Padsplit communication is not professional
Padsplit communication is not professional. And Padsplit does not care about your safety. When you go to Padsplit website it states safety and a background check. Due to me living in Padsplit recent felonys have been allowed. Recently Padsplit allowed a felon in with 1st degree child cruelty keep in mind the home is next door to elementary school plus are neighbors across the street has children as well. Also the member Padsplit allowed was charged for trespassing and breaking and entering and listed as a *** offender and was on the terriost list. I called Padsplit and asked was a background conduct on this individual because I did my own investigation which is public information and I asked how was this member able to reside here.But it gets worse the member was smoking dope in and out the home all the members complained but after you live somewhere after 30days it you are a resident so Padsplit would have to get a eviction notice. Then recently the members tried to jump on me I files a TPO and the member had to warrants out. The home was surrounded with swat team and the sheriff department street was shut down. But let me add this Padsplit puts there homes in low income areas African Americans or Hispanic areas and I am finding Padsplit is considered a short term leasing which in some counties it is out of jurisdiction.So the home owner is getting away with not paying taxes which actually Padsplit is a property management company llc and if anything goes down they can file bankruptcy and open up another company with a different tax id. Also if you are injured inside the property are on the property you have to go after the home owner the homeowner is supposed to have liability insurance so anything you get a fight with another member, fall anything you have to get a attorney and go after the homeowner but you see Padsplit doesn't let homeowners know that so it is a risk. It is dangerous we are strangers living in one roof. I don't recommend it safety first.

I've been renting from padsplit since the January
I've been renting from padsplit since the January. I first had trouble getting into my actual room on move in day, they gave me the wrong code and I had to wait until the following business day to get into my room. I came from 16hours away and expressed this to them before I moved because I read others reviews of having trouble getting into their padsplit. I was only reimbursed for the nights I did not stay in the room, even though I had to get a hotel, friend house hop for the weekend with all my belongings. Besides that it was decent, until my room light and closet light stopped working. The communication has been absolutely HORRIBLE. They tel you one thing and you dont hear from them until you call again. It is absolutely frustrating not having these request fufillled after being put in MULTIPLE times, and being BEYOND patient. I have been contacting over 2 months about the issue of my lights not working in my room. I have to rely on sunlight in order to see properly in my room. I have put in more than 7 maintenance requests, I have called mored than 2 times about this as well as sent many emails about the problems in the house I am paying rent for. I put in other request such I had seen rodents such as roaches and I expressed my concerns about this as WELL. There is a broken rod in the bathroom that a roommate had put on a request for that is still not answered. The broken rods have created 2 holes in the bathroom allowing more bugs to come in since they are very large holes. Can't forget the face one of the bathroom showers dont get hot therefore can't be used for showering. It has been like this since before I even moved in and it STILL is not fixed. I pay my rent on time and I have done so for months, however this is ridiculous. Part of my agreement of payment is the utilities which are not being fufilled on their end. It is not fair I pay my rent on time every week, but they ignore to fix issues that effect my daily life. I would say tread lightly when renting from these people because they are HORRIBLE with communication and actually getting the job done.
