I am writing to express my concern and seek a resolution regarding the warranty coverage on my 2011 Dodge Dakota (VIN: 1D7RE3BK5Bs580870), which I purchased on January 3, 2024. The warranty in question is a powertrain enhanced warranty under service agreement number AAPL125623 that is supposed to cover specific parts and repairs.
On June 10, 2024, I noticed a leak in the coolant pump and the coolant belt of my truck. Consequently, I took the vehicle to Mooneyham Auto for repairs. They completed the necessary repairs and I picked up my vehicle on June 11, 2024. During the repair process, Mooneyham Auto attempted to contact your company several times to authorize and process the warranty claim. Unfortunately, they were unable to reach anyone from your team.
On June 19, 2024, Mooneyham Auto informed me that they had not received payment for the repairs. Following this, I contacted your company but was unable to speak with anyone in charge of claims. I was told that someone would reach out to me regarding this issue, but I have not received any further communication.
As a result, I had to pay Mooneyham Auto out of pocket for the repairs. The repairs for the coolant pump and the coolant belt are clearly within the coverage of the powertrain enhanced warranty.
I am requesting reimbursement for the amount I paid to Mooneyham Auto for these covered repairs. Please expedite the reimbursement process to resolve this matter promptly. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, and I expect prompt action to rectify it.
Enclosed are copies of the repair invoice and the payment receipt. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to confirm the reimbursement and avoid any further issues.

After receiving a message from the car dealership that my claim was denied. I have called Palmer several times and left several messages to receive my denial in writing. I have not received a call back or the written denial. This company takes your money and found any and every reason to deny your claim and do not want to send you any verification and in this way you do not know if your claim was really denied and this company maybe keeping your money.

I was being charged for extended coverage on my car. The billing company told me they could stop payment to Palmer and gave me my policy number to cancel it. When I called Palmer, they told me, I had to call another company who was providing the coverage. She told me to consult the handbook on how to cancel. Not helpful, not sure they're legit.
$129/month covered almost nothing. All work on engine has to be pre-approved causing further delays in getting your vehicle back. Their customer service department is hostile, unhelpful, and transfers you as soon as they think you want to quit. I never signed a contract but got snookered into buying this from a clever telemarketer, yet Palmer requires written notification to cancel the "contract" or it goes to a collection agency.
Save your money, do not use Palmer for your extended warranty coverage. For the amount of money you pay out for "peace of mind" when something does go wrong with your vehicle, it is not worth it. I will end up paying over 3,000 grand for my coverage through them, but when I actually had something wrong with my vehicle, they were hard to get ahold of, did not have clear communication with me whatsoever, and hardly covered anything. In addition, I took my car to two different shops and both repair facilities said this organization was by far the hardest claims company they have ever had to work with. You are better off saving your money and using it when needed than paying for this extended warranty through this company. I hope this keeps you from making the same mistake I did in choosing this extended warranty insurance.
TERRIBLE COMPANY, and definitely would not recommend. The customer service is horrible and rude. Called to cancel for deceased father and was told to submit death certificate to an email. When no response, I was later told I had to submit in writing. Even after submitting documents and being specific about cancelling, company keeps having additional hoops to jump through. They finally sent 1 check with no information on how they prorated or came to that amount. When I questioned, they again said I have to submit my request in writing (When it should have been included with the check)...submitted in writing and STILL didn't get an answer. They ended up sending me another check, more in line as to what was paid, but I was still never given a breakdown. I was REAL close to small claims court. All of this took almost 4 months. I would NEVER purchase anything from this company. Don't even want to give them 1 star, but looks like I have to in order to proceed with post.

They don't honor anything like there booklet say it covers. They don't pay for the tow to a shop that's your responsibility. Your pretty much stuck 100% paying for repairs. There service department is as rude as rude can be. They refuse to cancel the service agreement. Now have to contact the bank to block payments for a fraudulent service that covers absolutely nothing. If it sounds to good to be true you know what it's a real scam.

I purchased a new vehicle so, I needed to cancel this service. when i called i was advised where to find the cancellation instructions. they require that you mail a "letter" how outdated is this process.. come on we are in 2020 so much is done electronically to make things more smooth for the consumer and expedite processes. when i made this comment to the "manager" who so happened to answer the phone he basically said I should read. he was rude to say the least. I called again today, as I had shipped the documents requested not realizing that this is going to a PO BOX I was receiving notifications that the package was undeliverable, when I call to try and get a physical address to have this rerouted I was advised that they do not have one.. "the cancellation department mail goes to a PO BOX" end of story. Why is this so difficult. Now, I lose another couple of weeks trying to cancel this.. Biggest waste of money I have ever spent, They mislead you into thinking you have peace of mind when owning your vehicle. I pay my monthly payment on time every month and try to make my first claim only to get the run around. I should have known it was to good to be true, company closes at 6pm and is closed all weekend so no authorization till Monday, then they need to send an inspector out, could be 3 days to get one out, then they only authorize $300.00 of a $900.00 repair. When you try to call customer service to complain they hang up on you. I cannot stress this enough BUYER BEWARE, do not purchase a warranty from this company PALMER ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. I have paid close to $1800.00 into this warranty thinking I was covered and just given the run around, They offer rental car with the warranty but will only pay $30.00 for every 8 hours of labor and only after they have approved your claim so in my case it has been 6 days of no car and they claim it should take 4 hours to fix so they will pay $15.00 toward a rental. They also only pay $100.00 an hour in labor too. What major dealer only charges a $100.00 an hour? You will be on the hook for the remaining. They authorize aftermarket parts to repair your car not OEM parts. They are worthless I will never trust any warranty company again. Every excuse not to honor a claim. Told my repair center I was not covered and that I cancelled the policy. When I called back to discuss the lie they said the VIN was wrong. My turbo blew and ruined the catalytic converter by blowing oil through a result of the turbo and would not cover any repairs except the turbo only and tried to get out of that too with all kind of policy excuses but no explanation for payments on time every month and up to date. SALES OVER EXAGGERATES COVERAGE. DIFFICULT TO FILE CLAIMS. COVERAGE VERY LIMITED. UNCOOPERATIVE WITH SERVICE GARAGE.

Purchased on August 21 (Friday) from Krista. She claimed her company was connected to Palmer in Ocean, New Jersey. She assured us of her affiliation with our local Honda dealer and reduced the monthly fee from $149 to $119 with approval from a manager or supervisor, who joined the call and surprisingly had the last four digits of my credit card. On Saturday, we realized that our current extended warranty wasn't expiring anytime soon—it had 7 more years left! On Monday, August 24, I attempted to cancel by calling Krista's number, only to receive a message stating that all representatives were working from home due to Covid-19. I left a cancellation message. I continued to call Krista's number daily through September 1. On September 1, I contacted Palmer directly to cancel, but was redirected to the same number I had been calling since August 24. After calling back and insisting not to be transferred, I recounted the events only to discover I was speaking to no one. I tried once more, and a man answered, but yet again, I found myself speaking to no one. I have decided to write a letter to Next Auto Protection, which seems to hold the contract. Krista is listed as a Protection Specialist, and their contact number is the same one I've been dialing since August 24. It's unclear who Krista actually represents. I will never engage with any of these parties again.

When I called to cancel, they insisted that I must send a written letter to terminate the service. It's a sham! There was no contract signed by me, and the manager's conduct was far from professional—confrontational over the phone and displaying an arrogant demeanor, a true disappointment. The office in Ocean City, NJ, was no better; I made several attempts to resolve the issue, but a female representative hung up on me. I requested an email copy of the signed contract from Carlos, who refused, claiming that my credit card number was the contract and that I had only 30 days to cancel. This practice is questionable and likely not legal in New Jersey or any other state. To prevent further charges, I've changed my credit card information. I've also recorded our phone calls for 'future training,' as they say—after all, it works both ways. I urge potential customers to be wary of this company. It's a sham through and through! I intend to leave very negative reviews across the internet.

I called back and a guy answered and I just started telling him the events and, again, realized I was talking to NO ONE! Today I decided to write a letter to Next Auto Protection (holds contract, I guess) AND Krista *** is listed as Protection Specialist AND their phone number is the same number I have been calling since 8-24! So who does Krista actually work for? Never ever again with any of them.

I called in to get a roadside assistance going and I was told that I was not in my 30 day waiting period? I signed up for my coverage on Aug 8th 2024 and called in today Sept 11 2024 to get roadside service to get my vehicle to the shop, The lady tells me that I'm not in my 30days yet? I am in my 30day waiting period, it matured Sept 8th 2024.. So she tells me that she needs to cancel my policy?
I just got his service plan and my 1st time trying to use it I'm not getting any help with it?

Found in contact that they will not repair or replace warn parts. All parts are warn from day car off production line. This contractual limitation invalidates contract as all parts are warn. Considering clas action suit based on what I was told and wat the would allow. Bbb has 5 complaints pending. My one claim was refused as the said belt failure was due to wear wen it had not reached mfr. Replacement mileage off 100k. It was only 70-75% of that. Repair was $1000 ish..most from belt breaking other things as it started to fail. It was a partial belt failure. They refused claiming wear was cause. They currently have 5 complaints pending with BBB. Frank Stannard

I filed a claim on 7-6-2023 and it was approved. I still have not gotten payment. I have called and waited on hold for over 3 hours. I have also sent several emails with no response regarding my payment. I also contacted customer service 3 times and they said they were going to contact them every 30 minutes to call or email me. I still have not gotten any response.

Extended warranty and refund process.
I purchased an extended warranty with Palmer in 1/14/22. I recently tried to get prior authorization for repair of latch on 2013 ford edge. Car kept saying door ajar. I went thru the proper procedures to get authorization. It’s been 3 weeks and I have not heard from anyone. I left several voicemails as well as emails to the claims manager with no response. I paid the for replacement of latch. I followed proper procedure to have cancellation of warranty. I have left messages was was informed it could take up to 8 months for refund.
