Puregear Steel 360 Screen Protector: Hassle with Warranty Registration
So, I recently got my hands on a Puregear Steel 360 screen protector as a gift for my new iPhone 11. The packaging looked pretty sleek and the promise of a lifetime warranty definitely caught my attention. However, the installation process was a bit of a hassle compared to other brands I've used in the past. But the real issue came when I tried to register for the warranty online.
The registration form demanded a copy of the sales receipt, which I didn't have since it was a gift. I tried emailing the company twice but got no response, so I decided to give them a call. Unfortunately, I was met with voicemail both times and no one returned my calls. Finally, I was able to get a representative on the phone who told me that without a receipt, there was nothing they could do.
I was pretty frustrated at this point, but a manager eventually called me back and explained that they only offer the Pure Pledge warranty if you purchase from authorized dealers. While I understand the reasoning behind this, it still seems a bit unfair to those who receive the product as a gift and don't have a receipt.
On the bright side, I do have the box with all the necessary numbers and codes, so I'm hoping that will be enough to prove my purchase. But overall, I'm not too impressed with Puregear. The Steel 360 screen protector is more expensive than most and the warranty process has been a headache. I wouldn't recommend this company to others unless they're willing to jump through hoops to get their warranty.
PureGear's Lack of Customer Service Leaves Me Disappointed and Frustrated
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with PureGear. I mean, I bought one of their Glass Screen Protectors for my Galaxy 9 phone, and after just 9 months of use, it started falling off. Now, I know it's got a 1 year warranty, so I figured I'd just get it replaced. But nope, PureGear wouldn't even answer my calls or emails. I tried reaching out to them 3 times by phone and 2 times by email, but they never got back to me.
Honestly, it's pretty frustrating when a company won't even acknowledge your existence. I mean, I get that they're probably busy, but come on. It's not like I was asking for the moon or anything. I just wanted them to honor their warranty and replace my defective screen protector. Is that too much to ask?
Anyway, after weeks of trying to get in touch with them, I finally gave up and went to the AT&T store where I bought the PureGear items. They suggested I buy a replacement screen protector from a different supplier, so that's what I did. It's not ideal, but at least I have a working screen protector now.
I will say that the other PureGear items I bought (two car chargers and another screen protector) are working just fine. So it's not like the whole company is a total bust. But still, it's pretty frustrating when you can't get a response from customer service.
Oh, and just to add insult to injury, PureGear did have my customer account information and a copy of my receipt on their website. So it's not like they didn't know who I was or what I was talking about. They just chose to ignore me. Not cool, PureGear. Not cool.
Poor Quality and Customer Service: My Experience with Puregear Screen Protectors for Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus
I recently purchased a couple of Puregear screen protectors for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus from my local AT&T store. Unfortunately, right off the bat, the fingerprint scanner wouldn't work. I thought maybe it just needed some time to adhere to the screen, so I waited for four days. But still, no luck. So, I decided to reach out to Puregear customer service for help.
They asked me to provide proof of purchase, which I did, and then they promised to send me two new replacements as they believed that they had received a bad batch. I was relieved to hear that, but when the replacements arrived, they were for the wrong device! I tried calling and emailing them multiple times, but I never received a reply, except for a registration confirmation on their website.
In the meantime, I kept the original protector on my phone, even though the fingerprint scanner didn't work. But to my surprise, after just one day, both protectors had cracks on them, even though I never dropped my phone. I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the product and the lack of customer service from Puregear.
I would never buy from them again and I strongly advise others to stay away from their products. I didn't even bother taking pictures of the cracked protectors, as I removed them and threw them away as soon as I could. I have been trying to contact them for over a week now, but no one has replied to my emails or returned my phone calls. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't work and then not receive any support from the company.
Disappointing Experience with Puregear's Lifetime Warranty Policy
I recently had an experience with Puregear that left me feeling a bit disappointed. I had purchased a lifetime warranty for almost 90 dollars, but unfortunately, I lost my warranty information and had never inquired about shipping. When I reached out to Pure-gear for assistance, I was hoping for a little more help locating my name or email in their system. However, I received a response from Alexis Medina that did not even address my question. I was left feeling like I had been scammed and would not recommend this company to others.
The response I received from Puregear was a boiler-plate message that did not provide any real assistance. It simply stated that I needed to complete a Warranty Claim Form and pay for shipping online. While I understand that this policy is standard throughout the industry and with their competitors, I was hoping for a little more personalized help. After all, I had paid for a lifetime warranty and expected a little more support.
If you are in need of a Screen Protector Replacement, Puregear does offer a warranty claim form that you can complete. However, I would caution you to keep track of your warranty information and be prepared to pay for shipping. While Puregear does offer a lifetime warranty, they do not offer shipping as well.
Overall, my experience with Puregear was not a positive one. I would recommend looking for other companies that offer more personalized support and assistance. While Puregear may have competitive pricing, their lack of customer service leaves much to be desired. If you do decide to purchase from them, make sure to keep track of your warranty information and be prepared to pay for shipping.
Puregear Screen Protector Review: Poor Customer Service & Quality, Register Product ASAP
Me and my wife, we bought these screen protectors from Puregear when we got our new phones from Sprint. The packaging said we didn't need to register the product and we could just reach out to them for a warranty claim within a year of purchase.
Unfortunately, my wife's phone screen cracked and I contacted customer support. They quickly told me that if I hadn't registered the product, they couldn't help me. I was about to give them feedback on their customer service when my chat window was closed due to inactivity. That was so frustrating! It deleted my entire message and I couldn't recover it.
If you decide to buy this product, make sure to find the website in really small font and register your protector right away.
The customer service was terrible. The quality of the screen protector was only slightly better than one I bought on Amazon for $7.00. We only bought them because our Sprint store had a deal for activation credit if we purchased them.
I suggest you avoid this company and spend your money elsewhere.
Beware of Pure Gear: My Disappointing Experience with Their Warranty and Products
Pure Gear is not a good company to deal with, in my opinion. I bought six phones with cases and screen protectors from them, and it wasn't a good experience. The person who sold me the products talked me into Pure Gear because of their "pledge" and lifetime warranty, but I'm not impressed. I had to register the warranties online, but only two of them were honored. When I contacted support to find out why the other four weren't honored, I had to wait ten days, and then I received a computer-generated response that didn't really answer my question.
One thing that's really frustrating is that one of the screen protectors has never adhered correctly to my brand new phone - there's no dust or fingerprints or anything else on the screen, but the protector just won't stick. Another protector has already cracked, even though I haven't mishandled the phone in any way. And to make matters worse, three more protectors have started peeling away from the phone face. It's not a good feeling to spend a lot of money on products that don't work as advertised.
If you're looking for a good warranty and peace of mind, I suggest buying from Zagg instead. Or, if you're not willing to spend a lot of money, you might be better off buying an inexpensive glass protector from somewhere else. I don't recommend Pure Gear - I've had a bad experience with them and I don't want anyone else to have the same kind of trouble.
Disappointing customer service: A review of Puregear tempered glass and charging wire
I was feeling a little fancy and decided to spoil myself by purchasing the Puregear tempered glass for my i-Phone 11. With a lifetime warranty, what more could I ask for? The sales representative convinced me with the promise of a replacement for the tempered glass if it broke and even a reimbursement of $100 if the phone itself happened to crack. Sounds like a dream come true, right? Well, not quite.
When it came time to get the replacement tempered glass, I discovered that there was an additional charge of $11.95 for shipping and handling. I was quite taken aback as this had never been mentioned before. If I had known that, I would have opted for a more affordable tempered glass and simply replaced it myself. To make matters worse, the charging wire that I purchased from Puregear stopped working after only 5 months. And yes, you guessed it, I was asked to pay shipping and handling again. It was really disappointing since I had chosen to spend more money on their products to avoid such a situation.
I decided to reach out to their customer service department and sent three emails but received no response. It was frustrating since no one bothered to acknowledge my emails, but when I did a live chat, the representative was aware of my previous emails. I don't think it's too much to expect customer service to reply to emails. It was quite disappointing, to say the least.
As a result of this experience, I won't be buying any more Puregear products any time soon. I think they need to step up their game and start taking better care of their customers. There are plenty of other options out there, and I wouldn't recommend Puregear to anyone looking for quality products and customer service.
Disappointing Experience with PureGear: Faulty Cable and Poor Customer Service
I recently bought a PureGear wall charger and cable for my new Galaxy phone at my local TSS store. I was excited to use it, but soon after, I noticed that the connector at one end of the cable was cracking. I was disappointed because I had not subjected the cable to any abuse. I went back to TSS, but they told me that I had to contact PureGear directly for a replacement. So, I filed a warranty claim and submitted all the necessary documentation, including a photo of the defective connector.
After a few days, PureGear sent me a package, but to my surprise, it only contained the wall charger, which was not the item that needed to be replaced. I was frustrated because I had to pay a criminally exorbitant shipping and handling charge for the package. I immediately contacted them to explain the mistake, and after confirming that the cable was for an android phone, they agreed to send the correct item. However, they implied that I did not follow proper procedure, which was not true. They never acknowledged that they were at fault and made it clear that they were only doing this as a "onetime courtesy." I felt like they were doing me a favor, and I should be grateful for it.
Finally, they sent me a new cable, but it was still not the correct one. I was disappointed, but I did not want to impose on their "generosity" anymore. I decided not to buy any PureGear products again.
In conclusion, I had a bad experience with PureGear. Their customer service was not helpful, and they did not take responsibility for their mistake. I hope they improve their service and products in the future.
Pure-Gear Screen Protector: Poor Customer Service and Warranty Issues
I bought a brand new S8 and headed to T-Mobile to grab a Protect Screen. That's when I heard about Pure-Gear and their awesome guarantee, so I decided to give it a shot. But before I installed it, I did my research and checked out some videos on YouTube. Unfortunately, I didn't see any videos showing how well the screen protector protected people's phones, and there were a few unhappy customers complaining that their screen was still cracked and the product didn't work. On top of that, it seemed like Pure-Gear was not responding to warranty inquiries.
I decided to post some comments on Pure-Gear's YouTube videos, sharing my concerns about the lack of positive reviews and the company's poor customer service. To my surprise, Pure-Gear responded to me on all of their YouTube videos, telling me to contact them through Facebook if I had any warranty issues. This was honestly frustrating - why should I have to use my social media account just to get a warranty claim handled?
To verify my suspicions, I decided to check out Pure-Gear on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website. Unfortunately, things were not looking good - there were no positive reviews, but there were a total of 57 complaints at the time, with only 1 neutral review and 12 negative reviews. I responded to Pure-Gear's YouTube comments expressing my frustration about having to use Facebook, and I informed them about the BBB problems. However, all of a sudden, Pure-Gear disabled comments on all the videos I had commented on.
In the end, I decided to return the product for a full refund. This experience taught me an important lesson - always educate yourself about a product before you purchase it and take it out of the box. It's unfortunate that it didn't work out for me with Pure-Gear, but I hope that the company learns from their mistakes and improves their customer service for future customers.
PureGear HD Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra: Expensive and Flawed
I gotta say, my experience with PureGear was not great. I got a screen protector for my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra from Verizon, and it was a PureGear HD one. Let me tell you, it was the most expensive screen protector I've ever bought, and also the worst. I paid fifty bucks for it, and my thumb print would only work like one out of every ten tries. That's not even the worst part. By the third day, I noticed a tiny crack on the side of the protector. And then on the fourth day, there was another one on the other side. And then on the fifth day, there were two more. I didn't even drop my phone or anything, so I don't know what happened.
I tried to talk to someone on their Live Chat, but I don't even know if it was a real person or just a robot. They said they would waive the shipping and handling fee for a new case, but then I had to wait forever for them to respond to me. I eventually gave up and called Verizon to get a refund. I don't want to replace this garbage with more garbage. I mean, maybe it's because of the curve of my phone's design, but that's still no excuse for charging so much for a product that clearly has flaws.
I'm not the only one who's had problems with this screen protector, either. I'm sure my local Verizon has dealt with plenty of other people who are just as unhappy as I am. Shame on PureGear for making such a crappy product, and shame on Verizon for selling it.

Puregear Warranty Program: Poor Customer Service and Shipping Delays
So, I recently ordered a new screen protector from Puregear through their warranty program. Let me tell you, they were quick to take my money out of my account, but not so quick with shipping my order. I tried emailing them, but they never responded. I even tried calling them, but they put me on hold for 7 minutes and then ended the call. It was frustrating to say the least. The only way I was able to talk to customer service was through their online chat.
Finally, after more than two weeks of waiting, I was able to get my tracking information. It took them three weeks to send my screen protector, but when I received it, it was the wrong one! Can you believe it? They told me they would be sending the correct one in 5 days. They blamed it on system changes, which I can understand to an extent, but their lack of communication and continual screw ups show that this company has some major issues.
I am very upset with how this company is run. They need to work on their customer service and communication skills. It's frustrating to have to wait so long for an order and then receive the wrong item. I hope they can improve their processes and make things right for their customers.
Puregear Screen Protectors: False Promises and Poor Quality
Me and my hubby got new Samsungs, S8 and S9, and we were excited to get some screen protectors to keep them safe. We decided to go with Puregear, since they promised free replacements for life and we thought that meant they were a good quality product. Boy, were we wrong!
Within the first month, my Steel 360 tempered glass protector cracked. I was disappointed, but at least I could get a replacement for free, right? Wrong again. I filed a warranty claim and paid $9.95, but when the replacement arrived, it was the wrong protector. I thought it was just a mistake, so I tried again when my husband's protector cracked and fell off. He had to tape it to the phone to have some protection. We filed another claim, paid another $9.95, and once again received the wrong protector. I was getting frustrated, so I emailed Puregear twice, but got no response. I decided to call them, but ended up sitting on hold for hours and never talked to customer service.
We paid $60 for each protector, thinking they would hold up better because they cost so much and promised free replacements for life. But what good is that promise if they can't even send the right product? I'm totally fed up with them and not being able to get ahold of anyone. Spending that much on a case that is made of "glass" is not worth it. Duh... glass breaks easily. I just want to warn future screen buyers to be careful with Puregear and their false promises.
Disappointing Quality and Overpriced: My Experience with Puregear's 360 Steel Screen Protector for S22 Ultra
I recently purchased a screen protector from Puregear for my S22 Ultra, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed with the quality. I paid a whopping $65.00 for this thing, and on 7/28/22, just 20 days after purchasing it, I dropped my phone and the protector shattered. I've used many screen protectors over the years and have never had one break so easily. Sure, it did protect my phone's screen, but come on, this thing shattered on a minor drop.
I decided to use the warranty and get a replacement, but was disappointed to find out that I had to pay $11.95 in shipping just to get a new one. I received the replacement around 8/12/22, and today, on the 24th, I noticed that one of the edges was already shattered. I haven't dropped my phone at all and have been extra careful because I know these screen protectors are garbage.
I really don't recommend Puregear's 360 steel screen protectors. They're overpriced and not worth the money. And to add insult to injury, they charge you for shipping when their product clearly isn't up to par. I've gotten better screen protectors off Amazon for next to nothing. I'm done with Puregear and won't be paying another $11.95 for a piece of garbage. Save your money and stay clear of Puregear.

Disappointing Quality and Customer Service from Puregear Screen Protector - Save Your Money
I recently purchased a screen protector from Puregear for my new phone, and I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. I spent $50 on this thing, and within a week, one of the corners started coming away from my phone. I went back to the Verizon store where I bought it, but they were out of stock and told me to come back later or contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
So, I reached out to Puregear for a replacement, but they wanted $12 for shipping. I wasn't too keen on spending even more money on this thing, so I decided to wait. Unfortunately, I've been back to Verizon twice since then, and they still don't have any in stock. By my third visit, they told me I had to get the replacement from the manufacturer.
Meanwhile, the screen protector has continued to come away from my phone, and one of the edges has even chipped. I mean, if it can't even withstand being in my purse, what's the point of having it? And why would I want to spend another $12 on a replacement that's just going to be another piece of crap?
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Puregear to anyone. The quality of their products seems to be pretty low, and their customer service isn't much better. Save your money and look elsewhere for a screen protector that actually works.
Puregear Phone Screen Protector: A Costly Scam with No Warranty Replacement
Got myself a Puregear phone screen protector from my local cell supply store. It was a bit pricey, costing me 40 Canadian dollars, but I was told that I could get unlimited replacements as long as I pay for the shipping. I was pretty excited to have this product as it would protect my phone screen from scratches and cracks.
However, my excitement was short-lived as the screen protector broke immediately. I didn't even drop it, it just shattered near the camera while it was in my purse. I was disappointed and frustrated, but I remembered the warranty that came with it. I went to claim the warranty and was told that it would take 10-14 days to get my replacement product.
I waited patiently for a month, but I never received the replacement. I followed up on October 5th, and I was told that it would take another 7-14 business days. It's now November, and I still haven't received any response from them. My phone screen is now damaged, and I can't even get an email response from them.
I decided to report them on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) website, and to my surprise, I found 15 pages of complaints from people who had the same issue as me. These complaints date back to 2019, which made me realize that this company is a scam. I advise buyers to beware of this company and their products.
Fortunately, my credit card company disputed the charges, but I still lost the 40 dollars I spent on the original purchase. It's a shame that I had to go through all this trouble just to get a replacement product that I was promised. I hope that this review will help others avoid the same mistake that I made.
Puregear Charging Cable: Overpriced and Disappointing Warranty Policy
I recently got my hands on a Puregear charging cable from a Verizon store. The price tag was $24.99 plus tax, which seemed a bit steep to me. However, the clerk assured me that it came with a "Lifetime Warranty." I thought that was a great deal and went ahead with the purchase.
But, just a few weeks later, the cable stopped working. I was disappointed and went back to the store to get it replaced. However, the clerk told me that I had to file a claim online. I was a bit taken aback by this, but I went ahead and visited the Puregear website to file the claim.
To my surprise, I found out that there was a fee of $11.95 to file a warranty claim. On top of that, the form to fill out was long and complicated. I felt like giving up right then and there. Who wants to pay almost $12 and go through a complicated process just to get a replacement cable?
To make matters worse, I decided to do some research online and found out that other sellers were offering the exact same Puregear charging cable for just $4.50, with free shipping! I couldn't believe it. I ended up buying two cables online for just $9.00, and they arrived in no time.
It's ridiculous that Verizon charges $24.99 for a product that's made in China, and Puregear charges an additional $11.95 to replace it. It's a complete rip-off. Why would anyone want to pay so much when they can get the same product for a fraction of the price online, with the added convenience of having it delivered to their doorstep?
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with Puregear's warranty policy and pricing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy their products from Verizon stores. Instead, I suggest looking for better deals online.
Puregear Screen Protectors: Overpriced and Underwhelming
I gotta say, I wouldn't recommend Puregear to anyone. I fell for the ol' AT&T employee trick and ended up buying a couple of screen protectors from them. Let me tell you, they were way overpriced and not worth it at all. After just four days of using it, the protector was already damaged. My previous one lasted a whopping seven years without a scratch, so you can imagine my disappointment.
To make matters worse, registering the product online took over an hour and they even had the nerve to charge an extra $10 for shipping costs when I tried to file a complaint. Like, seriously? It's only $9 to buy a new one with free shipping from somewhere else. I don't have time for all that nonsense.
I did a little research and found out that there are already a ton of complaints against this company with the BBB. So, I think it's best to steer clear of Puregear until they get their act together and start standing behind their products.
Oh, and sorry if the pic I attached isn't super clear. There was a lot of glare.
Disappointing Experience with Pure-gear's Steel 360 Protectors for LG V30 - A Review
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with Pure-gear. I mean, I'm not one to write a review unless something really grinds my gears, ya know? And boy, did this grind my gears.
I bought two of their Steel 360 protectors for my LG V30 phone and my son's. I was pretty excited about them, I gotta admit. But within just a couple days, mine had already cracked - and I hadn't even dropped it! I mean, maybe it was just a fluke, right? So I contacted PureGear and they replaced it for free. That was pretty cool of them, I guess.
But then, wouldn't you know it, my replacement cracked again after just a little 2-foot fall onto a wood floor. I mean, come on! How tough is this "steel" protector supposed to be? So I had to pay another $10 to replace it.
And then, just last week, my son's protector cracked too - and he swears he didn't even drop it! So now I've had to pay $20 more than the original cost for these things, and it's only been 5 months. That's just not right.
I'm starting to think I might have to switch back to Zagg. They've been protecting my daughter's phone for years without any issues. I mean, I really wanted to like Pure-gear, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Puregear's "Lifetime Warranty" is a Scam - Terrible Customer Service and No Response
I recently bought the HD Glass Screen Protector from Puregear, which comes with a "lifetime warranty". I was excited to have this extra protection for my device, but unfortunately, I ran into some issues when trying to make a warranty claim.
I went to their website and filled out the Warranty Form, but when it came time to submit and process the payment, the website wouldn't let me. I tried multiple times on different days, but had no luck. Feeling frustrated, I decided to email their support email listed on the website.
Three days went by and I still hadn't heard back from them. I decided to email again, hoping to get a response. Unfortunately, it's now March 12, 2020 and I still haven't received any communication from them.
I decided to try calling the phone number listed on their website, but was put on hold for about 10 minutes before being told to call back later. At this point, I'm starting to doubt whether there are any real people working at this company.
It's disappointing that they promise a warranty, but don't seem to have any intention of upholding it. I feel like I've been scammed and I'm frustrated that it's so difficult to get in touch with them.
After doing some research, I found that there are many complaints about Puregear on the BBB website. It's surprising that they're still in business with so many dissatisfied customers. I would strongly advise against buying anything from them.
In conclusion, I had a terrible experience with Puregear and would not recommend them to anyone. Their lack of customer service and failure to uphold their warranty promise is unacceptable.
Puregear Products: A Total Bust - Don't Waste Your Money
I gotta tell ya, folks, steer clear of Puregear and their products. I had a screen protector installed on my phone by my phone company, and let me tell you, it was a total bust. Within just a few weeks, that thing was shattered to smithereens. So, I filled out a warranty claim, thank goodness I had that warranty, and paid $10 for shipping. And then, I waited. And waited. And waited some more. I mean, I get it, things take time, but this was double the expected wait time. So, I shot them an email just to check in and make sure everything was on the up and up. No response. Waited some more, sent another email. Still nothing.
At this point, I was fed up. I took that "protector" off my phone and let me tell you, my phone has been looking mighty fine ever since. I tried calling them up on three separate occasions during business hours, but all I got was a never-ending ringtone. So, I sent one final email just asking for my extra $10 back that they took out of my bank account. And you guessed it, nada.
It's been a whopping 6 months now, and I've essentially paid these guys $50 for a product that was about as useful as a screen door on a submarine, and an extra $10 for absolutely nothing. I mean, come on, man. That's just not right. So, I'm here to warn all you good people out there to not fall for their tricks and lose your hard-earned cash. Stay away from Puregear, folks.
