I love Club Pogo! There are a great variety and they are categorized well on the site. Also love to change my mini. I know some people say they won't pay for games but then they will use real money to purchase in-app purchases. I'd rather pay for a quality game site with no additional hidden fees.

This is a free site with a lot of games to play, usually great chat also. There is a Club Pogo that you can join and pay for. I have been a member for 6 years. You can win prizes and money without being a member. I have won a gift certificate for 25 dollars from Target. It took 2 months for them to send it. My friend in Canada won 1500 dollars. And yes she did get her money. It just took a while to get it. If your a stay at home person, I would say, join the club. You play for badges, there is a mini person you can dress also. I spend about 100 dollars a year here. We live in a small town and I am a housewife so this is not a huge expense in my opinion. I now have friends all over the U.S. and the world.

I Pogo online games. My favorite is word whomp. There are different levels of difficulty you can set the game at. I like the little ground hogs in this game. They are cute. The solitaire, brain games, hidden object games, arcade games, and scrabble are some of my favorites. I visited this site many many years ago. I have been playing the online games with friends and family for a long time. I love to have my little cousins come over and challenge them on word whomp. It helps them to develop speed and spelling tools. I like to see there faces when the ground hogs eat the carrots. If you need a break from work relax, play a game of word whomp. I love Pogo.com. I've been using this site off and on for about 9 years or so. My son also likes playing the games. There is a very large variety of games to choose from.
One thing that can be pretty annoying is the ads in between the games with the free sign up membership. If you buy the Club Pogo membership you don't have to deal with the ads, and you also get access to games that are exclusive to Club Pogo accounts. I have had both memberships before and Club Pogo is definitely much better. You can also turn in coke rewards codes on Coke's website towards and get a free Club Pogo membership that way.
You also can complete tasks for badges, earn tokens to buy virtual things and dress up your profile person. I personally don't utilize any of these things, but my son does and loves it.
Bottom line for me is it's not a bad way to kill a little time when you feel like it.

The parent company of Pogo, EA, has informed me that my Pogo account is "banned or suspended". This was apparently due to the fact I was a yearly member and come the renewal date, they could not process the credit card on file because that card had been cancelled by Chase Bank due to the Target Identity Theft situation of a few months ago. The Pogo site would not let me update the credit card info, there was some glitch on the pages that made that impossible. I contacted customer service about how to update my credit card info to renew my account, and I was sent a cut and paste non-answer to my question indicating that my account had been "banned or suspended". Well, since I could still log in and play games and since POGO was sending me daily emails about how they were trying to charge my credit card (an email from them that you could not reply to), I thought this was a mistake. Several more emails to "customer service" and I get the same cut and paste response. I was able to submit info via a PayPal account and Pogo charged me $39.99 for a renewed yearly subscription, but I am now informed once again that my account is "banned or suspended". I have now filed a complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. Pogo does not get to charge me a renewal fee and then turn around and tell me that my account is suspended. You don't get to collect a yearly subscription fee for a service you have no intention of providing. Their customer service is apparently outsourced to India for emails. I did find their corporate address in Redwood City in order to file the complaint with the Attorney General. I feel Pogo and EA are operating in bad faith and their various components do not know how to interact with each other, as one phone rep told me "no problem" straightening out my account and then I get another email stating my account has been "thoroughly reviewed" twice and the suspension will stand. No reason for a suspension and no answer to my request for a refund for the fee they took out last week.
THEY ARE THIEVES
Since there is no zero rating, I have to give them a one... which is one more than they deserve. They are thieves because they took eight months of my membership and never answered one of the DOZENS of e-mails I sent requesting assistance. There was a change in their website, so we then had to use our e-mail addresses to log in. As my user name began with a "V," I was one of the last to be changed over from using the user name to using the e-mail address. IT NEVER WORKED. I tried and tried, but I could not access my account and those money grubbers never once responded, despite my using their "help" button... which gives you stock answers and zero assistance. Since I had several friends I enjoyed meeting online in the games, I ended up buying a new membership and lost EIGHT MONTHS that had been already been paid for. 2) The games also changed. While they don't tell you, they mix members with non-members and you end up waiting on people as they have to watch ads... but you don't know this because you, as a paying member, receive no notification. 3) THEIR RATING SYSTEMS ARE A JOKE. I loved playing one particular game, but found I lost points after I had won four in a row. The system was so inconsistent, but it was obvious that it didn't work properly. Too bad. 4) You could be an expert in a game and you would be playing with a partner who was a bare beginner and you had no way of knowing this. 5) There was no way to vote out disruptive players and they didn't give two craps if you complained because THEY DON'T RESPOND TO QUERIES... EVER. 6) The games had bugs and you would often find yourself "frozen" in the middle of a game or even worse, suddenly ejected because Pogo "belched." 7) They have a bad language filter that would bleep out simple, everyday words that were NEVER curses, but you could write a word like t h i s and write anything. Uh, what? Not to mention that the vast majority of players were way over 18.8) The games went from decent, yet simple, graphics to sexist/cartoonish (skintight FA uniform, spades characters looking like stereotypical 40's mob types... including the "heavies" and "woman of questionable integrity" and on and on. 9) You couldn't get rid of disruptive/delaying players so people would be stuck for 20 minutes or so or had to quit just to be able to play. 10) and to reemphasize this: THEY NEVER RESPOND TO ANY QUERIES. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LAUGH ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK.

Wanted to play some games, but who knows why games did not work and some of them did not even open! Tried to restart the page but it did not help, so I decided to contact Pogo support and ask what was going on. Their support is the worst ever! These people are absolutely useless and don't know anything. All they told was "maybe there is a problem with your computer" and that was all! There are many negative reviews and I'm not the first one who can't open a game. They should fix their site.

I have been a member of Club Pogo for YEARS. They would not recognize my old password, which I have had for years.So I changed my password to Husbandry1. Now they won't recognize that one either. I am VERY VERY frustrated. They want their fee to belong so that you can play their games but they won't let you on to do so. I have a new computer but that should not have anything to do with getting on to play games because your game name and password is still the same. So please help me out. In 2005, I enrolled and paid $35 for a one year membership to play in Pogo's on line games site. After, less than a month I had a complaint about another player harassing me and after complaining about that problem, received a notice from Pogo that they did not like the screen name that I had signed up under and were cancelling my account. (ScrmgOrgsGvnHere > since I was a bartender). They did not have any problem with theat screen name when I paid nor did they refund any part of my $35 that they wer more than happy to keep. IF ANY ATTORNEY WANTS ME TO SIGN UP AS A CLASS ACTION PLAINTIFF I will gladly agree to sue them in any class action, If so contact me @ [protected]@juno.com.

I have been doing research on pogo, you pay a monthly fee to play and hope to win...well there are NO REAL WINNERS. You don't win Cash, and if you try and contact anyone on the winners list, they do not exist. POGO is making millions and one of the biggest scams anywhere on the net. Sure their games are good, but do want to keep putting money into a company who is a big rip-off.
A friend of mine knows someone who works for POGO and has verified that they do NOT pay out cash prizes.
So, pay if you want to play, but do not hope to win the 4999.00 they claim to pay out.

I played Pogo FAITHFULLY as a paying member and never won a damn thing. I think the games are fun; however, I do believe it is a hoax.
Finally a rational somebody Apollo! I pay for club pogo and I have never won any money but just fyi I have won backgrounds and screensavers from pogo. I know you can get backgrounds and screensavers for free all over the net but I still feel like I won something. I will probably never win money and I don't really care, I just like the games and the challenge of winning a badge, even if no one cares how many badges I have.
Put the horses back in the stable there! Pogo DOES pay. I personally know people who got their checks. This is just a bunch of conspiratorial nonsense making the rounds. Pogo has their share of problems and among them their worst probably is their customer-no-service department- but this complaint is utterly false.
There are a few people who they do not pay- people caught cheating! When people win a jackpot or drawing they do review their account and if they are caught cheating( people are not as smart or clever as they think they are) they do not pay and they kick them to the curb!
Lastly, I have yet to win a jackpot but I will assure you that IF I ever do the first thing I will do is BLOCK EVERY PERSON WHO IS NOT A FRIEND! This is why people think the winners do not exist. If you won a lump sum of cash would you want every conspiracy nut harassing you asking all kinds of stupid questions? Think about it!

I purchased and downloaded a game from POGO.com on 2239. The game stopped working properly after a week. After troubleshooting my computer and software, I attempted to log on to their download support site. The site is having technical problems and will not load. I then submitted a service request to POGO directly. As they have done in the past, they have completely ignored my issue and closed the service request as if the problem has been solved. I can no longer connect to pogo while playing diner dash. The game freezes and the only way I can get out of it is ctrl/alt/delete. I have attempted to go to the download help at Oberon media but their page will not load. I am not running any pop-up blockers and my java is up to date. The game was working fine until yesterday.

I have been a Pogo member for ten years, and enjoy the games immensely. However, last spring I tried to connect my Pogo account to Facebook, and a third party account was connected to my account. I have tried to resolve this issue by contacting customer service, but I've been told the only thing I can do is forfeit my 30, 000, 000 points and open a new account with a different password. I am a paid member, and if I did as I was advised I would not receive the games and benefits I paid for. At this point my customer service link was blocked, all correspondence was deleted, and I can no longer contact customer service. I have changed my credit card, and I deleted the old account number until I could hear from someone at Pogo. Today, March 3, I've been unable to get into any of the game rooms. I'm also worried about the security of my Facebook account. I would like to be contacted by the Pogo support. Thank you for your assistance.
i'm having trouble seeing the profiles of several players. i've read the reply to someone elses e-mail about the same problem and have tried the resolution that was suggested but it failed to fix the problem.

HELP! I don't k now whehre to turn to for help. The program won't let the game "download". All t he screens open us easily but stop at the oiint of downloading...the small circle in the corner keeps spinning...yet the game won't download...what now. I tried cleaning Java, but that didn't help. Is there someone I can call...I'm 71 yrs old and do't know much about the workings of these systems...and don't want to mess things up by trying various "fixes'

i had that problem too with that same game at first, make sure you have the most recent version of the game. next if pogo is not being anyhelp to you try contacting Oberon they are the ones you technically bought the game from and are the ones that give you the code to u nlock the game. Maybe they will be a bit more help.
for me i had to go in uninstall the game, go into my registry and make sure that all files for that game were gone and then cleared all cookies, temp files and also when into program files under mycomputer and then deleted the file for that game. rebooted the computer, did a new clean install of the game, and then rebooted again ran the game and it worked just fine from there on out. EA is not always much help when it comes to tech issues sometimes, i had a hard time gettng them to understand problems i was having with a SIMS game i bought, and finally just gave up and found someone who actually could help with the problem.

I have been e-mailing back and forth for a week now with tech support (Ruth) about the Cribbage game. If you call the Pogo number [protected]), it tells you to go to the support area on their website. (That would surely be a problem if you couldn't get on Pogo at all!) For some issues, talking to a live (knowledgeable) person would probably solve the problem right then. My problem with Cribbage is that the cards are overlapping, the top turned extra card doesn't show up, you can't tell how many cards the opponent has left because they come out of nowhere, and so on. I sent my operating system info, java, and screenshots as requested. "Ruth" e-mailed the obvious delete temp file, cache, delete and reload java, etc. which I did. The third e-mail from "Ruth" gave me a solution to fix the chat input window! Where did she come up with that? That wasn't even my issue and was never mentioned by me! I just e-mailed back for the fourth time about this problem. They really need to open up some phone lines with live support and help those of us frustrated by their barbaric support system. Also, while I was looking through their tech support pages, many of their solutions are outdated. You click on a link and it's not there anymore.
No wonder they have so many complaints here and in the chat rooms! They need to show more respect for not only new players, but also the long-time (5 years for me) paying customers. At this point, I don't know if I'll ever get a solution to my problem with Cribbage (my favorite game).
I know Pogo either deliberately keeps their players from winning, or hides the real truth. However the games are fun and I miss them. If I want to win and have as much a chance as anyone else, I play the Lottery...they at least let you win now and then.
Pogo is a spam, and I am suprised that our government allows them to play with people's emotions with the knowledge that you COULD win when there is no chance. No one EVER SPEAKS WITH ANYONE WHO HAS WON.

I have being banned by pogo for saying to my opponent, I'm going for a ###. Obviously ### in America must have a different meaning to us in Australia, we say it instead of cigarette. I mean if a person on pogo is going to report me for saying this (dreamyjenplayer), they need to get a life. So now I have to wait 72 hours to play.
These players get by with treating ppl like that because Pogo/EA allows it, and why should they care? EA/Pogo treats their customers and players just as bad, worse even. Pogo is worse now than ever. Their new game format totally sucks and will not load at all and they are defrauding millions of customers by accepting their money for a service that they aren't providing because the new format sucks but more than the stupid thing does not work. In addition, their customer support is nonexistent these days, and there are numerous privacy issues with the new format. At one point it was even spitting out ppl's names and private email addresses in the new format on certain web browsers. Can anyone say 'lawsuit waiting to happen'? In the meantime Pogo/EA keeps stealing people's money by automatically charging them for subscription renewals for games that don't even load or work at all and a format that sucks then refusing refunds. Many are filing complaints with the BBB and FTC and their state attorney general for fraud.
I am upset with pogo, They banned me for 72 hours when i did nothing... I was accused by (Anythingyouwish4) for have a auto i have never heard of one before, she reported me and then came into a game i was playing in Canasta and told my cards to the other players and i reported her for doing that and she kept doing so i tried to report her again and it suspensed me! I don't appreaciate pogo kicking me off when she harass me and was following me from room to room telling people my cards! VERY UNFAIR POGO makes me not want to play and cancel my account..
I agree with jorgy - that renibell22 is the biggest troublemaker I have ever come across on pogo. She's a vindictive disturbed individual who should have been banned from the site years ago.
She's in that room almost every day harassing those poor people when all they are doing is having fun. If you are offended by what they are talking about why not mute them..But not this person, she will contact pogo and make up stories about being threatened or someone being crude just to get them suspended. Then she comes back into the room and brags about it. The whole story is that there is a league in there that has been banned from cases once due to the fact They violated case TOs by Harrsing, slandering, and making derogogatory remarks at this lady reniebell22. This poor lady defends her self to no avail because this league gangs up on her. They now have made 2 leagues one through cases same members different head admin (due to the fact that were banned from cases for TOS violations).
As wellas making a league through great legues same head amin that was banned from cases. You would think if this league of bullies didnt want to hear her they use the mute option, but instead they say mute the seahag Refering to reniebell22, then they continue to intimidate and harras her attacking her family life and her child.They make free accounts Spoofing her name. Not to mention that they have been known to use cheats bots in their games as one of there members accounts was terminated due to the fact that he was caught by pogo using a cheat-bot in bowling.Also it is very inappropriate to make jokes about people who are dying from cancer or dead. These leagues in this room do not have any respect for anybody but themselves.
pogo not only bans people for no reason they dont ban the ones that are troublemakers...there is one in a bowling room i play in (guttersnipes)..one crazy witch names reniebell22..she harasses ppl, makes fun of people who have disabilities, obese, you name it. everyone reports her and she is still on the site..with the money they get from us we should be able to play without being harassed.

I am so unbelievably shocked on how pogo treats their members, I have been a member since last yr. Never if i ever faced a problem or been reported. I love playing Canasta and here recently there has been someone that keeps coming in the room I'm always playing in and starting trouble. They will wait till someone starts a game and if he sees it fit they will come to your table and instead of loading will just sit there to freeze tables so you can not play. Players in the Green Mile have had to resort into hiding in private tables, which to me is so totally unfair seeing how we pay all this money every year not including what we pay for gems. well EVERYONE pretty much in the room has reported this person and muted them numerous times. All that happens is they get suspended go get a pass make it red and come right back and do it all over again. Pogo has done NOTHING to resolve this matter what so ever. Was in the green mile all day yesterday watching players get abused and harassed. Well I guess it was once again my turn to be stalked, so I muted and reported. Like it did any good. He came back to my table, froze it, knocked three of us off and I said why do people have to be butts like that, 10 seconds later I was banned. Why is it that people like his can get away with murder in here and the victims suffer (after all stalking and harassing IS in their rules and regulations), its insane! Instead of emailing them AGAIN I decided to call, I finally got a hold of someone and was telling him what had happened in a very nice way all he could tell me was go to the home page and put in 3 numbers and report it that way that there was nothing he could do. I asked if their was a number to the people that I needed to contact and he said no sorry theres not thats the only way. Something needs to be done quick fast and in a hurry, I wished more people like the ones Ive seen on here would stand up for their rights and quit wasting their hard on money to be bullied. Let pogo know you wont stand for it.
Drew if u are reading this then im glad because i dont know how else to contact u LOL. i just wanted to let u know that no i have not heard anything else back from pogo. and as far as the green mile is conserned i only go in there now once in a blue moon. Ans as far as suggestions, i have a good one and thats that no one renews there subscriptions, but no one seems to go for that, all ev1 says is well i havent had no trouble blah blah blah. so honestly i just gave up. people dont seem to care what happens to others as long as its not them. But as far as people like us in this complaint board we know how it is to be scammed and whatnot. my membership is comming to an end in a few months and if things dont do a big change b4 then im done. thank you for your responce
A particular player was using cheat program in pogo, and got suspended .. now the player is back a day later with a new account, Why are people allowed to re-set an account especially if its probably the same email address and contiue to abuse the system of cheating. It took pogo 4 day to rid us of him and now he is back. we all reported him, and then a couple of players had not very nice messages from pogo for persistant reported a cheater using a program. I reported my fair share and to be honest expected to be suspended rather that the abuser, as I have lost what little faith I had in pogo to deal with such players who blatantly cheat using programs which is now becoming a permanent thing with the same said player.
Pogo makes it very difficult to file a complaint when there is a proble, if u don't know value of game complaint doesn't go through. Bingo Luau badge says cover 900 correct numbers but I got 120 numbers right & got credit for 60. Watched after this and only received half of numbers covered. Myself & several members play Mahjong Safari and every time you have a good game going game freezes. A lot of times members don't get credit when they have won a game, everone calls this pogo cheating. For the amount of money we pay for membership each year it should be easier to file a complaint about a problem with a game. They take our money then make it difficult to get in touch with them.
On 7/21/2010, I ordered on Pogo.com, the game bookworm for $19.95, on-line. I used my Visa debit card. register #0DD3-86D5-97A8-8C39-907F-0CDD-203B-E80F-BEED-291C-694F-D8CC. When I reecieved my statement I see I was billed twice for the same game on the same day. I cannot find a phone #to call, and none of my e-mails get answered. culprits in taking money every month from credit cards. The site
they provide to cancel your account is setup to have the consumer
fail to (or believe they have failed to) cancel their account. One
cannot navigate the site-therefore the complaints and cancellations
go "unnoticed." I have actually emailed them for the past six months and to
absolutely NO AVAIL! I cannot find a phone number or
address for these people. I will spread the word on this site!
I want a refund for all the monies they have taken from my account

I tried Word Riot on pogo.com and I absolutely loved it. However, I was very disappointed that it wasn't a free online Club Pogo game. Club Pogo is expensive enough without having to pay for other games separately. Ok, so then I dealt with it and tried to purchase it. I input all my information and click on the continue bar to go to payment information. This is where I really got disappointed because I learned that the only available payment method is credit card. I do not own one and I do not want one. So this was a double whammy. Shame on you pogo x2.
I have contacted pogo so many times over the past month it isn't funny. I haven't gotten any help from them. I paid and became a member. About a month ago I was unable to play all the games they would freeze on me tell me I wasn't connected to the internet or my jave was not found. Pogo responded with a bunch of crap I needed to do which I did and still couldn't play the games. I bought a new computer and still couldn't play the games the site still did the same things. Their response to that was that my video drivers needed to be updated on this new computer that they were over a year old. I informed them that I didn't buy a mass produced computer that would have sat for a year I had a computer built by a reputable company that I had dealt with for years. I asked for a refund and haven't heard from them on that at this time. I did let them know that I had searched the internet and found that they had a lot of unhappy pogo players with the same problems I was having. How can it be all of us. If you can't fully enjoy the service I do think you should be refunded.
Customer service for Pogo is aweful! I have a Pogo account...I recently paid for a years subscription to Club Pogo. I was on-line playing a few days ago, yet today when I try to login it doesn't recognize me.
I know my Screen name, my password, and my e-mail address...however Pogo now doesn't. The biggest problem is that the only support you can get is on their web site when you are logged in. The phone number that I finally found is just an automated message and it says for any help to go to Pogo ..log in..then any help you need will be available. This is a bit hard if you can't log in.
This is completely ridiculous and I want my money back!
I have been a paying customer on pogo for years and now I can't even get in to the games. It asks me to log in and when I do it tells me that my password is wrong. So I have reset my password try to log in says wrong password. Reset again and get email telling me it has been changed. Try again, says password wrong.
You can't get any support at all. There so called online support won't go any where. I am paying customer and I am not getting what I paid for

I have been a member of pogo for approximately 2 years and really enjoy it. BUT I never authorized a charge of $39.99 to my account. I did go into the EA games to see how much they cost, and could not find the amount, so I went into BUY and when I saw the price I immediately went out of that site. SO I never authorized the buy. Just because POGO has my info, does not give you the authority to charge my account without my knowledge.
I HAVE BEEN CHARGED ON ONE OF MY CARDS FRAUDULENTLY. I HAVE NEVER GAVE THEM A CREDIT CARD OR AUTHORIZED AND AUTO BILLING. I HAVE ALWAYS PAID THRU PAY PAL AND THE CARD WITH PAY PAL IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I HAVE TRIED CONTACTING THEM. THE NUMBER ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT IS A NON WORKING NUMBER (SO TO SPEAK.) IT GIVES YOU A WEB SITE ADDRESS SAYING, " GO TO EA AND LEAVE YOUR NUMBER AND THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK. YEAH RIGHT. THIS WAS IN A FEW MINUTES ITS BEEN 5 HOURS NOW. THE WEB SITE EA.COM IS A JOKE AND DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY HELP. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO THESE PEOPLE. MOST OF ALL, RIGHT NOW IS "HOW DID THEY GET MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER". ? PLEASE SOMEONE LOOK INTO THIS. ON TOP OF ALL THIS MY MEMBERSHIP WITH POGO WASN'T EVEN DUE.
