I had a bad experience with the employee Elizabeth at portrait innovations in southaven Mississippi she was very rude all 3 times I have went to portrait innovations, she rushed her work which was so unprofessional, she talked very rude and smart to us and her attitude was very nasty . I referred my best friend to get her pics done there and she had the same experience with the young lady Elizabeth and a few more customers were having the same issue with the same young lady
portraits/ service and customer service
I had taken my daughter for her senior portraits to the studio in Hickory, NC. The pictures I chose once we were ordering were not the ones that I received when I picked up the pictures once they were printed. The pictures the girl gave me were so dark you couldnt see them well. I didnt look at them before I left with them because I was in a hurry (I had already been there for a few hours). She rushed through the ordering process and didnt give me time to really pick what I wanted. Not sure if it was because it was only her and one other girl working and the other girl was sick and had to leave and there were a few other customers waiting and she was the only one there. Later on another girl showed up to help her. Then i get email saying order is ready and make two trips to pick up canvas and book and the doors are locked this is on Tuesday. The sign on the door clearly states open tuesday thru sunday 9am to 6pm. I have a picture of the sign. I then call the number to the store and some lady tells me that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday. Ok why does your sign say different? I pay shipping and handling fee but have to make another trip to the studio which is 45 minutes away one way. Since we pay those fees why are they not delivered to us at our home. I had problems with them once before and thought maybe they would be different this time but nope. So now I just wasted time and gas for a second time. And not to mention the firl had no idea on any poses to use for senior pictures. She was asking us and had us to wait while she googled some ideas.

I had a scheduled appointment for Saturday 5:10 p.m. I arrive 15 minutes early I was not greeted the gentleman took my name and walked off I waited an hour and a half no one spoke to me no one let me know they were running behind I finally asked a lady when she finally went up to the counter to check someone out how much longer it would be she was very rude and had an awful attitude and told me that it would be at least another 2 to 4 hours because people showed up late there were still 10 people ahead of me no one called me to let me know that they were running behind schedule to see if I wanted to reschedule my appointment or to show up late no one told me when I checked in that they were running behind schedule instead the staff was rude and when I told her that I made my appointment and I did not want to wait another 4 hours because I had children who were getting restless she said fine I will cancel your appointment and that was it didn't ask me if I wanted to reschedule I have used you guys previously before and Kansas and you were amazing but this location in Clearwater Florida is awful and I will never use your services again I cannot believe how I was treated and how this company is ran I've read the reviews on Google and no one has anything good to say about this location and yet it seems like nothing has been done to make things better and to top it all off the location was disgusting there were dirty diapers tissues and trash all over the floor it was disgusting I would definitely recommend that you look into this issue and fix it before you lose a lot of business I would rather pay a lot more money and go with a company who treats their customers with respect.

I had to come up with every pose and hurry up. We were in and out of the actual photo part in less then 30 minutes. I wont be returning to this location because of his unprofessionalism. I spent a lot of money and am very very upset with the service.
horrible experience!
Our appointment was set for 515 pm. We show up at 445. We are sitting there intel 630 when I finally walk up to the desk and ask how much longer. The lady informs me that there is still 6-8 people in front of us because they had a lot of walk ins! I was never even spoken to or never was even offered some time of resovlement in the issue. I was not happy. I drove an hour just to sit there and not even have my family's picture taken.
staff did not listen to my request
I set up an appointment for my 6 month old niece on Saturday. We arrived 10 minutes early but still waited an hour to be photographed. I set up the appointment online and specified that i wanted Easter/Spring pics. Upon arrival when we checked in I again asked for Easter pics. When the photographer finally got to us she pulled down a pink and white polka dotted background. I told her I didn't like the background and I wanted Easter pics done. She informed me that she would only take a few with this background and change the background. She stated this background matched her dress. She took more than 1/2 the pics on this background. She then changed the background to solid white. Again I asked for an Easter background. I was ignored. The third background was a rustic blue barn. Again I told her I didn't like the background. Again I was ignored. I bought the basic package but was told i could view the pics online to show family if anyone wanted to order anything. I am not able to view anything online except the one picture i ordered.

I am writing about my experience with your store in Nashua N.H.
This was my second time getting pictures done. Heather helped me both times. Both times I was not impressed with her.
The reason I am writing a complaint is because I did not receive my photos in my email like I did the first time I got pictures taken. When I called and spoke to Heather she told me that that is because I only purchased one photo (the 19.99 special package)
the first time I got pictures done I purchased one photo but still received all of the pictures in my email.
My biggest problem is that today my friend took her two children to the same studio that I went to with the same exact package and only purchased the one photo yet she was emailed her entire session.
I am pissed off because I am a single mother who does not have a lot of money for pictures and these were our easter photos. My mother lives out of state and I was looking forward to emailing her the pictures from our session. I spent 30 dollars on one pose. Heather is not professional and I feel that because I told her I was not interested in hearing about your packages since I've already heard them before she got an attitude with me, continued and then made it so I did not get my other pictures emailed to me.
I am praying you will be able to recover those photos and send them to my email.

It has really been bothering me that you all have raised your prices that high especially after being a long time customer from the time you all opened. You all are not only ripping people off money wise but their memories as well cause once you get to the preview part seeing hundreds of dollars for pictures is ridiculous and to top it off you have to spend one hundred plus or better to even get that. I have read other reviews and I'm glad to know it's not just me. Professional portrait studios and photographers don't start off like you all do nor do they charge how you all but can but not makin the customers purchase high dollar packages. I'm going to write a couple of places about this rip off studio.
the attitude of the worker as well as explaining my package to me
We scheduled to do our spring pictures on Saturday march 4th at 10am we get there at 10am the girl we were having do our pictures was running behind with her other group so I told the manager if need be we can have Jessica do our pictures I know both beth and Jessica and I know they both do good work. Nothing got done so we had to wait and wait until close to 1020 or 1030 then as our pictures were getting half done our 1 year old was getting tired of pictures. Beth did such a good job trying to get her to sit and smile, but at one point the manager looks at her points at her wrist and tells her we have to finish up or hurry up time is almost up.. I find that so rude! You want us to come Pay alot to get pictues with you guys yet can't help us our when it comes to a fuzzy little one. Also as we are getting picture ordered she didn't explain some of the special effect prints we were able to get 8 pictures and we got 2 of each of the ones we ordered. I only wanted one of each I don't know why I need 2 I wish she would of told us that I would of got something different. thanks you for listening

I am a portrait innovation client; And the last time I went 02/19/2017 to take the photos of my 2 year old daughter I was treated super bad since after leaving me 1 hour and a half sitting waiting she told me that we had to wait because she had people with appoinment when in fact I was first to the other people and the young woman who I attend in Clifton NJ is called TANASIA, other times I had been and always were very sweet with people but that person especially speaks badly to others and always has attitude with Children .. it is not possible that a study like this so recommended by people have that type of person working there ... I hope to take this into account because for us clients their study makes money with our children...

I've been to portrait innovations 5 maybe 6 times in the last 3 years. Every time I go it's the same thing, there impatient they get very rude and irritable with you and your kids! There rushing you out, they act like they don't have time for your business, this will be our last time coming to you. If this is how you conduct business I don't think you'll be in business much longer
poor customer service
I went to get photos for my daughter and nephew at the Harker Heights TX Location the lady was so rude to us and made me and my sister feel uncomfortable she didn't want to give us the military or the Birthday discount there was things we didn't want and she said it doesn't matter if you don't want them she was just so rude I wanted to cancel my photo session if this complaint don't get handle I'm going to go to someone hire. I would normally not say anything but the man who took our photo I believe that he was rushing us and told us with the 29.99 package and the disc we spent little over 300 bucks and yes we have a large family but when appointment was made it was told that there was 25 people in it and it was done for my mom's birthday. We want to purchase extra photos some of us want he said we can't do to we got the disc I that he was getting rude and rushing us to pick photos for the package. I was wanting to purchase a book and a couple other things but he said no I doubt I come back I liked the ladies that always took our photos he was more worried he was late for lunch. Anyway we were planning on spending at least 6oo I have brought my grandson in here for a few years and for the price we paid yesterday I got a heck of alot more things. I am going to be searching for a different place to get photos done he was very unprofessional and rude toword the end and left before the purchase was completed
poor customer service
I have been a loyal customer of portrait innovations at south charleston, wv, for many years. Today I took my daughter for her birthday photos. The session went fine. However, when I returned to pick up my photos an hour later, I was told by the photographer that they had been having printer problems and the photos weren't ready, but she said they were being printed and would be ready in about 30 minutes. I told her I lived about 30 minutes away and would have to come back, but I asked if I could go ahead and take the disc of photos with me that came with my package, which she gave me. I went home and returned three hours later (Well past the 30 minutes she said it would take for the photos to print) , only to be told that the printer was still down and the photos weren't ready. I asked why someone didn't call me to notify me of that (Especially after I had told the photographer that I lived 30 minutes away and would have to come back) , and the manager was very rude and said she didn't know I was coming back to get them today. (Isn't the whole point of portrait innovations to get your photos the same day?) regardless, the manager was completely indifferent to the fact that I had been told the photos would be ready hours earlier or that I made a nearly one hour round trip for nothing. So I asked for a refund. She said I needed to return the disc (Which I had taken home earlier) before she could refund my money. So at this point I have to make another round trip either way - to get the disc and return it in order to get my money back, or to get my photos. The manager said that was their policy, and she was not willing to do anything to make the situation right. I told her I had been a loyal customer for many years and that she was going to lose my business over this, and she simply did not care. She kept saying the printer problem was out of her control, but that was not the issue at all! I was not upset that their printer was down. I understand that was out of their control. The fact that they did not take the time to notify customers who had photos made today and were expecting to get them is simply unacceptable. And then to be rude and completely unwilling to do anything to make the situation right is even worse. The manager did not care to lose a loyal customer (Her attitude conveyed that loud and clear) , so I will take my business elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.
lying manager
Printer went down so the manager offered to mail my pics given that i drove an hour to get there to get them taken and could not just drive back to pick them up when ever they happened to get the printer fixed. Got a call from said manager when i was half way home saying pics were done i was like i cannot turn around i still want them mailed. I was assured that was not an issue and they would be mailed ASAP. I called almost a week later to ask if they had been mailed and was told by a new employee that they never mail pictures. I asked to speak to a manager then the new employee told me my pictures had a note on them to be mailed so they would be mailed today. I asked to still speak to a manager and got a call back two hours later from the same manager of the day that told me he would mail them. I asked why it took so long to mail them and got told 3 different stories including him accusing me of lying and saying I would come back and get them when I did not. When I pointed out that he was lying he told me well they were mailed. I informed him that due to being lied to and such I would not be returning to which his only response was ok thank you they were mailed bye.
service / free gift
I got my son picture taken about a month ago when the free gift was the 11 x 14 portrait. They said they would call me when it came in. I have never gotta the phone call yet. Plus I have 2 kids. I get they pictures done at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months. Then every year. Well I booked 2 different appointment in 2 different names, so I could get both of my kids picture done in one visit. When I got there the employee said I couldn't do two promotions even through it was in 2 different name. So I said fine you are only going to do one. I have a son that is 6 months and the other son is 3 years so instead of making two trips i would only make one. So one employee said I couldnt so the same promotions even in a different name, another employee said wait until the next promotion and a third employee said I have to wait 3 months. I been going to the flint, MI studio for 3 years and noticed that ever since the favorite poses went away the studio service being going downhill. I would like a free season with the promotion and bring back the favorite poses without charging a arm and leg so the out of state family can choose what pose they want. rude sales people and lies
We had pictures taken before Christmas and sadly enough were treated rudely by the photographer as well as the manager when we questioned their shady sales tactics. We would've just walked out of the time but wanted pictures for ill family members We never received the product we had ordered over a month and a half later When calling the store to find out what happened yet again treated rudely by the sales staff but they did say they would call back immediately and find out why the product was reordered. The return call never occurred so yet again another phone call was placed yet again treated rudely by the sales staff and a bunch of excuses were made why we never received a return call Only after much argument was I offered not a refund but rather a voucher so I could go spend more money in the store that would treat me badly I explained that route sales woman that I was not about to spend more money and be treated badly yet again at which time she told me I would have to mail the voucher into the corporate office and they would refund me my money if they chose to. No thank you no more rude treatment and lies from them. I was not surprised to find the lack of customer service his phone number on their own website. It did not take long though however to research it on the Internet to find their corporate phone number.

We arrived about 5 min. Early. My husband and I wanted a group picture with our 6 grandchildren ages 1 - 9. No one was at the front desk to check us in. After awhile, I went and found someone. Turns out the photographer wasn't even there yet! I received a reminder phone call 2 days prior, maybe she should have too. She was 15 min. Late. My grandchildren were restless. The 1 yr. old was getting tired and by the time we got set up to take pictures, he cried the whole time. The photographer never apologized for being late. She asked several times what we wanted but didn't listen very well. She tried to put me and my husband on the floor, not an easy feat for 60 yr. old grandparents. Finally, she saw it wasn't comfortable so put us on seats. I had all my granddaughters dressed in matching Christmas dresses that cost me a pretty penny. She hid the oldest granddaughter behind so you can't see her dress at all, she was the only one that had the green dress, the rest were red. The all had fur trim on sleeves and hem and were very festive. Half way into ordering pictures, she had to leave to take more pictures, so she had someone else finish the order. We cancelled many pictures at that point so they lost money. She pressured more and he could have cared less. Not a good experience for our family. rudeness and horrible pictures
Me and my family had a horrible experience at portrait innovations in fort Wayne Indiana. We had a very large group. When we got there nobody greeted us and the manager Kayla which I found out later she was the manager she had her hand on her chin bend over by the register when she was talking to me about getting ready to start taking the pictures. As soon as we started taking them she started snapping pictures not giving anybody time to get ready this was going on the whole time. My whole family was tense even the kids because her facial expressions was off she had a attitude the whole time. My mother is handicapped so I asked Kayla for a chair so my mother could change into her other outfit and she had to sit down while doing so and Kayla just pointed to the chair and had a attitude while doing it. Before we started taking pictures when we did the outfit change we asked her can we get a different background because my family had on the same colors instead we got the same background we took the first pictures in with other colors on and the background didn't match nor did we want that background and we informed her that we wanted a different background and she said that was fine but we never got the background so she lied. We told her about the background being red the second time and we didn't want it and she didn't offer to retake the pictures or anything we just had to settle for it. When we were viewing the pictures some of them were horrible we didn't like the background as I stated before my family was upset everybody was just ready to go and just fed up she was not polite at all and she had no customer service experience at all it was just horrible. We end up after talking it over and not liking the pictures after viewing them online that we were not satisfied and also not satisfied with the rudeness we got while taking the photos so we cancelled them and will be sending in a vocher to get the money back.
The York branch has a girl Heather Brenner work for them she was arrested for prostitution drugs few years ago what kind of buisness that has kids for majority of there buisness hire former prostititutes
