The tracking number was LWQ000045275

Delivery person showed up and yelled from the truck that he'd only take the package down the walkway to the building and that he would not take it up my steps. I have approximately 6 steps. (I can provide a photo of the steps if required).

I said as it was almost a hundred pounds and I am 70 years old that I could not carry it up the steps so he left without even taking it out of the truck and delivering it.

I called Amazon to let them know, and they called Purolator and Purolator said that the delivery driver said I'd refused the package which was totally untrue, I simply explained that I needed it carried up the steps which is only reasonable.

I called Purolator to put in a complaint and was told that it would be a 45 minute wait and would I like a call back.

I said yes, and confirmed my telephone number, but no one called me back.

The last package I had delivered here a month ago was left at an empty apartment door in another building and a neighbor informed me of it. It had been left out in the cold and rain for days where it was left. As it was a rounded large computer screen, I'm amazed that it actually survived. I did not bother to report that one as we found it and it seemed okay; however, the very rude and condescending delivery driver that was here today really made me call to complain as this was the last straw.

I get deliveries here all the time and do not have any issues except for with Purolator. The last item I had delivered was only about 50 pounds and when the driver of the company that delivered it for Costco saw me, he immediately offered me more help than I even needed and I thanked him dearly and tipped him.

I don't know if Purolator has the same delivery driver doing this same area each time but if that is the case, the man should be fired. He was rude, condescending and refused to carry package up 6 steps for a 70 year old woman. Then he lied and marked the package deliver as "refused",

I'm going to start only ordering from company's that agree to use other courier services rather than Purolator.

I do not regard the issue as closed. I am still waiting for my refund from the seller as PUROLATOR"S DELIVERY DRIVER sent it back.

I waited 3 days at home as it was only delivered 3 days after the date I was informed it would arrive, only to be treated rudely and have my bed in a box returned. I live alone, am old and have no family or people I know in the immediate area, therefore, this has been a huge inconvenience to me along with the emotional pain of being spoken to as that driver spoke to me.
