Bad Costumer Service
I placed an order around 8pm, I waited and waited because I know sometimes it takes time for the delivery, but something told me to call around 9:02pm, I speak to one of the workers that asked for my number she was able to pull the order up with the number I gave her but then tells me oh we tried calling you because your a new costumer, so I replied no I’m not a new costumer maybe you have my old number on my file so I ho ahead and give her the old number and she stated yes we call that number, but then I asked her how were you able to pull up my order with the number I gave you but you called my old number that makes no sense, she brushed it off and said would you like to reorder and I was like of course my kids are hungry, she then tells me if it will take 30-40 min by this time it’s already 9pm,I was like is there anyway that this can be sooner because you guys called the wrong number that’s not my fault, her response was like no that’s the time frame, I said can I speak to the manager, she placed me on hold and then the manager gets on the phone she starts talking without asking me what’s going on and then wouldn’t let me speak, so I told her my side of the story finally but it didn’t make any difference to her even after I explained to that it’s not my fault that they had the incorrect number on file because I never received a call to my new number and they stated the called my old number but were able to pull my information with the number I first gave which is my correct number stating that I was a new client, now how does it make sense if I’m a new client you would call the new number not the old number that I’ve placed orders with in the past, so when I seen I was not getting anywhere with the manager I told her f*** you and hung up.
Quick and ugly
I used this app for the first time tonight, and while it only took 5 minutes to complete a complex order (5 toppings, some specifically on just half made it two halves of completely different pizza) and wings and some twisted pepperoni items.
However, the menu interface is AWFUL, and instead if presented with a clear list, it appears on a never ending scroll wheel and gives the impression that the categories NEVER END!
There are several instances of tiny checkboxes that refuse to respond. Three toppings REFUSED to be assigned a LEFT/RIGHT side via checkboxes, and I had to stop and completely enter 5 toppings again.
Payment was simple enough, and I was not required to create an account to make a speedy order.
I have used the PapaJohn's app 18 times in the past year, and while its menu category navigation is as bad but in a different way, the experience on PapaJohn app is more straightforward from beginning to end.
This PIZZA HUT APP works, but it won't pretty and isn't so clear to get started. I just suggest picking things, EVERYTHINg at random, and eventually you may build an order that you like to place--which is very easy and straightforward AFTER you've created the order items themselves.
One last though:
While the "classic/bone-in-crispy/boneless-crispy" selection was EXCELLENT with graphics useful graphics of items to guide, the GOOFY ANIMATION OF POURING SAUCE ON THE WINGS is silly and wasteful of your developer's time and talent. SPEND YOUR DEVELOPMENT TIME AND MONEY ON MAKING A "start order" TO "menu" transition that MAKES SENSE and invites users with MULTIPLE ITEMS ON THE SCREEN to choose from--not some stupid slot-machine looking endless wheel or worthlessness!

Location services stink
Recently learned of a new Pizza Hut in my town and after playing hell on the mobile site, I found out it will not even allow me to request the desktop site. I learned after sometime of their app. Thought that would better until I learned that signing up for the "hut lovers" rewards I would get free cheese sticks. Even that didn't work. I finally had to call them and place my order over the phone. When I finally went back to the website to complain, there is absolutely no way to find locations, phone numbers, tech support or anything on the site, even when looking through the site map. Completely useless website. After finally downloading the app, I was able to sign in. Once done however it took a long time to figure out how to find a store and add it as my home store. Very hard to find to say the least. I then went to update all my info for the "reorder" function. All of it worked except that when I tried to add my address and save it, it would give me an error about location services. I toggled location services for the app, toggled locations services itself, restarted my phone, deleted and redownloaded the app all to no avail. Pizza Hut really needs to gather some Intel about how they are offering their marketing to its customers! In this digital age where just about anything can be found online or in an app, they seem to take there time to NOT BE FOUND. Please update the app and website to allow more convenient access to searching and finding locations, finding our location, AND, if offering deals and promos for customers you want to "sign up", then I suggest you will want to get that rolling too on your servers. Otherwise nobody will want to order or deal with you again and you will lose business. It's no wonder so many of the franchises have closed down!
Absolutely disappointed. 1 star no doubt
I order from my local Pizza Hut all of the time. I always have an abundance of reward points to use for certain items alongside my purchases. As I attempted to process my order today on this app, it was charging me for the 8 piece boneless wings (which are 125 point) when I had 182 points to use. I called my local Pizza Hut store who then transferred me over to customer service. I was told that all I needed to do was to go ahead and process the order and pay for the wings and I could be reimbursed when I reached the store. So I did just that only to be mislead because when I arrived to the store, I was told bu the two workers up front that since my order was already fully processed, there was nothing they could do about my points nor could they reimburse me because one of the workers had already processed the order when I came to pick up my order. The bad part is that another employee behind the counter informed them that this exact situation happened to another customer just two days prior. I attempted to call the Hut Rewards line to speak with someone for further help, but they are closed on weekends unfortunately. Before I attempted to complete my order, I selected other item to redeem my points for and it worked perfectly fine and wasn’t trying to charge me. It was only trying to charge me (and did charge me) for the wings even though I selected them through the “redeem points” section of the app. So hopefully this situation is handled correctly when this week starts when I contact the rewards department. If not, no matter how minor the inconvenience, I’ll never order from Pizza Hut as a company again. Because at the end of the day, an inconvenience is still an inconvenience. I spend my money to build up points to use fairly only to be cheated by the very app.
Needs a severe overhaul !
I have tried several times to use the app. It never works ! The last time I tried I wanted to get the two supreme pizza offer. I could not get it to go. I called my Pizza Hut. They said , Sorry, we are not aware cannot give any Toweb offers over the phone. Tonight I am trying to get the 10.00 stuffed crust, 3 topping deal. First, you keep telling me you can’t find my address. I am using the one that you have in saved addresses. You have been here before. Do you really want to increase your business? I just want to order a pizza. Dominos is fast delivery but I like Pizza Hut better. So I am going to have to call Papa Johns. Will give you another chance first. I just want to get the advertised special in the email. A large stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni, onions, and green peppers on half, pepperoni, onions and mushrooms on the other half. September 7, 2022. I am again having difficulty with the app. I thought I hit delivery button to start. My address came up on the screen. I went through and ordered the dinner box. Pizza, breadsticks, and cinnamon sticks. I also ordered 6 bone in chicken wings and a blue cheese sauce. In going to the checkout, I noticed it was saying I was going to pick the order up. I tried to go back and change to delivery. The app said I may lose the order by changing to delivery. When I did go back, it could not find my address. I had to go back in to add my address. When I did I noticed that my checkout still had my 3 items in there. I put on my card info and tip, but when I tried to send, it said said it needed the color of my car and did not go. I tried to remove everything and start again. Still not working. Finally, I just called the store and placed the order. No reward points.

I recently sent feedback about the local poor service based on they never delivered our order and I called to ask what happened and was told we could come pick it up which we understand things happen so we went to pick it up as we are huge Pizza Hut fans but they still got the order wrong (no breadsticks) which we paid for and ended up being 2 hours later with a houseful of hungry kids. We received 2 free pizza coupons which we all high fived saying they love their customers. One store pushed back and said we can’t honor but said we will honor (802 south aspen broken arrow ok) and said you can only use these for the store that you originated the complaint from. I told the store owner I would keep the coupon and use both free pizzas on the store I complained against but I they said no we want all customers happy. I had 1 left coupon to use on the place that messed up our order and is the final reason I will never use Pizza Hut again (3321 south elm place broken arrow ok 74012) as we ordered the last free pizza plus an extra pizza, breadsticks and a 2 liter. The person on the phone took my order and I said I had a free pizza coupon, she asked for the code and I told her it was from corporate, she said just bring it here. Well it didn’t work again so sending crap coupons that stores don’t take adds to my original frustration and just escalated my dissatisfaction in Pizza Hut. I’m giving you one last chance to keep a lifelong Pizza Hut fan as I’m ready to make a change and share experience with everyone I know. Details of today’s order, it was from [protected] and the order was under Andi Denny. I look forward to see how our relation ends/remains. I would prefer a call to [protected] vs sending another crap coupon that doesn’t work if you want to keep me as a customer. If not, I’m done forever.

Worst mgt both Joes are clueless on how to deal with mistakes was told that I was to blame and that no freebies would be available. Never asked for freebies but would like service and not sure why they continue to not provide delivery when using app but have been ordering Friday nights since I was young and now my kids enjoy pizza Friday and will be looking to conduct my business where it is appreciated and please inform Joe Regional Manager that my address was not incorrectly imputed and this continues to be a problem due to the lack of attention and communication and needs to be fix to the best of your ability or just quit if your not going to provide service in my area. As a representative of Pizza Hut he was clear nothing would be done and no form of compensation nor resolution and he would no longer deal with me.. and I had to fix the problem on my side.. my address is not as he said “rd” it is “blvd” and when I asked if he was wrong he felt that I was just too much trouble and he was incapable of handling my order and would not understand that I paid and would like a pizza or my money to get a new order and I was told I would not get my refund right away nor will he provide the pizza and now my card was charged amd I can not get a pizza till the money is returned he explained till Monday. He understood but had no compassion and would recommend looking into the authority he seems to take as a representative and next time I am harassed by him I will take legal actions and if you want to train properly please ask the dove Pizza Hut [protected] to assist as I have in the past to learn how to respect the long devoted customer especially when it has been a problem in the past or continued problem.. they have gone above and beyond and I feel conflicted not wanting to put my money in a business that will allow such disregard but then again it seems that Joe is the only one incompetent but you be the judge.
Didn’t deliver my PiZzA!
I work 12hr days and I thought it would be nice to have some pizza when I got off around 10:00pm. I opened the Pizza Hut app and ordered a pizza at my local franchise for my family. I settled in and opened up a blog I enjoy as we waited about 30min for the pizza to arrive. No one came so after 30min I opened the app to view the progress of my order. The status read “delivered”. I was utterly confused as my family and I were sitting pizza-less in our living room. I figured now it was time to call the store. I assume the number listed online was for Pizza Hut customer service because The person who answered was at a call center. I filled him in on my situation and he said he would be right back as he put me on hold. Next thing I know another man answers and says “hello?” and nothing else. I explain that I was just speaking with someone and I must have been transferred. The man on the other end said something to the effect of “ I’m the only one in the store so there couldn’t have been anyone else you were talking to” confusedly. At this point I gathered that I had been transferred to the store so I explained to the man on the line that I had ordered a pizza about 45 min ago and the app says it was delivered but it never showed up. He asked my name and then told me that he tried to call me twice to tell me they wouldn’t deliver my pizza because they didn’t have any drivers. I confirmed my cell phone number with him then I pointed out the fact that I hadn’t received any calls from him and I was reading a blog on my phone the entire time I was waiting for my pizza to be delivered so I probably would have noticed if it he had in fact called me. I’m not going to call and wait on hold for an hour to talk to somebody about this. It’s pizza. Unfortunately This is the second Pizza Hut I have been to that had displayed sub par customer service therefore I will no longer continue to be a patron of your restaurant chain. In the real world no show no call gets you fired.
Issues
I was having troubles using my rewards. I started an order online but forgot to change it to delivery instead of carry out and when I did change it I couldn’t utilize my rewards because it said there was a hit reward in progress and I couldn’t remove it! I logged out of the website and logged into the app thinking this would fix the issue… nope! So then I called the hut rewards 800 number…. The man told me to delete and reinstall the app (it’s begun to turn into a hassle at this point) so I do and it lets me use my rewards after multiple issues getting the app to recognize my address, it kept auto populating California, I’m in Colorado! Once that was resolved, I placed the pizza onto my order with my rewards and went to order wings (not using a DEAL or REWARD) and it kept giving me an error! I asked the rep what to do… I was told unfortunately all he could do was escalate my issue to the escalation team… Seriously, how does this help w my order in the moment. It’s not like an issue w an issue that can wait to be handled at a later date, my family wanted pizza and we’ve accumulated enough points over time that we should be able to use them hassle free! Apparently that thought process is not correct. I should abandon our dinner plans and wait til the escalation team reaches out to resolve my issue. My family and I should wait until tomorrow or the next day to eat.
What if those points were all my family & I had to be able to get food tonight? We’d be expected to wait days for a resolution and perhaps just not eat.
The app is glitching I was told. It’s not working properly therefore I couldn’t use my rewards nor could I place the order w a rep because that’s not an option. Pizza Hut needs to fix the redemption of rewards tool online and on the app and if/when there’s issues such as this they need to make it optional for reps to place the order for you and b able to redeem ur points for u as well! All of this was a huge hassle! I am beyond frustrated. As you can tell my this lengthy review!
Hut Rewards issue
I have been a member of hut rewards for about 5 years now. At 1st I would just order my pizza and skip past joining the rewards process until I realized how much I actually order Pizza Hut and that maybe being a member would be great for me. Well I had never had any issues with the website or the app when it came to applying my points to my rewards account until recently. I went to log into my account because I knew it was about that time for me to get my free medium pizza which I was looking forward to for my kids. I tried to log in and got the same error code over and over and over. I then decided to maybe try another browser to log in thinking it had something to do with my browser (although I had never had issues before) still same problem. So I called the customer service hotline. I spoke with a lady who proceeded to walk me through the exact same steps I already had went through and still the same results I could not log in. At this point I’m pretty upset because I have spent soooo much money with Pizza Hut and I look forward to my free pizza reward every now and then (I was actually on my 10 one in just one year and no telling how many since I’ve signed up) anyways I was told I would get an email when the problem was fixed. I then got the email was told to reset my password and try after that. This had me mad because I had already tried that. So anyway I used link to reset password that they sent still nothing. This has been about a month now of me trying to get into my account and not being able to. Not only that I’ve had to just order pizza as a guest and not receive rewards at all. Idk what’s on and clearly they don’t either but what I assume it is, is the fact that I had received so many free pizzas that they decided they weren’t going to let me participate anymore. Idk I could be wrong but either way this has been a huge dilemma for me and I’m now deciding to no longer participate nor order with then anymore. not sure if anyone else had this dilemma but this is my experience and it’s kinda heartbreaking.
Absolutely HORRIBLE Customer Service
I joined their “Pizza Hut Rewards” and I had accumulated enough “rewards points” to get a free medium ANY pizza per the rewards program. When I attempted to order online via the Pizza Hut app and buy one pizza and also get my free rewards points pizza, the app would not let me do so. I then called the phone number that Pizza Hut has listed on their app and was told that their app was undergoing maintenance and I was then directed to go onto my internet browser and do my order online to get my free pizza. When I did so, their website also would not let me put in my order. I then called the phone number for my local Pizza Hut to place the order that way. However, my call was not answered by my local Pizza Hut, rather it was routed to some “call center.” After informing the lady about my issues with ordering she put her supervisor on the line, who rudely told me that I wouldn’t be able to get my rewards points pizza tonight (even though it was NO fault of mine). I then informed her that we wouldn’t be buying ANY pizza tonight since they wanted to be that way. I completely understand that app maintenance must occur sometimes, but would it not be much more logical to perform such AFTER regular business hours? And, upon realizing that the problems lay within THEIR computer systems, I feel like the proper way to handle this situation from a customer relations standpoint would have been to offer us the medium pizza for free, or to give it to me and deduct the appropriate points from my rewards account at a later date. But getting rude and smart-assed with me was definitely NOT the proper way to handle this, and we refuse to let other people dictate how and when and where we can spend our hard-earned money. Do they not realize that we went to their restaurant because we CHOSE to do so, and not because there aren’t many other places to eat that would appreciate our business? We are going to have to seriously reflect on how we were treated tonight before we ever give any business to Pizza Hut in the future.

This app stinks. It’s the worst user interface I’ve come across but the employees at our local Pizza Hut are so incompetent we have no other choice but to use the app. Not to mention you simply can’t get through to them on the phone.
Today we decided to place an order for delivery but changed our minds about delivery at the end when we saw the ridiculous delivery charge and the notation that it wasn’t a driver tip. When we decided to switch to pickup, it wasn’t as easy as tapping a button. No. You tap a button and get a warning that if you do this, you run the risk of losing your entire order and having to start over from the beginning. It actually tells you you’re probably going to have to start over if you change your mind about how you want to get your food. I guess points for honesty but still. Anyway I went through the process and was happy to see my cart was still full but was glad I reviewed my order because some items had been removed. I had to then add some new items to make my order meet the requirements for the deal it had previously met, then delete an additional item once my final order was completed. Ridiculous. But regardless, I’m finally done. Right? All set up and ready? Set for pickup? Yeah? No. The app is still totaling my order with the delivery charge, even tho it’s showing as a carry out order.
Moreover, you cannot call the store. Or ANY STORE in my area. You get the friendly Pizza Hut girl recording who puts you on hold, then the sound of electricity. I was in the upside down for more than six minutes before I hung up. The reason I called? I wanted my medium pepperoni pizza with only HALF pepperoni, but the crappy app didn’t allow me to choose that option. At least not today.
This app STINKS, and frankly, if we didn’t have children who like the novelty of Pizza Hut, because that’s all Pizza Hut really is these days - novelty pizza - we’d never order this crap again. What a load of trouble to go through for overpriced sub-par food! Absolutely ridiculous.

This App is sooooo much better than their original (awful ) App! I'm so glad they took the time to "fine tune" their App into something User-Friendly.
The ONLY reason we continue to order from PHut (far more frequently than we did in years past) is because their App is FINALLY useable, it saves info/order history (for reorders) and it is EASY TO NAVIGATE.

Lately every attempt I make to add anything under special instructions for each pizza order (usually under $5-$6 deals/build your own/thin & crispy/cheese or w/pepperoni) I used to always type [PLZ CUT DOUBLE SKNY SLICES] so my kids never tale more than they can eat but my message deletes itself EVERY SINGLE TIME NOW. This needs to be fixed so I changed my rating back down to 3 for now.
We order pizza once a month so I’ll check back next order and modify my rating back to 5 stars once this has been corrected.
PS. @Developers, I always make sure to select next & done after adding special instructions as I know backing out of it will not save it. If you create an order and select edit at checkout, you’ll see the note is gone every time. Even after adding the note again, it only stayed with 1 of the 2 pizzas (after adding it separately to both) and ultimately disappeared at checkout despite several attempts to edit. Just want you to know I made several attempts over my last 3+ orders before making mention so I know this is more likely a bug than user error. I promise. Thanks for fixing this ASAP. It’s a pain in the 8zz trying to cut extra slices myself because my pizza cutter from the store is never sharp enough.
ALSO... I know many food sellers have taken it upon themselves to calculate a recommended tip for various percentages - but doing so based on the total (including tax & delivery) is deceptive and customers don’t appreciate it. Pizza Hut should reconsider this because your drivers are getting shorted by customers rounding down with a custom tip when they can’t rely on your calculations. I won’t rate the app functionality on this because I’m plenty good at figuring out the right tip for each purchase but wanted to make mention.

HORRIBLE
This is the worst app for food I've ever used. It's SUPER slow but also, it will charge you and then tell you that you entered your credit card information incorrectly. It shouldn't even be available for download until it's fixed. It's so glitchy and unreliable. I put in my credit card information (and got charged) 3 times and even used two different cards. If I entered my credit card information incorrectly, then how did you charge me THREE times?! Luckily I got refunded the money instantly, but still. I wasted so much time getting a large order ready just to be constantly denied an order due to YOUR app. I prefer using an app on my phone because all of the information is saved. Whenever I try to call any of your stores, I get forwarded to an out-of-state Pizza Hut hotline who is clueless as to help me with anything. They tell me I need to talk to my local store. Well, that's the number I'm calling and you all feel it is necessary to send my phone call to some place not even local! Then you have to wait for your call to be transferred and listen to their "hold music/deals" for 10 minutes before an actual employee picks up. So, I decided to use the desktop version of your site to order and what do you know...no crust flavors. Crust flavors are available only on the app. Really? I keep trying to give you all a chance over and over and I almost always end up so dissatisfied. They've even sent a new delivery driver out to my work but the new driver got lost and "scared" that he decided to just turn around and go back to the Pizza Hut. NO ONE contacted me. He never even called me to help him find it. So I'm wondering why it's taken almost 2 hours to deliver my pizza. I wait 10 minutes to get connected to a real employee and they said "Oh yeah, our new driver couldn't find your location so he just came back. You can come pick it up." I'm sorry...what? No one even told me my cold pizza is just sitting there at the shop and that it wasn't going to be delivered. And I have to pick it up? I paid for delivery? Why do I have to leave my job in the middle of my shift to go pick up pizza when it was THEIR mistake? And now the app is just another waste of time and inconvenience. I'm sticking with the great apps and customer service of PAPA JOHNS & DOMINO'S.
My history with Pizza Hut!
I regularly order pizza from the hut. I have never been more satisfied with a major pizza chain. When I was a child we were very well off. One of our many live in chefs would make us a hand tossed pizza baked in a brick oven anytime we wanted. It was every morbidly obese child’s dream. Long story short my father, due to some unfortunate business dealings with uncle Escobar, lost his entire fortune and spent the rest of his life in a medium security Illuminati controlled prison camp. Needless to say from that point on life was quite difficult. I spent my life on the run always looking over my one good shoulder. When you’re trying not to get caught by agents of shadow government and you have zero money it’s hard to maintain the same standard of custom pizza cheffery you enjoyed in the past. Long story short as a result of all the running and hiding and hiding and more running I withered from an enormous jelly roll of a butter ball of a spoiled child to an emaciated Gollum like creature. Several years ago I was able to sneak into the U.S. from Canada through an elaborate tunnel system that ran under Niagara Falls. Well not directly under the falls. It was a little to the left. I was able to find work as a door to door vacuum cleaner salesman and part time VP of sales at Samsung. That may sound like two different jobs but it was actually one position. Actually it used to be two but do to some corporate restructuring as a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement it became one position. Anyway, long story short, I was able to create a personal budget in which my dining budget consisted solely of delivery and or carry out. After trying a selection of, I don’t want to say fast food, because that makes it sound cheap and below my new found station in life. Let’s call it rapid cuisine. Anyway, to make a long story short, I discovered Pizza Hut! The flakey crust, fresh green peppers, and savory meats triggered a very vivid sense memory of the custom pizza creations that I loved as a elephanticious youngster. Needless to say that thanks to Pizza Hut and the ever so convenient app I’ve been able to eat their delightful rapid cuisine daily and sometimes I even order boneless chicken wings with a side a bones, but not chicken bones. Pizza Hut’s reckless lack of nutrition and extraordinarily high caloric values I’ve been able to regain my impressive former physique.

I NEVER order just pizza...in fact, one of the primary reasons I often order pizza delivered by Pizza Hut is because I can get salad, which, for some reason, most of the others do not offer. In addition to pizza and salad, I also typically order cinnamon sticks, which are also not available via this app. Though wings are listed as a menu option on this app, the selection is grayed out, meaning you cannot select it to order. My biggest criticism and, therefore request, is that the developers add the full Pizza Hut menu.
Another suggestion for the developers is that they put the specialty pizzas, e.g., supreme, super supreme, etc., at the beginning of the ingredient list--or in a separate place--so you know they are available for you to select. Otherwise, you have no way of knowing that specialty pizzas are even available via this app because as it is currently configured, you have to scroll through all of the individual ingredients before you see the specialty options. I guess after you have started to select the ingredients for whatever specialty pizza you want the very first time you use this app, you might find the specialty pizzas at the very end of the ingredient list if the ingredients you want go that deeply into the list, but it would still be better if they were more clearly listed or at the beginning of the ingredient list.
Another issue with having to scroll through the ingredient list to get to the specialty pizzas is that you often end up selecting ingredients--at least I did--because to scroll through the ingredient options, you put your finger/stylus on the ingredients, often causing them to be added to the list. If you are very careful and put your finger/stylus on another portion of the scroll list, it is possible to avoid selecting an ingredient, but you have to be very careful, irrespective of whether you are scrolling to the end of the list in search of a specialty pizza or even if you are simply scrolling through the list selecting the ingredients you want. Perhaps using radio buttons or checkboxes would be better options for selecting one's favorite ingredients, similarly to how the pizzahut.com website is set up.
I think the best way to make the majority of your iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhone customers happy, though, would be to add the full menu. If you do that, I will become a frequent user (and I will update my rating.)

buggy, but gets (most of) the job done
The UI has been improved somewhat since I last tried to use and reviewed this app, and now it seems to do most of what it needs to do, though the developers clearly had ambitions for it that they didn’t have the skills to quite flesh out.
I found the fact that I was asked to choose a crust flavor kind of odd, and a little confusing because there is an otherwise unidentified “hut favorite“, which I would assume was a normal plain crust, but apparently it isn’t, because there’s also a “no crust flavor“ option – which is also an odd choice (would any food establishment want to describe any of its products as having “no flavor“?). and I wasn’t 100% sure that choosing “no crust flavor“ would get me any crust at all, but I figure it must because otherwise the pizza would be kind of a mess.
I experienced the weird payment problems that another user described wherein one is asked to provide a credit card number one has already provided; it turns out that just deleting the last digit and retyping it will suffice to convince the payment panel that a credit card number has been added. This may have happened because I entered my card information by taking a picture of the card, but I’m not sure.
The screen that pops up at the end offering to let you save your order is also a shambles. There is what appears to be a drop-down menu that I guess you’re supposed to use to choose your preferred payment method for your saved order (because it says “cash” under it by default), but when you tap it to drop it down, it brings up not the expected scrollable list of payment methods, but the keyboard. It makes no sense. And because you can’t exit this screen without choosing a payment method, and you can’t choose a payment method, the only way to get out of this screen is to quit the app altogether.
i’ve also just verified what another reviewer said: that the app provides a button for leaving feedback about the app, and that it doesn’t work. Not surprising, considering the kind of feedback they must be consistently getting about this app, to judge from the reviews here on the App Store. What I don’t understand is how the app has a rating of 4+ stars when 95% of the reviewers give it one star.
I was also surprised to be notified about five minutes after I placed my order that my order was out for delivery. I find this highly unlikely as it takes them about 15 minutes to make the pizza I ordered when I go to the restaurant. I’m still waiting for the order to be delivered now, so I guess we’ll just have to see. further bulletins as events warrant...
Well what do you know? Strange as it seems, my order was indeed out for delivery, and has just arrived. And it’s correct! So overall I guess my first foray into ordering pizza hut through the app has been a success. yay!
Online app 2021 to get deals that are on tv ads as well
Omg it’s ridiculous that you are going to be setting up a app and everything is not going to work for you to get to order and pay and all the way you are supposed to be able to do and you have been able to pay and all after I’ve been done ordering the deal I’d like and all that the app would be making the order and it’s going to be curbside and I don’t know what exactly the problem was and app put order in a Ellsworth In Maine in the USA. The app is exhausting and it’s really going to be awhile for whoever is going to be doing it and it’s going to make you reorder again for the app mistakes and it’s been at least 30min to try to get to setup the app and account for hut rewards for not being necessary for the app or the rewards app I was unable to get to not be able to to opt out of texts they are going to send 5x a month and charges are going to apply
Seriously then I’ve been able to get to make sure that I have ordered the things and deal that I have redone for each of the different possibilities and they took my order and I paid for the pizza and they were all going to be almost done and then the next step was to confirm that I was going to be using curbside pick up and I was going to drive up to the window for my order for the simple reason I needed to get the deal to make sure that I was going to be able to get to order the things that we were supposed be able to order and it’s a better deal for each customer to make a call and then go to get the order for the pizza deal or go to Pizza Hut location to make a order for the pizza deal and then it’s simple to order it and pay for then come get carry out order for the pizza deal and then you’re able to get the pizza and make a payment for the pizza order deal
Otherwise it’s going to be a difficult time for you to make sure that you’re going to get to set up the app and account for hut deals for the things that you’re going to be able to be less than it’s stated that you’re able to get help with the situation or just call Pizza Hut or visit them to get help with the situation and they

I was charged for this order and the order was cancelled. I never received a phone call or email. I called the next day and ask for the manager, but she wasn't available. I had to call back and ask for Cynthia around10 am. I did and Cynthia said she would resolve and call me back. Cynthia never called back, and I had to call back the next business day. Cynthia said my order was send to Dash system and it was easier for her to send me the order again instead of a refund. It's very inconvenient since I'm home late and she leave before I arrive home. On 02-05-24 at 5:15 p.m. I went to the broadway pizza hut, bangor, maine, after waiting 15-20 minutes a staff member finally approached and asked if I had been helped. I then told the staff what I wanted and they said approx. 25-30 minutes. Upon return I gave them ny name and they checked, could not find my order and then told me that it had been given to another customer and did I want their order. I said no to just forget the whole thing I'll go somewhere else. They appeared to be short staffed as they usually are. after investing 45 minutes of my time all I got was a sorry. No offer of a discount or anything other than the other customers order. This store is usually understaffed but product is very good so tolerate the wait. probably won't try again for awhile if ever. just to frustrating!

I made an online delivery order with the Pizza Hut establishment on January 13, 2024, at approximately 5:00 p.m. The order stated delivery on my app, but after waiting for over 15 minutes with no delivery, I contacted the store and was told that the order was for carryout. Well, it was impossible for me to pick it up, so I asked if they could change it to delivery. They explained that they had to forward me to the front counter for the change. I have a lot of patience, but after being on hold three times over an hour, my patience ran out. I want to cancel and have my funds refunded. After finally getting in touch with someone after about 6 or 7 calls, the clerk stated my order was canceled and Pizza Hut could not refund me because it was paid via Apple Pay. Pizza hut store poor delivery customer service
I ordered pizza the last three times it has been wrong it took three and a half hours I was not reimbursed the food was not reimbursed the manager would not answer the phone to the store it's horrible it's an ongoing situation especially with the store here in Belton Missouri that's where I have the issues it's ridiculous I got hung up on I got told no that I couldn't get remade food because the store wouldn't answer the phone it happened so often it's crazy

If you want to order one of their standard pre-selected pizzas no problem, but if you want to redeem your points, make your own pizza, or use one of their deals you are are screwed! One of many flaws is how under the deals for $5+ pick 2 or more items when doing a create your own pizza you cannot change the amount of sauce or select toppings on only half the pizza. Why? Also please Pizza Hut explain why if I redeem my points (as if the app ever actually lets you constant error messages and something went wrong messages) I then cannot get delivery despite buying other items. It is beyond idiotic that I basically have to buy a full price pizza so that I can redeem my points for a free pizza. Fix this!

I’m not sure why I didn’t quit
I started an order on the website. The field for my email would not allow me to edit, which was a required field. Unable to complete my order, I downloaded the app.
The app has deals that were obviously fake (2 3-topping pizzas w/ bread and dessert for $9.99). The order funnels you to build a large pizza. I would have been annoyed if the delivery arrived with one pizza, no bread and cookie...
The app can’t import card information saved on the phone. The import tool didn’t recognize my Chase card, so I had to dust off my data entry skills from last decade.
Even as I type this review, my text of this message. I can’t believe I actually forced my way through all of the red flags and gave these people my credit card info...

App never works
I always get some error or another on this useless app. Ordered dominos instead and it took less than 2 minutes to order from that app. Update your crappy app, and get your website consistent with the app! For crying out loud you guys are a major corporation, you’d figure you guys would have the time and resources to figure out how to provide a stable app and be consistent between the app and your website. For example, on the website you cannot order crust flavors, whereas on the app it is a built in question when building a pizza. Today it gave me some error about not being able to submit the order, and to log in again. I logged in again and it still wouldn’t submit. This is not the first time I’ve had an error like this.

App functions just fine overall, the only problem is that the error messages are super unhelpful. “oops something went wrong” is not helpful. I was trying to order a personal pan and would continually get this message when pressing the add to order button. Eventually I just got a different size and it worked fine. Then, at the checkout, it would not let me submit and pay because it said I needed to enter all my contact info. All my contact info was there, the problem was with curbside pickup and the color of my car. The error did not say anything about that. The “other” option is in the list of colors, but will not let you submit with that color even though the color of my car is not terribly uncommon (pink). It’s not in the list nonetheless. Please fix. These issues were super frustrating.

I placed my order on the Pizza Hut app for delivery. I double checked as I normally do, that it was delivery. I also put 15% tip.
I finally called the location to check on the delivery & the lady told me that it had been ready for over an hour. I asked her why they hadn’t delivered it & she said it was for pick up.
I checked my order again on the app and it said delivery.
After asking for the manager on duty the lady on the phone told me they could remake everything for delivery and I would have to pay again over the phone. She said that she would cancel my previous order & I asked her to be sure the driver brings me the receipt from the cancellation.

Pizza Hut app is a joke
This app is frustrating every time I use it. It RARELY lets me actually order something using the points I’ve accumulated (but then you can’t use your points in the store—so when can you use the points?!?). I swear it’s rigged to keep us from using my points it happens that much! Then, today I wasn’t able to use a gift card that had $10 left on it plus my regular card to pay the difference.? No one else in the United States seems to have an issue with this. It found my GC total when I entered it in and the app even told me how much was still on it, but for some reason I could only use 1 form of payment. Sooooo...I had to take the GC off♀️ Truly, they need to fix the design issues! When Mazzio’s decides to start delivering in our neighborhood, we will absolutely be jumping ship for a better user experience.

The Pizza is late
The pizza app is great but the people aren’t. They all know that there is going to be a Oregón Duck game but they make us wait 30 minutes longer. It was supposed to be 20 minutes but they made it 50 just because they want to. I was already there and they make me wait 30 minutes more because they want to “Social Distance.” It says 25 minutes on the app but when I get there, they change there mind and make it 50. The app is good and pizza is delicious and the prices aren’t expensive, but the people are bad and they like to lack off. The people make us wait when we want to see a sport game so we can miss the whole game and then thank them for missing the game. I would give it 5 stars if the delivery was better and we has to wait less time. They could at least give us a email saying that their oven is working but they want us to wait and miss what we are doing.

The worst pizza app for the best place
Listen, I love my pizza, and Pizza Hut is my favorite place to order pizza from, and the app use to be a great way to order however, the app now is a stripped down version of the website with less features and bugs. The app does not allow you to use Visa checkout when the website does, why limit this to the website? It makes things far less convenient, not to mention not allowing you to use Apple Pay in the app when other pizza ordering apps do. Ok now onto bugs, my address when typed into the app for delivery says no delivery store when i’m clearly in a delivery zone because both calling the store and ordering on the website gives no issues. Because of this, I can only use the app for carryout. Again limiting the use of it. Please Pizza Hut, fix your app, I cannot tell you how many times i’ve ordered from a lesser pizza place simply cause their apps work fine.

Nonstop Malfunctions Using Rewards
To redeem reward points, I’ve had to delete the app and the download it again each time.
If not, I get an error message stating unavailable and to try again later.
Or it will load the reward in the cart and then not allow me to add anything else to the order.
So I deleted the app again today, downloaded it again and placed an order from the deals offered. Get there to pick up and they had a printout showing the deal was a fake and do not honor. The deal was straight from the app. They obviously knew it was out there.
I pulled up the app and the deals were mostly different than what I just ordered. The deal I ordered was no longer there. On top of it, they charged me the price of the deal I thought I was getting, but gave me a different deal that was listed for less than what I was charged.
Whomever is in charge of the app has no idea of what they are doing.

Redeem awards and delivery address
My points show I have 250 points but every time I try to redeem them it gives me an error message it has never worked for me and tonight I called customer service and the agent advised she could not help me and that when she tries to redeem online it gives her the same message she basically told me the call center can’t help with the Pizza Hut app while this took me almost 15 minutes or so I tried to just order my actual order without redeeming my points and went to check out put in my card number it took but gave me an error about my address that has always been on file and I have had delivery from Pizza Hut to my address before I tried multiple times didn’t work so than I finally just had to call the store and place order I think this should be looked into because I have tried more than once to use the app and it never works .. I love Pizza Hut just wish the app would work correctly.

App is very buggy
I love Pizza Hut and always order from them over any other franchise. However, their app is very buggy. It continously crashes and will not allow me to use my pizza points. I actually have enough points to order four free pizzas now. However, every time I try to use points I get an error message, and this has been going on for a year now. The only way I have ever been able to use my pizza points is to call the order in. A Pizza Hut manager told me that I am not the only one having the same issue with their pizza points and that she hears the same complaint several times a week. The manager went on to state that she has mentioned this to corporate on more than one occasion, but nothing changes. I get the idea that Pizza Hut is in the business of making pizza, not IT. However, why even bother using the app if it is so buggy besides the obvious of trying to be apart of app technology.

Pizza Hut has gone down hill
First, I got on the Pizza Hut app to order the online deal, 2 medium pizzas any toppings for $6.00 but the online app didn’t show that as their deal, yet my husband just had gotten an email on the Pizza Hut deal. So I tried to order a large 3 topping pizza for $8.99. I put the order in 3 times and it said, oops something went wrong, try again. Then I finally just called to place my order and I was asked to be put on hold and she would get right back to me. I sat on the phone for 20 minutes and then they hung up. Terrible app, and terrible customer service.
I had just got off work after 13 hrs. I was not happy.
I went to Pizza Hut anyway, ordered my pizza, got it home to find that they didn’t make it as I ordered!
Literally was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. No sauce, hardly any Canadian bacon and a few mushrooms.
What a complete waist. I’ll never eat there again.

Horrible
I order weekly from Pizza Hut and every week I have issues with the app. I order several orders of pizza and breadsticks to enjoy while watching football and every week the app removes items from my order as it’s transmitted to the store. Pathetic for a multi-million dollar company. Yet again this happened tonight. Ordered 2 pizzas from their deals and two orders of double order breadsticks for guests I was entertaining and during checkout showed the proper amount and items. As the driver gets here they bring me only breadsticks and the sodas ordered. So yet again I don’t get what I ordered and nothing can be done about it because my order was never sent to the local pizza hut correctly. Never again will I order from pizza hut nor do I recommend using their app. Service is horrible and majority of the time the pizzas are fully cooked. Very disappointed since they are good when they are cooked right. Lost a customer for good this time.
