This company has on my credit report that I owe to medical, I do not know who they are, who the "original" is, or when this transpired. I have NO documentation on any of this I found it by pulling my reports. I will not pay for something that is not mine and they will not give me information to go by.

First of all, I rate one star because there is no way I would be able to post a review if I did not select a rating. This company is pure nonsense! Ruined my credit report by reporting to collection for a debt my medical insurance paid and settled 3 years ago. This company needs to be stopped. We work hard for our credit reports by paying our bills on time, then they just ruin it and literally steal! This company is a thief, and I wonder why they have not been taken down yet. I have not seen any single positive review about them. I will not stop until I can get justice. I hope this place is closed for good.

Definitely no stars if I could. Threatened to keep an eye on my credit score & to keep deliberately messing up my credit score everytime it goes up if I did not pay a medical *** that I already resolved with the company. I wish I could have recorded that phone call for everyone to hear it! Talk about unprofessional.

I was getting five calls a day from this number and finally called them back. A guy answers, and when I inquire about their intentions, he casually responds that he just picked up the phone – off to a great start. He proceeds to say they're looking for a person, whose name I choose not to disclose. I retort, 'Do I sound like the person you're seeking?' His comeback? 'Well, you never know in this day and age.' So, it appears they are not only desperate individuals but also seem to have prejudiced inclinations. I surmise they might be individuals with past convictions who find it challenging to secure employment elsewhere, making this job the best they can get. And the ultimate twist in this tale? They had the wrong number.

These people are as disingenuous and dishonest as anyone I have ever encountered. They got a claim for a 5 year old medical issue for $79 that I worked with them on in good faith to identify as legitimate or not. It was not, but I very foolishly decided to settle for $40 to get rid of them. But get this - they still put it on my credit with no notice! And I kept getting hung up on by their reps when I complained, one of them telling me to learn to pay my bills on time. These people are criminals, their conduct is despicable. If you ever get a claim from them, watch your back. I will be filing a complaint with the attorney general. If i could rate these lying crooks with a rating under zero as a negative I could do it. I wont stop until they remove this bogus post to my credit. Their supervisor promised to expedite, but nothing done yet. I dont know about you but I work too hard for my good credit. How dare they.

Just received an email stating PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICES, LLC has put $1,180 on my Equifax credit report, right in the midst of me buying a house! First of all, I do not owe anyone any money and second, I disputed this about a year ago and it was removed. Now, its back again! Right now, I am so mad I could chew up a nail and spit out tacks! These people are CROOKS!

This *** reported on my credit, somehow although I have 100% payment history on all accounts ever opened. 7 different collection accounts of small amounts around $100-500 each. This is fraudulent and illegal.

Repeatedly received requests to pay ER bill that I had already paid. Got letters and calls. When called to tell them to stop, got robot who wanted my birthdate. I hung up. SCAM... they offered to let me pay less than I owed. Luckily I contacted the hospital and I had a zero balance. Please be aware.

this appears to be a SCAM. i got the Notice. but misread it to be for a car loan and paid $1000. then i finally found out by reading the back that it was for my girl friend who supposedly was in a hospital in Florida in 2016? of course she denies this. but the reviews are NOT good for this company, so will just add to the BAD Reviews. thanks for listening.

They try to call me. And used a phone cloning number. The number came up as the area code same as mine. I have NO outstanding debt. And a credit rating of over 800. I told them that I am on the do not call list and they keep calling. I never let them even get to explain why they are calling, I tell them I never heard of them and have no interest in anything they have to say then hang up. Then I block the number they are calling from, put they just clone another number.

This is a scam, First of all before they contact you on the phone they should send a letter in the mail and give you 30 days to respond and dispute if necessary. When Aaron K called today, he asked for my personal information without telling me who he was or where he was calling from. I told him he was a scam and he hung up on me. I called the number back and an unidentified female answered , she did not give the company's name until I forced her to say it. I told her I was reporting them to the Attorney General an d she hung up.

Phoenix Financial Services SCAM! They sent me and my fiance a bill from an account they say attained from a hospital that we visited

SCAM! They sent me and my fiance a bill from an account they say attained from a hospital that we visited. I've had the same insurance over 20 years and i don't owe any medical business a penny. I even contacted the hospital to verify everything and I OWE ZERO! They said they don't even work with this company and never have. When I informed PFS agent that I had insurance and asked could I contact the hospital to try and resolve it, he said that they now have the account and since its been over a year that the hospital wouldn't be able to help. Had their information on me be accurate they would still be liars. This particular hospital said , if i did owe anything, they would still be able to accept my insurance 2 years later.. If this goes on my credit I will be contacting an attorney. I've worked hard for my credit and won't allow this company to scam me and mess up what I've worked hard for. This also raises questions into the Complaintsboard.com's policies. How can this business have a B+ rating with 63 reviews and over 90% are 3 stars or less. VERY SKETCHY!

Phoenix Financial Services I have asked for documented documents showing that I owe the money

I have asked for documented documents showing that I owe the money. They said they had mailed it to me and even go check my mailbox the day that I talked to them as it was in the mail. I checked it was not in the mail. I've never received any bills from them or collection notices saying that I owe them money. She said she would send it to me in an email, gave her my email address and I waited a few months and I still do not have it. I requested hospital bills and documentation showing that I owe this ***. I also advice that at the time of the billing I had insurance through my employer, yet still never receive the *** at the time. You cannot collect money from somebody without giving them notice and then when you do get contact with them , they still do not give the notice or the bills. It is over 3 years and it needs to be removed from my credit report. I am not paying something with my insurance covered it at the time, much less when I won't be provided any medical bills or documentation stating that I owe this. Please delete this off my credit report, we're going on 7 years now.

This company is a scam company pretending to be a real debt collection agency. They signed up with Complaintsboard.com and somehow got accredited so they could appear legitimate but they are not. And even if they are real, the employees are very rude so either they're a terrible business or a scammer , but the way they talked to me and avoided answering questions, they were speaking the exact same way thar scam callers speak to me. Someone even answered the phone while they were singing, which is what scammers do sometimes. It was actually the same exact voice as one of the scammers that calls me everyday, and she sings when she calls me too, so I know for a fact these guys are scammers. Please contact me back about this because I will be reporting this company to the police as well for fraud.

Phoenix Financial appears on my credit report stating I owe $904 for a past due doctor's visit in 2021. This is fraudulent and a scam. I haven't lived in the state mentioned since 2018 and I never visited any medical facility in 2021. This claim was opened this year and it's now illegal to post medical claims on credit reports by law. I never received a medical bill from any doctor. I called the original creditor, DEGARA APP PLLC, and I was informed I have no outstanding bills or accounts. Phoenix Financial will not provide me any documents proving such debt, especially from the original debtor. They have not sent anything via mail; even when I called them, no proof was provided. Phoenix Financial is listing this collection as a new debt in 2022; they are a third-party debt collector. I want this removed from my credit immediately.

Contacted for weeks by this company. They would call, let the phone ring once, then hang up. Eventually they left a voicemail. Received a letter stating I owed over $1700 for a patient that I have never met nor have any relation to. Was assured the case number was put into dispute, only to call back and have the next person say that it was not in dispute but that he would put it in dispute. Have written emails with no response. This debt does not belong to me, nor anyone related to me. They do not even have the same name. Its ridiculous that one can be harassed by these people, and even when they are in the wrong, they drag their feet to correct the issue. You are messing with peoples lives. Get rid of this debt, and go find the right person. Again, it does not belong to me, or anyone in relation to me. And email/mail me proof that it has been wiped from my name.

Phoenix Financial Services My initial call from them was from a man named Jeff

My initial call from them was from a man named Jeff. He called and let me know that it was an attempt to claim an apparent debt from an ER visit. This ER visit was covered by my State Insurance that I had at the time and still have. Upon talking to Jeff about this he got irate and hung up the phone mid conversation. A few weeks later I received a notice that I had a collection account with this company. I immediately called and asked them why. The female that I spoke to apologized for Jeff's irrational behavior. Then proceeded to tell me that they are able to look up and verify my state insurance. I opened a dispute to remove this from the 3 credit reporting agencies that this account was reported to and the reporting agencies reporting that this company verified the validity of this fraudulently created collection account. I called again and spoke to Jeff..again...he was extremely rude and hung up in my face again. So I called back and asked to speak to someone else. Apparently theres only a few employees for this company. I simply wanted this incorrect collection account off of my credit as I do not owe the money. Their practices are not ethical at all.

I called Phoenix Financial last month to make payment arrangements. I set up a payment plan to pay this account off in full in 3 months. I made a payment of $184.16 on 9/6/2022. They reported this account IN FULL, even after payment, to my Experian credit report 3 times with dates 8/15/2022, 8/31/2022, and today, 9/29/2022. This is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This needs to be removed.

Phoenix Financial Services had reported on my credit report recently as of 09/28/2022 that a collection account that they had in their office was unpaid. This debt was in fact settled earlier this year. Per the *** creditors and/or debt collectors are not supposed to report inaccurate information. Instead of verifying if this account was truly unpaid, they reported this false information thus damaging my credit.

Phoenix Financial Services LLC called me last week and when I answered the call they advised they are calling in regards to my medical file and needed my date of birth. I did not recognize the name of the company and asked to verify themselves. They continued to repeat that they were calling in regards to my medical file and needed me to verify my date of birth. I do not know this company. I did not feel comfortable giving out my personal information and I asked for them to identify themselves and confirm which doctor's *** they were calling from. The woman on the phone was very irate at which then she said she was a debt collector and she knew my date of birth, which then she blurted out and said she was sending a collections letter.Attached is the collections letter that I received that same week. It states the current creditor is *** which I do not know who they are. I never sought medical attention from this company. When I tried to verify with the woman on phone what she was calling in reference to she hung up. I have seen other complaints from other people very recently complaining of the same exact thing. I believe this to be fraudulent. Please note they have been calling for several weeks prior to and when I answer the phone they just hang up. I would like for them to stop harassing me.

This collections notice appeared on my credit report, and I am certain that I do not owe this money. The feedback for the company in question, found on various consumer review platforms, indicates that multiple individuals have encountered similar issues with Phoenix Financial Services. I have communicated with my insurance agency, and they have confirmed that there is no record of any service provided to me that would result in a debt of $178. It is my belief that this company's practices are deceptive. I request that this entry be removed from my credit report without delay.

This business has the wrong number and person. They constantly call in-spite of the fact that I have told them the number belongs to my Veteran Wounded Warrior son who is brain injured and I am his Mother caregiver and Legal Guardian. This is harassment and illegal and yet they persist

15. U.S.C section 602 A states that I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C. section 604 A Section 2 indicates that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish an account without my written instruction. According to 15 U.S.C 1692C, without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt.

Phoenix Financial Services I received a letter from Phoenix Financial Services noted the debt I owned to EMP of Mecklenburg (medical ****)

I received a letter from Phoenix Financial Services noted the debt I owned to EMP of Mecklenburg (medical ***). I also received a notification from a credit bureau that the debt was now on my credit report. I contacted Phoenix financial services to make payment arrangements. I requested a payoff amount and was told the layoff was $792.00. I asked would I receive a letter confirming my settlement was paid once I issued the agreement amount of $792.00, and was told by ***, I would receive the settlement letter immediately. I paid the final installment of the debt ($400 first installment and $392 second installment) and havent received any correspondence or communication from the organization. I sent an email on 11/9 asking for the letter stating the debt was paid off and to remove the debt from my credit report. I didnt hear anything back from Phoenix Financial Services. I then called on 11/10, and spoke with ***, who said they sent an email to me. I informed her the email was never received and she said Well, whats the point of sending it again if you didnt receive it the first time? I repeatedly asked her to resend the email and to mail the settlement letter, confirming I paid off the agreed amount. *** said she didnt want to send another email because it was late.I am requesting that the letter stated the agreed amount was paid off and I am being denied this.

Phoenix Financial Services Upon having my wife do some research into this for me, Phoenix Financial has out of no where put me into collections over what it says is

Upon having my wife do some research into this for me, Phoenix Financial has out of no where put me into collections over what it says is medical costs that I never received, wouldn't be the first random company to try and tell me I owe them money since it's no where near where I live. The company they say I owe is listed as AHN Emergency Group of Erie CO. When we googled this company it comes up as Erie, PA. Now I am originally from New York but my drivers license can show you that I've been living in Florida for some time now, no where near PA. I did used to drive truck over the road up and down the east coast but if I had to go see a doctor ever it sure wouldn't be in PA when I could have just gone in my home town, my wife would never drive me all the way to PA to go to the ER. This company is saying that I had services done there from what we could see sometime in 2016, up until recently in my current town I'd not even been to a doctor at all for well over 5 or 6 years. I'm calling this charge false and fraud and it is affecting my credit and in a bad way since my wife and I are trying to get approved for a house. This caused my credit to drop from the 750 range to 600s for no reason at all and needs to be removed. We check our credit reports from time to time but only recently did I get an email notification from Experian that my credit dropped and when I checked we found this, and have no idea where it came from.

Phoenix Financial Services About a month ago, I received a call from someone who said they were with Phoenix Financial

About a month ago, I received a call from someone who said they were with Phoenix Financial. They were calling about a debt to some company I had never heard of in *** County, where I was not certain I had ever been. They did not indicate the date of the incident for which debt was accrued nor did they tell me the amount. If they had, I may have acknowledged and paid it immediately. They started asking me personal questions like my birthdate and I refused to answer (although they apparently already knew what it as because they stated it on the call). When I told them to send me a statement of the charges due, they hung up on me. A week or so later, I got a similar call and as soon as I refused to answer their questions, they hung up on me again. About three weeks later I received 3 different invoices (all for the same charges) from them and I paid it in less than a week. Once I saw the date, I knew it had to be related to a medical incident I had. The amount was $43.96. Two days later they reported the debt to Equifax and it dropped my (perfect) credit rating by 40 points. I opened a dispute with Equifx and provided them with screen captures where I had paid the debt days earlier (but it had not yet cleared my bnak). They denied my dispute and left the complain on my credit rating. Phoenix Financial are shysters. They are not trying to collect debt - they want to ruin people's credit without cause. I paid it on 3/16 and on 3/18, they dinged my credit rating.

Phoenix Financial Services After pulling a copy of my credit report I notice there was a collection agency on my report

After pulling a copy of my credit report I notice there was a collection agency on my report. They are trying to collect money from me in which I dont recall having a contract with this company so I sent them a letter certified with tracking number *** as I am aware under HIPAA law *** Portability and Accountability Act of ***) to protect my privacy and medical records from third parties. I do not recall giving permission to the hospital for them to release my medical information to a third party. I understand that HIPAA does allow for limited information about me but any details may only be revealed with the parties authorization. I requested for validation of debt and HIPAA authorization requesting a breakdown of fees including any and all collection costs and medical charges. I asked for them to also provide a copy of my signature with the provider of service to release my medical information to Phoenix Financial. I also asked that they cease any credit bureau reporting until debt has been validated by me. But instead of providing the information they in turn is still reporting and send me a letter showing proof that they did not send what was requested. I also informed them that withholding the information they receive from any medical provider in an attempt to be HIPAA compliant will be a violation of the *** because they will be deceiving me after I send in my written request that was clearly certified through the postal service. I am also aware that by them reporting this alleged debt to the credit bureaus prior to allowing me to validate it may be a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which can allow me to seek damages.

Phoenix Financial Services My name is [Name Redacted], a federally protected consumer, with a complaint against PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICES for violating

My name is [Name Redacted], a federally protected consumer, and I am making this complaint against PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICES for violating a cease and desist notice they received on 3/29/2022 and for continuing to invade my individual privacy by committing abusive, deceptive, and unfair debt collection practices. I have attached a debt validation letter, a Cease and Desist notice, Exhibit A and A(2) which is a copy of 2 accounts reporting on my Experian and Equifax consumer reports and a pdf of an FTC report that will be labelled as Exhibit B when filing for litigation in Federal Court to this complaint. Also, pursuant 15 USC 1692g(c), I have not validated any alleged debt with PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE and my failure to dispute the validity of these alleged debts shall not be constructed as an admission of liability. As of 4/06/2022, I have not received any documentary evidence, such as a trilateral contract, giving PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE any right to collect on any alleged debt. It is my belief that PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE are attempting unlawful extortionate activities and theft by deception by attempting to furnish false and deceptive forms. I have never received any documentation requesting validation from PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE before they committed multiple violations under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau by furnishing this alleged debt to my consumer report. If PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE cannot provide me with proof such as a tracking number or a copy of green card certified mail receipt with my wet signature of acceptance, and that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing it on my consumer report, these have been fraudulently furnished accounts with forethought and malice as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation.

Phoenix Financial Services Phoenix Financial Services sent me a letter on 06/06/2022 saying i owed a debt that i had no knowledge of

Phoenix Financial Services sent me a letter on 06/06/2022 saying i owed a debt that i had no knowledge of. I responded to them with a letter dated 06/15/2022 and certified asking for the original document with my signature showing me where this alleged debt came from. They in turn sent me a letter and INVOICE (not original document)LATE not within the 30 day time frame dated 07/12/2022 trying to say this was there proof which we all know by law that is not proper proof of a debt. I responded back to them with a letter dated 07/16/2022 asking for the document again and instead of them providing me with what i asked they reported it on my credit report! I have reported them to the *** and provided proof of their wrong doings. Im trying to figure out who is responsible for making sure they abide by the laws because thats what the laws were put in place for. I have never done business with this company nor have i ever heard of them and i DO NOT OWE THEM ANYTHING! However they are being allowed to tarnish my good name and credit! This needs to be handled! They even lied and said they never received my first letter to them and i sent it certified as well! This Is PREDATORY! And unacceptable! And they trying to make me pay $1,059.00! Since you are 3rd party, they have no rights to collect anything from the alleged debtor since there is no way you can prove you were on any original contract. Familiarize yourself with 73 AmJur, 2nd, Section 90. You have no right to "subrogate" (substitute) yourself into a contract, whether it is by purchase, assignment, transfer, or trade. If you "bought" the debt, you did it on your own behalf, not at the request of any alleged debtor, and therefore are a "stranger to the transaction" (voluntary payee). This is crazy what you guys let these companies get away with! THIS NEEDS TO BE DELETED FROM MY CREDIT REPORT IMMEDIATELY! PHOENIX REFERENCE #

I checked my credit reports and noticed I had 3 collections from PHOENIX FINANCIAL SE that was opened on April 05, 2022 for $839.00, $492.00, & $442.00 that I do not recall and am not liable for. I never entered into any signed agreement or completed an original contract with them. Neither have I received any emails or letters about this alleged debt. This is fraudulent and a violation of my rights as well as my HIPPA rights. Pursuant 15 USC 1692g(c), I have not validated any alleged debt with PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE and my failure to dispute the validity of these alleged debts shall not be constructed as an admission of liability. I have not received any documented evidence, such as a any contract or agreement, giving PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE any right to collect on any alleged debt. It is to my knowledge that PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE are attempting unlawful activities and theft by deception by attempting to furnish false and deceptive forms. Once again, I have never received any documentation requesting validation from PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE before they committed multiple violations under the *** act and violating my HIPPA rights by furnishing this alleged debt to my credit consumer reports. These inaccurate collections are not mine. If you believe these account are mine, prove the validity. I would like all collection activity to cease immediately and for these inaccurate and fraudulent collection accounts to be removed from my credit reports or I will file for litigation and report you IMMEDIATELY. If PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERVICE cannot provide me with ANY proof such as a tracking number or a copy of a green card certified mail receipt with my wet signature of acceptance or medical records, and that they attempted to lawfully validate this alleged debt with me, the consumer, prior to furnishing it on my consumer credit reports, these have been fraudulently furnished accounts with spitefulness as an attempt to bring harm to me and my financial reputation.

Phoenix Financial Services This is a formal complaint against PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERV located in INDIANAPOLIS, IN

This is a formal complaint against PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERV located in INDIANAPOLIS, IN. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable collection account on all 3 of my credit reports and not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have refused to validate per my request under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for nearly a year now, PHOENIX FINANCIAL SERV has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit reports. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical collection practices - disguising themselves under multiple business names and using ILLEGAL collection practices all across the country. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon. As previously stated, this collection company is reporting erroneous, derogatory information about me to all three major *** which is killing my credit & my Professional image. They've refused to send any proof of their claim because they have none since this account has never even existed. Therefore, my only wish is to have them permanently remove the account they're reporting about me from the 3 major credit bureaus, as well as from their own r

Phoenix Financial Services Dispute with Phoenix Financial Services, LLC over failure to notify

The basis for my dispute with Phoenix Financial Services, LLC, and its CEO, was their failure to notify me prior to 06/07, or within 30 days thereafter. They did not inform me about reporting negative information to Equifax as required by section 603(p) 15 U.S.C. ss 1681s-2(a)(7)(A)(I). They also violated commercial law by not providing notices through dated certified mail as claimed. My requests for documentation were ignored. Furthermore, they did not provide the legally required notice five days before adding the derogatory item to my credit reports, violating Section 809 of the FDCPA, which allows for $1000 per violation and the possibility of treble damages. They also failed to send initial communication before reporting the derogatory status, breaching the FDCPA. Penalties for these actions can reach up to $2500, enforceable by federal authorities, with additional enforcement by the state attorney general for $1000. I have attached the relevant law and document from the federal reserve, holding Phoenix Financial Services, LLC accountable for defamation. In the cited case law, a creditor collecting their own debt is deemed a debt collector under the FDCPA.
