bad service
I'm so upset! My kids had an appointment on 3/30 to take pictures for Easter at 5:40. I had to be some were at 7:20. When we arrive there were 20 people waiting to take pictures. My feelings was so hurt that my babies couldn't take there pics because they called at 7 o'clock to take the pics and we had to leave. I don't think it's fair we scheduled an appointment and don't get seen til a hour and a half later. They wouldn't even reschedule me. That's bull!

I have used portrait innovations since my daughter was 5 weeks old and she is 6 now. I have 3 children with her being the oldest and then I have 14 month old twin boys...we have taken tons of pictures using this company. On March 18, 2018 I went to the portrait innovations in Macon, GA to have Easter pictures taken of my 3 children. I have a picture taken of my oldest and one of my twins but when I asked for a picture of my oldest with the other twin I was told that wasn't protocol. I dont like being told what pictures I havw to take and being a customer for over 6 years have never had this problem before. It is bad enough that y'all closed the PI near my house (in Valdosta GA) and now I have to drive 2.5 hours to get to one. I use PI for my pictures about once a month and have never had problems until today.

Called and scheduled appointment . The morning of the appointment the studio called to see if I could reschedule due to the last employs quitting and she didnt have enough help. Rescheduled for the following week and when we went in for out portraits the printer was not working and we had to go back the next day for the prints. When we picked up the prints upon getting home and reviewing our special effects was the wrong one and the picture was off center part of the kid was cut off being the reason we did not choose that print. The girl that was tjere was very nice but spread to thin and was trying to train the girl taking our pictures and we had an infant in our session. And the photographer had never had an infant and was insecure with what she was doing. Both were very nice but one was inexperienced and the other was spread to thin. This was my first time using your company and I was very disappointed and feel that it was an inconvenience to have to return to pick up my prints.

On 3/9/2018, I went to take some pictures for my 30th birthday. Before I got there they called me and told me that they only had 2 photographers and that I wpuld have needed to reachedule or come early in which I had took off work and had my makeup schedule on today. So the lady was like you can come in but there will be a wait.. So once I get there we get our photos taken and not to mention there was 3 photographers there. So when its time to review and pay, we was working with OUR photographer and as he was going through our photos there was only 1 picture that I liked out of the 60 he took. So they lady who was taking pictures of a baby, stopped and pulled our guy away from our session to tell him that we cant get the special because its for 18 and under... In which I didnt understand because me and my husband took our engagement pictures there and we were able to use the special but that was fine.. My whole concern is if we are working with someone it is quite rude to pull him away to tell him we cant get the special... I had no problem paying $70 for a package but it was only 1 photo I like and he explained to us that we could pay 37 for one sheet of a 8'10 picture and I explained to him had he told us then I would have been okay with it but since she rudely walked up and pulled him from his session (and stop her own session)then I would have definitely paid for the package even though I only liked 1 picture from it..

I am very disappointed in the service I received today 1/14/2018 at Portrait Innovation in Richmond, Va Shortpump location. When first arrived there was no one to greet me, I waited for 15mins until a Associate Andrea G help me. She was 100% horrible she did not set up props my cousin did. She also stated when we came in she was in the back sleeping ! I am very disappointed in my service and definitely will not come back again. As my daughter birthday pictures are messed up !
not receiving product ordered
We took family portraits on 12/9 which was supposed to include 2 memory books that were supposed to arrive in it before 12/22. Called on 12/22 to see if books had arrived and was told about a delay in their end. We had some misprint as well which we were having corrected when we picked up books. Tried calling last week and number was not in service. Called another location and was notified that location had closed down. We still do not have books, misprints, and a disk with pictures that could only be reprinted at that location. We were given an incorrect customer support number from the other location. Tucked about being cheated out of what we purchased!

I made an appointment for my family for family portrait. We arrived on time. One of the workers I am assuming manager proceed to tell me because I took a friend group photo last week that I could not get $29.99 special because I had taken picture already last week. I had no problem with this even though I did not make reservation last week. We take group Christmas pictures over 5 years now every year. Me and my friends have spent hundreds of dollars on pictures. I did not like the way I was spoken too. The manager I assumed told me we cannot just give away free canvases. She act as though. I wanted something for nothing. Me and my husband are perfectly capable of affording to Purchase whatever package you have. We could of purchased anything in business. I felt rush and I felt photographer did not pay attention to details. She had to reprint one of our pictures because she cut off 2 of my children's hair. I could not enjoy my photo appointment. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I would of preferred to pay hundreds of dollars and go to a studio that would of appreciated me and my family. I am very disappointed with the service I received including pictures. Not to be conceited but thank God my family is beautiful and very photogenic I almost wanted to walk out but my childrem here from out of town and will be leaving after Christmas. I know it is Christmas Eve but if they were in that much of a hurry they should not of had appointment avaolable past 4pm.

My appointment was scheduled at 2:05. Didn't get called until 5:45 which was almost closing time and the location was still full of people. Sat at the background for almost an hour waiting for someone to come take the pictures. Finally got to pick the one i wanted with the coupon and it not the picture i wanted and the cd disc is blank. No pictures or anything on it. Everybody was rushing and we didn't get to do the wardrobe change and see what else they had to offer because they was trying to get us in and out no matter what the pictures looked like. They expect us to pay hundreds of dollars on bull crap. So now what do i do ? Can i have all my pictures ?

Hi my name is Erica Taylor I took pictures with my kids on dec 17th so that I can send my holiday pictures off in time I got there I was told my pictures wasn't gonna be ready when they should have called me the night before the young lady was so rude to me in front of my kids then told me they will be ready Monday then they told me Tuesday then it went to Wednesday and I still don't have my pictures didn't receive a call I so happen to call on Friday oh your pictures is here this is dec22 I'm not able to send off my pictures to family members for the holidays because they don't communicate and they are very rude after I spent my money with this company I'm very unhappy and do not want to attend there again
late and unprofessional employees
We have gone to portrait innovation several times, this will be the last time we ever do business with you. We just came in today at the opening and one employee was there, she said she didn't know where the other employees were. They showed up for work 45 mins late, then instead of working began chatting with the other employees with no regard to several families who were on time waiting for them! This has been a routine experience where your employees don't care about the work they do. It's obvious they aren't their for the customers but for a paycheck. We've had enough, last time we will do business with you. We'd rather pay for a professional and pay more than pay less than 100 dollars for a horrible experience. We give our hard earned money to a business that cares about giving the best to their customers.

My appointment was scheduled at the Macon store for 545, I showed up 10 minutes early, it took the staff 10 to 15 minutes to even acknowledge that I was there. Everything seemed so unorganized, I waited with 2 kids a 4 year old and a 11 month old! Which made it even more irritable! NOT TO MENTION WE WAITED 2 HOURS! And was never checked on or told that we would be next or when or how much longer we would have to wait! The staff wasn't friendly at all! I live almost an hour and a half way! This was a waste of time, energy and gas! For times like this you'll should be extra staffed... Please tell me something can be done.. I had pack my tired babies home... Not to mention we still didn't get to take pictures!

This was my first time to the portrait studio on 12-16-2017 and was the worst experience of my life. I had a 2:40p.m. appt arrived at 2:30 we were not called back until 5:30p.m. there excuse was they couldn't control the online appointment booking. How very unprofessional I had my 2 grandchildren one being an infant, how can you expect children to be cooperative better yet jolly or merry when they've been sitting for hours in holiday attire. If you guys don't know how to accurately schedule sessions with time allowance for the different poses you take you need to find a new business how very rude and inconsiderate to your customers.

I purchased pictures from a photo shoot for my grandson's 1 month old pictures on October 21, 2017 at the Portrait Innovations in Hoover Alabama. At the time of the photo shoot their printer was down & they didn't know when it would be back up but we were told that we would be contacted when the pictures & photo-books would be ready for pick up. On November 8, 2017, we received an email stating that the photo-books were ready for pick up but no correspondence regarding the actual pictures. After that which was at about 3 weeks I started calling customer service & was told that their printer had been back up. Customer Service called the location & came back with a solution. Since we lived an hour away from the portrait studio they said they would mail our pictures as a courtesy. After that I called several more times when the pictures never arrived in the mail. On November 27, 2017 I spoke with another representative for the final time in which she stated that she would call me back with a tracking number for the pictures but never received a final call with the tracking information. During that call, I shared with the As of December 15, 2017 & my grandson now being 3 months old we have yet to receive these printed pictures or photo-books. I am very disappointed in Portrait Innovations as we were 1st time customers who reside in Tuscaloosa Alabama.

The promotions this place advertises are just a bait and switch scam. I went in for a $29.99 Christmas promotion and was pushed to buy a $500+ package without asking what package I was interested in.
I arrived 15 minutes early for a 3:30 appointment and I was told they were running hours behind. I went to see a 4:00PM movie arrived back at the studio at 6:00PM and was told there were still six people ahead of me. The coworkers were arguing with each other, all customers were asking the same questions why are they waiting for hours? We didn't start taking pictures until almost 7:30PM!
They overbooked clients 10minutes apart, unacceptable. We didn't get out of there until just after 8:30pm from a 3:30pm appointment! There was no leadership in the business and the place was in complete disarray and the processes are not coordinated.
I am very unhappy with my experience which I will share with others. I called to even purchase more pictures the next day and was told the pictures I did not purchase were deleted. I would like those pictures recovered that is possible! I would like those pictures for free to resolve this issue!

extremely long wait, subpar sales help
I went to the location in Greenville SC on 12/10. Our appointment was for 4:50. We had a 8 year and 2 month old. We arrived at 4:30 and were told we were early and to sit. There was no where to sit so we had to sit on the floor. We didn't get called back for pictures until 6pm. By this time we were just ready to get them over with. After about 5-6 minutes of them taking our picture, we were sent back out to wait until someone could help us to view our pictures. The sales girl did not listen to what pictures I wanted or what sizes. It took longer than it should have for something so simple. We then had to once again sit in the floor while we waited on our pictures to print. The location closed at 6 from bar we were told and there had to be around 8-9 families still waiting when we left at 7pm. I will not be returning. I was also told if I had an issue we could call corporate because corporate makes them schedule apppointments every 5 minutes. I was extremely frustrated. We used to use the Anderson location and NEVER had this issue.

My appointment was at 11:50, but when I arrived they told me corporate overbooked them. I wish they had called me because I had two kids with me. I waited 2 hours to get the pictures taken, 30 minutes to review the pictures and another 45 minutes to get the pictures! Unacceptable! This was my first experience! I think you should compensate everyone for there troubles.

Appointment at 4:50. 6pm comes we haven't heard anything. Other people who got there at 3 pm are still there. The appointments were extremely over booked and the ENTIRE staff didn't seem to have a care in the world. We had to sit on the floor! Waiting for nothing. When we asked about the wait. The lady at the front desk was downright hateful. Finally we decided enough was enough and we cancelled. We didn't get so much as a look or an apology for time of my life that we can't get back! I know it's christmas time and that business is busier than usual but they knew that everything was overbooked. How inconsiderate to waste everyone's time! I want the manager to call and speak with me and I want amends to be made. I am infuriated! -1/10 would never recommend to my worst enemy.

I'm currently waiting to take photos, and had a 3:25 appointment. Upon check in at 3:10, I was told that there was about an hour wait. Returning an hour later, I was told there were six families ahead of me and that the Corporate Office books appointments every five minutes. It is unreasonable to expect a family, regardless of the size to wait in excess of 60 minutes. Further, expecting someone to arrive on time or a few minutes early only to wait & wait is unprofessional & ridiculous. There should be some sort of discount or something offered to those whose appointments aren't honored in a timely fashion. In addition to this online submission, I will be following up with a phone call and or a letter. This outrageous wait and backup sends the message that your company does not care about their customers.

We arrived for our appointment at 12:20 for family photos. We have 2 kids, a 2 year old and a 10 year old. After waiting for 2 hours, continually asking how long it would be, we were blatantly lied to and told we were next every 20 minutes. By the time they finally got us back, it was 2:40, our son was very tired and we couldn't get a good pic. The lady who was taking our pics just gave up at 50 pics and we had nothing good to choose from. We ended up getting 3 pictures. One package, then paid for 2 8x10's that we paid $30 a piece for. The 2 8x10's are so dark, you can barely see us. The other pics that needed cut up were cut off on the bottom. The cd that we received only had 1 pic on it instead of the 3 we paid for. My husband is medically retired from the military from injuries sustained in Afghanistan and of all the places we've lived and had our pics done, we've never been treated so rudely and rushed through our pics because they were behind. For how much we had to pay for the pictures, they should've been much higher quality. And as for the wait, we will never go back. We've had pics done there 2 other times and this time was a whole different experience. One of the photographers had his pants sagging down to his knees and my daughter was talking about his butt and underwear being out, completely unprofessional. I would either like a refund for the terrible pics I had to buy or a retake session. Very disappointed with how we were treated today. Please call me at [protected] so we can fix this wrong.
