I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed out about my experience with Pool Supply Unlimited. I've got an older pool and needed a new light, but I couldn't find a replacement anywhere. So, I decided to give these guys a call and see if they could help me out. The guy on the phone seemed nice enough and told me which light to order. I placed my order and waited for it to arrive.

When the light finally showed up, I was pretty excited to get it installed. But when I took it out of the box, it looked way too big for my pool. I called Pool Supply Unlimited back and they told me to wait for my installer to come and see if it would fit. They were pretty sure it would, but if it didn't, I should let them know.

Well, it turns out the light didn't fit. So, I called them back and they asked me to send them some pictures. I texted them some pics and the guy on the phone said, "Well, it's in the pool now, so we can't take it back. And your pool light is discontinued." I was pretty frustrated at this point and told him that he had told me to see if it fit and to send pictures. How else was I supposed to know if it would work? He argued with me for a bit and then said he would call me back.

A little while later, some lady called me and started yelling at me. She said that I had told them which light to order, but I knew that wasn't true. They had told me which one to get. I told her that and she hung up on me. I called back an hour later and they refused to accept a return, refund, or exchange. It was a really terrible experience.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Pool Supply Unlimited to anyone. They don't seem to know their pool supplies very well and they definitely don't stand by their word, their customers, or their products. If you're thinking about buying from them, I'd say buyer beware.

However, I ended up waiting for 2 months because the filter was on backorder, and I did not receive any follow-up email from them explaining the situation. To make matters worse, someone showed up at my house to pick up the pool filter, but I never received it.

In the end, I asked for a refund, and they granted it, but minus a $195 restocking fee, which was quite frustrating. My experience with Pool Supply Unlimited was not a pleasant one. Their follow-up was terrible, and their customer service was quite lacking. I have since discovered that I am not the only one who has had issues with their customer service. I bought myself a Gorilla Pad from Pool Supply Unlimited for my 27' pool. I picked the option that included the cove edging for only an additional $50, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, I was advised to go up a size due to the deeper portion of my pool. So, I ordered the 28' pad, not realizing I wasn't getting the cove edging with it.

Eventually, my Gorilla Pad arrived without the edging, and I spent what felt like ages trying to reach someone at the company. I left a message, but nobody returned my call. After days and days of trying, I finally reached a live person at Pool Supply Unlimited.

But, I was told that I could order the cove edging for an additional cost of approximately $350. That was way too high for me, so I requested to be allowed to get the cost that would have included the edging originally—an extra cost of only around $50 when purchased with the pad. The representative promised to check and call me back within the hour.

It has now been 4 days since I spoke with the representative, and there has been no call back. I find this to be extremely poor customer service, and I will never buy anything from Pool Supply Unlimited again. Customer service is critical when making any purchase, and this experience has made it quite clear that Pool Supply Unlimited lacks the customer care necessary to make me, the consumer, feel comfortable with my purchases.

I have to say that my experience with Pool Supply Unlimited was less than satisfactory. Their customer service left much to be desired. I had to call them multiple times to get through to someone. It was so frustrating! To top it all off, after ordering my pool two months ago, I received no confirmation of shipment from them. It was disappointing to hear the customer service rep try to blame everything on COVID-19. While the pandemic has certainly impacted many businesses, it's no excuse for such poor service. I caution anyone considering purchasing from Pool Supply Unlimited. Based on my experience, it seems that they have a lot of work to do if they want to improve their customer satisfaction.

So, I was checking out Pool Supply Unlimited because I wanted to buy a pool liner pad. But when I looked it up, it said that it was out of stock, but that I could order it as a set with some pool coves. Even though my pool doesn't allow for coves, I went ahead and ordered it because I needed the pad to assemble the pool in time for my daughter's birthday. And I paid extra for expedited shipping, 1-3 days.

But when the package arrived, I found out that the pad was drop-shipped from the manufacturer in Illinois, and it was sent by ground, not expedited like I paid for. Plus, the coves were sent separately from PSU in a box that was totally destroyed. The company tried to tape two boxes together to ship the 4' coves.

And to add insult to injury, the pad was a cheap, thin, white fabric, which was not the pad I thought I was buying, according to the pictures on the website. But I had to use it anyway because by the time I received it, we barely had time to get the pool up and fill it for my daughter's birthday. So I left a message for Pool Supply Unlimited, but it took weeks to get a call back.

Finally, on July 3rd, I got a call from a representative who was very nice and apologetic. She said that I would get an email confirming a refund in 2-3 business days. But guess what? I never got that email. I have been emailing back and forth with this company since early July trying to resolve all the issues with my order. I even went to the trouble of sending the coves back, and still, no refund.

I feel like I've been taken advantage of by this company. I've dealt with three different people, and none of them have been able to help me get my money back. I would definitely not recommend giving Pool Supply Unlimited your business.

Ordered a pool heater from Pool Supply Unlimited (poolsupplyunlimited.com) but unfortunately, they lied to me to get the sale. I double-checked with them on two different occasions to confirm that the item was in stock before placing the order. Despite their reassurances that they had it in stock, it has not been shipped to me as of yet (as of April 13th, 2021) and was, in fact, on national backorder. Their excuse was that it may take up to three months to be delivered.

I'm extremely disappointed with their service as they gave me incorrect information and didn't communicate with me about the delay in delivery - instead, I had to follow up several times to find out what was happening with my order. It's frustrating to order something for it not to arrive when promised especially when paying for expedited shipping.

I would not recommend using their service based on my experience. It's important to get honest and accurate information from companies before making a purchase it's hard to plan anything knowing you have to wait 3 or more months for an order.

As a side note, I did appreciate their cancellation policy offered and the help giving me an update about shipping though it would have been faster if they let me know as soon as possible about the backorder.

I immediately got in touch with the support team via email but did not get a response for four long days. I sent them another email and this time, I received a reply from a person named Joe Hamassian. He informed me that they would need to contact the claims department. However, I didn't receive any further updates after that.

A few days later, I received a call from Joe. Unfortunately, his tone was incredibly rude. I had to call him out for it. Eventually, the issue was resolved by having the damaged product picked up by UPS and having another one shipped out. I promptly packed it up, and UPS did the needful the very next day.

But then came the next problem. When I contacted Joe to inform him that UPS had picked up the product, he informed me that they were still waiting for the funds to be credited by UPS before shipping me another one. This left me very puzzled - what did he mean by that? A week went by, and still, no product was delivered. Each time I tried to follow up, Joe's response was not very helpful. He said, "I know it's easier to blame us, but unfortunately that's how it works. If you'd like, purchase the fridge elsewhere, we will refund you."

Needless to say, I was quite disgusted by this response. Overall, my experience with Pool Supply Unlimited was terrible. I had to waste three long weeks waiting for them to give me back my money. In the end, I decided to purchase the same fridge from Amazon - and guess what? It was cheaper, and it arrived in just two days.

I recently purchased some items from Pool Supply Unlimited (poolsupplyunlimited.com), but unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the condition in which I received them. The polls I ordered were scratched, and the square backboard was also scratched. I am currently trying to return the items, but getting the help I need has been a frustrating experience.

After three messages, I finally received an email with three options to choose from - if I received my item and need to return it, if I want to change my order, or if I have not received it yet. Unfortunately, selecting option one did not provide any information on returns and brought me to a survey.

I need these items delivered by 5/7/20 because that is when the concrete is being poured. Despite me mentioning this multiple times, I have received no assistance from the company. To top it off, this item wasn't cheap. I purchased a high-end pool basketball hoop with cement anchors and expected better customer service for the price. I am still trying to return the boxes for this item as I write this review. Finally, I received a response from the company with only one return label. I have sent two more messages asking for three additional labels, but no one replies, and yet another automated email is what I get back.

At this point, all I want are four return labels so I can send the damaged items back and receive a refund. Overall, the customer service has been terrible, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered me a pool from this website back in April of this year. Waited and waited 'til June and finally, the pool arrived but in the wrong size! Tried calling them but nobody picked up the phone. Left an email but nobody replied. Tried online chats and it was only intermittently responsive. Finally, I got hold of an agent named Debbie through chat and asked her to call me but she didn't. When I finally got a chance to talk to them via phone, Debbie took no responsibility for never calling me back, and even blamed the warehouse for sending the wrong pool. To make matters worse, she refused to give me a refund or any information on when the correct pool would arrive. I live in New England, where summers only last 3 months, so I asked for a refund so I could buy from a local store but Debbie refused. She was rude, condescending, and not helpful at all. This company is the worst I've ever dealt with in terms of customer service and organization. They're impossible to communicate with via telephone, online chats, and email. If you want to avoid the awful experience I had, please don't order anything from them. I'm writing this review everywhere I can to save others from the same mistake I made.

I gotta say, I ordered a slide for my pool from Pool Supply Unlimited way back in November last year, and boy oh boy did I have some issues! The website told me it would ship within 75 days, which seemed like a long time but I was willing to wait. By this point, I was starting to get a little concerned; after all, I had a pool installation planned for April, and I needed that slide!

So, I decided to ask for a refund on the slide. They eventually refunded my money, but interestingly enough, they didn't initially refund my money for the hardware. It was only when I asked why they didn't refund it that I got a bit of a snarky response from them.

Now, I don't know about you, but I feel like someone who's spent a lot of money with a company deserves better than that. In all my years of owning businesses, I would never have treated a customer that way! I mean, I get that they probably had a lot of things going on, what with the pandemic and all, but come on, guys. You gotta keep your customers informed!

Anyway, long story short, I'm not planning on giving Pool Supply Unlimited any more of my business. Their prices might be good, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If you're looking for a pool supply company that'll take care of you, I suggest you keep looking.

Initially, I had purchased two crank wands from Pool Supply Unlimited to use for my outdoor sunscreens over my patio. However, I encountered major issues with the company. Twenty-two hours after placing my order, I had not received any notification that my order had shipped. So, I decided to cancel it and sent a request to do so. To my surprise, just an hour later, I received a shipping notification from Pool Supply Unlimited. But when I checked the status of my order on the UPS website, I found out that the item had not been picked up by UPS yet. It was clear that the company had lied to me instead of canceling my order.

In another instance, I attempted to call both of the phone numbers listed on their website but no one answered. After consecutively calling their ***337 for about 10 times, I finally got someone to pick up. It’s extremely unprofessional to have an answering machine answering their calls. A customer call should be answered right away.

My experience only got worse when the package arrived. Pool Supply Unlimited had shipped two crank wands in a flimsy two-piece box that was barely taped together. As a result of poor packaging, the box was bent and one of my crank wands was damaged while the other was missing. I ordered similar products from another vendor and was surprised to see how well the box was braced and protected on the corners to ensure it would not bend during shipment. A company that truly cares about customer service will make sure to package their products carefully and protect them from damage during shipment.

I wouldn't recommend buying from them. You can also check one-star reviews on various review sites (e.g., Google, Trust Pilot, etc.) before you even consider ordering from them. Anyway, their response was pretty confusing. They told me that they hadn't actually charged my card, but I could clearly see the charge on my AMEX account. And then, a refund for the same amount showed up from them. So, if they didn't charge my card, why did they refund me? It just didn't make any sense to me.

They told me to send it back and order the right one, so I did. I paid for the propane heater and waited for my credit, but it never came. After a couple of billing cycles, I finally asked what was up, and they told me the heater came back damaged and I needed to file a claim. But get this - I can't file a claim after 60 days! So now I'm stuck with two loans, three shipping charges, and no credit. And even though they say they won't sell the damaged heater, I'm pretty sure it won't just sit there forever. I'm never doing business with these guys again, and if I could give them zero stars, I totally would.

I recently purchased the Kreepy Krauly Kruiser suction side pool cleaner from Pool Supply Unlimited on June 6th, and it arrived in just two days on June 8th! Unfortunately, I ran into some trouble when I installed it in my pool the next day. The cleaner seemed to get stuck on the pool's bottom surface and would not move around the pool as it was supposed to do.

After contacting Pentair (the manufacturer), they suggested that I set the pump rpms to 1800 and remove two hose sections to try and get the cleaner to move. However, even after following their directions, the cleaner remained stuck in place. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated.

To make matters worse, when I opened the box, I noticed that the plastic wrappers for all of the items were previously opened and not in factory un-broken shape. It seems that the cleaner had been previously shipped and returned at least once before.

I immediately reached out to customer service regarding the skimmer and was told that I would be refunded. However, a week later, they only put $75 back on my card, only to pull it right back out. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed and frustrated with the service I received from Pool Supply Unlimited.

In conclusion, I would not recommend buying from this company as they do not seem to care about customer service once they get your money. It was a stressful and frustrating experience, and I regret not doing more research before making my purchase. Save yourself the trouble and find another supplier.

Pool Supply Unlimited is a store that sells pool equipment, and let me tell you, it's located pretty close to where I live. I decided to give them a call to find out more about purchasing a pool pump, but wouldn't you know it, the phone said they were a busy bunch and didn't have time for me! So I thought, why not send them a message through their website instead? I asked if I could just come on down and purchase the pump in-person, or if they preferred shipping. But guess what? They never answered my question! Sheesh, what a disappointment. All they did was add my email to their Marketing list.

In the end, I just decided to go online and buy it from their website since shipping is free. But boy, did it take a while to get here. It took a whole ten days! And the most frustrating thing was that there was no way to track my purchase. The shipping company they used said that it had to be delivered to me personally, so I cleared an entire morning to be home. But wouldn't you know, it wasn't until almost 1pm that they finally arrived. I could have used that time to drive the 20 miles to their store, buy the pump, eat out for lunch, and drive back home! If only they had answered my call or email in a timely manner.

Overall, I think Pool Supply Unlimited is an alright store. But they definitely need to work on their communication skills. It's not cool to add someone to an email list without their permission, and when someone sends a message through their website, they should answer it. I'm not sure if I would buy from them again, unless they can get their act together.

Not A Good Experience. I would NOT recommend this company. I ordered a water slide on June 8th. However, I received the wrong slide. When I contacted customer service to replace it, their response was less than satisfactory. They were unable to help me out. So, I went directly to the manufacturer and managed to get a new slide myself. That was 3 months ago, and the old slide is still sitting in my yard. Unfortunately, it's extremely heavy and impossible to move by myself. The company promised to send someone to pick it up, but no one ever came. What's worse, the boxes it was supposed to be packed in got ruined by bad weather. This was a big issue, because I even injured my knee trying to pack the old slide. Recently, I received a new box, but the date for pick up is not mentioned. That means I must pack this 400lb slide in the same heavy box again and still haven't received any help from the company. The customer service representatives have not been very professional or helpful. They seem to be indifferent to the things that I am going through, and unaware of their impact on people's lives. Therefore, I would strongly suggest that you find a different company to buy from.

So, we bought a darn pool heater from Pool Supply Unlimited in a jiffy, hoping to replace our old one with the exact same model. Well, we got it alright, but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get it to work. We gave this company a real earful, leaving voicemail after voicemail, and shooting off emails all day, but no response. Zilch. Nada. Goose egg!

Finally, we decided to call in the big guns and got a professional Pentair Service Company to check it out. They recommended a few parts that needed replacing, so we called up Pentair directly and snapped up a new ignitor and pressure valve switch. The servicing company installed the parts, but you guessed it - the heater still refused to work!

What in tarnation is going on with these folks at Pool Supply Unlimited? Do they think they can just ignore their customers like some pesky fly buzzing around their ears? Not on our watch! We're giving them the old one-star treatment until they step up and sort this issue out. Something tells me it's time to give the BBB a holler and wave the red flag.

Overall, if you're looking to buy a pool heater, you might want to take your business elsewhere. Don't say we didn't warn you!
