A Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing
After reading through numerous reviews from different platforms, it's evident that Pretty Little Thing has left many customers dissatisfied. Issues with customer service, poor quality products, and delayed refunds seem to be recurring problems. One customer mentioned a frustrating experience with returns, where they had to open a dispute to get a refund, highlighting the lack of transparency and efficiency in the process. Another customer expressed disappointment with receiving a damaged item and the subsequent struggle to get a replacement. These reviews collectively paint a picture of a company that falls short in meeting customer expectations and providing satisfactory solutions to problems. Considering the consistent negative feedback, potential customers might want to approach shopping at Pretty Little Thing with caution.
Great with following up with your orders
I placed an order and when I checked the tracking it said that I had been delivered. I had not received the package. I direct messaged them on twitter and their customer service team responded quickly and were able to help me. I had this outfit planned for a specific event and they were able resolve my problem and I am so grateful. I appreciate everything they were able to do for me. With a team who cares about their customers I would definitely recommend for people to shop here. Love it!
I am more than satisfy! Great service!
Servis is really great! I love it how it works, so simple and helpful. I ordered lot of products and i am so happy with the items, the models are really great and also a material, same as on the site and videos
I had just one Problem with one dress and Sultan really helped me a lot with getting a new dress without any complication, they simply send a new dress out. He answered of all my questions what i needed. Really helpful and professional. I got my respond also very quickly! I can not ask for more Thank you

So far so good
I ordered form PLT second time now and Im really happy with their shop, clothes, shipping time. So far so good and Ill definitely buy from them again. Only thing that upsets me is when you change currency on their site, the price of the same products is different, see EUR/GBP price difffers way too much- See a photo of shoes I ordered for 35GBP (which is 39EUR), while they cost 49EUR when I selected EUR currency, thats 10 EUR difference, definitely not a conversion fee. I hope this will help those who didnt notice this before :)
Great customer service
Just received such amazing help from Emma B. Sent a message late on a Saturday night and received a reply in just a few minutes! As what I was looking for was not in stock Emma then sent me a couple of suggestions similar to what I was looking for which was so helpful and saved me so much time. Makes such a difference getting not just one reply within a few minutes but a full conversation and it not spread out within a few hours. Had bad experiences with other online clothing site and getting a reply, I'll not make the mistake of going anywhere apart from plt.
Fantastic!
I have recently lost a lot of weight and am wanting to enjoy my new body on my birthday. I ordered 2 dresses from PYT. I ordered a size 12. The regular shipping said it would not come until 9/23, which is my actual birthday but I needed the dresses for my party. So I spent the extra on shipping. I received my order in about 3 days. I tried on both dresses and they fit and are so flattering! I am always worried that online clothing wont fit but these dresses look fantastic. I also found a code on retailmenot.com and was able to get 40% off of my order. So everything, including shipping, was only like $60. Very pleased!
Quick, easy and great customer service
I ordered two items on PLT but unfortanately received an email the next day that one item is unavailable and I will be refunded while the item is getting shipped.
I contacted the PLT team to discuss that I am not satisfied to spend on shipping again to place another order so it can arrive on time as I wanted two items to choose between the two. (Better safe than sorry, right).
My first contact was with jessika, apologising that the item is unavailable and asked for my order number. Another assistant named Naqash contacted me to inform me that she has refunded my shipping cost and will be in my account in the upcoming days.
Contacting them was hassle and stress free. A way to make customers happy. I have been a long term customer with PLT also.
Happy with Every Order: My Review of Pretty Little Thing
I've ordered from Pretty Little Thing a bunch of times and every time I've been super happy with my stuff. I've got shoes, dresses, pajamas, and just regular clothes, and I love everything I've gotten. I would totally tell my friends to check it out.
Pretty Little Thing Review: Cute Clothes, Slow Shipping, and Refund Struggles
So, I finally got my refund from Pretty Little Thing after a bit of a struggle. It took a whole week after I sent them another message asking for my money back. I mean, why couldn't they just do it the first time I asked? It's not like I just placed the order yesterday, it had been months since I paid for it.
But, I have to say, the clothes I did receive from them were pretty cute. I ordered a few dresses and tops and they were all true to size and looked just like the pictures on the website. The quality was decent for the price I paid, but I wouldn't say it was amazing.
One thing that did bother me was the shipping time. It took almost two weeks for my order to arrive, which is a bit longer than I'm used to. But, I guess that's what you get when you order from an online store based in the UK.
Overall, I would say that Pretty Little Thing is a decent option if you're looking for trendy clothes at an affordable price. Just be prepared to wait a bit longer for your order to arrive and don't be afraid to reach out to customer service if you have any issues.
Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing: Delayed Shipping and Lack of Customer Service
Yo, so I gotta tell you about my experience with Pretty Little Thing. I was hyped to order some stuff from them in March, and they said I'd get my gear by March 18. But when I checked the shipping status on March 17, the company said they hadn't even gotten my stuff from PLT yet. Like, what the heck, man? It's almost June now and I still haven't gotten anything. And PLT hasn't even bothered to reach out and say sorry or anything. I spent a ton of cash on their site and this is how they treat me? Not cool, PLT. This was my first time ordering from them and I should have listened to all the peeps who warned me about their shoddy service.
Mixed Experience: Cute Clothes, Good Prices, But Customer Service Needs Improvement
I done shopped on this website twice usin' the mobile app. First time, I got an outfit for my friend's bridal shower and it was lookin' real good. Second time, I ordered a bunch of clothes for a try-on haul video on my YouTube channel. I gotta say, I was feelin' myself in all them outfits. But, I gotta admit, I had a little problem with my second order. I was missin' part of it - a basic jersey midi skirt. I tried to figure out how to contact customer service to fix it, but I couldn't find no chat option or phone number. So, I just gave up and took the loss. Overall, I still like shoppin' on this website 'cause they got some cute clothes at good prices. But, they need to make it easier to contact customer service when there's a problem.
Disappointing Sizing and No Refunds: My Experience with Pretty Little Thing
So, I convinced my mom to give Pretty Little Thing a try since I've had some good experiences with their clothes. She decided to splurge on three pairs of heels, spending almost 80 bucks. However, when the shoes arrived, they were all size 8 instead of the size 10 that she had ordered. To make matters worse, the company doesn't offer refunds. What a bummer!
But we didn't give up hope just yet. We decided to try and sell the shoes for a lower price, but it was still frustrating to have to deal with the company's mistake. Despite this, I decided to give Pretty Little Thing another chance and ordered a pair of slides in size 9. I even have an email confirmation stating that I ordered a size 9. But when the slides arrived, they were size 7! Can you believe it?
It's hard to understand how a company can get the size wrong not once, not twice, but four times. And to top it off, they still don't offer refunds. It's disappointing to have to pay for their mistake four times over.
Overall, I'm not sure if I'll be shopping at Pretty Little Thing again. It's a shame because I really liked their clothes, but the sizing issue and lack of refunds is a major turn off. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.
Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing: Poor Quality, Late Delivery, and Subpar Customer Service
I recently made two separate orders from Pretty Little Thing, one with express shipping and another with regular shipping. I was hoping to receive my express order within 1-3 working days, but unfortunately, it took a whopping 1.5 weeks to arrive. I was extremely disappointed to find out that my order had not even left the warehouse, and I had not been informed of this issue. I had to contact customer care multiple times, and each time I was told that my order was on its way with the courier or still in transit. It wasn't until 2 weeks past my order date that I was finally told the truth about my package.
To make matters worse, my second order also took 2 weeks to arrive and was in poor condition. The jacket I ordered was not even in its own packaging and was extremely creased. The jeans I ordered were of terrible quality and felt like they would tear as soon as I put them on. I regret both of my orders and would not recommend buying from Pretty Little Thing just because they are cheap and celebrities wear their clothes. Their quality, delivery time, and customer service are all subpar.
I understand that people say you get what you pay for, but even if you spend a lot of money on a Pretty Little Thing item, the quality will still be terrible. I am appalled by my whole transaction with this company and would advise others to save their money and shop elsewhere. Pretty Little Thing may be getting richer from our support, but they are not providing quality products or service.
Pretty Little Thing: A Scam Artist in Disguise - Don't Shop Here
I gotta say, I've been shopping online for clothes for years and I never thought I'd fall victim to a scam. But let me tell you, Pretty Little Thing is a whole different story. I've spent thousands of dollars on clothes from various online stores, but I've never experienced anything like this before.
First of all, their customer service is a joke. Even the shady Chinese sweatshop stores have better customer service than Pretty Little Scam. If you have any issues with your order, you're out of luck. They won't respond to your messages or emails, and they don't even have a phone number you can call to speak to a representative. Instead, you have to deal with an unhelpful robot named "Madison" or try to contact them on WhatsApp, where they'll leave you on read.
And trust me, you're going to have issues with your order. Pretty Little Thieves will refuse to give your package to FedEx for weeks at a time, and when you call FedEx to see what's going on, they'll tell you that the shipper never even gave them the parcel. Can you believe that? They literally sent FedEx a shipping label and then never gave them the package to ship. It's absolutely unbelievable.
But don't just take my word for it. Check out the Better Business Bureau. There are hundreds of customers who have experienced the same thing. Pretty Little Conartists is a scam, plain and simple. Do not shop here.
Instead, I recommend Princess Polly. They're one of my absolute favorite online stores. They have amazing quality clothes, fast shipping, and superb customer service. I've spent hundreds of dollars at Princess Polly and will continue to do so. Meanwhile, I'm not giving Pretty Little Swindle another cent, and I'm spreading the message everywhere I can that they're scam artists.
Honestly, I can't wait to see them go out of business. God willing.
Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing: Poor Customer Service and Subpar Quality
I recently had an experience with Pretty Little Thing that I feel compelled to share with others who may be considering making a purchase from their website. I ordered a swimsuit set for my upcoming spring break, but unfortunately, the delivery date was not clearly specified during the ordering process. When I received notification that the swimsuit would not arrive in time for my trip, I immediately reached out to customer service for assistance.
To my disappointment, the only customer service option available was email or submitting a question online, which would result in an email response. I contacted them multiple times, but received no response until I reached out to them on Instagram. Even then, they were unable to help me and I was told I would have to pay to return the swimsuit.
When the swimsuit finally arrived, I was extremely disappointed with the quality. It did not match the description or picture on the website, and the color was faded and old-looking. I felt like I had wasted my money and time trying to resolve the issue with customer service.
Overall, I would not recommend ordering from Pretty Little Thing. They do not prioritize their customers' needs and their swimsuit quality is subpar. It was a frustrating experience that I hope others can avoid.
Shocking Customer Service from Pretty Little Thing: No Phone Number, Rude Response, and Delayed Investigation
customer service from Pretty Little Thing. It's shocking that they don't have a phone number on their website, which is actually illegal for a UK business with card processing services. I paid for next day delivery and free returns for a year, but unfortunately, the dress I ordered for my wife didn't arrive on time for her night out. I contacted PLT through their website and spoke to someone called Zoe. She typed out a response and closed the conversation before I could reply. How rude! This is certainly no way to treat paying customers.
Zoe's response was not helpful at all. She said that she had launched an investigation with the courier on the whereabouts of my parcel, but according to the delivery service, they have yet to receive the parcel. So how can the courier have lost the parcel? It's very frustrating that I have to wait until the 10th of February for them to conclude the investigation. This seems like a long time, and it's not fair that I have to wait this long for something that I paid for.
I'm very disappointed with the level of service from PLT. I would expect this kind of service if I was ordering something from China, not from a UK-based company in Manchester. It's unacceptable that they don't have a phone number on their website, and it's even more unacceptable that they closed the chat before I could reply. I hope that PLT can improve their customer service in the future, as this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Terrible Service and Delayed Delivery: My Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing
I gotta say, I'm not impressed with Pretty Little Thing. I mean, if I could give them a zero, I totally would. Their service is just terrible. I ordered some stuff for next day delivery on October 23rd, and I didn't get it until a whole month later. I mean, I'm a pretty patient person, but come on. I got these things for two birthdays, and I had to buy more stuff because of the delay.
I kept asking them for updates, but they just kept telling me that there was a delay with Hermes and they couldn't give me any more information. After three weeks of waiting, I asked for a refund, but they said my stuff had already been delivered. I knew that was a lie, but they threatened me with legal action if I didn't file a police report saying that my stuff hadn't been delivered. I mean, seriously? I'm out over 250 bucks, I don't have my stuff, and now I'm being called a liar?
Finally, a week later, I got the package, but I just took it to the post office to be sent back. I didn't even open it. I just wanted my refund at that point. I took pictures and videos for evidence, because at this point, I don't trust Pretty Little Thing at all.
I told them I sent the stuff back and asked for my refund, and they said it would take two weeks. Okay, fine. At least we're making progress. But two weeks later, I still didn't have my refund. I messaged them, and they said there was an error and it would be another two weeks before I got my money back. And they said I "should receive" it by the 23rd. That's three weeks, not two. I was so mad. It had been almost two months at this point, and all I wanted was my refund.
I asked to speak to a manager, and finally, on December 4th, one called me back. They promised to follow up with an email, but of course, they didn't. So here I am, still waiting for my refund, with no clothes to show for it. This has been the worst experience of my life.
Disappointing Experience with Pretty Little Thing: Lost Package and Unhelpful Customer Service
I recently had an experience with Pretty Little Thing that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I placed an order for €400 on February 7th, and on February 21st, I received a message saying that my package had been returned to PLT. The problem? I never received the package in the first place, so I certainly didn't return it myself.
After waiting for two weeks for my order to arrive, I checked my account and saw that it was still scheduled to be delivered on February 23rd. Now, I have to go through the hassle of re-ordering everything and paying for shipping again, which is especially frustrating because PLT offers a rush delivery service. Plus, I'll lose out on any discounts that were applied to my original order.
When I reached out to customer service, I was met with a frustrating response from Hannah T. She apologized for the inconvenience but said that because the package had been refunded, they couldn't send it again. Instead, I would have to re-order everything myself and pay for shipping again. I was also told that any discounts I had received on my original order would not be applied to the new one.
I was understandably upset and asked if they could at least offer me a discount or waive the shipping fee since this was not my fault. I also needed the items for my birthday that weekend, so I asked if they could expedite the shipping. Unfortunately, Molly C's response was equally unhelpful. She confirmed that the package had been lost in transit and refunded, and said that if I wanted the items, I would have to re-order them myself and use any discounts that were currently available.
Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Pretty Little Thing. Not only did I never receive my original order, but I was met with unhelpful and unsympathetic customer service when I reached out for help. I hope that PLT can improve their processes and customer service in the future so that other customers don't have to go through the same frustrating experience that I did.
Affordable and Fashionable: My Review of Pretty Little Thing Clothing
The quality of the clothing at Pretty Little Thing is surprisingly good, especially considering the low prices. As someone who usually shops designer, I was hesitant to try this site, but a friend recommended it to me and I'm glad I gave it a shot. I ordered during their holiday sale and was impressed with the variety of items available.
One thing to note is that the clothing runs a bit bigger than expected. I used my measurements as a guideline, but still found that about 40% of my order was too big. However, customer service was very helpful and even sent me a label when I explained my financial situation. I placed three orders totaling $400 and was pleased with all of my purchases.
I appreciate that Pretty Little Thing offers a range of sizes, including fashionable plus-size clothing at affordable prices. As someone with long legs, I was happy to find tall items that fit well, and their selection of petite sizes also made many items wearable for me.
The only downside is that they do not offer exchanges, only refunds. While this is clearly stated in the FAQ, it was my mistake for not checking before purchasing. However, I don't think this is a major issue as the prices are already so low that repurchasing an item would still be a good deal.
I also opted for express shipping and was thrilled when my order arrived in just two days, all the way from the UK. Overall, I had a great experience with Pretty Little Thing and would recommend it to anyone looking for affordable, trendy clothing.
Review: Pretty Little Thing - Affordable Fashion with Inconsistent Quality Control
I started shopping at Pretty Little Thing in 2020 and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with what I've received considering the low prices. I have a ton of clothes from them and I still wear my PLT items on a regular basis. However, I did have to learn the hard way that their bodysuits have really long torsos - I had to start buying petite sizes to make them fit properly. But then they changed their sizing system to S, M, L and I ended up with a pair of sweatpants that made me look like a flying squirrel! Despite these hiccups, I'm generally pleased with my purchases. I always buy their satin pajamas, joggers, sweats, and bodysuits, and I've even tried their denim, shoes, and bags.
The only problem is that the quality of their items can be really inconsistent. Even when I buy petite size 6, the clothes don't always fit like they should. I've had to alter a lot of the clothes myself because they're just not consistent. And even though I've only paid a maximum of $25 for an item, I've still been disappointed by some of the things I've received. I've had tops that couldn't even button and bodysuits with cups that were way too big. Some of the clothes are cut unevenly, with huge seam gaps and missing boning in corsets. And despite everything being sold as petite, nothing really is. The shoes are definitely Payless quality and some of the sandals I've received are so bad that they can't even hold a foot in place.
To make matters worse, the items often arrive in crumpled bags that look like they've already been used. My first order had protective covers and tags on everything, but now I'm lucky if I get anything like that. Some items are so huge that my husband could fit into them, while others are so small that I can't even button them up. And even when I'm careful to wash everything separately, some items completely stretch out after just one delicate hand wash.
Despite all of these issues, I still think that Pretty Little Thing is a good option if you're like me and mostly wear expensive, couture clothes but want to mix in some trendy, sexy, and affordable pieces. I've been shopping clearance and most of the items are still in rotation for me. However, since they've become so unpredictable, I wouldn't recommend spending a lot of money on their clothes. I've had some great finds, but I've also received a lot of trash that wasn't even petite-sized.
If you do decide to shop at Pretty Little Thing, I recommend sticking to the clearance section and knowing your size. They occasionally offer free shipping and returns, but I wouldn't bother trying to return anything or contacting customer service. I just make the clothes work for me. As a super curvy 5'2" girl with 34D breasts, I still pop out of their tops even when I use a lot of tape! But overall, I have an amazing collection of casual wear and super sexy date night outfits from PLT. I've even found some beautiful blouses, blazers, rompers, and accessories that I love.
In conclusion, I think that Pretty Little Thing is a good option for fast fashion, but don't expect too much in terms of quality control. I've been shopping for cheap clothes for over a decade and I've found that PLT is on par with other brands like Boohoo and Dolls Kill. Just be prepared to deal with some inconsistencies and occasional disappointments.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE
THE WORST EXPERIENCE...
THE WORST EXPERIENCE... I will never shop this site again. On Nov 4th I placed an order for 10 items that I fell in love with and was very excited about. My delivery date was the 17th which was way faster than I thought it would be, but I was very happy because two of the items I wanted to wear to a concert. The problem came when on the 9th of November my package was delivery to my local post office where it was scanned for delivery that day, but for some reason was never delivery to me. I gave it sometime and on the 11th I started trying to figure out what happen to my package. This time frame had nothing to do with PLT because it was now left up to my post office to figure out what happen. I then gave it more time to see if maybe they would find it. After speaking to the post office, they inform me that the package had been lost and I need to contact PLT and go from there. NOW this is where it turns into a nightmare. OfCourse everything is done through email. So, I reach out to PLT on the 22 to let them know what happen and to see what my options were. I honestly just wanted to see about get my items resent and just praying I received them this time. I was told I had to wait until Dec 1 to give it sometime, which I have gave it time since Nov 11 and still NO items. I example to them that the package was not coming due to me speaking with 3 different people at the post office and all of them stated that the package could not be located. After this I contact the post office and had them issue me a letter stated my package was lost and they were not going to be able to ship a package out that they do not have. On the 23rd I email PLT again and attach the letter from the post office stated the package was lost and will not be shipped out. They still in returned told me know I have to wait until Dec 3 to give it sometime. What am I giving time if the post office does not have my package. I am not sure what more information they need to understand there is no package coming. I was giving the run around and when I didn't agree to more time, the communication was stop. They stop emailing me and just wanted me to wait more days for a package that is not coming because it is lost. In the begin I just wanted my items to be shipped back out, but Now I want nothing to do with PLT. Their customer service suck and if you try to get any more information about your package and they don't feel like email you back they stop all communication. I am sure I will still be waiting for a package that will not be here. If I was anyone, I would be care about what you order from here because if something happen, they will have you playing a game of cat and mice.
Missing items
On 11.12.23 I ordered 10 items from PLT. A fluffy dressing gown, 6 hoodies, 2 pairs of joggers and a jersy pair of shorts. Amounting to £173. On the 15.12.23 a delivery was left in my porch. When I arrived home from work and saw the parcel my immediate thought was it was small and light for the 10 items but thought they must be sending the rest in another...

Missing item
I ordered 6 items (the same 3 piece suit outfit in size 12 & 14) which was delivered on 23/11. I opened it that day and noticed that an item was missing. I immediately tried to contact PLT and wasn't able to contact them to start with as their contact now page was showing an error. I eventually got through to an advisor who said that all items were showing as scanned and packed so they would review the items and get back to me in 2 days. I have just received the response and after saying they had reviewed the CCTV they confirmed that all 6 items were packed. I only received 5. I am refusing to pay for an item I did not receive so will be chasing for this item to be refunded.
Desired outcome: Refund
Pretty Little Thing
I made an order on Tuesday 21st November which was delivered on Wednesday 22nd November. Only 6 of the 9 items were in the package. I contacted customer services as I originally thought my items may have been sent in two separate packages and wanted to confirm if this was the case. Since this was not the case and they said all the items had been sent out in one package, they said they would review the footage of the items being packed. They then contacted me and said they have checked this and can see ALL the items were packed and therefore they will not be resending me the items. I have asked to see this footage and they have declined. The parcel did not seem to be damaged, however, it is possible that the package could have been unsealed and resealed as it is not secure packaging.
I am now being made to pay for the items that i didn't receive.
Claimed loss: Approximately £70
Desired outcome: Refund or redelivery for the missing items
Missing item
I had an order delivered and an item was missing. I explained this to prettylittlething customer services and they have said that they checked cctv and that the item was packed and not missing. I have asked to see this footage and they have declined. The item was not in the parcel. The parcel did not seem to be damaged but it was sent in 2 parts and the missing item was definitely not there.
I have asked for the weights of the parcel when sent and returned to be given to me to prove that the item was not part of it but thwy have declined to cooperate.
I am now being made to pay for an item i didn't receive.
I want to be refunded for an item that i never recieved. PLT have refused to show me evidence of the item being packed and also the weight of the parcels. They are refusing to investigate this further and refused to refund me for a missing item
Desired outcome: I want to be refunded for an item that i never recieved. PLT have refused to investigate further or show me evidence of the item being packed and also the weight of the parcels.

Pretty little thing
I placed and order that was shipped on August 26th. On Sept 9 it was rerun to the sender because the address was not found. I send an email to PLT to see what the outcome of this situation will be but they just told me to wait until the tracking was updated. I explained to them over and over that the package was return but they kept saying “I’m sorry your parcel is delay please allow until 3 more days” and everytime they added more days. Like they were not reading what I was writing. One of them told me that they can’t refund until the tracking is updated to “returned to sender” and I told them that it says “no such number” which means the same. They just keep making excuses to not give me my money. I never got the items and they are on its way back to them I don’t understand why I can’t get my money.
Customer service at pretty little thing
[protected] I changed my delivery and billing address on the pretty little thing app and it never updated the change. I didn’t realize that it didn’t update the change and place an order. Tried to reach out to them one minute later and they told me I can’t cancel my order. Now I have my $60 order going to my old address and I don’t have access to go get it. They need to give us an option to cancel order for the first few minutes at least.
Desired outcome: Cancel my order
Missing products
I contacted prettylittlething about missing items in my order. They told me they would look at cctv footage and get back to me, to then be told it was in fact packed. I asked to see this footage as 2 items were missing and I have no reason to lie, I still want the items.. The person dealing with my case was rather rude and unhelpful. I have paid for items I did not receive, and told they will not refund or replace. Completely unprofessional.
Desired outcome: I would either like to be offered a replacement or a refund.
Scamming thieves
Part of my order didn't arrive. Thought it was going to be an easy process when they said they'd check CCTV footage of my order being packed. Instead I was basically called a liar and told I wasn't getting a refund or reorder and the decision was final and they wouldn't be revisiting my claim. They've just taken my money and are now ignoring my emails. So disappointed as I've been shopping with them for about 4/5 years with no problems. Now I know I won't ever be again.
Desired outcome: NO
Pretty Little Thing Order NEVER Arrived
I placed an order with Pretty Little Thing on August 8,2023. I paid the extra $5 to get speedy delivery with a delivery date of August 15, 2023. However I have not received my order. When I check the status online it is still showing as processing so my order is not coming. I needed the dress I ordered for my birthday on August 28. This is so unprofessional. I have reached out to customer service several times and have been told someone in the right department will reach out to me but no one has yet. I reached first on August 16 and was told I would be contacted here we are almost 2 weeks later and nothing.
Desired outcome: Refund
Black unitard
https://www.prettylittlething.com/tall-black-unitard.html
I am not massively tall, standing at 5’10. The model in the images stands at 5ft11.5 per the advert. that CANNOT be true as when I wear this garment my boobs are on full display!
Additionally, the unitard 100% seethrough owing to the incredibly poor material.
Is this a marketing ploy with the images taken. Either way, I am surprised this product is being sold given the poor quality, sheerness and clearly not actually made for anyone over 5’9.
I contacted PLT immediately, on the 4th July, following on from my order date of 26th June. Order Number:
There was a LOT of back and forth via emails, and images sent across to support the issues. PLT responded with: Hi Lauren,
Thank you for sending over the photo of the item, I really appreciate it. However, after looking at the pictures I wouldn't class this item as faulty. Let me get this sorted for you. " no explanation as to why they dont consider a see through and unwearable, and mis-marketed product as not faulty?
Additionally we are not out of the returns window! and they will not reimburse as a result! even with the fact theres an open complaint about this item for over 1 month. they have since stopped responding to my emails.
Desired outcome: I would like this reported to the marketing trading standards. i would like an admission of responsibility from PLT, a full refund and compensation for the amount of back and forth, chasing and issues this has caused me!!
Unauthorized Charge
7/11/23 @2:07AM my card was charged for $20. I locked my card immediately so it wasn't charged again, as I have read there are usually multiple charges when this company does this. I have never ordered from this company. Never even looked at the website. Charge says PLT US, when searched, this company comes up and talks about scams. Can people just get a job and work for their own money.
Representatives refuse to reimburse or provide items I paid for
I reached out to support yesterday about 3 missing items, I was told a footage would be reviewed. Today I’m told the items were packed based off the footage and will not be receiving anything. The first package the items were supposed to be in were delivered poorly, tapped with 3 pieces of tape and parts of the inside exposed and items spewing out , I did not complain. While opening the individual packages some of the clear plastic bags were even wet from the rain, still did not complain. I waited for the second parcel to arrive to make sure it was not there either and they weren’t. I’ve spent thousands of dollars total on this site and not once have I had an issue like this. I have no reason to lie about not receiving them, that’s not my nature. I asked to be please be in contact with someone who can help get these 3 clothings. I’m not asking for my money back I just want these items that I paid for shipped to me. That’s only fair.
Desired outcome: $40.12
Mixed feelings about PrettyLittleThing: Cute clothes, but quality control issues
I've been shopping at PrettyLittleThing for a while now, but I'm not sure if I'll be shopping there again in the future. My biggest issue with them is that sometimes the items they advertise aren't what you actually receive.
For example, I saw this dress on their website that had splits on both sides and I fell in love with it. When I received the dress, there were no splits. The dress was still cute, but it wasn't what I wanted. I contacted customer service and they said they would send me the dress with the splits. When the replacement arrived, it still didn't have the splits. It was really frustrating.
I also ordered a plaid skirt that had the plaids misaligned. I returned it and ordered the same style again because I really liked it. The replacement was better, but it still wasn't perfect. I got it at a discount, so I guess I got what I paid for.
Another issue I've had is that some of their clothes run small, even though I followed the size chart. It's really annoying to have to pay for shipping to return the item and then wait for a refund. And then when you reorder the item, there's still a chance that it won't fit.
It's a shame because they have really cute clothes, but the quality control isn't always great.
Two-Star Review: Pretty Little Thing's Quality is Hit or Miss
I gotta say, I'm giving Pretty Little Thing a two-star rating. The quality of their clothes is just not up to par, but I guess you get what you pay for, right? If you're looking for casual or active wear, I'd say save your money and go for something a little more expensive. I've ordered their leggings about 3-4 times now, and let me tell you, they are so transparent that you can't wear them without something over them. They're basically pantyhose! I don't know why all those INSTA photos make them look like they fit great and aren't see-through. Don't waste your money on these, they're like $3 quality from a cheap clothing store.
Now, when it comes to their coats, it's a whole different story. The design is great, the quality is great, and the price is very reasonable. I'm really impressed with their coats. But when it comes to their basic tops and blouses, it's a different story. They're totally transparent and the quality is terrible. I ordered a white T-shirt with a logo on it, thinking it would be loose-fitting and stylish, but it looked like it came straight from one of those alleys in LA that sell $5 shirts with fake logos on them. It's really hit or miss with this store. I don't know how they decide which items to make with good quality and which ones to skimp on. They have a great style concept, but they definitely need to improve their quality, especially since they're marketed and advertised mainstream.
Fashion Nova is a similar competitor, and most of their items are great quality, even the basics. I have an order from over 6 months ago that I still haven't returned yet, and I decided to just use the basic tops I bought this time, even though the quality sucks. I would only order coats or jackets from Pretty Little Thing again, everything else is a pass.
Pretty Little Thing: Poor Quality, Bad Customer Service, and No Returns Policy
I recently bought a jacket from Pretty Little Thing in my UK size, but when it arrived, the sleeves were massive and all puckered up. It's clear that there's no quality control here with these cowboys. I've emailed them nine times since the first day it arrived, but it's impossible to speak with their so-called customer service. You either chat with an automation machine that just repeats the same thing over and over, or you get no further than when you started. It's so frustrating! All I want is a returns label, which I don't think is asking too much. I certainly don't want to pay for their mistaken sizing or bad workmanship. Obviously, the company should be responsible for that.
After reading so many terrible reviews on this company's policies for returning people's money, I wish I had read them before ordering. Believe me, there are so many right across the web, all mainly complaining for the same reason as myself. This company then seems to faintly apologize, making all sorts of excuses, and then carry on as before, conning people out of their money by selling poor quality clothes, etc. This company should be forced out of their disgusting business. Customer service is non-existent, and they really don't care because along comes another mug who looks at their site and purchases from pictures something they will never receive. The quality will be poor, the sizes are all wrong, and you can't complain or send it back. If you do manage to, you don't get any refunds. Look at all the complaints; they can't all be wrong, now can they? Yet this company carries on ripping people off without any remorse or shame.
I'm going to the trading standards and contacting Rip Off Britain. It's time this stopped. Shame on them!
Captivating and Emotional: A Review of The Kite Runner
I placed an order to be Shipped to my Skybox on May 1st 2021.
The order was subsequently split into two shipments. Unknowing to me. The only confirmed tracking information provided was for one of the packages and it took over a month to be Received in my home country. Only to realize that part of the order was missing. Out of the 24 pieces ordered we only received 4. Calling pretty little thing to find out about the shortage. To be told that queries can only be made 14 days after ordering. Hi, sorry to hear this
I can see 1 package was delivered on the 10th of May and one was delivered on the 10th of June, please could you confirm if you received both of these?
-Umar
To which I didn't receive any packages on 10th May, 2021. Tracking information on my account only provided for the shipment delivered on 10th June, 2021
Just to confirm you've not received the parcel delivered on the 10th May? https://fcbtracking.fedex.com/?MyFICNumber=BOO0617GB***501
-Afzal
When I clicked the link above it shows the package was not sent to my Address hence the reason we never received the Package. Furthermore I explained that I can't track a Shipment when I wasn't provided the tracking information nor that my order was split into two Shipments.
PLT Thanks for letting me know. I can see this has been delivered to the address on the order. As this is now over 14 days we would be unable to look into this further at our end and would advise checking around your property and with neighbours for the parcel.
Thanks
- Courtenay
I would not ever reccomend taking such a risk to spend hard earned money only to be Taken for granted when it comes to the company that has no care for their Customers.
Poor Customer Service and High Prices: My Experience with Pretty Little Thing
I recently made a purchase from Pretty Little Thing, but unfortunately, I made a mistake with my shipping address. I quickly realized my error and contacted their customer service team to see if they could help me out. However, the representative I spoke with informed me that they do not cancel orders and suggested that I try to retrieve the package from the incorrect address myself.
I explained to the representative that I live in the Caribbean and use a third-party courier for all of my US orders, so retrieving the package myself was not an option. They then asked me to provide proof that I live in the Caribbean, which I did. Despite this, hours later, I received an email saying that my order had already been shipped to the incorrect address.
I was extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled. The customer service representative was unhelpful and seemed to have no interest in resolving my issue. It was frustrating to be told that my mistake could not be corrected, even after providing proof of my situation.
In addition to the poor customer service, I found Pretty Little Thing to be quite expensive for the quality of their products. I would not recommend this site to anyone who values their time and money.
To make matters worse, when I thanked the representative for their time, I was told that I should have filled out a survey instead. It was disappointing to see that common courtesy is not valued by this company.
Overall, I would not recommend Pretty Little Thing to anyone. Their customer service is lacking, their prices are high, and their products are not worth the investment. Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.
