Life is meaningless without goals. All you do is drift through life in aimless meandering. You lack that drive, that belief, that something is worth your time and effort. Such people have the same mindset as gamers who achieve every achievement in a game but lose interest after receiving the last unlocked one. Goals help you set a target and give you a reason to live.

Why do you think it's important to have goals in your life? A life spent with no goal or vision also seems valueless. I hope you understand what I mean. It is true that in many cases we need motivation, an impetus to achieve something moving further. Goals always keep us focused in the short run while making long term plans necessary.
