I ordered a pack of underwear from PACT and two pairs out of six ended up breaking stitches the first time I put them on
I ordered a pack of underwear from PACT and two pairs out of six ended up breaking stitches the first time I put them on. The size I ordered was actually slightly too big, so I know it's not a fit issue. I ended up having to throw one of them away because so much stitching had come undone. I then posted a review that included details about the broken stitches on their website, and a customer service representative reached out to me and asked for photos of the defective underwear and order information. I sent them this information, and nothing has happened. Their automated email response promises that they will respond in 2 days and it has been more than 2 weeks. I sent a follow up email and still nothing. It's frustrating because I did not ask for the refund or exchange they initially offered, so what was the point of having me to do that?

Learning the hard way to check ComplaintsBoard.com before buying anything from a company
Learning the hard way to check ComplaintsBoard.com before buying anything from a company. Can't say I would recommend this company to anyone, nor will I be ordering from them again. They changed their stitching to use a specialized serger, so I can't even use my own machine to fix the tights that got a ripped seam after one wash and wear. They did refund me for those, which i appreciated, but I don't even want to buy a replacement from them because the waistband is also changed and I don't like it, compared to the first pairs of tights that I bought from them which I really liked.Their claim of making "earth's favourite clothing" is bunk ... "change starts with your underwear" they say? I literally spent hundreds of dollars upgrading my wardrobe to have all organic underwear and this is now the first time that I have ever had a bad reaction, a raised itchy rash on both hips, to underwear. When I wrote to them asking what they use for their trim (which they state isn't organic) because it gave me a rash, they responded with "so sorry the underwear didn't make it. We'll refund you for the missing item." So I got my $91 back for the one 6-pack, but the other two 6-packs of underwear that I had been wearing for a couple months already are now heading to the garbage. Also the bra I bought from them, with its lace trim, is now suspect and I don't want it against my skin.Won't recommend, won't buy again.
The first order I got from this company smelled like it had been in storage a long time and not properly
The first order I got from this company smelled like it had been in storage a long time and not properly. I didn't complain. I washed the items. That's when I noticed some weird stains, glue or something, still, they are just bathrobes, I didn't bother over it. The second order was undergarments. One item was missing completely, which they had emailed about. I needed to fight them a bit to get the refund for the missing items as they emailed to say I wouldn't be charged even though I was already charged when placing the order. That got processed. Then the other items were all over the place size wise and in no way matched up with their sizing chart. Bottoms too large tops too small, and some of them see thru (tank tops with built in bras). I was just done at that point and requested a full refund. I got the return slip and sent the items back. Almost a month later the refund still has not been processed. I have tried emailing the manage who I was sent over to to ask about this twice now but it doesn't seem to be working. The first time I tried emailing them I got the notice that their system is set up wrong and the email didn't go thru. After that I looked up the customer service email and have been dealing with their lazy and mean staff. Possibly the email to the manager is not working properly because they like their paychecks despite not doing their work, Idk. Anyway finally I decided to call and got to speak to one of their rude employees who told me that my refund was already processed. I told her the money isn't in my account so that is incorrect. She continued to insist that I am incorrect and agreed to contact the accounting department to confirm the refund was processed. Upon further pressing she agreed to follow up with me when they respond. I began to complain about the incompetence at this company which she told me was uncalled for after she neglected to hear the details of the case and had to be pressed to do the bare minimum. ?

Where to even begin
Where to even begin... We ordered a set of towels from Pact. I really liked the style and was hoping the organic cotton and good labor practices were more than just marketing . The order came in 5 boxes on the smaller side - I thought that was a little weird, but whatever. They weren't what we had hoped for, but I liked their clothing so I was sure I'd be back again. Then I began the return process. Never again. I submitted my return request and was given one label for my 5 box order. You can't use one label and print it out five times. I thought I must have done something wrong, so I went back and looked at each item, trying to find multiple labels. Nope - I successfully requested a return for every item, and I got one label. I emailed customer service and received no response. I managed to dig out one big box that barely fit everything and slapped the label on. I wanted it gone. I get a return confirmation, which says I am getting HALF my money back. ***. This is when I realize that a) The return packing slip is NOT for the full order (even though I had requested and confirmed the whole order was being returned on the site) and b) the return interface, where all SIX bath sheets are being returned, has some fuzzy math going on and I'm getting 1/3rd of that money back. I contact customer service and luckily they get back to me much quicker this time. The person says that they'll need to confirm that the warehouse has received the full order before they can return the rest of my money. Sure, no problem. I go to reply to tell her so... and the email doesn't go through. Instead I get an error that states "Message not delivered because the remote server is misconfigured." I understand that things go wrong and often trust that companies will make it right. But I've never had such a string of absurd experiences before - it's just been a big headache. I will be calling them this time around, and if nothing happens I'll submit a complaint through here.

Company went dramatically downhill
Company went dramatically downhill.Used to have reliable, beautifully made basics and super comfortable. Went extremely trendy and now sells mostly trendy stuff you can get anywhere and all you seem to be ABLE to find anywhere. No longer has well made basics. They went from a sanctuary of high quality items difficult to find to generic junk were supposed to be impressed with because its organic.Material was extremely high quality. The cotton they sell now is an extremely cheap knit with a short shelf life that falls apart easily and is fuzzy and uncomfortable. Sometimes holes produce just from washing a brand new item one time. Dont dare do sports or yoga in items, theyll fall apart. Prices are a rip off. They are not high priced due to organic like people think. Ive been shopping here for years and theyve always been organic but prices were almost half of what they are now, no joke. It was one of the most impressive things about the company. Not only did they provide organic, but made it affordable for everyone. Ironically their quality decreased and their prices drastically increased. (This was long before inflation and before corona, it was when they first started going for trendy.)Website does not work on multiple devices. Very difficult to browse and harder to place order. Constant glitches for years. Others had same issue but company failed to make their site user-friendly. Probably why some reported getting overcharged. Items change without you knowing. You could order the same item you liked a year ago and find the material has completely changed, but prices and description stay the same so theres no way of knowing. I bought yoga pants years ago and they were so comfortable I ordered a bunch more and they were unbreathable and uncomfortable and totally different. Size changed too (and no, my body did not). Same with mens lounge pants in regards to material not size. Its clear this company sold out for *** and growth as opposed to growing from the solid business of high quality, fairly priced items it once was and growing steadily from there. Seems they took on the more gluttonous approach all at the customers expense.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS DREADFUL! I love the idea of organic sustainable cotton, fair treatment to the people who make it and am willing to pay a high premium for it, however, I’ve had A LOT of problems with the customer service department over several issues. I’ve had items shipped that were stitched together irregular and falling apart after a single wash. I’ve also seen price discrepancies and feel ripped off. What’s worse is calling the company for support and have received the RUDEST treatment 4 out of 5 times. Filling out a customer service form online is also frustrating as you are limited to specific problem choices that didn’t pertain to my circumstances and they limit your message to a couple of sentences max. Then someone writes you back asking for more info and I don’t have the time or patience to go back n forth with emails, so I called the customer support team on several occasions. I’m overjoyed and feel lucky when someone speaks kindly to me because for the most part I dread calling knowing theres a good chance I’m going to get one of the girls who uptalk AT you with a snotty tone and make you feel highly unvalued! I don’t know why Whole Foods continues to carry this line when you can’t get anywhere with the company’s “customer support” and the quality is hit or miss. They’ve issued me the wrong amount of credit, overcharged me on other orders and my account has been super messed up because of the customer service dept. I wish they’d hire some new people or at least have some extra training to learn how to speak correctly to their customers as they are charging $50 for a flimsy cotton T-shirt where the stitching unravels after 1 wash. The last straw was today after I was calmly explaining my latest unresolved issue with a rep called “Vee” when she rudely interrupted me stating “Uh, take a time out!” and just started speaking over me. This ENRAGED me as I’m in my 50’s and don’t deserve to be told to take a time out like a misbehaving child! Especially when I was calmly explaining the past two issues and other rep failed to handle correctly. Who’s in charge of these girls anyway? I’m sadly going to return EVERYTHING and never shop with them again. It’s too bad because I really like the idea and most of the products I’ve kept. Such a shame.
