I was on POF originally in the early 90's - enjoyed the 'meet & greet' aura

now i have tried to understand how to surf this new system.

to me it is monetary based to gouge the consumer.

I paid for tokens assuming this would then get you a more friendly access

I would not recommend this new system as it is all about $$$..

was charged four times and then denied access. they live support isnt live its a bot. super disappointing as a business person myself this is really not right. steal peoples money then deny them access to accounts and give no way to call for help only a bot chat box thats dumber then a mouse.

Plenty of fish i will make sure to let anyone i hear mention knows my situation. none of my family or friends would i ever recommend this too. poor support, poor features. I paid for year & twice got booted with out explanation. I want refund this time. whoever runs this app needs to be legally responsible for refund. gave me no reason either time for denied access. Plenty of fish sucks i do not recommend to anyone.

I still cant get on pof everytime I try to. Get off you kicked me off like I been trying to get on here for a long time for 8 years you cant banned me forever and this is discrimination

32lady profile account got hacked and I've no way of getting my messages back, pof said my account was violated wasnt send any inappropriate info at allaccountbhas been used without my knowledge

On, 25JAN22, met Micheal Boland on POF and stated that he was an international antique dealer and was in Turin, Itay, and needed money to get his antiques out of port, Certificate Insurance of /italy, and late fees associated for antiques in port and said his international account with 7 million dollars was frozen because he forgot to notify them he was in Italy, therefore, account was frozen. States he lives in Louisa, VA. I had him sign contracts for $10,000 for the $10,000 that was loaned to him. He defaulted on the loans and still claims he is in Italy 2 months still claiming money. He wanted to deposit $500,000 into my checking account and have me send it to him in Italy. I said absolutely not this is fraud and international money laundering.

THIS MAN IS A SCAMMER!

HE HAS 4 DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS ON FACEBOOK WITH 4 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN THE US.

CLAIMS HE IS INDEPENDANT WORKER AND LOVES HIS JOS!

PROFESSIONAL SCAMMER AND INTERNATIONAL MONEY LAUNDRYER

On 25JAN22 met this person on POF and stated he was in Italy and needed money for the port of Italy to get antiques out of the port of Italy, a Certificate of Italy Insurance, and a late fee. I had him sign contracts for the loans of approximately $10K. After he defaulted on loans, I told him no more money. He has about 4 different Facebook accounts, with the same pictures, but different locations in the country.

Do not fall for this scammer's lies!

I cannot seem to contact anyone on Plenty of Fish and I have a complaint about a well known user who is trying to scam money out of the women who are currently using the POF site. He goes by the name of Eric_Lawson001. Whoever this scammer is, he should be banned from using Plenty of Fish. I have blocked him. He is using Eric T Hill's profile pic, and if you google the name you will see complaint after complaint of scamming. If POF does not remove him, they do not care about their customers. I did not give this man any money, but I am sure there are women out there that will. Please stop this from happening on POF. (I have included the photo he is currently using. )

I can not get on. I sign on and get your updated terms and it will not leave the page and I can not get on to your site.

I was banned from PoF. The only indication of a reason given was that I violated their terms of service - which is absolutely bogus. I never violated anything like that.

The only thing I can think of is that they have team members working for them who have the power to ban profiles and they're combing through them deciding which ones they don't like or maybe they disagree with them, or whatever, and they just ban them whil saying it violates the terms of service. When in reality, it's just something they personally disagree with.

I don't know if this is the case, I just can't think of anything else. Why would so many people get falsely banned?

I have been trying to resolve this issue for over a month. It never got resolved in Feb and my ticket was closed. I opened new tickets and someone from POF changed my number back on my profile but not before my entire profile was stolen from me by someone called "dalebaby3800" who keeps changing my password and who now has full access to my account, personal information and pictures! I have no access to my account at all! My email address is desireer.[protected]@gmail.com. My other email address is [protected]@gmail.com. I registered using the first email (desireer.[protected]@gmail.com) and identifying as "Epythemia". I keep getting notifications under social in my [protected]@gmail.com that this hacker (dalebaby3800) has yet again successfully changed my password. They even changed my number in Feb 2021 and pof had to change it back. Now, my entire account is under the hacker's control and I have no access to it at all. I got instead, upon login, the account of "dalebaby3800" and deleted it because it had been registered to my [protected]@gmail.com email address. This is really scary! I want my account back and out of the hackers hands! I feel like I am being assaulted! This hacker appears to be a black girl from Florida USA in her mid 20's using the name "dalebaby3800" and had changed my account to a cell number ending in 25. I am a white female from Sudbury Ontario and my cell ends in 35. Please help me get my account back! Thank you.

Ok, I am responding from my registered email address. You can see from the attachment that someone using the name "dalebaby3800" is changing my password often and has stolen and taken over my account. Please fix this as soon as possible! How can a stranger just take over your account like that!? I have lost complete control over my account and my personal information and pictures are now completely compromised!

POF charge my debit card a total of $270.90 from 1-8-21 to 1-10-22. They charged me $38.70 every 2 months which I wasn't aware of. I received interest from young women whose profiles were there one minute and gone the next - I thought they were trying to scam me and so I kept deleting their profiles. I never received one viable date from the site I was interested in.

I had 6 pfofessioanl pictures of myself. Now i only have 2. How can a professional company allow this to happen for folks how pay for the service? This is complelty unexceptable. They should be taken down entirely!

I met RA4646AR4646 name Richard but his picture he sent shows Peterr. Not currently in Citrus Ridge, FL but on a freighter in Russia waters. Wanted me to change my mobile account so that he could purchase his "ADOPTED SON" in GHANA an IPHONE 13. When I refused he tried bully tactics.

No woman should have to put up with that on the POF site.

For some reason, POF has removed my account for "violations". I have no idea what I did to violate their policies. I only responded to people who messaged me (there were many). Did not give my phone number out or do any kind of cut and paste. I was on there less than 2 hours. They gave no reason whatsoever. Just locked me out of my account. If they would have told me what I was doing to violate their terms, then I would feel better, but I am totally clueless. Is this how they treat their customers? I am certainly glad that I did not pay for a nembership!

Ryan Scott Burt [protected] attempted to get money (in some cases large sums) from me. We spent 6 months conversing (never meeting face to face, no FaceTime, only texting and phone calls). Flags went up and I only lost $400 total I'm proud to say as he is quite charming and persistent. I'm 76 years old and should have known better. I'm trying to Letitia from others who may end up parting with large sums of money

i went on here hoping to find a decent and good guy, none of the people were who they pretended to be, photos and acounts i think are hijacked by scammers, they pretend to like you or be interested but then want money, iphones, google play or steam cards or ty to get you to set up crypto acounts for coin base or other. they want to see your banking information or get access to your phone, im noy going for this, iam out 300 dollars for google play cards from one. the names and photo used were for Ailbert Maddox an Fredrick Blain, found out the one using Fredrick Blains acount was in india. The one posing as Ailbert Maddox had a foreign accent, another one was for Fred Foster an Army guy. so disapointed they were not even the real people, what chance do you have if they are all scammers pretending to be someone else,

I have been charged for another months subscription, I signed up for a month and that was all.
I would like a refund that was taken out of my account on the 5th December, POF should not have taken money out of my account because I only signed up for a month.
My profile name is NJH61, I did not leave my payment details so POF should not have taken any payment out.

My account was removed because i asked for people who were unvaxinated against covid 19 to apply.
Fact Covid is an experimental vaxine with NO lknown ling term side effects as a person in a vulnerable catagory I dont wish to risk any body fluids passing onto myself through a partner.on site you can get a badge to say your vacinated but you cant get one to say your unvacinated..this is descrimination...none on there can find someone whose not jabbed unless you state thats what youre seeking.

Does POF recieve any funding from the governmrnt or pharma industry to offer those badges? If they do then its a conflict of interest.

Under the equalities act 1984 I am legally covered for descrimination against me.
I am not claiming anything false as the vaxines are EXPERIMENTAL!

I only joined and realized they have no support.. the support button goes nowhere... they lock you in and you cannot contact anyone also their refine search does not work.

I did it many times and it keep setting you up with 50 to 70 years Olds.

They are a shame. They should refund my money within 3 days Ike most legal operating companies.
