cannot be sent to the lender until a letter is signed, yet they need to send me this letter, the origin of which is unclear even to them. It has been over 60 days of relentless pursuit with no resolution in sight. My calls are never returned; I am always the one initiating contact. The process is incredibly draining, and I am in desperate need of assistance.
I have had problems with Orbit energy from day one
I have had problems with Orbit energy from day one. System wasnt hooked up correctly and in return they owed us money its been three months and I have not received a check for reimbursement. I had a leaking roof which they did come out and fix my roof never leaked before. Reimbursement checks. Have not came I was told I will receive one but never get a call back on the timeframe I will receive my reimbursement. Referral checks I never get an answer on when I will receive them. The information that they need to submit to the state I never got confirmation when I call that they have been received.

One of the selling points the salesperson made was in regards to their referral program. The company's program, of which I am in possession of their marketing piece, states we will be paid $500 for a successful referral. The marketing piece clearly states that the company pays this fee upon installation of the referred customer. We made a referral...it's been months since the referred customer's installation. The company, to date, has refused to pay the referral fee. If I knew this was the moral practice of their CEO and their concierge department, there is no way I would have proceeded with doing business with them.

I had solar panels installed in my home in January 2022. I am not being billed for service that is not on. I have called Orbits several times and they refuse to return phone calls. They were paid by Goodleaps for installation of service but the service has never been completed. I have no solar service as of today 3/16/22. They have have been paid for incomplete installation. The loan company does not know when their is not service. The customer service at *** is invisible. They should not be paid until the service operation. Goodleaps told me that Orbits should reimberse me for the monthly fee until the service is up and running. I have called Orbits many time about being reimberse but they refuse to called me back.

On May 1st, Orbit Solar Power initiated the installation of a roof and solar power system at our residence. The expectation was that all necessary permits would be secured appropriately; however, to date, the solar system permits remain unfinished. Consequently, I have a solar power setup on my roof that is inoperative because Orbit Energy has failed to obtain the required permits. I am burdened with a loan for incomplete goods and services. This company's operations are deceitful, preying on consumers. Inquiries with the City of Clearwater's permitting office confirm that Orbit Energy has not made efforts to finalize the permit process.

I have received a call from good leap and the cost they have and what I sighed are 2 different things, I asked for the document I signed to be sent to me and that was done, however my signature does not show up on it. Good leap was going to have somebody from orbit call me and go over the terms, that never happen. I had called Orbit twice, once 12/30 and once on 1/7, both times I was told they are creating a ticket and somebody will call me back, on the 12/30 was told will be within an hour, nobody has called me. I live in a neighborhood that has a sign for no solicitation. A man came to my door - knocked, I didnt answer. Knocked again, I didnt answer. My dog is now losing his mind. And now Im trying to quiet him so he doesnt wake the babies. Then rang my ***. I asked my mom to answer because I then had to get my crying baby. Mind you, I have a sign right next to my *** that states, Please do not ring the ***, babies are sleeping. I know he saw, because when I looked at the video after my mom answered, he says, I didnt wake the babies did I? My son has to go up to the hospital frequently for appointments and this was the day we could let him rest. This man ruined that. Im tired and so is he. Furthermore, this company should NOT be soliciting when there is a clear sign saying it is not allowed. Nor should they ring the *** when someone has a sign saying not to.

Hello, my name is John. I would like to file a complaint against Orbit Energy Power. We set up with Orbit to have panels installed. I called them about three weeks later to find out when the panels were going to be installed. They came out on the 24th and they were installed about the third week of August. I called to ask about the panels not working. They told me they were waiting on the county to give them the permit for an inspection. I waited another week and called again. They said the same thing again, waiting on the county permit. That same day I called the county to find out what's going on with the permit. They told me that the permit was ready on the 30th of July. After I filed a complaint with the company, two days later the inspector came out on the 2nd of September and the inspector said it failed. Will someone please help me with this? Thank you.

Orbit installed solar panels 6 months ago and have not begun service due to what they claim is a problem with PECO not switching out my meter. My payments began with the company which handles the lease payments for the solar installation call GoodLeap. When I complained in March that I am now paying my regular *** with the $218 installments to GoodLeap, they apologized for the delay and committed to reimbursing me the monthly GoodLeap payment until the meter was switched. They sent me a check for the March payment. Since then I have not received a single payment despite my monthly complaint and their subsequent promises to mail me a check. The total for *** May, June, and July payments I have made is $872. I am seeking restitution as several of their representatives have repeatedly promised and assurances to get monthly reimbursements until they complete the process for my home with PECO. Thank You

As a disabled veteran I was offered discounts and certain things when replacing my roof, instead I later find out the it was a roof repair and nothing I was promised I added. Also I feel that a piece of plywood for $75 is super expensive especially when companies get bulk discount and cheaper price, I know this to be true cause I worked at *** I was promised a leaf guard gutters system and instead I received a cheap gutters system. Roof repair and gutters system for a 900 sq ft roof for $14,500 financed is outrageous especially for just repairing a roof, I could understand if it was a new roof replacement which was I as the sales person for. Now I stuck paying all this money and feeling ripped off. I dont know if you can help, but I figured I try. Also I learned from contractor that he has had the same issues with other customers that where promised one thing and got something else. In other words they offer you apples and you get lemons.

January 25, 2022 Orbit energy and Power sale person came out to give me an written estimate. The estimate was for $6500. On February 17,2022 I signed a contract with Orbit Energy and Power for roof repairs. Initial deposit of $2000 was given to sales person, An appointment was set for February 23, 2022 for repair and they promised to make sure cleanup was done and be prompt about finishing the job on time ,for 2 days and that was complete. . The dispute is Orbit had already given me a written estimate but the invoice was 30 days late with additional work done that was not approved. I kept calling the company, no response. The invoice was $3500 more than stated. In the contract it stated if additional work was needed it would have to be approved and signed by me. This never happened. This time when I called to respond about the invoice no phone calls were returned until I posted a review on April 27,2022.. The person that called me was not from the Orbit Company. He reviews the reviews and contact the person who posted. He told me I need to get the roof inspected to make sure it was done correctly. Now why should I do that? At this point I do not have money for an inspection. This issue has not been resolved.

Orbit Energy is not giving back our refund of $22,000.00. We are given false hopes everytime we reach out and talk to them. We originally purchased 2 Tesla Powerwalls but ended up not getting them because of delays and product issues. Now that we requested a credit back, they are giving us dates but never follow through. Ive talked to *** and ***. Nothing but empty promises. Each time I call its always different scenario. *** said that shes going to hand deliver the check to me on 1/28/22, no show. I texted her she replied back 1/31 now due to the snow. On 1/31, of course no check. Not even a courtesy text that shes unable to make it.I called *** and advised that she has the check and its awaiting signature: next thing I know is that they need to cut the check to our lender directly. *** gave me her cellphone number to follow up. I texted her 3 times called her 3 times. No response. Mailbox is full.*** assured me shes going to take care of me in place of Taras absence. Promised to call me back the next day, did not follow through. I had to chase and find her. Now, the check cant be sent out to the lender because a letter needs to be signed. They have to send me a letter. When will I get that letter? I dont know. She doesnt even know where that letter would come from! Ive been chasing them for over 60 days now and nothing is resolved. No one returns my calls. I have to call them each time. It is very exhausting. I need help.
Definitely would not recommend anyone to use Orbit for any service they offer, especially if you plan on getting a new roof or even solar
Definitely would not recommend anyone to use Orbit for any service they offer, especially if you plan on getting a new roof or even solar. I ended up purchasing a new roof and water system through this company but a couple months later i am now having issues with my roof and the customer service for the roofing department is absolutely Terrible. I have been trying to have someone come take a look at the roof for about a month now. The issue here is the customer service intentionally not answering your calls. I have called multiple times for about 2 or 3 weeks and could never get anyone on the phone. After getting all my calls ignored from *** I ended up using my other phone number to call and like magic she finally answers instantly. I informed her of my issue and said she would create a ticket. After some days pass and not hearing anything back I tried to call again and of course it's nearly impossible to get ahold of her. After finally talking to her again, She said she would create a ticket yet again. Another one of there employees named *** contacted me and said he would try to get out but there was some issue with scheduling to be able to stop over go figure. I have still yet to hear anything from anyone and no point in calling because i will either not get my call answered or will get the run around again. This company will make everything sound good in the beginning but after there job is done and they get paid they don't care about anything especially customer service. I know I am not the only customer with these types of issues but certainly go with another company and STAY AWAY FROM ORBIT.

We recently had solar panels installed at our home and had an excellent experience with Orbit Energy and Possr. They took the time insure that we understood the solar program that we were participating in, all the ins and out. Our system is working now and we are very pleased. Orbit Energy and Power were communicative and efficient.
First of all, they are scammers! I purchased our Solar panels in December. We were told they take care of everything as far as the applications. I called to follow up on the applications months later to find out that the electric Corp is no longer accepting applications for the 2023 year. They also offered us the first 6 months free if we committed that day when they came to our house for the estimate, and they said the check would be issued the day of installation. I was told I would receive it within a week. A month and a half later, still no check. I called to follow up and was told they created a ticket and someone would contact me. Still 2 weeks later, nothing, so once again on the phone only to be told there was a ticket created and someone would get back to me. After half a dozen calls, I finally got the check. But that was only the beginning. I was told we would no longer have an electric bill once the last one was paid. I called the electric company and they told me I will always have a bill; it's a connection fee that I will have every month that never goes away. I was also told I would get a credit every month. Nope, can't do that without approval from the electric company, but they are closed. So once again, another benefit we can't use. Now, when I call, no one seems to actually care or even try to help in any way because I am no longer a new customer. I have had over a dozen tickets, left messages for the manager (by the way, she quit). My latest issue is they transfer me to a non-person extension with no voice message recording. I wanted to get a copy of my application for the electric company so I can submit it when it reopens, which is only open for a couple of weeks. Nothing, but I have a ticket open. A representative from Orbit did email me and tell me they were willing to issue a check to help us out for the first year since we can't use the benefit to help us. That never happened. We did this to lower our bills and thanks to Orbit, we pay more. Still nothing 4 months later.
