If I could leave zero stars I would, Puravidas customer service is horrible. I bought a shark tooth ring that I have been wanting for a long time. It says on the return and exchange site that any rings can be returned 30 days after the purchase of the item unless the item was on the final sale. I did not buy my ring on final sale and I have proof of the transaction date. But when I tried to return it because it literally fell apart after a few days of wearing it, it said I could no longer return or exchange it and I had it for a total of 6 days. I never wore my ring in the shower, or washed my hands with it on and I only wore it 2 out of 6 days that I had it, which means It fell apart with only two days of use. I have pictures, dates, and transactions to prove everything. I cannot get a response from the support team, nor anything and I am so frustrated. I will be leaving negative reviews on all platforms if someone does not help me.

I ordered several items for my niece for her birthday and we had an issue with one of the pieces. Much to her delight I was able to quickly order a replacement.This is one of several orders I have placed with them over the past couple of years and it's the first time I have had an issue. I appreciate their mission and will continue to support.

Excellent customer service. I placed an order and after 2 weeks it still had yet to ship. I emailed customer service and they were very quick to respond to my emails and assist me and solve the issues and get my order shipped out to me again with compensation for the delay. Love their jewelry and will continue to purchase from them in the future.

Pura Vida Bracelets My package didn't arrive for a long time

My package didn't arrive for a long time. That was no update from either the tracking website or their own website. I emailed customer service and they gave me a certain date and said if it's not arriving by this date they will send me a replacement. After that date, I contacted customer service this time and they told me to wait longer and I showed them an email about the replacement. And things that I bought were discounted at the time and in the beginning, she wanted to proceed with replacement from original prices ?! In the end, she still gave me less than what it suppose to be. So that wasn't fair and in meanwhile she made me wait more than 10 minutes to talk to other customers ( She told me that). And the items that I ordered were out of stock so I had to choose things to replace my order and so I had to look for new things. After she made me wait more than 10 minutes, she left the conversation the second minute that I didn't reply to her when I was choosing a replacement. And she knew that I am looking for new items! It's so rude and ridiculous. Worst customer service ever. Never go shopping with you again.

Great company, wonderful *** I had an issue with selecting my subscription pack, I wasnt going to bother them so I just left a 3 star review in an email survey they sent, they reached out to me to see what I was unhappy about and then sent the bracelet pack I wanted. Above and beyond! Quality products, I love everything Ive received from them.

5 star customer service. In many years of shopping and purchasing from Pura Vida Ive never experienced any issues until now and their customer service representative handled my issue from start to finish. Very attentive and knowledgeable. I was 100% satisfied with the way this was handled.

I have been a customer for a few years! I joined the bracelet club and did that for 2 years. I am a swim *** like to give swimmers these bracelets when they get their first state cut (mostly the girls like this). A couple of times only I had some issues with price or choice for the bracelet club and the customer service center has always been very professional and fair.

Cute items, but this company does not stand behind their product delivery. First items ordered had earring posts bent back flat. Called and they sent me new ones, decided to try the bracelet club ($33) and about $60 worth of Shark Week stuff for my birthday - bracelet club items finally shipped on the last shipping day (still havent received them though), but still processing the Shark Week items ordered the same day, with no ship date given. Shark Week is almost half over, and leaving for a trip that I had hoped to take my jewelry on - again, a birthday trip! After 2 hours of texts/chats and emails, still no shipping date of my Shark Week items and it took several emails to speak with a supervisor (phone customer service is still not available due to Covid? Really? Im a nurse, time to get back to work.) Finally got a supervisor email, still with no information but an apology and an excuse. Good customer service would be to make the customer happy and resolve the problem, not just apologize. Once my subscription is up, I am cancelling the bracelet club... this is not good business or how you treat your customers.

I love the Pura Vida products. Great price and very good quality. I had an issue with my rewards I had earned not being deducted from my purchase. I contacted customer service and they corrected the issue right away. I'll continue to be a loyal customer!

Never buying Pura Vida again! My mom got my dauggter a ring for her graduation, and some other items. We realized after we ordered the ring she actually already has the ring.So I call the company and they arent taking calls because of Covid.okay.. so I do a chat online and when I tell them what happened they say rings cant be returned or exchanged except for a different size..so when I ask what to do when Im stuck with a product I dont want and tell them that is kind of crappy customer service, they tell me they can make a 1 time exception and refund me.So I get a link, that doesnt work, and then when he asks if there is anything else he can do, I tell them no he was useless and Ill Shop from them again, He respond with and I quote, we do not tolerate unkind words here and please take your business elsewhere. Thanks for chatting with us and have a great day.I wasnt asking for a refund, I was asking for another product of the same value or to pay the difference if the item was more. Why do companies treat customers so [censored]ty? Never again, too bad because my daughter loves their stuff and I did too, but never again will I order from them!

I joined the bracelet club and the first time I had to choose my bracelet, I couldn't figure it out. I emailed customer service and they very promptly got back to me. In a day and time where you can't find good customer service, this was a very welcome surprise! I truly appreciated it. I will continue to purchase from this company for that very reason.

My package, due to the delivery service was ripped open, and all the bracelets were damaged or dirty. *** replaced them all and were so helpful and kind. They were a gift for a very dear friend who always goes to the beach with me. We always buy a new summer *** set to celebrate summer. This year, she has breast cancer so we won't be going together. I wanted her to still have a new set this year to give her hope for our beach trip ***. They replaced them all, even the ones with only some dirt or tags torn off, so that she would get a pristine new set. Thank you, ***?

Pura Vida Bracelets I first starting placing orders with Pura Vida November

I first starting placing orders with Pura Vida November. Love the bracelets I did receive, but there was a good handful of bracelets missing from each package I received or they were damaged. I would email and chat and no one would follow through with their responses. Then around June I started to place orders and I was automatically refunded for each and every one. I tried reaching out and no one would respond. If I got a response it was automated. I later found out that my best friend was having to same issue. When she reached out she got a response and you responded with our system underwent a glitch and accidentally blocked your account. That is why you havent been able to purchase they assured her that her account would be back up and running within a couple days. I still havent gotten a response from them and I know that the same thing happened to me along with most other people in the world. I have given that company at least 800 of my money and for them not to resolve the situation is cruel. I also had points that I accumulated and because I was blocked with a glitch I cant use those and they are going to expire soon. I wouldnt recommend creating an account or buying from this company because they still havent resolved the issues they cause.

Pura Vida Bracelets Terrible experience!

Terrible experience! But I loved this companys products before I ordered from them online. Similar to complaints submitted, I placed an order 11/22 and received a notice on 11/24 that the product was on its way. I kept checking the tracking because for several days it still stated the order was still being prepared. I waited a week and followed up by email (no phone number to call on website) and received canned generic response that they are working very hard to fulfill their orders. Then I asked if they could at least confirm they have the item since its a special holiday gift for someone and I received same canned response with an additional note saying please refrain from sending multiple emails about the same order! Here we are 4 email follow *** and over three weeks after I placed my online order and nothing, no other communication or updates. When I click on the tracking number provided, it states same message from 11/24 that it is still being processed! I realize the challenges business have these days with inventory, shipping delays, worker issues etc. but at the very least they should be more helpful and provide facts when a customer is following up on an order. Whats going on Pura Vida ? One of the worst customer service experiences ever. So disappointed.

Pura Vida Bracelets Where to begin?

Where to begin? I placed an order with Pura Vida and much to my surprise I received a note from my post man stating that I had to pay $3.04 in postage and pick up my package at the *** Ummmwhat? So I reached out to Pura Vida and I received an email back that clearly showed that the representative didnt even read my email at all. Apparently comprehension isnt a trait their agents have. So I asked them to reread the email I sent and get back to me. They never did. So I reached out via their form on the website. Apparently they get back to you within 5 hours. Well, that never happened either. I tried this method three times. I also tried to reach out via *** messenger. That didnt work either. More radio silence. Finally, I tried their chat feature. This wasnt much better. Clearly they outsource this to some overseas company. They pretty much blamed the post office and said their management team is working on this. Wow, ok. Thanks for the explanation. Oh, I did get my $3.04 refunded. So to recap. You pay a shipping fee. Then your package is held and you have to pay for postage. Then you have to go to the post office to get it. Then Pura Vida plays stupid and accepts no responsibility. Inept customer service and quite honestly the worst online experience Ive ever had.

Pura Vida Bracelets *** is horrible

is horrible. No one at the main office to answer phones so you have to rely on emails of online chat. I placed an order the night before and realized what I ordered was not what was wanted so I tried all day to contact customer service and could not get ahold of them. I finally got through to someone on chat and she was extremely rude and lied to me about her getting a supervisor. I needed to cancel my order so I can order the correct items and they would not let me cancel and reorder or cancel the items I did not need and order what I did need. I spent over 200 on this order, you would think they would be appreciative and honor what customers would like to do with their orders since my order wasnt even shipped out yet. Im so upset over this. How can a company who supports mental health awareness treat customers this way. Does the proceeds really go to the foundations they say it really goes to ? I got so mad at the rep on chat I informed her I wanted to cancel My entire order as it hasnt been 24 hours since I placed it and was told I was not allowed to cancel my order. I do not want items from a company like this. How dare they promote something as serious as mental health and treat people like garbage and say they do it for security reasons ? I want my money back and you can keep your items !

Pura Vida Bracelets I had a reaction to the string bracelets that gave me a painful rash for over a week

I had a reaction to the string bracelets that gave me a painful rash for over a week. I have never reacted to any kind of jewelry like that. I asked to return the set I hadn't used. I was given two store credit codes that would only work on a small selection of their items and wouldn't work on anything that was on sale, limiting the choices to a handful of metal jewelry I could try. In order to use the store credit I had to spend another $18 per order for the site to apply the credit. I received an email saying my packages had been delivered, but it may take up to 5 more days for them to actually be delivered. Their tracking doesn't work! I received one of the two packages a week later. The post earrings were smashed in the mailer and I have sent emails asking for a replacement but have not gotten a response from any of them.I emailed about the second package never arriving and had to reopen a case because they decided they had resolved the issue without resolving anything. Supposedly there is another package being sent as a replacement but I am not holding my breath. Multiple email responses I got from them during this whole experience seemed like they either ignore emails or don't read them because responses were not always relevant to what I had sent if they even responded. This place is a SCAM and this is the worst customer service experience of the year!

Pura Vida Bracelets Over a month without resolution!

Over a month without resolution! I ordered a bracelet for a client through Pura vida's website . They refuse to answer any of my phone calls when I questioned how long the shipping process would take. It had already been three weeks since I placed the order , and to my surprise, I recieved automatic reply emails. I have yet to speak to someone by phone. They make it clear that their process of getting back to you is slow, which I understand. I don't understand how a company can send the wrong bracelet and not fix this promptly. I have called, sent emails , and the time it took to receive a bracelet with three letters BFF was approximately one month. I finally received the bracelet getting ready to mail it to a client and instead of saying" BFF" it said "BBF. " Now I am even more frustrated ,and having to come up with a different solution for my client in place of the bracelet that was already paid for, I have no one from Pura Vida fixing this. They continue to tell me they are not available by phone. They refuse to answer my emails in a timely manner. They asked me to send photos instead of talking to me by phone and fixing this. This is unacceptable customer service I have wasted money and time. If they stand behind their policy of no returns, then the least they can do is provide good customer service. No one has resolved my issue and I ordered this over a month ago.

If I could give this company 0 stars or negative stars, I would. I am not a person to give bad ratings, I usually yearn to give good ratings, fair ones. Months after my first order I am still having trouble with this company.Still no one has fixed the issue. I am currently "dealing" with unreceived merchandise and missing merchandise. No one cares. No one calls. I have been scammed by Pura Vida.I sent back a stackable ring for a larger size and still haven't received it and now I am getting emails stating that it is too late when I have already sent them back. No refund, no rings, nothing. That's about $25 + S&h.Also, I sent back two identical hideous mystery bracelets which I was told would be replaced and I only received one of them, a smashed and distorted green horseshoe one. But that's it, no more. Not another one and still no rings I paid full price for.I, like an idiot, placed an order for my niece as a gift. She loves daisy's and so I thought, hey give these people a chance. Well, the rings are too big and now I probably won't be able to trade them and even if sent back, they will be kept and never replaced like the stackable ring. And no refund. This company is A MESS. It's been two months since this nightmare started.Truly, I have never dealt with such incompetence.I have asked for someone to call me or someone to make sense in the emails they send. One guy, *** just told me nothing can be done. They owe me the refund for the ring and a bracelet. Nevermind the switching of rings that don't fit. I am done with them, but be very aware of their scams!*** C

I should have done more research before ordering from this company. I spend almost $80 on bracelets and an anklet for myself and my girls. I ran into some financial difficulties after receiving the product. So I got online so I could send them back for a refund. Ok my fault I was apparently reading he return info on swimwear I guess, but I followed all those directions. I emailed proof of purchase. I emailed explaining why I was returning the product and that it was within the return window. I send my products back in original packaging to the address listed on the site "3131 Memorial Court Apt 9101, Houston, TX, 77007, United States." I even emailed the UPS tracking number to them and notified them my package was on its way. I received NO response to any of those emails. I tried to live chat, which you cannot do. I tried calling, they just say to email. I have emailed over a handful of times, I heard back from someone named Judy. Who informed me that there is a no return policy and that I didn't send my item to the warehouse. First of all I had no idea there was a no return/refund policy I most definitely would not have ordered had I known that but most importantly i have NO PRODUCT, and NO REFUND. And they have my order! It was sent and DELIVERED to the address provided on their site. I have since then emailed 3 more times so someone can tell me what can be done about this. Because I'm out almost $80 now and I don't even have the order. Still no one has responded to any emails. Other than Judy who told me there is no returns and my order was not sent to their warehouse.

Pura Vida Bracelets I placed an order for a bracelet & a ring at the same time

I placed an order for a bracelet & a ring at the same time. They are both engraved, which I fully understand is "nonrefundable" since it is personalized. I received the items in a timely manner. And the items were decent looking. But my ring was sent to me 3 sizes smaller than what I ordered, and would not fit any of my fingers at all, so I contacted the company via email. I ended up contacting the company 3 separate times one different days after never receiving a response. I finally received a response from a lady that said they were sorry, and if I sent her pictures & verified my mailing address they would send a replacement ring. She responded to my photos & address explaining that my ring would be remade & sent to me at no additional cost. I have since received an email from a gentleman who asked for photos of the item & to verify my shipping address. And after I sent them to him he was extremely rude, and told me that I would take the loss or that they could credit my account $20 so I could pick something out, but that there was absolutely no way that they would remake my items or refund me. I tried explaining to him that I had already spoke to someone else that was handling the situation, and said that they were indeed sending a replacement, and he continued to tell me the same things. Extremely unprofessional. Extremely rude. Extremely frustrating. And, I still have no idea if I am or am not being sent a replacement. The communication from this company is a disgrace. And to have two different people responding to you while both contradicting one another is ridiculous.

Pura Vida Bracelets I was excited to order the monthly bracelet subscription but so far its been a nightmare to experience!

I was excited to order the monthly bracelet subscription but so far its been a nightmare to experience! First of all, ordering from *** I got switched to their *** site (so forgo the free gift), then I was supposed to get 20% off my first order (which I didn't), but I ordered anyway agreeing to pay $11 a month for 12 month upfront. =$132 apparently in *** dollars (*** site now) and free shipping. Got charged over $200 on credit card (which was not the amount I OK'd for my credit card purchase, THEN, I reached out to them to explain and while waiting a response got a notification from the shipping company that I need to pay them $49 for duties and taxes. They have the amount of $180 value of the item! The one package they are shipping is supposed to be $11 value NOT the entire value for the year! And it isn't resolved yet. At this point I am extremely disappointed and am now worrying that I am going to get charged $49 every month for a year now for an item I originally agreed to pay $11 for. I did receive an automatic reply apologizing for the shipping costs and they said they are aware as it says free shipping HOWEVER they aren't listening to the issue! They put down on the one package the amount of the entire year I purchased. If they put the value as $11 anything under $40 is usually no duties or taxes.I am also now getting multiple generic emails from the shipping company to pay this money. Today they sent me a message saying they shipped it and I will need me to pay the $49 on arrival!This was ordered for my daughter out of her allowance, and supposed to be a fun thing. IT IS GOING TO END UP COSTING $788 FOR THE 1 YEAR SUBCRIPTION that still says clearly on the website $11 a month. Which is $656 more than I agreed to pay. WARNING TO OTHERS.

I ordered approximately $80 with of product for Christmas gifts in November. December they were shipped out but never delivered. *** website auto corrected my address to an undeliverable address. I emailed and stated I wanted a refund as my order would not arrive before Christmas. I was told no refunds until my package was returned to them. The package went back to *** then attempted to redeliver to me in . Now the package is back in *** only now they lost the tracking number and the package. Im still being told they will not refund me until they have their package. I have a copy of the tracking info that shows I do not have the merchandise. So now this package has mysteriously been lost and Im just expected to be out money for products I will never see and will probably not be returned to the company.

I recently ordered a package, the exact date was November 26th. The shipping had said 4-6 business days and it has almost 2 weeks. My order has also said shipped for about a week and is not moving. I am curious to why.

I spent $23.84 on bracelets online at Pura Vida. I placed my order on 11/24 and it is now 12/9. I got an email saying that they shipped it on 11/24 that my order was shipped and on its way. I used the link in the email and *** website says that they are still preparing my order but their emails say it has shipped. *** says they have not received the package. A friend ordered theirs on the same day I did and they live in my town and she received hers 3-4 days after placing her order. I have already been charged for the bracelets.

I purchased several bracelets on September 11. I got an email confirmation that day. Well, weeks passed and I hadn't received my package or an email update. On October 11, I reached out to Pura Vida for an update and they stated that for some reason it was never sent out and they apologize but they will mail them out to me. Today, on October 12, I received another email stating that 3 of the bracelets I ordered were now out of stock but I could repurchase others on their website if I wanted to. The cost of each bracelet is $6. They stated they will refund me for those 3 for a total of $15.54. That math doesn't add up at all. I purchased these as a birthday gift which was on Sept 29th. I asked them if there is any way they can expedite the shipping because this was an issue/delay on their end and they refused. I will never do business with this company again.

My 13 year old saved and saved for a bracelet that literally just came out a week ago. She bought it while out of town for a ball tournament .. wore it once and it fell apart. This huge corporation will not do not one thing to repair, replace anything to a very expensive in my opinion broken bracelet. They know it isnt old it was JUST released.. they have been sent photos and everything. Their customer service is TERRIBLE

I placed an order with pure vida November 28: my order was shipped 7 days ago, and my order just arrived today. I received an email that my order arrived today as well. Part of my order was missing / not included in the pacakage. I attempted to contact customer service and requested a refund as the item I was missing, literally only a sticker that cost $1.25, was not included. They blew me off and. Said it would arrive in 72 hours although I have no indication that this could possibly be true. I literally just want a refund and they cant bother to do that. By some slim possibility that it were true this could arrive in 72 hours although I have no indication this is going to happen I would not need this anymore as it already took this long to arrive and was part of a gift. I spent $153.90 with this company on 12/23. I then receive an email on 12/25 that they are having a sale. Turns out everything I ordered went down in price...by about a total of $50. And that was 2 days later! I emailed the company and asked them to refund the difference. Normally I wouldn't mind, but $50 is a large amount. They sent me an email back stating that since the items have shipped they cannot refund me the difference. I find this ridiculous! So I told them I would like to return everything once it arrives at my home since they won't honor the price difference. Now they tell me I cannot return the items because they are Final Sale. This company doesn't even accept returns!? So basically the customer gets screwed no matter what! This company is a bunch of crooks. I just want my $50 difference returned. It is ridiculous they cannot help me in any way.

I purchased 2 rings from Pura Vida online on January 24. The shipping is supposed to be 6 business days and 3-5 days of processing. But it has been 16 days and there is no way to contact the company because when you call the number the call line is closed for Covid. Why would a call line be shut down? I think its pretty easy to forward calls to people at home. I understand its just an excuse. Im just really mad at the girl *** from the chat. She lied and told me the package had been delivered and then backtracked and tried to say that she meant that it had just gotten to my local post office. But the tracking info has said the same thing for a whole week. It even said it was out for delivery last week. I am most upset about how this person handled the instant messaging conversation just lying to me to get me off the line and then not giving me any real solution other than wait. Amazon would have just sent me another one. After 2 days.

I ordered custom bracelets for a fundraiser for my daughters school, apparently the mailing address was incorrect and instead of delivering the package the way it was addressed (to my neighbors) it was take to the post office. The post office has no record of this package and has yet to receive it. No one knows where it is. I have attempted to contact Pura Vida multiple times since July 24 (delivery day) without success. I cannot take to anyone on the phone because their phones are shut down. I have sent numerous emails with a generic response to contact my post office. I have online chatted, with their response they cannot help me. I have no package and and out almost $500.

Their businesss bait and switch SMS marketing tactic is misleading, confusing, deceiving, and unethical. Date of the purchase: September 19 The amount of money I paid the business: Total $140.54 (including Tax) What the business committed to provide: 20% off with SMS sign up The nature of the dispute: *** did not honor the 20% off; there was no disclaimer displayed for the term of the offer at the time of purchase. Also, they automatically added a discounted item to your shopping cart, which will avoid any deals (per customer service). What a dishonest trick! I placed orders for my daughter's athletic trainers fundraiser on 7/27 for 400 bracelets (totaling a little more than $1800 with tax and shipping) and was aware of the 6-8 week turnaround. Now, 10 weeks later, I have been informed that the artisans overlooked my orders and it will take an additional 6-8 weeks for the orders to arrive. A total of 18 weeks from the time the orders were placed and paid for before we can "expect" to receive the products. This is the fundraiser approved by the school for this organization for this year and is to take place now. There is no customer service to speak to and the live chat could not help me. I got this update through email with the fundraising department. They have offered a 20% refund but will still have to wait an additional 6-8 weeks for the order. This should be expedited as it is their major mistake and a lot of money but cannot get a response on why it can not be resolved sooner. Custom Orders ***, ***, ***.

I tried calling the company but they are not accepting phone calls due to covid and you can only email them or do online chat with a *** all day I emailed the company and at 330pm maybe even closer to 4 I finally was able to speak to someone on chat. I begged the rep to cancel out a few bracelets in my order ( side note I had well over 250 dollars worth of items to support mental health awareness) I only needed to take off the few bracelets in my order and everything else stays. The rep kept telling me I couldnt do that, I had to take what I ordered. Its been less than 24 hours since I placed my order, it hadnt even been shipped out it was still processing. Any other company wouldnt have a problem removing items from an order. I am so angry, I dont want my order and I was told I cant cancel

I've had a severe allergic reaction from wearing two Pura Vida bracelets for which I had to go to urgent care and get two strong steroids *** and a strong antihistamine (rupatadine). I contacted the company first by chat and then by email requesting the exact ingredients of the wax coating used on the bracelets so that I can follow-up with my doctor, get tested, and ID exactly what caused the severe allergic reaction so I can avoid it from happening again. Their "chatbot" provided a completely unacceptable answer. I have yet to receive a reply to my email. I don't see why this is so difficult -- that is of course unless they have something to hide. I told them I'll continue to escalate the issue until I receive what I am asking for; I do not think my request is unreasonable, given that medical attention was required. I have contacted an attorney who advised I contact ComplaintsBoard.com first. Please advise what the next step could be. I just want the ingredient list.

It is now December 8th, and I have not been given an update as to where my package is, or why it has not moved from La Jolla, California. When clicking on my tracking number, it states that the package is en route to the DHL Ecommerce Distribution Center and a short message that states there has been a delay in transit. On Pura Vida's website, it states to fill out a form if the customer has not been given an update on their package for more than a week, and it is soon approaching eight days. I filled out the form and was told I would be given a response in 4-6 hours, yet I still have no emails in my inbox from Pura Vida. This is very frustrating because I was excited to receive my package, but now it feels as though I will never receive it, and that this store has simply taken my money. I love their products, but this incident is deterring me from purchasing from their store again.

I placed a custom fundraising order for my cheerleading team on August 16th. The order totalled 789.75.At the end of 8 weeks, we contacted the company for an order status update once a weekfor four weeks (every week since week 8). When we got a reply, we were told that the order was ready to be shipped and that we would receive tracking information. This was almost three weeks ago and we have recieved none of this information. I have spent most of today trying to speak to someone on the phone and have been told that they are not taking calls because of COVID restrictions and social distancing.The last thing we received was this "Rest assured that our *** are really working hard to have every custom order be delivered as soon as possible as we truly understand how important this is." This delay has tarnished my name within the community as it looks like I have collected money and not delivered the product. I have no doubt that it will also impact our ability to fundraise in the future. People will be reluctant to buy anything else from us. This is beyond unacceptable.

My husband purchased a necklace for me online that was $40 (a gift that the kids were getting me for Xmas). They had a promo going on that was buy one get one free so they also got a ring for me that was around $12-$14, but free due to the promo. We only received the ring and they told us that the necklace was out of stock. However, they still charged us $40 plus tax for the necklace that they never sent out. We contacted them numerous times asking why they are charging us for a product they never sent us and they keep on insisting that we can replace it with something else, but we dont want anything else. Most businesses charge you when they ship something out and most definitely would not charge you for a product they dont send you. The only reason we got the ring was because of the buy one get one free offer and we would not have purchased it otherwise. We asked them for a refund for the price we paid for the necklace and said we would return the ring, but they said no. The least they could do is refund us the money minus the price of the ring. They keep offering us store credit but we should be able to get a refund since the product was never sent to us.

We placed an order on 8/19 for a fundraiser we were doing for domestic violence We were aware of the lengthy timelines for the order. We waited patiently for our order and asked for an update as due time approached. We were told to continuing waiting. Once the time had passed we asked for another update and they said it was finished up and waiting to go to shipping once it went there we would have a tracking number. I have reached out at least a minimum of 10 times regarding this issue and asking for proof our order was completed. They gave us a $120 refund to pacify us. I have never gotten any actual proof our order is completed, I have no tracking number and it about to be 4 weeks outside of their provided timeframe! The last correspondence I received was Tuesday 11/2 stating that they would be following up with the warehouse and shipping for me. I have emailed numerous times since then and I have not gotten any answer from them. We have had multiple people calling wanting their product being very upset with our business due to Pura Vida's poor business management skills. We were never noticed that our order may take longer than the time frames they gave or any indication that it would be late. This is absolutely unacceptable! Our business is looking bad due to this issue and we are out a lot of money for a custom order that is not being accounted for.

We have allowed our daughter to be monthly subscriber with oura vida for a year. While budgeting beginning the 2020 year, we saw we were not going to be able to continue with the subscription as our budget would no longer allow this. We were paid up until March , so I called Jan. 2020 and cancelled the subscription over the phone. Well today I received an email stating that $82 had been withdrawn from our account . I emailed and sent also a complaint through chat . I received an email that they cancelled my next withdrawal scheduled to come out in 6 mos. they said they had email records cancelling my subscription, at no time did anyone mention to me that an email would be sent for me to keep for my records and I didn't know to look for one. Nor did I ever receive any such email at all. I am very upset about this and have never filed a complaint on any business before but this is very upsetting as I did everything in power to end this subscription not at the last moment but two months prior. My husband lost his leg and is handicapped and this extra spending is no longer feasible to our current situation. I am highly upset and distressed. I know this could be resolved as the email I received to day that my order is being processed and hasn't even shipped yet! Once again I have done the responsible only thing I know to do, and am only asking for my money we have to live on be refunded.

They will not refund me $194 for a jewelry subscription that I cancelled before the first box even left the warehouse. I ordered a 12 month jewelry subscription and then several days later decided to buy some jewelry outright instead of going through the monthly subscription. I sent an email and a man named Fritczh assured me that my jewelry club subscription had been cancelled. Two weeks later I got an email stating my first box had shipped. When the package arrived, I called customer service to explain and the women was quite rude. Would not let me speak with a manager and said per their policy, I had "prepaid" and therefore I could not be refunded. She said she could cancel the subscription but that no refund could be issued ..again because I "Prepaid." She kept going around in circles with me. I argued that everything orders online from any company is "prepaid." She insisted that because I already received orders that the remaining months could not be refunded. I reiterated multiple times that I attempted to cancel my monthly subscription BEFORE THE FIRST BOX shipped out. I have emailed the company multiple times and each person gives me the same response. I have contacted my credit card company who is handling the matter and I have sent the first month box back unopened and they are emailing me now asking how they can send it back to me. This jewelry club is a scam. Bottom line. They try to rope you into a never ending club, with auto renewal, making it nearly impossible to cancel.
