Paysafe Group / iPayment Credit card processing Paysafe (Instore)

I cancelled my credit card serving after 3 years with this company since I was lied to when I originally signed up with them about the fees. They continually added to fees throughout my usage. They just debited my account and charged me for termination fee of $495 after adding a $49 annual fee at the end of december for an inactive account. I have 3 years of their service and I have received 3 years of service. They have the account being opened on 1/7/2020 my cancellation date I 1/5/2023. The reason for cancellation is they're continually jacking the fees which I was verbally told when I signed up would not happen. As you can see I am thoroughly angered by this. Thank you

Paysafe Group / iPayment Charged when account was already closed

I canceled this merchant service about 5 months ago in June and my account was closed I returned my equipment and everything was good. Woke up today on 11/5/2020 and my bank account was negative and they some how still had access to my bank account and literally stole money from me and charged me $399 for equipment charges for a machine and account I closed back in June. Called them up and gave them the FedEx tracking number and everything for the when I sent the machine and proved it was all sent back and closed. Even the lady confirmed an agent signed and received my equipment and everything was fine and I shouldn't have been charged that fee. Well the bad part is I can't dispute it till the 16th of the month which is 11 days away and so my account is gonna keep racking up overdraft fees that this company isn't willing to pay me back and so when I finally get the money back I'll still have about $60 in overdraft fees to cover myself. The company doesn't care and even worse won't let me talk to a manager or supervisor because they don't have one apparently! This is insane, this company literally stole money from my bank account and who knows when they will randomly do it again and make me wait 11 days to get my money back that they shouldn't have touched in the first place!

On the 7th of october I bouggt a paysafe voucher from the local petrol station. I went to use it it online and it git blockex for security reasons? Don't knoq why? After several weeks of about 50 emails to them from me and a few returned emails asking fir picturez of my id and the voucher then asking fir my accoint details for refund but then asking me for even more infornation than what was asked for in the start.. Paysafe Group / iPayment merchant account services

Do not ever use ipayment for your merchant services. They are a complete scam and should be shut down. They've taken $5, 000 of our money and holding those funds for 210 days! They claim it's for potential chargebacks?!

Here's the thing though, we aren't even using them for our merchant account any longer and hours and hours have been spent trying to get them to communicate with us and they are actually hanging up on us telling us a 'manager will call!' never happens of course.

I've never seen or heard of anything like this! All I can say is stay away!

They're thieves, and liars at best and given how they've treated us, I suspect they are doing a lot of damage out there to other entrepreneurs.

Paysafe Group / iPayment merchant processing terminal & policies

I've recently signed up with ipayment to process my mobile transactions. They quickly signed me on and allowed me to process payments. They then placed my account under review resulting in the funds that I processed to be placed on hold for an undisclosed timeframe for review. Under false pretense might I add. With the only response being that they have the right to hold or deduct funds at anytime per the signed onboarding agreement (which I still have yet to find). They also redacted the funds they deposited into our accounts on top of the funds they're holding (which were transferred to an account with numbers that were not my own.) i've only been with them for a week and i'm out of nearly 7, 000 dollars. The reps in risk are extremely evasive and rude. (i've dealt with 5) I contacted my initial activation specialist who works out of boston (who's a godsend). He has been contacting them endlessly for the past 2 days as of 8/8/18 and they too have been giving him the run around. Internal case swapping, no call backs, suddenly out of office, false claims of not receiving emailed documentation, and lies of office times. This scam must be exposed. Small businesses are suffering!... Update to the madness as of 8/14... Our account was terminated at the drop of a dime by an agents personal discretion! I sincerely believe that this is a fraudulent company and "risk management" is nothing more than a rob peter to pay paul scam!

Paysafe Group / iPayment credit card processing fake ad & incompetents

Ipayment, inc. D/b/a creditcardprocessing.com has given me the worst card processing experience i've ever had over the past 52 years that i've owned many businesses.

I provided every single bit of information nicholas iacozza requested during the application process. I was assured that I could immediately process charges up to $2500 each and $20, 000/month.

Two days after my account was setup, I received an email from jenny newman at ipaymentinc.com which said "suspended batch alert: immediate action required." if ms. Newman worked for me, she'd be fired instantly because nothing (not 1 word) in her email told what I needed to do to ‘unsuspend' the one and only $1400 charge! In fact her email said 'please provide the following items by fax or email' but listed absolutely nothing (space was 100% blank)! See screen capture of actual email from jenny newman at ipaymentinc.

I now blame myself for ever contacting these incompetents. I was "suckered" by a website (creditcardprocessing.net) that appears to be a legit reviewer of card processors but is actually an ad for flagship and creditcardprocessing.com which they rate as being #1 and #2.in other words I now realize that fake news suckered me into wasting hours of my time. I have moved on to a legit & competent credit card processor that approved my application in less than 3 hours and had me processing in less than 24!

I signed up in july 2016 was told that my fees were $30 a month +1.49% per swipe +5 cents I was like cool I have a really small business i'm just getting started out this is perfect. After the 1st month I was getting fees and was charged 4 times the amount that I was told +3.5% instead of 1.49%. It took me 2 months to get a hold of a person to help me figure out what they were and they still couldn't figure it out. So I canceled my account and was charged $350 without notice it's a huge scam!

Paysafe Group / iPayment credit card processing

I recently just became a customer of ipayment. We are a well established company that's been in business over 50 years. After two weeks I saw money taken out of our bank account from ipayment. I called to inquire why. They told me it was an account review they do for all new accounts. It turns out that they withdrew all the transactions we processed for the entire 2 weeks and are holding our money while they conduct their "review" - over $10, 000. This is insane! Practically all our revenue is through credit cards and now we are completely held hostage to this company. What are they thinking?! They never even notified us of any review. Good thing I kept our processing machines from the previous company. I already removed the ipayment machines and switched back. As soon as we get our money from ipayment i'm going to tell them what they can do with their services...

Stay very far away from this company. They are horrible.

Absolutely do not do business with this company. Don't use this company. I signed up with them to kick off sales for my new business that had been in development of a product for 18 months. We landed our 1st sale and were quite excited. We used ipaymentinc.com to process our 1st $8000 order. Upon executing the credit card transaction with ipaymentinc.com, they immediately charged us their $250 transaction fee and then never released the $8k. When we contacted them, they indicated that we needed to provided them with 3-months of bank statements, the customer invoice, and customer sales receipt, which we produced immediately. They took 3-days to review and then decided that they would not approve releasing the funds to our checking account because our bank statement did not show any previous large payments. How stupid, this was our 1st sale! I still have not received a refund of my $250 processing fee. They also treated me poorly upon my 1st contact to try and resolve the situation. This company is horrible!

Paysafe Group / iPayment unethical behavior

I payment inc. Merchant company is holding almost 10, 000 in funds because this so called julie called it risky. Due to the fact there were various declines which happens at times because of change of address of a customer. Now they say that they are closing my account and they will hold the money if there are no chargebacks or dispute for 180 days and to call every 30 days. She never answers my phone calls and I will be filing a lawsuit to get this refunded. They are corrupt and misleading. I was misinformed when I called credit card processing and then advise me that I will be using authorize and then come to figure when I have made several transactions and had a problem with one customer, I called authorize.net and told me to call my merchant! Confused and outraged I didn't know my merchant company was someone else. I was reviewing other complaints and will be changing my checking account before they take out money for "reserve"! If any one has had any other issues like this and resolved it or not please notify me at [protected]@gmail.com

Paysafe Group / iPayment paysafe cards are total fake

I bought paysafe card from my local store. But when I wanted to use it in online casino, it turned out that the card was fake and invalid. I called the helpline, and they asked me to provide the contact info and bank account. I gave the info, but they stopped to communicate and charged me for $50 without my warning. Maybe someone has any ideas how to return money back, please contact me then or leave a comment. Thanks.

Paysafe Group / iPayment money taken from account

I have been a customer of I payment for almost 3 years now. I am patiently waiting a few more weeks to cancel their service. I own a small business that produces replicas of military ordnance. Normally I sell a few a month. Nothing spectacular. Last month, I had a client spend over 4k on replicas, and they used their credit card... Little did they know that I had a 3k limit on my account! Well... I get a call from i-payment saying that my account has been "flagged" as high risk... And that they are refusing to release my customer's money to me until I can prove (keep in mind that these people supposedly work for me) that I delivered my products! I do my replicas on a "to order" basis, so I don't stock inventory. I produce product to the customer's specs and wishes. They pay, I order materials, and do the jobs. I tried patiently to explain this to "star", to no avail. So, I say, forget it, I will ask my client to send me a business check instead, just cancel the transaction. They say they can't do that. They tell me I have to go in and cancel the transaction myself. This is all happening in a matter of a week... So, I do that, and find out a week later that they charged me 149+ in credit card fees, plus 110 from their "risk" department, just because they can I guess. So I call again and ask why I am being whacked over 250 bucks for a transaction I was forced to cancel after they refused to give me money a client paid for my services. I was told that they incurred credit card fees and they did not feel it is right for them to have to pay for these fees, so I have to pay. Yeah... Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. What sort of business penalizes its users for doing well?!?!? I checked the web for problems with i-payment before I signed with them, but found little or nothing. That's why I am writing this. From what I read above, I see I am not the only one who is having problems with them "holding" onto their customer's money. That is a shameful way to operate a business. If anyone wants to start a class action suit, count me in.in my business, time is money, and this company cost me time, and almost cost me a huge order. Thank god my customer had no problems paying by business check. I felt like crap having to explain to them that my screwed up credit card processor would not release the funds... And please could they pay by check. We then had to wait until i-payment felt like returning their money to them... Another week goes by...

So, thankfully, my three years with them is up next month, and I will be terminating their employment with me. I highly recommend you avoid this company at all costs! (I have to wait for the full three years because in the contract it says that if I cancel within 1 year I owe them 350 bucks and within three years 250 bucks! Ask yourself what kind of company needs that kind of extortion fees to keep customers or make money?) they are horrible to their customers and are in it to screw you over if they can. I was treated rudely by "star" and do not recommend their service to anyone.

Paysafe Group / iPayment fraud & theft

We do not even have a credit card machine. Also we did not sign any contract. Some how these ipayment people managed to get some of business information. I frequently kept receiving mail from them for 2 years after having called and terminated their service because we had never signed up for any such company. Naturally we thought that the problem was dealt with since we had called multiple time to sort the matter out. So this month we noticed that money was being withdrawn from our business sporadically. We had not given any permission for any company to automatically deduct funds from our account. Our bank was very helpful, they traced the money being withdrawn, they always deducted a different amount as to not raise suspicion, they traced it back for two years! Never the same amount! Our bank calculated that they had stolen around $4, 000 from us. When at the bank the staff called the number on the bank statement to no avail. The reason that we found out about the money was that they had deducted two payments of $50 or so and than credited one of the payments back. This was what raised the red flag for us. The company name did not appear on any of the bank statements. Today I was going through some mail and saw the I payment envelope... Lo and behold everything clicked, it was these people who were stealing from us. I called the number and got a hold of a woman, I immediately proceeded to tell her that I was taping this conversation due to legal issues concerning theft from our account. Normally when employees are subjected to mad people the immediate response is to pass the call on to a superior, she did no such thing, instead she started telling me that she did not give me permission to tape her... Lol! They can tape my conversation but yet when you try to hold them accountable they run with their tail between their legs. She repeated herself 3 times than hung up on me. I was not mean to her but she sure as h* did not want to talk to me. I have heard that other people out there that this has happened to have not been able to contact them, this is the number and address that I have for everyone that wants to get their money back from these scam artists.

iPayment really sucks!

We carged one customer with $5800 through Authorize.net's virtual terminal, which is linked to iPayment. This caused us a hell of trouble. A guy named William (phone number 818-*-6579) called us, informing us our account was suspended. We provided our contract with our customer and other proofs that this was a ligitimate transaction. William still closed our account anyway although I alomst begged him not to: we don't want to have a break in our online service.

Anyway, William coldly told us the account was colsed permanently, and there is nothing he can do. He then ask me to send an authorization fax so he can refund the charge to my customer.

I really don't have any problem if iPayment does not want to do business with us. We got another merchant account within 24 hours with better rates. It is a loss for iPayment, not for us.

However, when the March statement came in, we found iPayment charged us two transction fees:

$234.76 for charging customer of the $5800, and
$118.32 for refunding customer of the $5800.

Does this sound reasonable at all? I wanted to have their service, but they refused. They did not provide the service by depositing the money into my account, why do they charge us with the $234.76 processing fee?

The $118.32 refunding processing fee is even more redicilous. I did not want to refund at all. William did it. Why should I pay for that?

I have called iPayment for many times, the customer service kept saying they have requested the refund and waiting for approval. Finally I got a change to speak to William (BTW, I left messages on his phone, and he never replied). He told me I violated the rule first, and iPayment will not refund anything to me.

On our agreement with iPayment, it is clearly stated that "there is no over-limit penalty". So even if my monthly processing volumn exceeded the limit, we should not be punished by closing our account, and took our money. William used this excuse to refuse refunding me the processing fee is just ridiculous.

The bottom line is: I want iPayment's service, but they declined the serice.in that case, they should not charge me any service fee. My understanding is, at least in this so called free country, you only get paid when you really provide a service. You cannot take people's money by telling them: hey, you want my service? Sorry we won't service you. But you will still pay for the service I did not give to you. Does this sound right at all?

Then I received another statement from iPayment for Aprile. William said he closed my account in March, but he did not. They just keep our account open secretely and keep charging us. This is not moral at all. When I talked with William, he said there is nothing wrong with that and he will not take any responsibility.

Ok, guys, this is just get more and more rediculous. I don't know this is the ture iPayment, or just William is not doing his job correctly. When I requested to talk to his supervisor, he said he is the supervisor already. If so, I guess it is iPayment's policy to be rude to customers. I called William again. And finally he agreed to refund me $118.32, the fee to the other direction. The the monthly fee they charged secretly, as usual, they are still waiting for "approval".

BTW, I got iPayment service through Flagship Merchant Service, the top-rated merchant service provider on the net. Obviously Flagship is just a dealer. Once an account was sold, there is nothing to do with them anymore. If you are looking for a merchant account, be careful with iPayment.

Conclusion: iPayment really sucks. I am going to set up a website called "IPaymentSucks.com" when I have time.

Out of nowhere we start getting bills from iPayment. Of course all of my commitments are accounted for and handled by bank draft or on line bill pay so we were not expecting a bill from iPayment. There were late fees as well. The lady at iPayment said it's a PCI charge and if we pay them $129 by May 24th they will wave the $30 late charge. I say [censored] and am not paying a dime.

ipayment suspended payments OUT of our account to our bank account without informing us...for nine months. All the while, ipayment was happy to continue processing transactions and stockpiling our funds, assessing us fees, etc. EVEN AFTER we terminated our service with them, ipayment STILL kept our suspended funds...not saying a word about it until we finally confronted them.

Monthly fees are excessive and surprise "early termination" and PCI compliance fees of nearly $500 were the price to get away from these underhanded people.

Parasites. Use ANY other service.

I am going through the same exact problem x3. I would also like to highlight the fact that I went through Flagship Merchant as well. I never chose Ipayment!? Beware of Flagship Merchant...you get stuck with Ipayment and your business will lose money.

Paysafe Group / iPayment erroneous charges

Do not use this company! I cannot stress this enough. I used them for 4 years and every month I had to go through the statement with a fine tooth comb for erroneous charges. Then you have to take your time to call the company to have the charges credited.in the meantime, they have been using your money. Their fees pop up from nowhere. Even after cancelling their service 2 months ago, they continue to charge my bank account. I am in the process of filing a bbb complaint against them. And i'm not the first. Check out bbb... They have a lot of complaints filed against them. Do your due diligence... Check them out. The have a huge pci compliance fee that they charge every year and even if they agree to reduce it for you, you have to call them every time. Warning: stay away. There are much better cc processing companies out there!

This company is a fraud and scam, I signed up with them, and canceled on second week, as they charged me way more than what they said, and even that I canceled they started to charge me their monthly fees, month after month.

Paysafe Group / iPayment ipayment is a scam!

In July of 2010, I was called by Ipayment claiming that I have been over charged by my merchant company of around $2, 000. I called my merchant company to confirm this and they said they would be sending out someone to assist me. When Mr. Walton arrived the next day he said I would be getting my credit in a couple of months and he looked at my machine, and told me that it needed to be updated, also that I could lower my rates if I signed a new lease contract. He told me that I was going to have the same company and that everything would be the same except my rates were lower.
Later, little did I except I was actually switched into another company, which would be iPayment. I was charged more than I was charged from my other company. On the contract I signed it also never said when my lease for the machine would end, he told me it would be 2 years, but when I receive a letter, it tells me that it will be in 4 years. On the contract my rates were only up to 2.75 % and I was being charge about 5%. I tried emailing the main company and all they can tell me is that that was not my rate.
I tried calling mr. Walton again and no answer not even at his office. I even tried to email him, but my server told me the address was invalid. Then, when I call the main company later they actually then tell me that I was being charged those rates because I went over the maximum I could charge. I have never heard of this nor was it mention by Mr. Walton. I also did not see this in my contract. Now, months later I am stuck with a Leasing company that I can’t cancel and I have been tricked thousands of dollars. I also have not received my credit back. What is the most troubling thing is that after I was switched Mr. Walton could have at least cancelled my old company if he was going to switch me like this. They have been charging m thousands in fees and I didn’t even know it. This is really an untruthful company and I am really unhappy with the service I have received. This company is a scam

This people are not truthful and will do whatever they can not to be forth coming. Warning do not do business with them! Do yourself a favor and fine an other merchant service!

Paysafe Group / iPayment pci fraud

They pulled our PCI compliance certificate a month early then charged us for being non-compliant plus charging us for a nother year for PCI compliance. We faxed all our company certificates from McAfee that we hired to get our PCI compliance back yet they refuse to refund our money.

We filed a complaint with the BBB and they promised our fees back but they still have not honored that.

I think you are confused...

Your processing merchant, BCMS, is correct - they are not a PCI/QSA vendor so they can not warranty your card processing security. Only a QSA vendor can. You can see all the Qualified Security Assessor’s that are approved by Visa and MasterCard vendors at https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org/approved_companies_providers/approved_scanning_vendors.php

The Visa site also has the list that they have approved -- basically if Visa/MC has not approved them they are NOT a PCI approved. See http://usa.visa.com/merchants/risk_management/cisp_service_providers.html

I to am a First Data customer and also a customer through Security Metrics as part of my agreement with First Data. I believe something is allegedly a miss with Security Metrics. Let me explain-

A few weeks ago I had Security Metrics run a scan on both my IP and website address. The IP scan came out fine, the website returned a failing grade (all in all I ran 4 scans and all came back failing). I gathered all of the information and took it to my site provider in hopes of fixing the issue.

The site provider told me that Security Metrics scan is coming back with false positives and that Prostores, my site provider is in fact PCI complaint. Prostores then gave me the information that proved that my site provider is complaint. I have included the email from my site provider below.

Thank you for contacting ProStores Technical Support. This issue, "PCI Compliance errors - Security Metrics", has been marked as resolved based on the following steps:

ProStores is PCI compliant.

ProStores uses code that can cause false positives such as the ProStores SSML code, etc.

I then received my monthly invoice from First Data and found a link to another PCI company and registered for the service (I was skeptical of Security Metric and was thinking of getting a second opinion anyway). To my surprise another company PCI Rapid Comply ran the same scan of both my IP and website and round that my site WAS COMPLAINT.

I have since wrote to Security Metrics with my findings and informed them I was going to look into having them investigated and have not had any response as of yet.

We have just received an email from Barclaycard merchant services and in it they ask me to be PCI compliant, ok that's fine, now in this email they give me three web links, one is to www.pcisecuritystandards.org which when you get there and identify your business environment you can download a document that has 20 pages, that is the B form, now when you look at this form (i am an IT person, and have been, for 35 years, yes there were computers then) the document relates to nearly every business on the planet, the site itself has a HTTPS and it shows a GREEN "SAFETY STRIP" but the site does not collect any data, when i looked at the document and found that it was user Unfriendly, lots of questions not relating to my setup as a card accepter, i was forced to go back to the original email and follow the other link, www.securitymetrics.com when i went there, i had to register and was asked to pay £11.97 this is a discounted price for BCMS customers, when i read the terms and conditions, it stated that basically they were not responsible for anything that i told them?, so when i called them and asked what they did, they said that the form i filled in online was sent to BCMS, my question is why are BCMS asking me to give an undertaking to a third party that does not warrant the information, and why do i have to pay for the privilege, Barclays say that this company are APPROVED and if i did not conform to this then i could get a MASSIVE FINE from a card company, i only transact cards from a machine that is connected to the telephone line directly and the receipts that we keep are put into a secure till along with all the money that we take in the course of a day, and are then put in a locked device in a locked and secure office. my question is why when i signed a document in the first place on applying to get a terminal, it stated in legal garb that i would be totally diligent at storing any details of customers securely, which is what we do, can anybody see why the VISA's of this world are asking BCMS to get me to comply to this, when BCMS should have been making sure that i was secure, this form has to be submitted each year, and presumably the full fee would be payable, about £80, this directive has been in existence since 2004 ish so why do the banks now ask for this fee to be paid, and why do the banks not ask me directly what i do to comply, i put this to BCMS and their answer is that they are not able to process the data as they are not PCI DSS approved people, PCI DSS accreditation takes and individual less than a week to pass the course, are we being ripped off, or do they honestly think that they are not able to administer a simple form, i think the former, barclay card are being very coy about their answer, s as i have had a number of calls to and from them, and it has got to a higher level, has anybody else had this email.

Paysafe Group / iPayment rip off

I was a client of merchant services and I payment who use wells fargo bank. I was supposed to have a max of $9000 a month in processing and an average ticket of $1500.00. These idiot over there put a $4000 max and a $150.. Avg. Invoice. I am in the business of high end home and car audio and cannot even have a min in of $150.00... I have speakers that cost $1100 so these people are on crack.. Plus they say no fees or hidden fees when every month they tact on stuff. And then I try cancelling and they won't let me, and then I stop using me and they charge me $129.30 and say well you forgot to fill out this and that so we bill you 130.00 in fees, well as of this morning I stopped payment on this account and they can sue me... Do not use merchant service, I payment or wells fargo for nothing...

Paysafe Group / iPayment do not use this credit card processor

I am single mom and I started a small graphic design business. I already had clients paying with check, but it was an inconvenience for some, so I decided to ad credit card processing. Everything was fine and I had several transactions with my clients, until I was accused of not delivering service or merchandise by a new customer. After faxing all documents to this processor, proving the complete opposite, even a tracking number by UPS proving that the merchandise was delivered,
This processor went into my account and withdrew $1500 twice (total of $3000) in one day, and they are withholding over $4700 in customer transactions (total of $7800) and they are not returning my calls now. My bank account is overdrawn and I had no one to turn to. The initial dispute amount with the client is $270, and I even had a letter from UPS proving that the merchandise was delivered. This is putting me and my 2 kids in an awful situation. This processor is scam and they do not listen to their clients (let alone to give us the benefit of the doubt). They withdrew the funds and said that it could take up to 180 days for them to investigate..investigate what? I gave you proof that it was delivered. This is a tactic used by ### to gain interest by holding funds of hard working Americans. DONOT AND I SAY IT AGAIN, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We found them online thru gotmerchant.com.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THEIR DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE (consumer protection or fraud department) - it will cost you nothing and they need more reports on file. This egregious behavior is NOT TO BE TOLERATED...predatory, usurious, deceitful!

William has been really a headache to my buissines, i use to have another processor before but i decide to go with Flaggship because of lower rates, they open me account with ipayment, ipayment gave 1 week of service and i never receive my funds (4000 usd) so i decide tro contact them to ask if any problem, William said my bussines is a high risk and he will held the funds for 3 months to 1 year, at that time i had 0% chargebacks, and he also CLOSED my account, why are you closing my account? because i can he said, we dont want to do bussines with you, what about my money, the money is on held and will be release do not know when, at the next coming days ipayment took about another $500 usd from my checking account, i try to contact William again and he said he put me on a TERMINATION list, this damage my bussines reputationand now no one want to provide me service, thanks god i went to my old processor and they accept me, but now ipayment damage all my credit history, my bank has closed me mi 2 credit cards ($30, 000 usd) my 2 bussines account and my personal checking account, my bank said because of my bad reputation to do bussines, i been on the same bussines for 5 year with no problem, and 1 week service with ipayment damage all my good history, bussines and personal. i went to BBB, BBB just send him my matter and William answer my bussines is a high risk and thats it, are you kidding BBB? BBB closed my case, without any help to me, Who is William on ipayment, the owner, the boss or what? somebody need to fire him because hes damaging ipayment image and bussines. I will sue ipayment for damagin all my financial record, probably i get rich on that, i believe this is not going to be a $10, 000 sue, problably i will add another 0 to my savings.

These are typical problems with the card processing industry. I wish there would be a REAL government control on this industry who is sucking merchants blood. iPayment practice is a notorious scam.

I agree with every single complaint on this board. The guy that is being mentioned named WILLIAM is definitely a LIAR, a crook, rude and disrespectful. He called me to tell me that I needed to send a "bill of sale" for a transaction that was over my highest ticket ($2100), this was holding up all of my funds that weren't even over the ticket so I immediately sent him the information and called him the next day to verify that he had what he needed. He said the money would be in my account by Wednesday...Wednesday came and no money was deposited. Called again and he had a totally different story and said he needs to call the customer and confirm that they received the merchandise? WTF? I said to him. "that is NOT what you told me the other day and moreover I do NOT extend credit to customers when their funds have not been cleared. What kind of idiot do you think I am? With online fraud being at an all time high, you think I'm going to send a customer merchandise without receiving funds?" He then proceeded to tell me how I should run my business and that I should have capital to cover losses!? What did I hire YOU people for? You're suppose to be on MY side to make sure that the customers information and credit card are secure! He just kept digging his own grave and making me realize how much I despise the company and how they handle business.

I'm DONE with iPayment inc and WILL be filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. I used to work in law and know exactly what to do in a case like this. Trust and believe I am NOT tolerating this nonsense and I will make sure that iPayment inc is put on full blown blast for this type of behavior.
I don't know which credit card processing service I am going to go with but I'm about to do some extensive research on ALL of them. I'm sure they all have their own ish with them but perhaps choosing the lessor evil will make me sleep better at night.

The fact that Flagship is # 1 on the Top Ten Reviews is appalling but then again that whole rating system is rigged anyway and Flagship spends a lot of money on Google Ad words to come up higher in search rankings and I'm positive they PAY to be ranked on Top Ten Reviews for Credit Card processors. DARN LIARS!

Note to all who is reading this. STAY AWAY from iPayment inc. I don't know where else is a good place to go as I have not experience the others yet but X them off your list...I'll be back with an update

I wished I had googled iPayment before setting up with them. This company is a bunch of crooks. They have over $5000.00 of my money that they are holding. I have sold and shipped out the merchandise. I have contacted them and provided them with the shipping numbers. But still they are holding the money. I should have stayed with google checkout. This is the worse company to do business with. they are even worse then PAYPAL. Stay away from Ipaymentinc, they are a scam.

I agree with all of the above. I'm a new customer who thought I was signing up for one thing and got another. To date, my business has not had any sales, but I started getting $30 per month charges. When I called them up to find out why, since I had not even completed the sign-up process, they did stop taking the $30...instead they took $350 as a cancellation fee, without my knowledge or authorization. I have tried calling them repeatedly but have been unable to reach a live person. I'm a micro business person trying to become a small business. They are aware that my business has had $0.00 sales, but they still debited my account without any correspondence or warning. Now the aggravation begins, closing bank accounts, trying to get my money back, etc. It pays to Google any internet company before providing sensitive information. Today I was certain I would find complaints against iPayment and i was not disappointed. With the number of complaints against them it is difficult to believe they're still in business.

Wait till you get all the fees coming your way. Process fee, termination fee $350 and more. Watch your bank account they take it without you knowing it.

They opened a merchant account with me and gave me a maximum transaction limit of $400 and $3000 a month. I told them "you reviewed my site, I sell mobile phones at retail price and my lowest priced phone is $479." They held ALL my funds in my account and wanted to call each and every customer before depositing the funds. I told them I will not ship expensive merchandise out for free, I need the money in my account first. I CANT BELIEVE how all these merchants these days expect you to ship out goods and then deal with collecting payments later..it doesnt work that way. Then they said they dont "feel comfortable" approving my transactions! Why did you accept my business in the first place?! I got a letter saying they terminated me

I agree with the above post; if you are having problems it NEEDS to be reported, but the FTC is the GOVERNING agency over ISO's; file a complaint for EACH individual INSTANCE that you have been HARMED or suffered DAMAGES. The more ATTENTION the FTC gets regarding this or any other company will assist in them expediting their own investigation.

Ipayment has been successfully sued and the owner appears to be dodging a $300, 000, 000.00 judgment against him. Maybe this is why the company has such a huge tract record or poor customer service and shady business activity.

Ever since Ipayment began holding several thousand dollars of our money, we spoke to William in Risk management back in Sept of 2010. He was very rude on the phone and advised the funds would be on hold and they'd review the account in 30 days to see if they could be released. 30 days came and went, no funds released. We called William every 30 days for 6 months straight. Never answers phone, always goes to voice mail. Each time we were polite and asked for a call back. Not once did he attempt to call us. Either he doesn't care about customer service or he is scared of a possible confrontation.

6 months later they again held more funds. Called spoke to another person in Risk Management (who was actually a nice guy--you can still be nice and deliver poor news) and advised they were closing our account and here's the kicker--they would be holding our funds (back from Sept. and recent) for another 7 months. He explained it would take 30 days to cancel the account then they can hold the funds for another 6 months beyond that date. Contract says they can only hold funds for 6 months. Can someone say fraud?

Our business is now at the doors of bankruptcy and we've had to cancel and refund customer's unshipped orders. William called us to see why we were refunding some orders. He was rude and proceeded to tell us how to properly run a business. Huh? He ended up hanging up on us during the phone conversation midway through my sentence. Didn't even bother trying to call him back--why bother? Again, this was from a company we paid for a service. The good thing is we new what to expect from the conversation and recorded it!

If your reading this, most likely you already use this company, so there is no sense in warning you to stay away. Here's what you can do, won't get you much results but if your having a problem report them to the better business bureau. This will not force things in your favor, but in the very least you'll get a call back. Report it to there state's attorney general. Once they get enough complains on file, they'll open an investigation. Once a company is being investigated by the attorney general, they'll always find areas to focus on. Close your bank account and end your relationship with this company ASAP.
