Someone is sending Playboy magazines to my home unsolicited. I have 2 teen sons and I do not want them reading that kind of magazine. And I refuse to pay for something that I did not ask for. Where did they get my name and address from because I want it removed and how can I prevent this from happening again. I have no idea who I need to contact to make deliveries stop.

I give two Playboy subscriptions as Christmas gifts, however, you send only one gift enclosure card. On August 25, 2008, I requested a second gift enclosure card (confirmation #68c55) and was messaged to "Be patient". I was patient until December 24th and still no enclosure card. I am now VERY IMPATIENT! It is time for me to remit for the subscriptions but still no gift enclosures. I am hesitant to send payment as I am not happy with your service. I will wait one more week to receive same before deciding if I will cancel subscriptions. Please advise, and I do not consider "Be patient" an adequate response. The response I want now is a "Belated" gift card enclosure in my U.S. Postal mailbox.

We have been getting this magazine for years and can't seem to get this company to stop the subscription either. We HAVE called them and they have SAID they will stop and refund, but they don't.

PEI is Playboy Enterprises Inc. I called the 800 number listed at the end of the Playboy magazine (for subscription related issues). Was told the magazine must be a complimentary issue. Was told to call Consumer Marketing Solutions at [protected]. Got voice mail and left a message. Hope someone returns my call! By the way, I am also getting Maxim magazine. Really would like both to stop as we have no use for either...both go straight into the trash...which costs ME money to dispose of!

I received a Playboy subscription the other day. I never ordered a magazine at all. I plan to have my attorney send them a notice that I do not want the magazine and I have no intention to pay for anything. These types of companies suck the life out of good working americans trying to make ends meet.

I have the same complaint as everyone else. Started receiving the magazine several months ago. Never ordered it and never received an invoice. I think it's an evil plan to get the men in the home "hooked" on this crap of flesh peddling. I feel violated when something like that is sent to me unsolicited. I called the number as suggested above [protected]) and had to leave a message. I'm sure it won't take care of anything.

Update to my earlier comment: I found a customer service number for playboy [protected]) and gave them my "account number" from the label on the magazine. They were able to locate our name and address and confirmed that the company Consumer Marketing Solutions placed the order for this subscription for us. The customer service rep said she would stop the subscription from being sent but also encouraged me to follow up with Consumer Marketing Solutions at [protected]. Hopefully this will take care of the problem and help some of you as well.

I have been getting these much unwanted playboy magazines for over five years now, they are now sending two or three at a time. It has my old business name with my home address. I actually got in touch with them once about two years ago and it stopped for a few months then resumed with a vengeance. They are an evil company trying to corrupt others with their great immorality. Not sure what to do now? It is an embarrassment to have these in my mailbox. I have small grandchildren who have checked the mail while these were in the mailbox. I hope someone finds a way to stop them! I am actually considering hiring an attorney to deal with it. There is no end to satans evil empire and work, the good news is we know who wins in the end.

Thank you dandiwolff for the update. I used the numbers you provided and it looks like, at least for me, they worked to stop this really uncool marketing practice. First, I called Consumer Marketing Solutions (CMS) at [protected] and left a message and then I called Playboy at [protected]. I shared with the operator that I was receiving unwanted magazines and therefore unethical payment requests. I told her that I had already called CMS but that I was quite certain that they did not act without the approval of Playboy's parent publisher (whoever that is...). She became less cheery but immediately responded by confirming my address, which she knew without my telling her, and informing me that my subscription(?!) had been canceled and that I would no longer receive magazines nor payment requests. Fingers crossed.

I had this problem too! Just got it resolved. I contacted Playboy directly at [protected]. They asked for last name and zip code. She found my address and canceled the account. She then gave me a number to SubCo [protected]. I called and asked them to stop sending me these filthy magazines, I have a 5yr old that likes to check the mail. I was told its "Marketing" and that I would not be charged for the magazines they send. I told them I didn't care, I don't want them coming to my house. They canceled whatever account, and then added me to their internal do not mail list. Hopefully this took care of it all. IMHO, if this is "marketing" its a stupid magazines to be sending out just randomly to people. DISGUSTING!

Thank you so much for the information. I received them and I was mortified. I will call these numbers and stop this. To Rick, my grandchildren check the mail. So you can imagine how I felt. I had no idea that they could randomly send this kind of magazine to you. This is ridiculous.

Update, I contacted playboy cust svc [protected] and was told another marketing company (priority one clearance) placed the order. I contacted Priority One [protected]) and was informed this is a promotional offer but the initial order was placed by US Periodicals [protected]. I canceled the "order" with Priority One (lets hope it works). Attempted to contact US Periodicals but office is closed on Fridays. I am sure buy the time you read this one or all "marketing" companies wil have changed their names and contact info.

They are an aggressive company when it comes to their subscriptions. I subscribed for what was supposed to be $1/issue, but it somehow ended up being $15.96/year. That wasn't what I had agreed to. Even though you try to discontinue it, they keep sending you invoices, and then turn you over to a Collection Agency. I was able to get it resolved eventually.

I started receiving different magazines shortly after i bought my house last summer. I was getting Better Homes and Gardens at first which I didn't mind. Then I got Muscle Fitness and Golf Digest. I started getting a little annoyed at this point . Now I get Redbook, Cosmopolitan, and Playboy which has arrived twice now. I have 4 kids (15, 10, 7 &5) so you can imagine how mortified I was to see this in my mailbox and relieved that I had been the one to check the mail that day. THANK YOU to everyone for the infomation! I called Consumer Marketing Solutions [protected]) first. I actually spoke to a live person. She explained to me that their company only deals with businesses. She then gave me the number to Magazine Service Center [protected]). Someone else referred to it as SubCo. This is a company based in Fresno, CA. A lady named Kat looked up my address and my zip and could not find me. She then did a name search and found me under an address i had at least 6 years ago. She put me on the national do not mail list and said that I may receive issues for 2months then they would stop.

Same thing just happen to me, I noticed a charge on my debit card for $16.98 for PEI/Playboy which I never ordered or authorized, & my account was in the negative at the time they put it through my bank account so I also got a nice $34 overdraft charge. I contacted my bank, which is Chase, and told them I have no idea what this charge is & I never authorized this charge. They transferred my to the fraud department where I explained it to the woman, she said they would refund the money & my overdraft fee, thank god. This was about 2 hours ago, so far they refunded my original $16.98 but not the $34 fee yet, but she did say it can take up to 12 hours, but I just figured they would refund them both at the same time, so I may have to call again. Needless to say I had to cancel my debit card & now I have to go to the bank & get a new one, I have no idea how they got my info in the first place, but thankfully I get my money back.

Just because the paper of the new Playboy has changed did not make up for the cover disappointment (no hidden bunny). Also no nudity? What are you doing to this wonderful men's magazine? I will definitely not be renewing my subscription once it is up. I have gotten Playboy for over 40yrs, and this "new" issue has given me the decision to never purchase Playboy magazine in the near future.

Pay for a 12 month subscription and receive 12 magazines - wait not so with PlayBoy anymore - They take 2 issues a year and call them a double issue, which results in the customer only receiving 10 issues, even though they paid to receive 12. The double issues certainly are not double in size not even close. Probably a 15 -20 percent increase in pages, but alot more advertising.

So now a 12 month subscription means you only get 10 issues ? That is a total ripoff! Shame on Hef for allowing it. When my subscription runs out, I will be going to one of their competitors, hell the girls in Playboy are so dam airbrushed anymore that the bodies look fake .

This is a total dam RIPPOFF ! And frankly could result in a Class Action Lawsuit, which would serve them thieving *&#@! right

? You paid for a 2 year subscription for a magazine that comes out monthly... You got an issue on June 7th... That would mean that you get another one around one month later... That would be around July 7th... It is still about 8 days away?
