osn tv package cancellation
Cancel subscriptions at end of July, 18, still getting invoices and credit card charged. After many call came with the lame excuse that is a mistake in the system that they will fix.. so far nothing is done. Keep away from probably worst service ever.
Promise of call after 48 h are fake, basically seems to be mom and dad business with lack of management.

unable to cancel my osn subscription
Dear Team,
I have been trying to terminate my OSN subscription without any success.
Initially they gave me one month free viewing and asked me to call on the 01st of August 2018 to cancel my subscription without any penalty or payments, which ends on 11th August 2018.
I have now been calling them from the 01st of August 2018.
OSN keeps giving me the same answer whenever I call the customer service helpline.
The answer is " An agent from the cancellation section will contact you to fulfill your request ".
All attempts made by them to contact me through the in- house automatic response system are keeping me on hold and not connecting me to any agents from the cancellation section.
It seems that they are just wasting time till 11th August 2018, where I have to end up paying for the cancellation.
Request you help to resolve this matter .

osn channels subscription
On May 2018 I received a follow up call from your customer service in which I requested to freeze my account for 6 months due to personal issues. The call center informed that they will deduct May subscription but starting from June they will suspend my account until any further notice from my side. Unfortunately, I found that on June the subscription was deducted again and when I called the customer service they told me that I did not report holding the account so I requested them to revise the calls to confirm that I held the account and revert back to me BUT I NEITHER RECEIVED A FEEDBACK NOR THEY SOLVED MY PROBLEM I only received two kinds of calls one from the payments asking me that they have to deduct the subscription and another from the call center asking for the million times why did I cancel the subscription and I already told them several times. ALSO I RECEIVED UNEXPLAINED CALLS IN WHICH WHEN I REPLIED I HEAR I RINGTONE THEN NO ONE FROM THE CALL CENTER ANWERS AND LINE HANGS UP. Yesterday I received a call from the VIP section and AGAIN for 100 times they told that they will revise the calls and come back to me and they didn't

transferring osn to a new house

Dear Team,
Please note that I subscribed on the 4th of July with OSN and I made it clear to the employee that I'm moving to new house on the 1st of August and I need to install it there in order to not pay for the transfer. She stated the following"don't worry, we'll install it now and then we'll transfer it to your new home without any payment".
Yesterday, I called her to ask for the transfer and she asked me to call the call center who stated that I have to pay 85 $ for the transfer.
I don't think it is my mistake, and I need to transfer my OSN to my new house WITHOUT any extra payment.

On the 5th of July 2018 OSN asked me to pay 79.250KD to renew my subscription for 12 months. I paid the money in cash to OSN rep that came to the house. He gave me a receipt for the money collected.
Two days later I get a call from OSN Dubai saying I need to pay more. I asked why and they said they had made a mistake.
Today my subscription has stopped working.
How can this company be trusted? All future subscribers be careful.
I am checking my position to see what I action I can take.

Hi, I enrolled for service in may and mainly for the sportd channels. i confirmed with sales agent if they are going to broadcast india cricket matches. he informed exept for IPL all other matches will b broadcasted. When i checked schedule for entire year there are no matches expect asia cup. when i spoke to customer services they confirmed that they had these but recently stopped broadcasting. when i requested for cancellation they are asking to pay 500aed+ charges for cancellation for the services they promised but unable to deliver. also their customer services were really arrogant. one of the agent also informed that if they r not showing india matches i shud watch other ones which they r showing. this is not solution to my problem.

They lack general knowledge of their product/services/promos—inconsistent and misinform customer/subscribers. They are a complete waste of time, your complaints are not resolved even after several calls. Increase subscription fee without informing the subscriber, if you request for a monthly digital statement or bill to be sent via email, they tell you to check your account via online. Too much hassle for on the subscriber's part, when everything else is at the tip of your fingers—-you tell me this! To make things worse, you finding out that despite paying (auto debited to my bank account)the premium package not all channels were made available...found out after getting a brochure from the kiosk...sat down and surfed all channels to check. That's just simply infuriating. I have decided to cancel my account after 5 years as i no longer am satisfied with their services. I have Netflix and Etisalat Triple play... will just upgrade my package to get the other channels. And they are very transparent with statements what you pay is what you get. Monthly statements are sent and Also SMS payment reminders are sent. Even paying can be done in less than 5 mins if done online. That's what customer service is all about. OSN learn from Etisalat.

After calling osn customer service asking them to cancel the service because i have applied a deal with ben sport, they claimed to offer me a special offer, 50% discount for six months to stay with your company. Therefore, although i have started the deal with ben sport, i called and cancelled with them. furthermore i re-called osn customer service to apply the offer they suggested for me, but their reply was that they won't be able to make it and started negotiating for another one with less standards. I thought you are supposed to be a respectable company that stick to their word with their customers, so i am really shocked and disappointed from the quality of your customer service. i also asked them to stop my osn service immediately and confirming on you to do the same because if the new month came and they deducted the monthly fees from the credit card i have registered on my account, i will complain at higher administrations and in the police station.

the first complaint was aboit the remote control which doesn't work effectively from day one. The second complaint was about the missing number of channels which stops at channel 999.
So as a result i'll take the action and stop the service with regrets that i joined the osn one day

unprofessional act, reluctance in cancelling my subscription
I requested to cancel my OSN subscription two months ago, due to huge hike in their subscription charges. Their customer service officers kept calling me numerous times claiming that the request is incomplete, or trying to offer me new deals, and finally removing added features of subscription and charging me for basic service! I did not ask for all that, all i asked is to cancel my subscription and stop charging my credit card.

OSN proved its self to us as the worst company and untrustworthy. they use your credit card without permission. There rates are highest in the world, while they provide there customers with old and repetitive movies and programs. Be careful with them charging you 10 days before you next month services begin (its the only company in the world that does that, Apparently they do not trust customers).
Do not trust this company, there are other alternative for tv programs and movies. Just check the net for alternatives such net flix, amazon, hulu...etc.

I have an subscription card number ([protected]), the service broke down 2 days ago.
I'm in Alexandria, Egypt. We had windy weather and I went upstairs to check the dish and the bolts had come off the ground as seen in the pictures below. I have more than 10 dishes and they are all okay except for the OSN one.
I phoned the customer service and they said they can send a technician to fix the problem but will cost from 250 LE to 550 LE.
This is not acceptable as OSN had fitted the dish themselves and it broke down, so I'm writing to share my frustration for not having service for 2 days and having to pay to fix a problem which is not my fault.
I want it to be fixed for free and to be compensated for the days without service.

i am not sure who is responsible about the pricing & communication strategy in Egypt, in any respectable company when they decide to increase their prices they have to notify their costumers first before any deduction from their credit card.
Unfortunately, for the second consecutive year yo have done the same mistake deducting the higher monthly fees without notifying me or giving any alternative options.
i have been working in multinational companies and lived in different countries, i have never seen this kind of behavior or treatment ever, sorry to tell you that you are stilling your customers.
Hopefully that any on the management team can image how this is impacting you and it is consider dishonestly from your side

Unfortunately i do not know your email and i cannot send you directly, i am not sure if this will each you or no based on who is receiving the website communication email.
Honestly it is totally unacceptable from OSN as big company -i know that you know what does it mean customer centricity and how to respect your customers as a company- to deduct an addition amount from my credit card as simply you have decided to increase your packages fees without any proper communication for the 2nd consecutive year.
Moreover i didn't authorize you to deduct this additional amount therefore i will complain as well to my bank as this is considered as stilling from my account for the 2nd consecutive year.
Any respectable company should have a proper communication plan to communicate the new prices, it should not by force migration to all customers, it should have a grace period...etc i believe there are lot of actions should have been taken before the price increase as acting like this without respecting your customers.

My OSN number is 3348329, I've been a subscriber for above a decade. My subscription was changed without notice or approval & resulted in obtaining things that I do not need & paying extra charges for nothing. I called on 24 Dec. 10 - November 2017 i received message from OSN Side that subscription fees will be doubled and my package will be change.
i called call center and i informed them i don't agree and they told me that is our system for new packages otherwise you have to cancel your subscription.
i make a complain by team in UAE and they told me they will check and feed me back.

misinforming & unauthorized credit card deduction
I took OSN subscription in Nov-2016 for 01 year & paid charges through my credit card. In March-2017 I relocated my house and did not connected back OSN. On 22nd Nov-2017 there was unauthorized auto deduction from my card for this subscription which was not told to me earlier. On contacting OSN team immediately for refund & cancellation I was told by OSN team on 23rd November that it will be refunded within 07 days which not happened. On again contacting OSN team I was told that refund will be done after deducting 01 month charges which was not correct but still refund not took place. On further contacting on 4th December OSN team given me ticket number 8055244 for refund & 8055267 for cancellation but told that cancellation cannot be done as it require one month notice and I need to pay another 01 month which was totally ridiculous as I had already requested for cancellation on 22nd Nov. From then I am continuously following for refund but every day OSN team telling they will follow with concern team which actually just eye wash for me as it has been nearly 01 month now. I am very much disappointed with OSN service & definitely not recommend OSN to anybody.

Please, report them to the authorities (consumer protection organization or something similar). I have been cheated by OSN recently. They increased the fees without telling us and they were charging the credit card which went unnoticed for long time. When I called to cancel, they gave false promises, spoke to me in a rude way and basically charged me again as they said I should have given them a month notice.
In summary, they play with words and with the fine print they have in the contracts. This is totally unacceptable and very unprofessional. Their customer services representatives confessed that the company policy are bad and unprofessional. You should report them. I'm reporting them for their stealing from my credit card.
