I moved into River Place Apartments July 2023. Building 500 on the 4th floor. Upon moving in there was a bad leak from the ceiling in the common hallway. I called the leasing office and they apologized. The hole was covered with ceiling tile. A month later, August 2023, there was a leak in the same hole from the ceiling. I placed a work order and it was “covered” again. In August 2023, later that month, the same pipe was leaking again, now there was a big trash bucket placed underneath. there was a second leak on the floor. Where a second trash bucket was placed to collect water. I placed another work order in September 2023 for this issue. I was called by the leasing office and was advised “this issue would take a few weeks” to resolve. Weeks go by, there is no work done to correct the two leaking pipes. It’s now a month later, October 2023, both holes are consistently leaking water anytime it rains. The second hole has leaked water to the carpet causing extensive water damage to the carpet where residents walk through. The first hole is pouring water, there is visible carpet damage and ceiling damage. Damage to the walls. I placed a thorough work order and emailed pictures on October 4 2023. There was no follow up. I spoke to the leasing office the morning or October 6 2023 where the leasing manager, lied to me and said she had just transferred to this location. This is false as she in fact signed my lease July 2023 and assisted me with another issue in July 2023. October 6 2023 after returning to my apartment, the entry way of my apartment has been flooded with water as there is a third leaking pipe. My apartment door has a big trash can filled with water in front of it due to the pipe leaking and ceiling tile has fallen onto the floor. The apartment has advised it is not their fault. I believe this to be false. I was advised repair on the pipes will begin Oct 9 2023 and take “3 to 4 days” I have been dealing with this issue for 4 months. This is negligence. I need help.

Desired outcome: Compensation
