Penguin Random House Complaints 2
DelRey paperback ISBN [protected], EVOLUTION by Stephen Baxter
I ordered this from Amazon on July 9, 2021, new, $8.99, Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLC., condition: New. I ordered this from Amazon on July 9, 2021, on Visa for $8.99, Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLC., condition: New, Order# [protected].
It arrived July 12, but was damaged during its printing. The print, even the front and back covers, is skewed, and every fifth page so badly skewed that some of the text is missing. That makes the book unreadable, but I am 85 years old with a prognosis of Macular Degeneration, and wouldn't want to try to read a 654-page book where the pages aren't printed correctly.
I was very surprised, having been a science fiction fan since age 13 and never before buying a DelRey paperback that was damaged. I've tried in many ways to contact Amazon, and in any case I'm afraid they got a truckoad of these damaged books and I might not receive a readable one from Amazon. So I'm going to you, the manufacturer, and hope you can arrange for DelRey to send a good copy directly to me: Sandra Fulton, 22 W. Rittenhouse St., Apt. 217, Philadelphia, PA, 19144. Phone number: [protected]. Email: [protected]@earthlink.net. Since the problem was caused by DelRey's printer, you owe me a cost-free book. Thank you.
Desired outcome: Receipt of a new paperback book ISBN [protected], EVOLUTION by Stephen Baxter, without cost to me.
