Socket replacement
He stole my board and my money. I sent my board to him at the beginning of may and he has since gone silent. It cost a little over 100 dollars and he needed more because it needed a dif part. I was stupid and have tried to pay that but he wouldn't even answer to tell me how. I have since found countless bad reviews. Always check first. 400 dollar lesson.

On May 22 I ordered repair service on my computer motherboard at the cost of $69.99 plus $23.99 shipping. They accepted my payment and received my motherboard in the mail, I have UPS shipping confirmation on 1ZR4R484***8. Company did not return several emails or provide and confirmation they received my motherboard. I disputed the charged with my credit card company, but I have lost $18.11 in shipping and a motherboard worth $270 if it would have been repaired.
Reballing Genius LLC alias PS3 Specialist received my computer for repair after I prepaid $129 via PayPal
Reballing Genius LLC, also known as PS3 Specialist, received my computer for repair after I prepaid the $129 fee through PayPal. The computer was dispatched according to their guidelines on January 22nd using FedEx and was acknowledged upon delivery by an individual on January 26th. Order number 4348 is listed on their website, yet the status remains 'Awaiting Customer Package' to this day. Despite repeated attempts to contact them through their messaging system and emails for over a week, I have not received any reply. Additionally, their listed phone number is currently not operational.
I ordered a reballed ps3 listed for sale on website with the purchase price of a total $409. Pre-paid order on June 4 and received a confirmation email for my purchase. After a few weeks I checked on status of the order which read awaiting fulfillment. After failed attempts of contacting owner of business, I assume the money is gone.
I sent two Playstation 3 consoles in for repair shortly after my purchase of their repair service on May 13. There was some communication before the end of May, but then I didn't hear from them for several weeks. I started sending messages and never heard anything back. I started asking for my consoles to be returned to me, even if they were not repaired. I opened a PayPal dispute in mid-July to try and get their attention. They never responded to the PayPal dispute, so I ended up getting my money back. After complaining about the lack of communication on their Facebook page, I was told via Facebook that I, along with other complaining customers in a similar situation, would have our consoles returned to us as he decided to not fix them. However, I still have not received my consoles, and there is significant value in them, even in parts. I have been blocked from contacting them through Facebook and have not received a response to any of the additional messages I sent through their website. I even offered to pay for return shipping and asked him to send me an invoice for the shipping costs.
ps3specialist.com is the website of a business that offers to do repairs for video game consoles (principally the PS3) and other computer hardware. They have a shopping cart where you can add specific repair services from a list, and once you checkout, you are given an address to send your device to. There is a chat widget on their website, but they don't seem to monitor it. Instead, you are encouraged to send messages via their Facebook page, which is here: https://www.facebook.com/ps3specialist/ When you are inquiring about their services they respond and are friendly, but once they have your money they go silent and stop responding. I sent my PS3 in over a month ago, and the "status" of the order on my account is still listed on their website as "Customer Package Received", last updated Nov 2020. If you do a little googling around you will see that this is sort of their modus operandi. In addition to all the complaints here on ComplaintsBoard.com, you can see the same story told over and over on their google reviews: https://www.google.com/search?q=ps3specialist+reviews&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS923US923&oq=ps3specialist&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j46i175i199i457j69i59j0j0i10l2j0i10i30j69i60.2142j0j15&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#lrd=0x80c3368118a097e1:0xaaa576910b92778c,1,,, ...and on Yelp: https://www.yelp.com/biz/ps3-specialist-rancho-cucamonga ...and on ripoffreport.com: https://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/ps3specialist ...and on, and on. I sent my PS4 for an HDMI port repair in May
I sent my PS4 for an HDMI port repair in May. After not hearing anything back for weeks I emailed them asking for an update in which they said they would have done and mailed by that Monday. It never happened. Since then I've emailed several times from multiple sources and they do not respond if include information from previous emails. But the one email I sent incognito asking if they do HDMI port repairs I got a reply fairly quickly. It is now July, almost August and I haven't heard anything since. I doubt it will see my PlayStation ever again.
I purchased a repair service for my PS3 on March this year. I sent my PS3 to the seller for repair and due to not fulfilling the repair, I requested a refund for the service. I received the refund but I still haven't received my PS3 back from the seller. I have sent multiple emails, messages on his website and messages on facebook but no reply from the seller.
I sent in my PlayStation 3 to be repaired in May of this year. The repair was "completed" and returned to me. Once I received it, my PlayStation still would not work, showing a gross negligence to even test the machine upon repair. I contacted them to let them know, and they said that they knew the problem and to return it to get fixed. Since then, I have received very little correspondence and was told in August that I would receive good news after I asked for an update. It is October, and I have reached out multiple times and have received no contact from anyone.
i sent back my ps3 for a 2nd warranty repair, the first one didn't hold out, and took some time, but i got it back. this time zero communication after febuary 2020, its now october, 8+ months without any communication. I want my ps3 back, and i think it may be stolen or gone or hacked for parts. Khaled, is bad business person w poor communication w me and everyone else.
Sent my ps3 to him to repair in August, paid $264 for the reballing service. It is now the end of October and I still don't have my ps3 back. He has since stopped replying to emails, and there is no other way to contact him. He has stolen my ps3, and most likely parted it out. I really want my console back repaired or not.

I sent an Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer to Reballing Genius LLC in Rancho Cucamonga, CA on Feb 29th to be repaired. I have proof of the delivery and copies of emails from the store representative (***) acknowledging receipt of the laptop. The last email from him was from March 16th stating that he should have "good news" about the repair. I have never heard anything further from him despite numerous emails asking about the repair status. I paid for the repair in full. I also paid for the shipping. I filed a complaint with PayPal. They contacted the store about my complaint but never received a reply. PayPal refunded the repair charge. I have not been refunded for the shipping charge. The most important problem however, is that Reballing Genius LLC still has the laptop and I want that back. I have emailed and demanded to have the laptop returned to me but they have never replied.

I paid for repair on my ps3 on July 15
I paid for repair on my ps3 on July 15. Sent it to this company as per instructions on July 16. August i started asking how my repair was going. He said they were getting to it. In September I asked again He said they were behind but would get to it soon. I asked again in October. This time he said the Graphics chip was bad And for me to be patient they were working on it. Each one of these communications took MULTIPLE messages from me to finally get a response. Now it is January . I have been trying to find out the status of my ps3 since December. NO CONTACT. Basically he has my PS3 and my money. THEFT!

I used his service to repair my Mac laptop
I used his service to repair my Mac laptop. I paid him over $400 to reball the VGA chip on my laptop. He did it the first time and it worked for 2 weeks then failed, I sent it back to him (shipping was paid by me to him and return) and he promised it would be fixed. He sent it back after having it a month and the laptop worked for only a couple days. He said send it back and he promised it would be fixed correctly. So I did send it ($45 shipping paid by me) and he no longer returns any correspondence. So he was paid twice to fix the laptop and I incurred shipping costs 3 times to him and 2 times return shipping to me. So he has my $2000 laptop with IRS data on it that I need, will not respond. I have paid him over $400 for the repairs and about $230 in shipping. And I have no laptop, no data and paid him. What a scumbag he is!

Before Thanksgiving I purchased an order for this "company" to repair my MacBook Pro's GPU
Before Thanksgiving I purchased an order for this "company" to repair my MacBook Pro's GPU. The Mac worked great using integrated graphics, but I wanted it to be 100% for my own sake. The tracking number shows my laptop was delivered the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. The listing stated the laptop would be fixed and returned in 3-5 business days. It has now been over a month. He has offered little to no contact other than one week saying the laptop should be taken care of by the end of the week and another week stating "it's the holidays and I'm running behind." If you're going to be running behind during the holidays then don't make your post say 3-5 business days and then take over a month. Ebay has refunded my purchase price, but he still has my MacBook and at this point I don't care if it's fixed or not I just want my laptop back or I want him to pay the price for a 15" MacBook Pro i7, 16gb RAM and an upgraded Samsung SSD. I'm losing out on work because of this!

Company sells services targeting laptop and game console repairs
Company sells services targeting laptop and game console repairs. Once the service is purchased and hardware is mailed to his residence, communication is cut off for those of us who are not located near his business. An expensive MacPro along with a $254.98 repair service fee are unanswered for since December 4th of 2019. Numerous emails have been sent for status, and a non-working number on his website does not help. He did reply once on Jan 7th last month with reason for delay being a supply of solder that was delayed for him and that we would get our laptops by the end of that week. That was over a month ago. I am not the only one, there are others and will let them know to file a complaint as well so that you may have additional consumers with similar experiences. Also found that he operates out of the Pomona Indoor Swap meet location as well where a different phone number was listed (https:***5): Reballing Genius LLC Computers / Electronics / Accessories|Services Space: *** Phone: *** I called and left him a voice message regarding this whole issue -- he still has not replied. The concern is that we may be getting ripped off, possibly by stringing us along with different excuses long enough that we give up on ever getting our hardware back. And now that I found he has a location in a swap meet it seems to add up.

I sent an expensive and rare video game console, a Playstation 3 (PS3), for repair at PS3 Specialist. This video game system plays several generations of Playstation games and while it is no longer manufactured, it goes for about $350-$400. I made my payment on Nov. 2nd and sent my item for repair a few days later, after receiving an email on Nov. 14th. My PlayStation 3 had some errors and I spend many nights looking for repair shops. PS3 Specialist came up in almost every search. The reviews were not too great, but I had used them a few years ago and had no issues. I also could not find any other service that performed a procedure called reballing --which is what I thought my device needed. The following is the services I paid for: Play Station 3 (Model CECHE01) reballing repair, overheating repair. *reballing is a type of repair to fix the CPU and GPU of computers. However, after sending in my PS3 and sending the repair fee, which was $174.99, I stopped hearing from PS3 Special...

I made this purchase for repair on November 2nd and it is now March 1st and I have not heard a single update. I have sent several messages using their online website and I've sent several emails asking for an update. When I call their phone number at ***, I get a busy signal. In one of the emails I received, I also noticed another phone number on one of the confirmation emails which is: (***. When I call this number, it goes to an automatic message at a place called magicJack.com and the automated voice states the number is not active. I feel like 119 days is a very long time for a repair to take place, especially without any updates --not to mention I've been totally blown off.
