Reliable Used Parts and Excellent Service at PMP Auto Group - Highly Recommended!
I gotta say, I've been dealing with Peter over at PMP Auto Group for a good number of years now, and I gotta tell ya, I don't know what those other reviews are on about. I haven't had any problems whatsoever. The service is quick, the service is good, and the parts are top-notch. Now, I reckon some folks might be gettin' a little bent outta shape 'cause they're expectin' brand spankin' new parts, but let me tell ya, these parts are used, and that's just the way it is. And honestly, I ain't got no complaints 'bout it. So, if you're lookin' for some reliable used parts, PMP Auto Group is the place to go. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Top-notch Subaru Parts Supplier with Killer Prices and Exceptional Service
This place is the bomb for used Subaru parts, man. They got killer prices and a huge variety of parts to choose from. I've dealt with a bunch of peeps there, and let me tell ya, they're all super friendly and helpful. And when it comes to Subarus, these guys know their stuff like nobody's business. Shout out to Pete and the whole crew for keeping me hooked for almost a decade now. Much love, y'all!
Disappointing Experience at PMP Auto Group: Lack of Knowledge and Disorganization
I went to PMP Auto Group's website (pmpautogroup.com) and decided to purchase a part that I needed. I had to drive for over an hour to get there, so I wanted to make sure I was getting the right part. I asked the owner if he was sure that the part I was buying was the correct one. He confidently assured me that he knew what he was doing.
But let me tell you, when the owner of a business doesn't have a clue about what's happening in his own establishment, it's a clear sign that it's a bad place to do business. It's frustrating to rely on someone who doesn't have a good grasp of their own operations.
To make matters worse, I had a conversation with one of the workers at PMP Auto Group. He mentioned that he was leaving the company because of the lack of organization. This confirmed my suspicions that this place was not well-managed.
Overall, my experience with PMP Auto Group was disappointing. The owner's lack of knowledge and the worker's decision to leave due to disorganization were red flags that I couldn't ignore. I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this business.
Excellent Used Engine Purchase from PMP Auto Group - Smooth Performance and Exceptional Customer Service
I bought a used engine from PMP Auto Group a few years back for my 2004 WRX Wagon. The engine had around 63k miles on it. I had a garage install it for me, and let me tell you, this engine runs like a dream. It's even smoother than the engine in my 2009 WRX. I gotta say, I have absolutely no complaints about this group. When I visited their shop, they were super helpful and answered all the questions I had.
I'm definitely planning on doing business with them again in the future.
Disappointing Experience with PMP Auto Group: Inconsistent Parts and Frustrating Returns
I gotta say, when it comes to PMP Auto Group, they seem to think they know their stuff. But let me tell ya, every time I step foot in that place, it's like a never-ending cycle of disappointment. I can't count how many times I've had to make a return trip because the parts they gave me were all messed up. It's like they can't even get their act together to give me the right stuff. Sure, they're usually willing to swap it out for me, but seriously, who's got time for that? I'm sick and tired of wasting my precious time coming back here not once, not twice, but sometimes even three times just to get the dang part I need. And don't even get me started on Pete and his so-called expertise. He'll swear up and down that he's got the right part, but half the time it's just a load of bull$#*!. It's frustrating, to say the least.
Terrible Experience with PMP Auto Group: Defective Part, No Customer Support, Delayed Refund
So, I bought this part from PMP Auto Group on eBay, right? They said it was all tested and good to go. But guess what? It was a dud, a total lemon. And you know what's even worse? eBay didn't want to help me out because I paid with my credit card. Apparently, they don't cover used parts. Can you believe that?
I've been trying for months to get some info on how to return this defective part, but PMP Auto Group has been as silent as a graveyard. No response, no nothing. It's like they don't even care about their customers. Well, let me tell you, this whole experience has been a major headache.
I finally managed to send the part back to PMP, hoping to get my hard-earned money back. But guess what? I'm still waiting for my refund. It's like they're playing games with me or something. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't wish this kind of frustration on my worst enemy.
So, take my advice and steer clear of PMP Auto Group. They're not worth your time or money. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Warning: Unreliable Products, Poor Communication, and Deceptive Practices at PMP Auto Group
Peter from PMP Auto Group (pmpautogroup.com) recently sold me a WRX engine, but it came without an intercooler, coilpacks were missing, and the TGVs were all gunked up. His communication skills are seriously lacking, and he always seems to shift the blame onto his customers for the products he sells. To make matters worse, I discovered that he actually lied about the year of the engine he sold me! It's definitely a red flag, so I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your engine needs. Interestingly, some of his former employees have even referred to him as the devil, claiming that he purposely buys cars with the highest mileage and then lies about it. So, if you're considering purchasing from PMP Auto Group, be cautious and think twice before making a decision!
Top-Notch Customer Service and Reliable Parts: A+ Review for PMP Auto Group
I've been buying parts from PMP Auto Group for more than 10 years, and let me tell you, they never disappoint. Whether it's engines, transmissions, or even entire interiors, PMP always has what I need or can track it down and give me a heads up. And let me tell you, if there's ever a problem, Pete is always there to make things right. That's what I call top-notch customer service!
Now, let's talk about the employees. They are a bunch of helpful folks, let me tell you. When I need a part pulled or assistance in finding an interchangeable one, they are always ready to lend a hand. Even if they don't have the exact vehicle in their inventory, they'll help me narrow down the options. It's like having a personal pit crew!
Oh, and did I mention my old 09 Forester? This baby has been kept alive and kicking for over 359,000 miles, thanks to the parts I've pulled from PMP. I rebuilt most of it using their top-quality components, and boy, am I impressed. My Forester runs like a dream, and I owe it all to PMP Auto Group.
So, if you're in need of some reliable parts for your vehicle, look no further than PMP Auto Group. They've got the goods, the service, and the expertise to keep you on the road. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. A+ all the way!
PMP Auto Group: A Solid Experience with Unmatched Knowledge and Expertise
I've been dealing with PMP Auto Group for a good while now, like, several years, and let me tell you, it's always been a solid experience. I mean, I've gone there to grab parts for my Subarus, this Infiniti I used to own, and even my trusty Miata. But let's be real, Subarus are like PMP's main jam, ya know?
Now, there's a bunch of cool stuff about doing business with these guys, but if there's one thing that really stands out, it's their knowledge. Seriously, if you end up with the wrong part, it's probably because you didn't give them the right info in the first place. But don't worry, Peter and his crew are like super sharp and they'll catch that mistake before you can say "whoopsie daisy."
I gotta hand it to them, they totally deserve those 5 stars and then some. They really know their stuff, man. Oh, and just for kicks, I'm gonna throw in a pic of this sweet bugeye wagon I put together using mostly PMP parts. It's like a little tribute to their awesomeness, ya know?
Fraudulent Misrepresentation: Dishonesty and Deceptive Trade Practices at PMP Auto Group
Dispute: Statement of events
So, back in August 22, 2015, my son reached out to PMP Auto Group about buying a used stock engine. He sent a text message to the owner of PMP, and the owner replied with all the details about the engine, like the mileage and the results of tests to check if the engine was in good shape. My son made it clear that he wanted to make sure the engine was stock, and he asked the owner multiple times to confirm that. The owner said it was stock, and even wrote it on the receipt. So, my son went ahead and bought the engine on August 24, 2015. He had it installed by Zach Sharpe, who works at Monroe Muffler Lancaster and is certified by ASE.
But here's where things went downhill. Just 10 days after the installation, the engine started showing signs of failure. My son contacted PMP, and they agreed to inspect the engine. You can see the receipt for the return in the attached documents. A professional took the engine apart, and guess what? It turned out that the engine wasn't stock like the owner had claimed. It had modifications that weren't compatible with the vehicle's computer system, and this was noted on the return receipt as the TGV valve concern.
Naturally, my son immediately got in touch with the seller to let him know what they found. And you know what the seller said? He admitted that he doesn't inspect every engine in detail before selling them. Can you believe that? He assured my son and our certified technician, Jennifer Gehman, that he would fix or replace the engine at no cost. But now, he's gone back on his word and refuses to give back the $2500 my son paid for the engine. I personally contacted Mr. Donato, and he basically laughed at me and said, "Good luck getting your money back."
So, my son returned the engine on October 15, 2015. But the owner keeps insisting that this is a warranty issue and that the engine is no longer covered by the original warranty period. But here's the thing: the engine was installed by a certified ASE shop, just like the warranty instructions said. And according to those instructions, that should extend the warranty to 60 days instead of 30. I've been arguing that this is NOT a warranty issue. It's clear that the seller committed fraudulent misrepresentation and engaged in deceptive trade practices. And you know what? I did some digging, and it turns out that there are many forums and reviews out there that talk about this seller's history of shady behavior. If the engine had actually been stock like they promised, we wouldn't be dealing with this service issue. The engine failed because the seller lied about it being stock. The vehicle in question has aftermarket modifications, like an upgraded turbo, high pressure fuel rails, and 1000 cc injectors. The vehicle's computer was professionally tuned to stock standards, and any deviation from that would cause the computer to go into limp mode, which could seriously damage the engine.
I've already filed a formal complaint with the PA Attorney General's office, and I strongly recommend that anyone else who's had a similar experience do the same. Let's put a stop to this kind of dishonesty and protect other consumers from falling into the same trap.

Cautionary Review: PMP Auto Group's Misleading Vins and Potential Deception
So, I gotta tell ya, I recently had an experience with PMP Auto Group and let me tell ya, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows, ya know what I mean? I mean, I was checkin' out their website, pmpautogroup.com, and I noticed somethin' fishy goin' on. The Vins they had listed in the description didn't match up with the actual engine. Can ya believe that? It's like they're tryin' to pull a fast one on ya!
Now, this ain't no isolated incident, my friend. It seems like this is a common issue with this seller. So, if you're thinkin' about buyin' from 'em, I'd say proceed with caution. Don't just take their word for it, ya know? Make sure to verify the Vin on the engine before you hand over your hard-earned cash.
One tip I can give ya is to ask for photos of the Vin on the engine before they ship it out to ya. That way, you can be sure that what you're gettin' is the real deal. Trust me, it's better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to buyin' a car.
So, all in all, my advice is to be wary when dealin' with PMP Auto Group. They may have some nice lookin' cars on their website, but don't let that fool ya. Take the time to double-check everything before you make a purchase. And remember, ask for photos of the Vin on the engine to ensure you're gettin' what you paid for. Good luck, my friend!
