national geographic subscriptions
I went to play.com thru another website and looked over what they were all about. They offer a child subscription for books. I clicked on a 1 time $28 box and was charged $167 for an annual plan. I can't reach anyone about this and am panicking. I don't have that much money for that. I don't understand why that would have changed. Can someone resolve this issue?
disney pley box subscription
On 5/4/18 I was charged for my disney pley box, on may 21st I finally recieved it... And it only had a tshirt and a yo yo in it... No directions on how to make the box the cinderella castle... Nothing else... Totally not worth the $29.99... I immediately sent an email with a picture to pley because they have no phone number... And waited... Well I finally received a response on may 25th... 4 days later that once they confirmed that they had the missing pieces, it would take 2 weeks for delivery?! Are you kidding me... My kid has waited two months for this box and it was missing almost everything and you are gonna take 2 weeks longer to ship my missing items once it is confirmed... Well here it is june 1st... And I have received no communication whatsoever about confirmation or shipping information... Wth... Do they not realize how impatient children are? Why would it take so long to fix this mistake... The items that were missing should have been shipped the very next day! Anyway... I have sent 2 more emails in the past 7 days since I received their response requesting when I am to receive the missing items... And of course... I have heard nothing... I have cancelled my subscription and for resolution... I just want my money back... I dont want the missing items... I just want to go buy my daughter something because she got this pley box because she made honor roll... Well she made straight a's this report card and deserves the reward... Can someone please help me...
never received national geographic boxes
I order a 6 month subscription of the Natl Geographic boxes for my 7 year nephews Christmas Present back in Dec 2017. It is now March and still no delivery. I was constantly told it was coming... I finally asked for my account to be canceled and reimbursed as I never received anything. Customer Support said they canceled my account and a refund would occur within in 7 days (CASE# 53066). That was Feb 14, 2018. As of March 6, 2018 I have yet to received a refund. I believe this outright fraud and prepared to file a legal complaint. Seems incredible that this company is still sending my emails to sign up for more subscriptions and I still havent had any help.

I heard about pley.com through a coworker. Thought we would try it out for my stepdaughter as she loves Legos. I signed up and ordered the first set, it didn't arrive until the first month was nearly over (so almost time to be charged again). The set was incomplete and had broken parts. I sent an email to report it, no response. We returned it with the pre-paid label provided by them. They've never logged that it was received and have charged me for two more months of service. Since they haven't logged the returned toy, i can't cancel my membership online. They don't answer the phone (number provided by my credit card company) - the line is always busy. I just want to cancel this membership and get away from this SCAM.
stopped sending lego sets and no response from customer service
I have been using Pley over a year. The first couple of months were awesome. However, the deliver gets slower and slower. Sometimes it took a couple of weeks from the day I picked my toy and shipping from their warehouse... Finally since last December, they stopped sending me lego set. And my contract does not end until the end of March 2018. I have been trying to contact Pley, but there is no reply. Interestingly, Pley is still alive and active in Facebook, I even saw a promotion in Groupon a few minutes ago... I think if Pley decides to shut down the Lego sector, it should at least send the Lego customer an e-mail explaining the situation, and a refund.
Same thing happened to me. and they didn't stopped charging my account. i have finally filled a credit card fraud.

My grandson ordered a Lego set through a Gift account I set up. He never received the set but I was charged for it. I contacted PLEY through their website, they confirmed the opening of a case # but never heard from them again. Repeated the process 2 weeks later and the same thing happened.
Avoid this company. They are a ripoff and have no customer service.

Needless to say, I never write reviews. But Pley deserved one, I think.
Extremely disappointed and even angry. That's why I am advising you to stay away from this website and not to order anything from them unless you want a bad treatment. Their customer service is the worst I have ever done my business with.
They delayed the delivery three times, so the toy for my son, who celebrated his birthday December 3rd, was delivered 3 weeks after his birthday!
Simply the worst. Nothing else to say.
national geographic monthly box
On November 27th I placed an order for a six month subscription to National Geographic. This was for a Christmas gift. My credit card was charged for the amount, but I did not receive a confirmation and no shipment has been received.
I then requested help through the customer service on the website. I received a message from an Ally promising a follow up within 24 hours. Later that evening I received a second message which was the same as the first. My request for a phone contact was ignored.
Getting the sense that this is a scam sight. I have had difficulty in the past with National Geographic subscriptions. This mess will leave one very disappointed little boy on Christmas Day.
I am requesting immediate action on this or an immediate refund of my money
monthly rental service
I thought their service was great, but after a few months they have just stopped sending us the toys, we've received nothing for 6 weeks (they claim a 24-48 hour turn around on receipt of a toy) and their customer service will do NOTHING to assist. They continue to charge us every month for this 'subscription' and will not credit us the money in the account even thoguh they are no longer providing a service
waste of time
We had lots of communication back and forth and didn't come to an agreement.
Their problem was that they were unable to send my order for no reason, my problem was that I was tired of waiting and wanted to get my money back and it was against their stupid and sneaky policies.
Plus, contacting them is like a pain in the a$$ because they rarely answer, rarely pick up the phone and reply emails once a week, so it was hard.
Haven't refunded yet. But I won't give up.

Do you think it's legal to refuse people canceling their orders?
I changed my mind several minutes after I placed an order. Needless to say, I was immediately charged and I wanted my money back.
I spent 2-3 hours trying to get in touch with them. The line was always busy (it's hard to believe it). When they finally picked up the phone I was said that the cancellation is impossible. I asked why and ... they hung up on me. Great.
I also wrote numerous emails and called several times again. No answer.
Just silence.

stop my subscription
I wanted to give a subscription as a present. Due to one situation, I needed to cancel my order. But I didn't understand how to do it if there's no any phone number or email published.
Their website has an online form and looks like it was the only way to resolve the issue. So I filled the form hoping to get an answer fast.
However, its been a month and I haven't received any response.
I would like to stop my subscription ASAP and I don't want to be charged.
Auto renewal scam
www.pley.com is horrible! Please don't sign up for this service, they are the ones with the auto renewal scam!
I signed up for Pley and was planning to use them only for about a month, but they charged me without my permission. And the worst part was that they billed me for the next six months! I contacted Pley right away and demanded my money back, but they claimed that they didn't do anything illegal and that if I would have read their terms I would have known about these fees. There is no way to get my money back and I already tried everything! I even contacted the police but received no help.
Pley is not to be trusted, do not fell for this scam!
Automatic renewal scam
I have ordered from www.pley.com in the past and received the item in reasonable time. My daughter was really happy about her new toy and everything seemed fine. But then six months later I received a charge from Pley! I contacted customer service right away and asked what was going on. They said that when I signed up for the first time I agreed to their automatic renewal! Never heard about that and there was nothing about that on their website either!
Asked for a refund and they said no you agreed yourself! Asked them if I will be charge again and they said yes and did not allow me to cancel the subscription!
Hate this website! Don't use them, they are real cheats!
Pley has the worst customer service ever. Emailed and emailed again and no one answer and no answer and no toys coming our way. They literally stole our money ... took the money and gave us no service.
