I gotta say, I had a pretty rough experience with Pool Supply Unlimited. I was really excited to find an expensive item on their website that I had been searching for, so I went ahead and made the purchase. But then, they charged my credit card right away, before even sending me an email to let me know that the item might not be available for months. I was pretty upset about this, and I reached out to them to ask why they would charge my card before shipping the item. I mean, that just seems shady to me, you know?

Anyway, their response was pretty confusing. They told me that they hadn't actually charged my card, but I could clearly see the charge on my AMEX account. And then, a refund for the same amount showed up from them. So, if they didn't charge my card, why did they refund me? It just didn't make any sense to me.

To make matters worse, they then sent me an email basically telling me to take my business elsewhere. I mean, seriously? Do they really think I'm going to trust them with any future orders after this experience? I don't think so.

All in all, I would definitely recommend staying away from Pool Supply Unlimited. They just don't seem to have their act together, and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through what I did.

So now I'm stuck with two loans, three shipping charges, and no credit. And even though they say they won't sell the damaged heater, I'm pretty sure it won't just sit there forever. I'm never doing business with these guys again, and if I could give them zero stars, I totally would.

Unfortunately, it took two more phone calls and four days before I finally received confirmation that they were giving me a refund.

I recently purchased the Kreepy Krauly Kruiser suction side pool cleaner from Pool Supply Unlimited on June 6th, and it arrived in just two days on June 8th! Unfortunately, I ran into some trouble when I installed it in my pool the next day. The cleaner seemed to get stuck on the pool's bottom surface and would not move around the pool as it was supposed to do.

After contacting Pentair (the manufacturer), they suggested that I set the pump rpms to 1800 and remove two hose sections to try and get the cleaner to move. However, even after following their directions, the cleaner remained stuck in place. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated.

To make matters worse, when I opened the box, I noticed that the plastic wrappers for all of the items were previously opened and not in factory un-broken shape. It seems that the cleaner had been previously shipped and returned at least once before.

When the kit finally arrived, I was excited to get started on the installation. I made sure that the ground was level, clean, and layered with two inches of masonry sand. Additionally, I made sure to cover the ground with black 6 mil plastic before carrying the liner to the center for assembly. This is where things started to go downhill.

As a result, I was hesitant to use it, but my grandsons had already waited for weeks and did not want to wait any longer. Pool Supply Unlimited is a store that sells pool equipment, and let me tell you, it's located pretty close to where I live. I decided to give them a call to find out more about purchasing a pool pump, but wouldn't you know it, the phone said they were a busy bunch and didn't have time for me! So I thought, why not send them a message through their website instead? I asked if I could just come on down and purchase the pump in-person, or if they preferred shipping. But guess what? They never answered my question! Sheesh, what a disappointment. All they did was add my email to their Marketing list.

In the end, I just decided to go online and buy it from their website since shipping is free. But boy, did it take a while to get here. It took a whole ten days! And the most frustrating thing was that there was no way to track my purchase. The shipping company they used said that it had to be delivered to me personally, so I cleared an entire morning to be home. But wouldn't you know, it wasn't until almost 1pm that they finally arrived. I could have used that time to drive the 20 miles to their store, buy the pump, eat out for lunch, and drive back home! Not A Good Experience. I would NOT recommend this company. I ordered a water slide on June 8th. However, I received the wrong slide. When I contacted customer service to replace it, their response was less than satisfactory. They were unable to help me out. So, I went directly to the manufacturer and managed to get a new slide myself. That was 3 months ago, and the old slide is still sitting in my yard. Unfortunately, it's extremely heavy and impossible to move by myself. The company promised to send someone to pick it up, but no one ever came. What's worse, the boxes it was supposed to be packed in got ruined by bad weather. This was a big issue, because I even injured my knee trying to pack the old slide. Recently, I received a new box, but the date for pick up is not mentioned. That means I must pack this 400lb slide in the same heavy box again and still haven't received any help from the company. The customer service representatives have not been very professional or helpful. They seem to be indifferent to the things that I am going through, and unaware of their impact on people's lives. Therefore, I would strongly suggest that you find a different company to buy from.

Well, we got it alright, but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn't get it to work. Finally, we decided to call in the big guns and got a professional Pentair Service Company to check it out. They recommended a few parts that needed replacing, so we called up Pentair directly and snapped up a new ignitor and pressure valve switch. The servicing company installed the parts, but you guessed it - the heater still refused to work!

What in tarnation is going on with these folks at Pool Supply Unlimited? Do they think they can just ignore their customers like some pesky fly buzzing around their ears? Not on our watch! We're giving them the old one-star treatment until they step up and sort this issue out. Something tells me it's time to give the BBB a holler and wave the red flag.
