I wanna give a shoutout to the peeps at Johnson Pools for keeping me in the loop for the past 4 months
I wanna give a shoutout to the peeps at Johnson Pools for keeping me in the loop for the past 4 months. Dawn, Sharon, and Dan were all straight up with me and my install even started earlier than I thought. The whole team was chill and respectful. I'm not the easiest customer, but they gave me top-notch service and followed up like champs. I'd recommend Johnson Pools, LLC to anyone, no complaints here. Just wanted to share my experience.
I emailed Johnson Pools, but they never called me back
I emailed Johnson Pools, but they never called me back. I got tired of waiting and bad customer service. They didn't even tell me what was going on. I needed them to finish the job, but they cut the ground wire instead of unscrewing it. I called them a lot, but they always said it would be done by spring. It's August now and still nothing. I hired someone else to do it in one day. I don't want their services anymore. -Mike Emigh
It took 3 months for Johnson Pools, Inc
It took 3 months for Johnson Pools, Inc. to start the work after we paid the deposit. They were supposed to resurface our in-ground pool but we had to call their office every week to find out what was going on. The woman who answered the phone was rude and didn't have any information. They started the job without all the supplies they needed. Dawn promised us compensation for their bad customer service and mistakes, but when we pointed it out on the final bill they said it wasn't their fault. They used a subcontractor named Mohammed from Goodway Plastering Pools and Services llc. They didn't show up on the day they were supposed to and drained silt on our grass instead of where we told them to. They left trash every day and we had to clean it up for our pets. It took a long time to drain the pool because their pumps didn't work. Johnson blamed Goodway and Goodway blamed Johnson. When the work was done, there was a lot of gritty debris in the pool and the filtration system didn't work. We found balls of tape blocking the system and had to vacuum the debris every day. We could say more, but it's pointless. If you want to feel like you're bothering them, hire this company.

Gave the okay for our pool to get fixed on January 28
Gave the okay for our pool to get fixed on January 28. We paid half $2647.50 and they said it would take 16-18 weeks to get it done. I called a few times to check on it and they just keep saying the same thing. Next week is the 18th week and they still can't give us a straight answer even though they said it would be done by May 17th. The people in the office just keep saying "they'll get to us when they get to us."

I paid Johnson Pools Inc
I paid Johnson Pools Inc. 6 months ago to put in a new pool liner, but they still haven't done it. I talked to Michelle on April 15 about it and she said I needed to give them 50% of the money upfront, so I gave them $2,117.50. They came to measure the pool on April 24 and said they would call us when they got the new liner. It's been 3 months and they still haven't called us. Every time I call, they give me excuses about why they haven't done it yet. I keep asking to talk to the owner, Dan, but he never calls me back.
We made a deal with Dan Johnson from Johnson Pools in October
We made a deal with Dan Johnson from Johnson Pools in October . We paid the deposit for the liner and agreed to have our back wall rebuilt, a light installed, a new liner, and new concrete poured. They said it would take 6-8 weeks for the liner to come in and then we would be added to the install list. Our liner came in January, but we didn't hear back from them when we called for an update. An installer finally came to our house in March without notice, but he left when he saw that the deep end wall still needed repair. We called the front office and spoke with Dawn, who said it was a mistake and he went to the wrong address. We call every week to get an update and get told, "we're on the list and they will call us back with an update." and "I will put a note on Dan's desk to have him call you." Dan never called us. A month and a half ago we were told we had 3 people ahead of us, and this has been going on for months.
Johnson pools was a month late starting my pool and never kept me updated
Johnson pools was a month late starting my pool and never kept me updated. Once the hole was dug, they stopped showing up and never called or emailed me. I'm waiting on the cool decking process and it's been over 40 days. They promised to finish the job by Nov 26th, but I haven't heard back from them. I've called and emailed with no response. The last email was rude and unprofessional. They said they'll get to it when they're ready. I can't finish my backyard projects until it's done and my pool loan is expiring. I've requested three extensions, but the owner of Johnson's Pool doesn't care. Please help me!
Pool put in September
Pool put in September . All good except two slabs of pool-deck cement are graded wrong and water flows toward house instead of french drain. Contacted company many times before they sent out a technician who looked at it and said "yup-it's graded wrong" but the owner would have to look at it before it can be fixed. Tried 10-12 times over last 3-4 months to contact owner and am every time I am told-"I'll leave a note on his desk and he'll get back with you". All I'm asking is that *** give me a phone call. He has had to have five minutes sometime in the last four months to call me. When I asked for his direct number I was told they are not allowed to give that out so I guess I am supposed to just keep calling and leaving messages that he never replies to. I understand it's the busy season for pool installers but a phone call to tell me that it will be repaired would go a long way to support customer service. I did not want to go the route of filing a formal complaint with the ComplaintsBoard.com but it seems all other avenues to get my pool deck fixed fall on deaf ears.
Pool liner replacement bill needs to be fixed
Pool liner replacement bill needs to be fixed. Johnson's Pool gave me an estimate of $3495 to replace the pool liner. I paid half before the job was done and the other half after the job was done. So, I paid a total of $3495. I asked the pool company to be contacted before they start changing the liner since this job was being done at my rental house. They only contacted me after the job was complete by sending a bill on April 7 with an extra $300 charge for algae clean up. Not only they didn't inform me in advance about the extra charge, nor they provided any proof for the extra work they claim they did. I called the office and told them that I refuse to pay it since I was not made aware of it in advance. Then, the same day they sent me an adjusted bill with a $300 credit for algae clean up. However, on May 4 (a month later) they sent me another bill for $600. They have been very unprofessional since the beginning. They failed to communicate with me at any point about the extra work. Also, I feel they are dishonest because they keep charging whatever they feel like. They have never informed me and received any approval from me about the extra work they claim they did. Finally, they did not do the job satisfactorily. I am informed by my tenant that the new liner is pulling off. I have a photo to prove it.
Johnson Pools did my pool in January for $41,671 with a one year warranty
Johnson Pools did my pool in January for $41,671 with a one year warranty. The grout around the brick coping has been falling out and I emailed them on 6/1, 7/8 and 10/18 with pictures. On 10/2 they said they would fix it, but on 12/4 I asked when it would be done and got no answer. I called on 12/13 for the owner's number, but they didn't have it. An employee took a picture and said he would fix it. I have to add water every two and a half days, but Johnson Pools said it's evaporation. I asked a pool store and a leak company and they said it's probably a leak. Johnson's sent a leak guy in a truck with no name who said there's no leak. I paid for another leak test and American Leak Detection found a leak around a light. I sent pictures of water on the concrete pad on 10/18, 10/19, 11/24 and 11/30. On 12/4 I asked if they got the info and when it would be fixed, but got no answer. I went to Johnson Pools three times and they said they can't help me.
